A Mistake That Can Change The Future
Twilight and Spike were sitting in the middle of Twilight's parents house as they were putting together a puzzle since Twilight had been visiting her parents that day. After they finished the puzzle Twilight got a message from the princess by her mail box. Twilight opened it with her magic.
The message told her to come see Starlight and Celestia so she went to Canterlot and when she went to Canterlot and got to the princess the princess tackled her and started to cry. Twilight was stunned by her reaction. She wondered why the princess was crying so much.
She stared at Celestia as she didn't know what to say in order to comfort Celestia. Celestia worked to try and compose herself and started to speak.
"Oh Twilight! I'm so sorry! I tried and tried but I kept failing! I know you'll never love me now!" Celestia cried. Twilight wondered what was going on. She smoothed out Celestia's hair with her hand and Celestia stopped hugging her and turned her back to Twilight.
"Princess what is it? What's going on?" Twilight asked. Celestia sighed and turned around to face Twilight.
Twilight I made a huge mistake with your parents. Your parents hate me now. They never want to see me again." Celestia said. Twilight was shocked.
"What!? Why is that!? They would never hate you. What could you possibly say to make them hate you?" Twilight asked.
"I told them that I was a better parent to you then they were! Please don't be mad at me!?" Celestia cried out. Twilight sighed with annoyance
Alright I'll go fix this. I'm not mad at you so don't think I'm leaving because of that. I'll be back." Twilight said. Twilight left to go see her parents. She had to travel a few miles to see them.
Twilight was to pissed off to say hello to anybody. She didn't even have the patience to say bye to her friends as this revelation had ruined her entire day. She was never going to trust Celestia again.
Soon she made it to her parents place. When she got Inside however she discovered something truly shocking. Both her parents had killed themselves. Twilight was so distraught that she set herself on fire.
When Celestia heard about this tragedy she shut herself inside her castle while Luna announced Twilight's death. Everything seemed to go downhill from their.
When Twilight's friends found out about it they quit their jobs of protecting Equestria which led to Luna picking the Young Six to defend Equestria.
The inexperienced group was hesitant about this at first but after that they worked hard at learning how to defend the nation. Starlight who was the last remaining friend of Twilight's was picked to be an advisor to Celestia.
Spike disappeared a few days after all of this. Nopony ever really found him again. Some speculated her went to go live with other dragons while others speculate that he's now a recluse. The truth was is that nopony will ever really find out what really happened to him.
Twilight's death had consequences that reached far and wide throughout the Equestria. It was deemed the worst year yet as nothing of this magnitude has ever happened before.
Most ponies pointed out that this tragedy could have been prevented had Celestia not tell Twilight's parents what she had told them but their was no taking back her mistake now as it had been made.
Discord however knew that this consequence could not stand so he contacted Starswirl who worked to set everything right again. He studied a lot in order to find the spell that would allow him to change history.
Once Starswirl found what he was looking for he went back and changed everything that had happened in the past few hours. He made it so that Celestia never told Twilight's parents what she told them and Twilight never killed herself neither her friends did as well.
Once he did that he changed it to the present day and everything was back to normal. At first everypony was confused by the sudden shift of emotion as they were all brought back to a better state of affairs. They wondered who had done whatever they had done to throw them off a path that they had been going on.
Starswirl immediately told Twilight what he had done to fix stuff and Twilight got together with Celestia and told Twilight's parents what had happened. At first Twilight's parents didn't believe what had happened but soon decided to accept the fact on what had happened.
Celestia made sure to never be that stupid and cause Twilight to kill herself and change Equestria. As that one fatal mistake that Celestia had made changed everything.
When the citizens found out what Celestia had done they carried out a public humiliation on her which she admitted that she had deserved it all. When Spike grew up years later Twilight told him about what happened as he was more mature to hear about it. He took it pretty well.
Twilight had a discussion with her friends about how they could have used the elements in order to bring everything back to the way it was instead of having to get Starswirl but found out later that the elements couldn't reverse time so they researched this.
When they found all the information about this error that they could get the magically modified the elements in order to reverse time. It was highly unethical but needed as they never knew if another situation like the one that happened could happen again.
The whole situation almost seemed like a nightmare due to how unbelievable it was. celestia couldn't accept the fact that she had done something like that. She also couldn't believe that she could remember everything she had done even if time had been reversed. She tried to figure this out but soon gave up.
Twilight and her friends and Celestia made sure to never cause something like to ever happen ever again.
