Unrequited Loveby spaceguy5234ChaptersI will tell herNothing will stop meShe will be mineThis is my chance{ Message 2 to my readers }Cancelled{ Message to my readers }I will tell herI shall tell her I will tell her, the night after the morrow, the next Nightmare Night. I was Nightmare moon, and she was the element of magic, the leader of their group. I was so pent up in my anger, my hatred, and my jealousy towards my sister, the goddess of the sun. She was adored by all the ponies of Equestria, what with her being in control of the sun, the princess and rightful ruler of the land. I had enough. I refused to let her raise the sun once more, bathing the land in eternal darkness, so that each and every single pony can adore MY work, what I control! This got me a one way ticket to the moon, the celestial body I control. I was alone there, so very alone. I returned, with more hatred towards my sister and all the ponies of equestria than I thought possible! Then she came. The most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes upon. She came, empowered with the elements of harmony, her friends’ right beside her, and stripped me of all my hatred, my jealousy, my anger, and left me bare. I was lucky enough to have my sister forgive me and let me have control of the night once more. She tried helping me be friends with the ponies of Ponyville last year, during the last Nightmare Night, with some good feedback; I’m no longer feared as much as I was. This would all have not been possible if it not had been for HER. Her, with those beautiful lavender eyes, so intelligent and eager to learn. Her dark mane, with the purple stripe I love so much. Her smile, so warm and friendly. Her name. Twilight Sparkle. The element of magic. I love her. I love her more than I love the night itself, my everlasting companion. I want her to be mine. I want her to always be there every time I turn. I want her to lie in my bed with me, curled up in my embrace. I want her to return my feelings with her own, to prove to me how she feels with one thing. A kiss. A kiss like no other. I want her to be mine more than I want to be a princess, more than I want to be a goddess, and more than I want to be an immortal. I want her to be mine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There was a knock on Luna’s chamber door. “Princess Luna, are you alright in there? We are hearing strange noises coming from within” said the royal Canterlot guard charged with guarding her door called in. Luna returned to reality, noticing that she was making noises out of the back of her throat that she has never made before. “Be gone! We are fine, we would have called if need be!” Luna’s chamber was nothing special. There were bookshelves lined with books, a bed in the corner for when she’s not studying. On the exact opposite side of the room from where she was sitting at her desk was the door, and to the wall on the left is a single window. There was a simple bathroom just a few hooves away from her bed. The walls were a dark blue, darker than she would have preferred actually. The tiles in the room were near black, polished to shine, with dots of silver here and there, to give the look of a night sky right after the sun set, before all the stars have come out. She liked the room. It was a place for her to go when she was not busy with her royal duties for her to study, learn, and just relax. Luna listened as she heard the guard trot away from her door, listening closely until she no longer heard the hoof beats against the tile floor. “What hath become of us?” Luna asked herself. She trotted over to her bed, sliding underneath the covers, positioning herself for maximum comfort. She closed her eyes, and let sleep take her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She dreamed that sleep. She doesn’t normally dream, so this took her by surprise. In this dream, it was nightmare night, and she was strolling around PonyVille with her love by her side, enjoying games, talking, dancing to the music, all the fun stuff. When the night was over, and it was time for twilight to return to the library, Luna walked her there. At the door, Luna decided it was the perfect time to tell twilight how she really felt. “I love you Twilight Sparkle” Luna said looking into the face of her love. Twilight turned her head to the side, and noticeably fought back tears. “I knew you were going to say that. I just knew it. I’m sorry princess, but I am not a fillyfooler. I’m sorry I have to tell you this way, but I’m not sure if can talk to you anymore, knowing how you feel.” With that, Twilight ran inside, slamming the door behind her. This epidemic brought forth quite the crowd, so as Luna