Deep Down in the Dungeon Wallsby misstwipietwinsChaptersPart 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6Part 1Author's Note Gonna try to finish this story in time for Halloween, hope y'all enjoy. Part 1 A throbbing headache is what first wakes Fluttershy up, then the pain in the middle of her back. She moaned in pain and slowly sat up to find that she was in a cell. Scared and confused she very shakily walks to the bars that confined her within its grasp. Careful as not to further infuriate the pain that she has come to terms with. Examining the bars she notices that one of the bars was coming loose and had a piece of it missing. Taking the misshapen bar and wiggled it with her hoof; close but not ready to come off just yet. Fluttershy furrowed her eyebrows a bit but confirming in her head that it will come off with a little more force. She turned back to where she was once laying and saw a pool of- her own blood? She shuddered, sending a zap of pain on her back and regretting it greatly. “I-I gotta find some ban-bandages, th-there must be some a-around h-here somewhere.” She whispered to herself. She looked around the cell finding a single tinderbox, and a small skinny bottle of an unknown liquid, and some stray rubble. She looked around the cell some more and found a note she hadn’t seen when she did her first sweep. “ My name is Little Oak, and the day is October 1st I believe, and I don’t remember what year it is. I have been stuck in this dungeon for- Celestia’s sake I don’t know about 8 months now, I was grabbed in the middle of the night by an unknown thing, or creature whatever. It had a malformed face and it’s long metal arm.” Fluttershy stopped for a second, she thought of the creature that caught her roaming the halls. The note must be referring to it. She continued to read the note. “ I tried to fight back but…, sweet Jesus all it took was a single swoop from it and I was down for the count. The last thing I saw before blacking out was 2 more creatures coming towards me both had the same malformed face but they had claws instead of metal arms…” There were more? Fluttershy trembled in fear. “...one of them had a bag assuming to put me in. The next thing I remember was waking in this hellhole. Hearing moans of pain and quiet screams coming from my fellow ponies who were also trapped in here with me. Oh… oh no, they’re coming for me, if anypony reads this GET OU-” Fluttershy couldn’t read the rest because it was covered in dried blood. She decides to take the mysterious pony’s advice and get out. Grabbing the largest piece of rubble and holding it between her hooves pounded on the loose metal. Success! The metal came off with a clang, she took the metal quickly and waited or any signs of the monsters being around. She was met with deathly silence except for the rattling of chains. Taking this opportunity she squeezed through the cell wall. Now that she was out she started looking for an exit. Passing by the empty cells; absent of ponies unless skeletons count. She whimpered and trotted faster then a sudden twinge of pain tore through the pegasus and caused her to stop. “Ow…” She needed something that would help her with this back problem; Oh! That bottle with the liquid maybe. She took the bottle and examined it closer, and read a label that said Laudanum. She had no absolute clue what that was. “Oh… maybe this helps with something? Maybe I have to drink it… but what about if its poison?” She whispered to herself. So many thoughts ran through her head. But ultimately she decides to... “W-whatever with it!” She took the bottle top off with her teeth and drank the whole bottle. “I hope I don’t regret that..” She carefully walked towards a cell door and opened it carefully opened it. In front of her was a staircase leading towards an elevator. To the left was a beautiful ornate door with a lion as the doorknob. To the right was a wooden door with some barrels surrounding it with a sign overhead reading: Storage. Maybe she can find something to help light up the place other than her single tinderbox. She heads towards the wooden door and opened it. “Great it’s still dark in here,” Fluttershy muttered to herself. The room had no lit candles or torches. But plenty of large barrels containing wine and other chemicals, selves of wines, and tables lined with various tools and other equipment. “T-There must be a flashlight or anything that could light my way.” There were plenty of cobwebs in the storage space, maybe there were some spiders to help her out. She walked down the long flight of stairs, she reached the bottom of the stairs. And a cracking sound then collapse. Welp, there goes the way back up. “Oh f-fluff me…” Fluttershy shouted. “...Maybe I can find a latter or another way up. Hopefully..” She heads over to the table with equipment and searched; nothing. She checked the wine selves nothing but there was a tinderbox. Maybe there was, yep another door. She walked towards the door and opened it. Well at least this room, was well it or supply closet was. The single torch was like a safe haven, a single blessing. But now was not the time bask in the light Unless it was the morning sun when she was out of this place. She