“AGGGHH!!” The soldier screamed as I smashed his face into the ground under my white boot.

I smirked as I rubbed my heel into his skull enjoying the sounds of his pain.

“Aww is the big stwong man afraid of the fwail defencewess woman?”

“AAGGGHHHH! Please! I’ll do anyth- AAAAAAAAAAHHHHGGGGHHH!!!”

I pressed my foot down harder on his disproportionately small head until I could hear it cracking.

“Huh? What’s that? I can’t hear you through that mouth full of dirt.”

“I’LL DO ANY-” But before he could finish I split his head open like a ripe melon.

“Well this frail defenceless woman just fucked you the hell up, bitch. Anyone else wanna turn?”

I was met with silence.

“Alright. Now FUCK OFF!” everyone flinched and scattered.

I brushed my white gloves of dust as I continued walking along my path. My spiky mint green ponytail bouncing in sync with my steps and my white chestplate reflecting the sunlight with my tail tightly wrapped around the waist of my black bodysuit.

“Now. on with-” but I was ruefully cut off by my blue scouter beeping.

“You have a new target.”

I tapped a button on the side of my scouter “Name?”

“Frieza planet 588764 or as the inhabitants call it… Equis”

“Equis huh? How long will it take me to get there?”

“About 1 year and 6 months.”

“Ughhh...I hate long trips…”

“Just get back for briefing.”

“Yeah Yeah I’m on my way.”

The mane 6 plus dragon dork were approaching the throne room with one nervous Twilight leading the way.

‘Alright twilight calm down...breathe. Everything is fine its all fine, except for the fact that the creature escaped…’

Applejack leaned over and whispered in Rainbow Dash’s ear “She’s doing it again..” Rainbow quietly agreed. “This has to be the 50th time already.”

They made it to the large set of doors but were stopped by guards. “Not yet. She is speaking with Princess luna at the moment.”

So there they waited for what felt like days but in reality was just 30 minutes the doors opened as a very irate Princess Luna stormed past muttering to herself, not even sparing them a glance.

“What was that about?” Said Rainbow.

“Ah don't know Rainbow, but something was eatin’ at her somthin’ awful.”

“Well. there’s only one way to find out…” Twilight replied as she turned to the doors, but stopped as the doors opened up and out stepped Celestia.

“Ah. Twilight, right on time. Come we have much to discuss.”

They stepped passed the guards and into the throne room.

“So Princess whe-”

“You are not to go after the creature. Me and luna will handle it.”

“But Prin-”

“And you are to keep the elements on you at all times until told otherwise. Are we clear?”

“Yes Princess…”

“Alright. Now we have other things to talk about.”

-5 Hours earlier-

I hear a voice. It's so far away I can barely hear it. It sounds worried but i can't make out what is being said. Im being moved. My eyes are so heavy…

Water is splashing in my face. There is that voice again. Don't worry little voice everything is gonna be ok…

I am moving quickly now. Sliding. Going down. So far down. I stop…

Blue. Such a pretty blue. Two big blue orbs right in front of me. something else too. A face? A face...

My head was pounding with a thunderous beat; my mouth, dry like cotton. I tried to force my eyes open but they stubbornly refused. I heard a muffled noise coming from my left. At first I thought it was coming from a different room on account of how far away and obscured it seemed, but then I felt something touching me as a barely audible voice said, “It is regaining consciousness!”

I finally managed to pry my eyes open and instead of a harsh light and stark white room that I would associate with a hospital I was met with grey stone walls lit with a dim & sickly green light. I turned my head and watched as a blurry shape come into focus. next to me stood a creature unlike anything I had ever seen. It was an equine with a black chitinous shell covering its body. Its eyes glowed a soft blue, it had a horn coming out of its forehead and it had insect like wings. My first thought was that I maybe in the middle of an acid trip, but I was too lucid for that to be the case. I opened my mouth and tried to say something but all that came out was a strangled croak. The creature looked at me as I tried again, “Wha wha-ter”

A bowl was pressed to my lips and from it flowed that cool life-giving liquid and with it I felt strength return to my body. I reached up and took the bowl in my hands and downed its contents with gusto. I choked once or twice but I didn't care with every pull I took I felt stronger and less muddled. When the bowl was empty I had regained enough strength to sit up and turn to the creature beside me “Did you help me?”

A distinctly feminine voice responded to my query, “I tended to you but I was not the one who found you. He is waiting just outside.”

I try to move but the pain stops me. A hoof gently pushes me back down onto the surprisingly comfortable bed.

Easy. Easy. We don't want to make things worse now do we?”

A thoughtful expression flashed across her face. “Its odd there wasn't even a scratch on you when you got here when by all accounts we should have you in a full body cast, if the scout that brought you in is to be believed.”

“The person who brought me here can I see him?”