was crying she turned to leave only to be blocked by a mob of people laughing at her. They yelled names at her, hurtful names. They threw rocks, twigs, anything they could find and get their hooves on. One rock landed on Luna’s forehead, right next to her horn. Luna could feel the magic forming inside her horn, and she could do nothing about it. She didn’t want to do anything about it. When the magic buildup reached its peak, there was a flash of a bright white light. Luna looked around after the light subsided, looking at the remains of a burning PonyVille, a large pile of corpses around her, and when she turned to look at the hollowed out tree that was the PonyVille library, she saw nothing but a huge crater with pieces of flaming wood and books scattered about. Luna did the only thing she could do. She ran. She ran straight into the Everfree forest, tears burning down the sides of her cheeks. She tripped over a root sticking out of the ground and she fell face first into the ground. Except, there was no ground, she just kept falling. Falling into blackness, nothingness. She could hear the echoes of the laughter from all the ponies she killed, and she could hear one thing above all the noise. Crying. Not just small little crying, pure heart retching sobs. And she knew the source. It was coming from her Twilight. No not hers, just Twilight. She refused her feelings. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luna bolted upright in her bed, gasping for breath, sweat drenching her coat. The same guard from before came ramming through the door. “Princess!” he exclaimed. “Are you alright?” The princess gained control of her breathing and looked outside and noticed the moon was 3/4th of the way along its path. She turned to study the guard for the first time she can recall. He was slightly more muscular than the average stallion, only slightly though. He was a Pegasus, with a midnight blue coat and a black mane. His armor covered most of his body, so much so that she could not see his cutie mark. His eyes were a different story though. His irises were a bright emerald green, shining with innocence, yet hardened by his job. Overall he was a handsome stallion, just not under the princess’s preference. Upon further inspection, she noticed he was not only the guard charged to protect the princess’s chamber, but he was also the princess’s personal guard whenever she went for a midnight flight. “We are fine, but we thank thee for your kindness” The princess replied, giving him a warm smile as he slowly backed out of the room, closing the door behind him. She rolled out of bed, landing on her hooves with a slight thud. She trotted over to the bathroom and went inside, closing the door behind her. It’s a simple bathroom design, bathtub against the back wall, the sink to the right wall with a mirror cabinet above it, the toilet and the towel rack to the left wall. The walls were white, and so where the tiles that made up the floor. She walked over to the bathtub and turned on the warm water, letting it heat up before putting in the stopper to let the bathtub fill up with water. When it was full, she slowly got in, making sure to feel every bit of the warm water against her body, and sinking in up to her neck. She sat there like that for about 20 minutes, just thinking. Every time she thought of something, the thought of twilight would always push itself back into her mind. The thought of twilight’s mane brushing up against her body. The thought of looking into those adorable, intelligent eyes, and leaning in, having her lips meet twilight’s soft, warm lips. NO! she thought as soon as she registered what went through her mind. “I cannot have these feelings for another mare, especially as a princess! I would become the laughing stock of Equestria!” she told herself. She decided to stop thinking, and just finish her bath. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She got out of the tub and pulled the stopper out with her, letting the now cool water drain into the castle’s intricate system of pipes. She trotted over to the cabinet and hovered out a brush, and started working out all the knots in her mane and coat letting herself think, only to be bombarded by thoughts of Twilight again, so she decided to go blank minded for the rest of the day. When she was done brushing she trotted back out to her room, and opened her wardrobe. She pulled out her royal regalia, and put it on. She looked out the window and noticed that the sun was already up and moving. She walked out of her room, and into the hallway. She noticed her personal guard was gone, and a new one took his place. This one was slightly smaller, and had a much colder