open the lone closet in the tiny room and found a lantern. Picked up Lantern. And there was some oil too. Picked up Large Oil Potion. She filled up the lantern with oil and went out of the room to test the lantern. She took the lantern between her teeth and turn the knob. It worked! She sighed in relief. “At least I have somethin-” There was a moaning sound the sound of footsteps. “Oh no..” She has to hide. She ran back to the supply closet shut the door, got into the closet and shut that door and turn off her lantern. Now she waits. The grunts came closer and closer. * Bang * Fluttershy closes her eyes and prays it would go away. * Bang * * Bang * * Bang * The door collapse under the creature constant pounding, It entered the room. Fluttershy held her breath as if the sound could let it to her location. The creature loitered about looking for the mare making strangled noises here and there. Then as suddenly as it came, it left taking its harmful intentions with it. Fluttershy sat in the closet for a while longer just to be sure. She opens the closet door and sneaks her way to the now open doorway. Peaking her head out in the doorway she scanned the area for any signs of the creature. It was indeed gone, but it left another open doorway. With no other options, she heads for it. Part 2Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Part 3Author's Note Sorry, this chapter is really short, I promise the next one will be longer and with more action-packed. Once again thanks for reading and help with any mistakes I made in this story. Part 3 Before she hit the final step, a light splashing noise echoed in the distance. Turning on the lantern; she scans the large open room for the source of the noise. Nothing, but barrels and boxes floating on the calm water. She figured it was just something falling down, and continued into the flooded storage. She heads for the closes door which is on her right and opens it. A singular table and a single chemical container, oh and a jar of oil was all that was held in this room. She picked up the oil first then container and examined it. “Aqua Regina” She double checked the recipe to make sure this is what she needed. It was needless to say. Picked up Aqua Regina. She trotted to the room across from her and opened that door. That room was filled to the brim with strange chemicals, and vials which held various unknown specimens inside. She looked on the many of the shelves but nothing pertaining to the next ingredient. She once again did a thorough sweep of the room and still nothing. She took a big breath and sighed heavily. “ Why can’t things be easier to find, I’m n-not playing a scavenger hunt for Celestia’s sake. And my legs are getting tired from walking around this decrepit place.” But alas she knew she had to keep going and continue this game. Fluttershy, through soaked hooves, trotted to the last door on her left. Which was on the far side of the large room. She opened the door. Darkness filled the blank corridor it was practically consuming the light from her lantern, she decides to fill the lantern with more oil to make it brighter. It worked somewhat, the light barely reached the door at the end of the hall. A splashing sound once again emitted, but this time but louder and clearer than before with a light growl. She froze, her heart beating faster with each moment passing by. A quiet whimper sounded from the mare. She turns to the door behind her making sure it was open so that if anything dared to burst from that door at the end she at least had an escape route. She put one shakey hoof in front of the other, slowly and quietly. Her heart leaping with every step. Now in front of the metal door, she puts her ear against the door to see if the thing is still splashing around. All she hears is the quiet pitter-patter of the water. The door creaks open Fluttershy peeks, and my God. The room was gigantic compared to the last one. Filled with creatures, equipment, and chemicals she had never seen before, some of the shelves and tables were in disarray, also a lot of floating boxes and barrels accompanied the empty walkways. Other than that nothing seemed out of the ordinary. That is until a shrill cry echoed from a corner. Part 4Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Part 5Author's Note LONG TIME NO SEE EH? But ye I've been busy asf and I finally have time to write more of this story and it's 1k word hell ye. This part and the next one will focus on the CMC for a bit then back to flutters . As always leave comments and stuff ye. Part 5 “FLUTTERSHY!” Twilight screamed into the desolate forest. It’s been days since she last saw her friend. Usually her absence from ponyville for 1 or 2 days would have been understandable. But when Twilight and Rainbow Dash went to her cottage to check on her, the door had been clawed to all hell and was now resting within the confines of the cottage. Rainbow Dash was the first to dash in the home to search for the shy pony. She tore up the house along with the help of Twilight who came rushing behind her. But then again the house was already torn up to pieces; claw marks were everywhere small bits of blood here and there. When they could not find her they