She gave me a gentle smile

“I will call him in”

As she exited the room I was give a chance to take in my surroundings like I had said before the room was spacious and dimly lit in a soft green glow, but now I began to notice more details. There were a few more beds around me though they were rather odd in the fact that they were neon green translucent waterbeds I looked down at mine and it was the same though it didn't feel quite like water filling it. It sloshed and jiggled far to little for that to be the case.

The door opened and a changeling walked in. It was almost indistinguishable from the first one with the exception of its slightly larger build. It walked up to me and began speaking in a deep baritone.

“It is good to see you awake. I was beginning to think you were lost to us.”

“Well I'm still kickin’ and that ain't gonna change any time soon. Though I suppose I have you to thank for that.” I shot back.

A chuckle bubbled up in the back of his throat “Indeed.”

“Might I have the name of my mighty savior?”

“my designation is 84J3R2…”

An idea struck me as I smiled wide.

“that's a bit of a mouth full. I’ll just call you R2.”

-3 Days later-

I sat in the middle of Mystic Night's backyard as I sat in a meditative position with my hands cupped in front of my chest, concentrating on the tingling sensation in my stomach.

“...”

But I was ruefully interrupted by a certain bat horse…

“what are you even doing?”

A growl rumbled in the back of my throat

“trying to focus…”

“focus on what exactly?”

“Remember when I told you about ki?”

“Yeah what about it?”

“I'm trying to figure out how to use it safely…”

I cracked my eye open to see her looking at me weirdly.

“Why..?”

“because if I want to keep my power in check I have to learn how to control it.”

‘And use it to punch stuff REALLY hard in the FACE with my FIST.'

She looked at me as if she wanted nothing more then to stop me and pull me back inside.

‘For the love of god please tell me I didn't get stuck with this world's version of Chi Chi…’

She opened her mouth to say something but I cut her off.

“Well unless you want me to accidentally blow something up by sneezing…”

She shut her mouth before shaking her head and walking back inside but not before muttering under her breath.

“Just please don't hurt yourself…”

‘...Why would it matter if I did? It's not like shes my mother or anything…’

“...”

I shook my head clear of those thoughts and went back to what I was doing before I was interrupted, I started to feel the tingling in my chest again before i felt a heat in the palm of my hands.

I focused harder and from behind my closed eyes I seen a bright yellow light and I smirked.

This is gonna be fun.

I opened my eyes to see the the tiny ball of energy between my hands I brought my hand up as the energy became unstable for a couple of seconds before returning to normal as I looked at it in wonder.

And in a random stroke of genius I tossed it into the air where it promptly exploded.

“Oh shit!” was my only reaction to this.

As I watched the light die down I heard a door slam open.

“WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE LUNAR PRINCESS WAS THAT!?!?!?”

I responded with the best thing I could think of.

“Ummmm nothing?”

“Um nothing?! EXPLOSIONS AREN'T NOTHING!!!! WHAT IN EQUESTRIA DID YOU DO?!?”

At this point ponies were coming out of there houses to investigate.

“Inside. now.”

“Yes ma'am.”

I walked past her and into the house with my head down as she followed me in and shut the door.

I sat down on the couch as she sat across from me and gave me a hard look.

“...”

“Explain.”

“I shot a ki blast and it exploded…”

And WHY pray tell did you do that?

“Because I didn't know it would explode…”

Her nostrils began to flare and she had this crazed look in her eyes.

“I cannot BELIEVE YOU!”

I flinched and blocked my face expecting to be slapped as she seemed to have notice this and began to visibly calm down.

“Have you forgotten that you are in hiding? What if someone had seen you? What if you had been hurt? I might have first aid training but I'm not a doctor and taking you to a hospital would be tantamount to tying you up and putting you on the palace’s doorsteps.”

“I-I…”

“...What would you have me do Matt? Would you make me sit there and watch you bleed out on the floor unable to do anything because getting help will get you executed?”

I remained silent as I stared at her unable to defend myself.

I have no idea how to respond to her as this was all new to me.

“Why would it matter if I did...?”

She froze and all of the fury drained from her face.

“What?”

The utterance was barely even a whisper.

“Why would it matter if I did get hurt? You have no reason to be upset about that. I am nobody to you.”

“Why would you ever think that?”

“I'm just not something worth stressing out over… there are more important things to worry about.”

Tears start welling up in her eyes. Im suddenly wrapped in her embrace.

“How could you think so little of yourself? Why would you say such things?”

“Because that's just how things work.”

The dam broke and the waterworks flowed forth I stood there limply as a stranger held me in her arms and bawled like a child.

‘Why is she crying?’

I just stood there waiting for what felt like hours for her to calm down.

As she did this I began to wonder why she was getting so upset over this.

Finally her sobs turned to sniffles as she settled down.

I tried to wiggle my way out of her grasp.

She fought to keep hold of me but I eventually pulled away from her.

I beat a hasty retreat and told her to come find me when she stopped being weird.
