Part One: No Trix, Please
"I am pleased to announce that the votes for this year's head of the School Fundraising Comittee are in!" Principal Celestia grinned happily at the students of Canterlot High. "This year's competition was close, but the winner is...SUNSET SHIMMER!"
Sunset blushed as everyone cheered and clapped. Her friends grabbed her in a group hug, nearly smothering her in thier excitement.
"Yeah! I knew you'd win!" Rainbow Dash was ecstatic.
"But of course, Darling! With her friends behind her, how could she not?" Rarity said, smiling.
"Yay, Sunset!!!" Pinkie screeched, leaping for joy.
"Ah knew ya could do it, sugarcube." Applejack offered, chuckling.
"Um, yay." Fluttershy spoke softly.
"Great job, Sunset!" Twilight praised. "Congratulations!" The former Crystal Prepper smiled.
Sunset laughed as she pried herself loose from six pairs of arms.
"Thanks, guys." She said. "I'm glad you all had my back during the campaigning time."
A loud shriek caused them all to look around. A tall, white haired girl was stalking towards them. She stopped just a couple of feet away and glared at Sunset.
"That position should have been Trixie's!" She said angrily.
"The only position that ought to be yours is across someone's knee." Dash muttered, making Sunset giggle.
"Trixie heard that!" snapped Trixie.
"Oh good, I was beginning to wonder if she was deaf." Dash fired back.
"Ok, ok, enough, Rainbow!" Applejack cut in, elbowing her friend.
Trixie pointed at Sunset. "Trixie wanted that spot."
"I'm sorry." Sunset said. "The students voted me in. So I'm in."
"You will regret this!" Trixie promised furiously. "The Great and Powerful Trixie always gets her way!" She stomped off in a huff.
"Well, that went well." Rainbow Dash said.
"Eeyup." Applejack agreed. "It ought to be interestin' to see what she plans on doin'. Not like she can overturn the student's vote."
"No," Sunset agreed. "But you know Trixie. She'll complain and whine and at least try to overturn it."
The others laughed at that, knowing how very true it was. Trixie had a flair for the seriously over dramatic. For the most part, it was quite harmless.
The group of friends headed off for celebratory ice cream and a meeting to brainstorm fundraising ideas.
From near the stage, Trixie glared at the girls...especially Sunset.
"You will regret the day you won!" She threatened aloud. "The Great and Powerful Trixie shall see to that!"
Noticing a couple of students staring at her, she huffed and stormed off, plotting revenge Trixie style.

'I don't believe it! I just don't believe it!'
Principal Celestia was staring down at a folder on her desk.
'Actually, given all the magic stuff that's happened around here, I can quite easily believe anything. But still.'
Her eyes narrowed down at the bottom of one page.
'Sunset Shimmer. You have some explaining to do.'

Sunset and her friends were busy with the fundraiser. It had been decided that they would have a bake sale(overseen by Pinkie, for obvious reasons). Along with that, they would put on a play, which made Rarity happy because she was in charge of costumes.
"This is so much fun!!" Pinkie said excitedly as she happily worked in the school kitchen, graciously donated to the cause by Granny Smith, who had required only one thing: a promise that it would be fully restored to its usual, pristine self afterwards. Sunset and Pinkie had both Pinkie Promised it would be.
"Yeah, for you!" groaned Dash, who had somehow been roped into helping(quite literally)by Applejack. "Why am I even in here? You know I hate to cook. Or bake."
"Everyone has to help, silly!" Pinkie giggled. "Especially since we are trying to get all this done in three days! So get back to mixing those cupcakes, cupcake!!"
Dash groaned loudly and, in a final display of defiance, dragged herself back to her station, muttering the whole way about "shoving cupcakes where the sun don't shine!" No one paid any attention.
"Sunset!!!" Rarity screeched as she burst into the kitchen. "Sunset, you simply must come at once! Oh, its a disaster! A crime against fashion! Oh, come on!!!"
Sunset barely had time to lay her cookie mixing spoon down before being whisked off in a big hurry.
"Rarity, what's the matter?" Sunset asked breathlessly, attempting to free herself.
"This!!! This is the matter!!!" The enraged fashionista jerked her to a halt inside the costume department and pointed.
Sunset's eyes widened in shock and amazement.
"Oh. Oh wow."
All of the costumes Rarity had been working on were nearly demolished. They had either been torn up or had silver stars stuck all over them...which was definitely not part of Rarity's design.
"This monstrosity must not go unpunished!" Rarity all but screeched. "Some of my finest work, ruined!! Utterly ruined!! I shall have to start over and do you know how much time that will take?! It will be nothing short of a miracle if I get done before the play in three days!!!"
Sunset leaned in to study the destroyed outfits. Her eyes locked on the stars, in particular. There was only one person who loved silver stars enough to plaster them all over something.
"Trixie." Sunset groaned.
"Trixie?!" exploded Rarity wrathfully. "Oh that...that...that VILLIAN!!! Oh, just you wait til I get my hands on her!"
"Rarity, calm down." Sunset said soothingly. "Just...see what you can do about the costumes, ok? We'll worry about Trixie later."
"But...but didn't you hear me??" Rarity sputtered. "It will be a miracle if I get done in time!!"
Sunset smiled and turned to leave.
"What...Sunset! Where are you going?? Don't abandon me in my hour of need!"
"I'm going to get your miracle, Rarity." Sunset said with a smile, before hurrying from the room and leaving Rarity to slump dejectedly into a chair.
As Sunset hurried down the hall, Trixie peeked out from a classroom and chuckled evilly.
'If I turn things into a large enough disaster, Principal Celestia will put Trixie in charge!'
She chuckled as she headed out of the room.