face, with scars running up and down his body. He had a red coat, and a brown mane. His eyes were a dull blue, also cold and heartless. His armor also covered his cutie mark, which was normal for a guard apparently. She walked down the hall to her sister’s room, and as she was about to knock, the door slammed open, and a scared looking Celestia was the one who caused it. “What is wrong sister?” Luna asks. “The library in Ponyville burned down.” Nothing will stop meCelestia was obviously fighting back tears as she fell to the ground in front of Luna. "What do you mean the library burned down?" Luna asked, mind still a blank slate from the pact she made with herself earlier. "Do you not understand?! Twilight is in the hospital! She might die!” You could watch Luna's face go from neutral to pure terror as it slowly dawned on her. Luna ran down the white hallway, with only one thing on her mind. Twilight. She ran straight out the grand ornate door, and took to the skies. She moved so fast she broke the sound barrier, causing black and dark blue to spread out from where she was. She could feel the sweat drenching her coat and getting in her eyes as she flew, but she didn't care. All she cared about was making sure Twilight would live. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` She flew, for 2 hours straight, to Ponyville. When she could vaguely make out all the different shops and houses, she put in all she could. She flew straight to the entrance to the hospital and cantered in, ignoring all the ponies bowing before her as she went. The nurse was terrified. Terrified because the Princess of The Night was running up to her, shouting something unintelligible, her mane and tail in a mess and a crazed look in her eye. The nurse did the only thing she could do, so she passed out. Luna watched as the nurse fell, unsure of what to do. A doctor rushed over and examined the nurse for a bit before deciding she would be perfectly fine and he turned to regard the princess, with a slight bow. "WHERE ART TWILIGHT SPARKLE?" Luna boomed in her Royal Canterlot voice, causing the doctor to shrink back covering his ears. "R-r-room 118, Princess." He told Luna, fear clearly resonating in his voice. Luna ran up the stairs, pushing past the nurses and doctors in the way. "116... 117... 118!" Luna said as she trotted down the hallway, coming up to twilight's room. She was not prepared for what came next. Twilight, lying in the cheap hospital bed, with various burns and scars running up and down her body, making her look like a child’s jigsaw puzzle. I.V.'s pumping various fluids into her body. An oxygen mask over her muzzle, helping her to breath. There was a heart monitor next to her bed, showing that she was alive, but barely. Luna sat in the chair next to Twilight's bed, tears streaming down her face and falling off her muzzle to the white tile floor below. She tore her eyes from the lying mass that is Twilight to study her surroundings. The walls were light green, with a dark green stripe that was at the top and bottom of the wall. The bed had similar blankets and pillows, the only difference in the different shade of green. She looked down to study her body, and she immediately noticed the smell coming off her. Her normally clean and soft coat was clumped here and there by sweat, and her mane was in knots. Her bib was no-where to be found, and her crown was a part of the huge knot known as her mane. She leaned back in the chair and looked at Twilight, not caring how she looks or smells. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She didn't know she fell asleep, she just did. Lucky for her, she didn't dream. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She was woken awake by being slightly jostled by a doctor. She studied the doctor before saying anything. He was below average build, with light brown eyes, a chocolate coat, and a dark brown mane. His cutie mark was that of Hermes's staff, the one with the snakes curing around a staff, normally used for E.M.T's, and he had a very nervous look on his face. Upon closer inspection, she noticed he was the same doctor from before, the one she scared. "P-princess Luna?" The doctor asked. "Yes?" The princess asked nicely, now that she has calmed a bit. "T-Twilight... Twilight obviously has horrible burns; she even has s-some bad ones inside, from inhaling embers p-probably." The doctor explained. "She is a very lucky mare. Surviving what happened... she's lucky to be alive." With that, the doctor stepped out of the room. "Twilight.... Twilight, you’re going to live. You are going to live, and thrive, and make my sister proud, like you normally do. But most of all...,” Luna choked