It all happened so fast... One moment I'm standing in the middle of the woods practicing something I probably shouldn't be doing. A blinding flash then "BOOM" scary underground cave system. Then out of nowhere a ghost with a really long beard starts preaching to me about how I'm his"new Apprentice" and that I was "destined for great things" while neglecting to say anything about running away from various Monsters, Demons, Dragons, Kings/Queens... just angry people and creatures in general really. All the while raising four kids to be the next defenders of the people...No pressure right?

All characters are human. Kinda, they may look human but they're not. that is exclusively reserved for our protagonist, they consider themselves something else. They will use terms like everybody and everyone. None of them are anthro and they all have special abilities that set them apart from other tribes . I'll indulge more upon this topic in the story.