The next problem was in the kitchen. All the baking equipment vanished. Pinkie had a breakdown, threatening to frost the culprit or batter them. With literal batter. Preferably cake batter. A piece of blue cloth was found caught on the door jam by Applejack.
"Trixie..." Sunset sighed.
"She must be really mad you won." Twilight said, shaking her head.
"That mean meany pants!" Pinkie yelled. Fluttershy patted her back reassuringly.
"Lets just hope this doesn't get completely out of hand." Sunset said.
And out in the hall, a giggling Trixie ran before she could get caught.

The third problem to arise was the destruction of over half the set for the play. Applejack had been in charge of its construction, and she was quite furious.
No one needed evidence to know who did it.
"Trixie." Sunset growled, now starting to get more than irritated.
"This qualify as 'out of hand'?" Applejack demanded, huffing at the mess.
"Ok, that's it!" Dash said, doubling her fists. "Time for a good old fashioned beat down!!"
"No." Sunset said, grabbing her shirt and pulling her back. "That won't solve anything. Best thing we can do is go ahead as planned and not let her get under our skin."
"Ok. Fine." Dash said irritably. "But one more trick, just one, and its me and her and lights out!" She scowled.
"Is there a problem?" Principal Celestia came up on the stage, frowning at the destroyed sets.
"Yeah, named Trixie!" Dash growled under her breath.
"Its ok, Principal Celestia." Sunset said. "Just a little trouble, but we've got it."
"Good. Because tomorrow night is your play. I would hate to have it ruined." Principal Celestia took another look around. "And if I discover the culprit, their will be severe consequences."
Hidden nearby, Trixie blinked. 'Ok. The Great and Powerful Trixie must try one more thing! That spot will be mine!'
Sunset looked at the principal to discover she was watching her disapprovingly.
"Um, did I do something?" Sunset asked.
"Sunset, when the fundraiser is over," Principal Celestia said,"I want to meet with you in my office. I have a matter of great importance to discuss with you." Her eyes narrowed a little and her expression said 'you are in trouble'.
Sunset blinked. "O-ok." She said.
Principal Celestia walked off. Everyone got busy restoring the sets and props for the play. Sunset was worried.
'What in Equestria did I do???'

The fundraiser bake sale was a major hit, as was the play, much to Trixie's bitter disappointment. Rarity had finished all the costumes in plenty of time, thanks to her friends, and Applejack had repaired the set.
After all was said and done, Sunset finally allowed her friends to convince her to go tell the principal all the 'mishaps' that had occured. She refused to name names, though.
"Its alright." Principal Celestia said. "I have a pretty good idea who it was."
Sunset sighed. "I wish I hadn't let my friends talk me into telling you all that happened."
"They were right." Principal Celestia said calmly. "And I assure you it won't happen again."
Sunset rose to leave. She was halfway to the door when the principal spoke.
"Sunset." The girl turned. "Don't forget to meet me here for that discussion I need to have with you."
Sunset still didn't know why she was in trouble, and that was unsettling.
"Alright." She said. "First thing tomorrow after school?"
At the answering nod, she left. Principal Celestia stared at the closed door.
'I am going to have to do something. I can't let it go unpunished. But what?'
She sighed, then reached for her phone to solve the moment's more pressing issue: the student who had caused no end of trouble for Sunset that week.
'Trixie. You are in for a rude awakening.'

Trixie made her way to Principal Celestia's office, hoping that the reason for being called there did not have anything to do with her sabotage attempts on Sunset.
The minute she entered, however, those hopes were dashed, as she saw that not only was the principal there, but also her own mother, who looked quite angry.
Uh oh.
"Trixie Lulamoon!" her mother said severely. "I have been hearing disturbing reports from Principal Celestia regarding you! She says you destroyed all kinds of things this week. That you were trying to sabotage another student. Is this true?"
Trixie gulped. "T...Trixie has no knowledge of any..." she started.
"Don't you dare lie to me, missy!" Mrs. Lulamoon scowled.
Trixie was finished. And she knew it.
"Ok! Trixie did it!" She burst out. "Trixie was jealous that Sunset won the head of the fundraising commitee so Trixie decided to get revenge and wreck everything so Sunset would be tossed off the committee and Trixie could take over!"
Principal Celestia looked at Mrs. Lulamoon, who scowled at her daughter before looking back.
"I apologise." She said. "And it will not happen again. Trixie! Apologise!"
"Trixie is sorry." Trixie muttered somewhat defiantly.
"In light of what she did," the principal said, "Trixie is suspended for a week."
Trixie huffed at that. Suspended? For a week?? Why, how dare that...?
"Ouch!" Her reverie was broken by a vise like grip on her ear.
"I appreciate you calling me." Mrs. Lulamoon told the principal. She glared at Trixie and began pulling her from the room. "As for you, young lady, you just wait til we get home! You are taking a long overdue trip across my knee!"
"NOOOOOOOOooooo...." Trixie's wail faded into the distance.
Principal Celestia looked at the file still on her desk, then at the door, pondering what she had just heard.
'Hmmm...Sunset, I believe I may have just thought of how to deal with you after all!