called for Angel bunny. Somewhere a thump sounded from behind a bookcase then Angel bunny poked his head out from his hiding place. The poor thing was shaking like a leaf he was a bit dirty and his fur a little matted. Twilight and Rainbow looked at each other worriedly. Twilight turned and asked the little bunny what happened to Fluttershy? Angel hopped toward the front door then stopped right in front of the doorframe and signal the mares to follow him. Once again the mares looked at each other then trotted behind Angel he led them to Fluttershy’s backyard there were hoofprints, and Angel’s prints along with… something else’s prints nothing like Twilight has ever seen Angel followed the path with the prints, then on the trail heading toward the Everfree, Twilight and Rainbow shared the feeling of dread that was beginning to boil within their stomachs. With a little ways into the everfree Angel stopped and pointed to a seemingly normal bush and other fauna. Confused Rainbow asked “Uh the trail of hoofprints stops here.” Angel rolled his eyes and moved some of the bushes out of the way to reveal more hoofprints and the unknown creatures prints. He pointed for them to go further in. Twilight this time went in first, it was extremely muddy in that area it was a struggle just to keep from slipping, but they trudged on. Until Twilight fell into some mud thanks to a tree root. She fell face first into some grass and mud. Rainbow chuckled until Twilight got her bearings and stood up and turned to face Rainbow. Twilight eyes were met with Rainbow horrified expression. Twilight rubbed her face then looked at her hooves They were drenched in blood. Twilight screamed in horror. After that they rushed back to town and when to the Ponyville Police Department, thus starting the countless search parties, Twilight even informed Celestia and she in turn sent they best search and rescue team she had to offer to search for the missing element of harmony. It’s been 3 weeks since then and ponies are starting to give up hope of ever finding her dead or alive. But not for the cutie mark crusaders. Even though that Applejack, Rainbow, and Rarity told them to leave it to them and to the authorities, they still wanted to help so they decided that they were to search for Fluttershy by themselves. They packed everything that they needed for essentially a camping trip, and told their sisters/guardian that they wanted to go camping at the treehouse tomorrow and they agreed to let the crusaders “camp” at the treehouse. “Are you guys sure you want to do this?” Scootaloo questioned. They were in “Of course I want to do this!” Applebloom replied with the utmost confidence. “I do too but I don’t want to get caught…” Sweetie Belle said meekly. “Me too Sweetie Belle, also I don’t exactly want to face what every took Fluttershy.” Scootaloo pondered for a moment then asked. “We all need to bring something to protect ourselves and bring walkie talkies, along with flashlights.” “ I’ll bring mah machete that Big Mac gave to me on Christmas!” Applebloom excitedly answered. “I’ll bring pepper spray I guess…” Sweetie Belle responded. “Alright then girls I’ll meet up with you guys at the train station tomorrow.” “What time?” Sweetie belle inquired. “Sunrise I guess.” “That early?” Sweetie Belle said confused. “I mean I always wake up that early” Applebloom said. “Yeah but I don’t…” “I don’t either but we gotta do it so we have the whole day to search for fluttershy, then when it gets dark we can sneak our way back to the treehouse.” “Another question: Why the train station?” Applebloom asked. “ It’s the closest to my house.” Scootaloo mused. “Plus the Everfree is not that far from there anyway and it the safest bet to not get caught.” A knock at the clubhouse door made the crusaders nearly jump out of their skin then a voice sounded from outside the door. “Hey ya’ll it’s almost curfew, can y’all wrap it up?” Whew. It was just Applejack. “Okay we’re done!” All crusaders said in unison. Applejack opened the door and the crusaders came out. “So what did y’all talk about in there?” “Just general camping stuff.” Sweetie Belle said. “We’re thinking about doing S'mores!” Applebloom excitedly said to Applejack. “Yeah and tell stories like we did on that one trip!” “It sounds like you fillies are up to something.” Applejack chuckled. Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo felt their hearts leap up into their throats then they chuckled along with Applejack figuring that maybe she was just messing with them. “Well Scoots, and Sweetie Belle you best run on home now. Cuz’ of curfew and all that jazz.” “Alright… Bye Applebloom” Scootaloo said before running off “Uh bye Applebloom see you tomorrow!” Sweetie Belle said before she also took off. “Bye guys!” Appleboom shouted. The young filly couldn’t wait to go on this adventure with her two best friends tomorrow. “Hey Applejack I’m gonna go to bed early.” “What for sugarcube?” “For tomorrow.” “Oh just can’t wait to go camping with them tomorrow?” “Uh duh! Well anyway, night Applejack.” “Goodnight Applebloom.” The both of them walked together towards the Farmhouse, the filly eagerly awaiting tomorrow. Part 6Something has gone wrong.