out, “Most of all, you’re not going to leave, not until you know how I feel." Luna leaned back in the chair and fell asleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luna awoke to Twilight moving. "Twilight!" Luna exclaimed. "What?! What happened?" Twilight said. "The library burned down, remember?" "Oh yeah... what are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be in Canterlot." Twilight asked. "I came to make sure you’re ok... and to tell you something..." Luna said. "What do you want to tell me?" Twilight asked with a look of curiosity in her eyes. "I... I love you twilight." Luna admitted. "You... you what?" Twilight asked. "I said, that I love you twilight sparkle." Luna said. "I heard you the first time. No Luna, I don't love you. I am no filly-fooler, I don't like mares, nor do I like you that way. Please... leave..." Twilight asked showing hint of anger in her voice. "Twilight, I-" Luna started. "GO!" Twilight screamed, while throwing her food dish with her magic at Luna. Luna dodged the food, and ran out the door, to nothing. She floated, in complete darkness, listening to the screams of Twilight coming from all directions, food hurtling towards her face from all sides. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luna awoke with a start, quickly looking around to see everything was the way it was. Twilight was still lying there burned everywhere, the machines next to her whirring and beeping periodically. She noticed a blanket was on her, one that she did not get herself. "I must remember to thank that doctor later." Luna thought to herself, getting up and stretching. She walked over to the side of twilight's bed, being careful of the machines, and looked down at twilight with nothing but affection in her eyes. The heartbeat monitor then flat lined. She will be mineA/N: This chapter was made with major help by my friend Chris, he is the one best with "trips" and I just can't write stuff like this. WARNING: there is clop, but very little. I will write more for the story, if you guys want it. Luna sat in blissful ignorance, smiling and wondering what the strange beeping noise meant. As the doctors started rushing in, it slowly dawned on her as to what was happening. “Grab the defibrillator; she’s going into cardiac arrest!” One doctor yelled at her subordinates, scrambling to try and revive the flat-lining mare. “She’s…she’s dying” Luna mumbled, unable to believe what was happening. The doctor’s became a blur, as she started getting dizzy. This can’t be happening, she thought as she fell to the ground. The room then slowly disappeared into darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She sat alone, floating through empty space. It reminded her of her banishment to the moon, dark and desolate. So empty. So cold. So alone. The thought brought tears to her eyes, remembering all the fear and hatred she went through during that thousand years of banishment. She heard a voice echo through the darkness. “I know you’ll pull through, Luna.” She recognized it as her older sister’s voice. The thought of her banishment and hearing her sister’s voice brought back old thoughts of hatred, but those thoughts were silenced when she remembered how her sister welcomed her back with open arms despite trying to plunge the world into darkness. Her thoughts were drawn back to Twilight, the sweet, beautiful mare that had been taken away from her. Why did this happen to Twilight? What had caused it? Her mind raced for answers she simply could not find. She began to break down and cry, knowing that she might never be able to tell Twilight how she felt about her. Suddenly, she saw a light in the distance. The light slowly began to grow. It then became apparent that it wasn’t just a light. It was an explosion. With tears in her eyes, Luna stared in awe at the explosion. It spread towards her like the shockwave after an atomic bomb, consuming her in a blinding light. Flying backwards through the empty space, she shut her eyes and began to scream. She began to feel a searing pain, as if she had caught fire. She could feel her skin melting away as the flames slowly burned her to death. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Why are you screaming?” Twilight asked in a light voice. Luna opened her eyes, and found herself in her bedroom lying on her bed next to a scared Twilight. “Are you okay?” Twilight asked, staring at her as if she was from another planet. “I’m fine.” Luna says, wondering how she ended up back in her room. What was that explosion? She thought, looking down to examine herself. Her mane and coat were neat and clean, and her bib was properly in place. Looking over at Twilight, she saw that her burns and scars were gone and she looked as beautiful as ever. It must have all been a dream, she thought. “Why are you in my bedroom?” Luna asked, both surprised and delighted to find Twilight in there with her. “Weren’t we gonna have a little fun?” Twilight asked with a deviant smile, nudging herself closer to Luna and playfully nipping at her neck. Luna thought this was odd, seeing as Twilight was usually quiet and polite, not deviant like this, but she did not deny that she wanted it. She moved in closer to Twilight, rubbing against her soft, lavender coat. START CLOP SCENEStill nipping at her neck, Twilight moved in for the kiss. This is amazing, Luna thought, completely in shock from what was happening. While the two were caught up in the kiss, neither of them were able to sense that something was moving closer. Twilight suddenly pulled away from the kiss, surprising Luna. She had that deviant smile still on her, which was uncharacteristic to Twilight. She slid off the bed and trotted over to a bag that Luna hadn’t seen before. “What are you getting?” Luna asked. “Oh, you’ll see…” Twilight said with a smile and seductive tone in her voice. Twilight used her magic to open the bag and pull out what Luna thought was just a weird shiny stick. “What’s that?” Luna asked, interested to see why Twilight grabbed it. “Oh, it’s a double-ended dildo.” “A what?” She asked, never before hearing of one of these. “You don’t know what a dildo is?” Twilight asked, finding her innocence to be cute. “No, I know what a dildo is, but what’s the point of having a double-ended one?” She asked. “It’s for two mares to use.” The idea was attractive to Luna, so she decided to go with it. Twilight walked to the edge of the bed and told Luna to lie on her back, to which she complied. She was scared but excited, looking down to see her pussy wet with anticipation. Without hesitation, Twilight shoved the dildo into Luna’s vagina. She screamed in pain and ecstasy, realizing that it was twice as big as a normal stallion’s penis. She relaxed, and as Twilight moved it in and out, she felt as if her legs were turning into jelly. With each thrust, she could feel herself reaching her climax. Twilight shoved it all the way in, and Luna moaned in ecstasy, squeezing her eyes shut and climaxing as everything around her exploded. END CLOP SCENE When Luna opened her eyes, she saw that the room was in flames, and that the ceiling had collapsed. Searching frantically for Twilight, she tried to get out of the bed but realized she was pinned down by pieces of the ceiling that had collapsed. She yelled for Twilight, and heard a scream. She looked down and saw that twilight had also been pinned to the floor, and that her mane had caught fire. She screamed for help, tears welling up her eyes, but no one came. She tried lifting the rubble pinning Twilight using her magic, but to no avail. When all hope was lost, she screamed at the top of her lungs in fear and agony. Suddenly, every flame in the room was extinguished. “Wh-Who’s th-there?” Luna stuttered, completely in shock. The door creaked open, and a tall pony with a dark hood stepped in. Luna was ecstatic. “Oh thank the heavens! Please help us, the ceiling collapsed and we’re stuck!” The hooded pony chuckled and slowly walked over to the pinned Twilight. Barely conscious from her burns and blood loss, Twilight muttered “Please…help…” The hooded pony smirked and placed her hoof on Twilight head. She whispered “No.” and Luna watched in horror as she stomped Twilight’s head in. Luna’s mouth hung open in horror as she watched her love’s blood flow across the floor. The figure wiped her hoof off on the floor and trotted over to the end of the bed. The figure used magic to pick up a sharp piece of rubble, looking over at Luna. “Silly girl, you should know that love between two mares is frowned upon in Equestria.” Luna recognized the voice, but before she could respond the rubble shot across the room and pierced her skull. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luna awoke on the outskirts of Ponyville, in the Everfree Forest. It was night, and she was surrounded by an orange glow. She stood and turned, and to her horror saw the entirety of Ponyville in flames. “Isn’t it beautiful?” She heard from behind her. She turned around and saw the hooded figure, holding the head of Pinkie Pie in her hoof. “Who are you?!” Luna yelled, filled with fury over the deaths of Pinkie Pie and her beloved Twilight. She watched in disbelief as the hooded figure unveiled her identity. It was Luna behind the mask. “I’m you!” she yelled with glee, grinning with the most evil, unhinged grin than the real Luna had ever seen. Luna was in shock as to who the hooded figure was. The doppelganger looked at the severed head and laughed, amused by the head’s shocked expression. “You should have heard the little annoying bitch before I chopped her head off. ‘No! Please Luna, don’t! Somebody! Anybody! Help! Nooooo!!!’ CHINK! And off with her head!” The doppelganger was completely unhinged, her eyes twitching and dilated, her mane stained with blood splatter. “Why are you doing this?” Luna yelled, scared by her doppelganger’s sociopathic behavior. The doppelganger grinned. “Don’t tell me, you actually care about these ponies? Despite how they treat you like an outcast, fearing you?” “But Twilight Sparkle helped me make friends!” She yelled, angered by the doppelganger even more. The doppelganger muttered, “You stupid girl,” tossing down the head and disappeared into the forest. She began to chase the doppelganger, but stopped when she heard what sounded like a stampede. She turned around, only to see the residents of Ponyville charging at her. Someone in the crowd yelled “There she is!” as the charging citizens sped towards her. She turned to run, but was blindsided by Big Macintosh, knocking her to the ground. He pinned her down as the crowd gathered around the two. She yelled “I didn’t do it, it was someone else!” But to no avail. His eyes were dead set on her. “Don’t lie.” He said, his voice filled with anger. She began to cry, whispering “I didn’t do it.” With tears streaming from his eyes, he yelled, “This is for my sister, you bitch!” punching her and knocking her out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When she awoke, she was being held upright by two guards in front of a gallows. It was dawn, the sun shining a dull glow, and the flames that had scorched Ponyville the night before had been extinguished, leaving nothing but ashes behind. The townspeople had built this gallows after retrieving Luna, just for her. When she saw it, she cried out and started pulling away from the guards. “Settle down girl,” One guard said, “There’s no getting away from here.” Luna stopped and began to sob. She noticed the townspeople behind her, who were talking amongst themselves. The mayor then approaches her, clearing her throat and silencing the crowd. “Princess Luna, you have been accused of the slaughter of the majority of the Ponyville populace, and destruction of the entire town. How do you plead?” “I didn’t do it, it was someone who looked like me!” she yelled. The crowd mocked her, one pony yelling “No! It wasn’t me! It was the three-legged pony!” The mayor once again silenced the crowd. “Well, I suppose it doesn’t matter. The whole town saw that it was you.” She said. With no sympathy in her voice, the mayor decreed, “For your crimes against Ponyville and its people, you are hereby sentenced to death by execution.” The crowd roared with delight as the guards dragged her up the steps, positioning her over the trap door. The guards slipped the noose over her neck, tightening it to where she could barely breathe. As the guards walked away, one of them muttered “I hope you burn for what you did to my daughter.” The mayor walked up the steps and over to Luna. “Do you have any last words?” she asked. Luna yelled at the top of her lungs “I DIDN’T DO IT!” The mayor frowned, and coldly muttered “Kill her.” With tears welling up in her eyes, she closed them and whispered, “I didn’t do it,” as the trap door swung open from under her hooves. This is my chanceA/N: Hey! So very extremely sorry that it took so long for this chapter to be made. I have college coming up, so I'm getting very busy. Anyway, I need to give special thanks to my good friend Ethan, who helped out alot with the making of this chapter. Enough about me, on with the chapter! Luna woke gasping for breath, still feeling the noose around her neck, still hearing the coldness in the mayor’s voice. She looked around, noting she was in a hospital bed, her coat and mane now cleaned, and that she was wearing a hospital gown. She looked up and noticed there was a nurse there, just looking at her. The nurse was a unicorn. She had a green coat, and a brown mane. She also had brown eyes, and she seemed to be more annoyed than anything that she has to be here. “What happened? Where am I?” Luna asked. “You passed out when Twilight went into cardiac arrest, so we cleaned you up, put you in a bed, and let you sleep it off. You were unconscious for about 2 hours. Doctors say they want you to stay here until day after tomorrow, just to make sure your okay.” The nurse explained. “What happened to Twilight after i passed out?” Luna questioned. “She stabilized, but her condition isn’t getting better.” The nurse replied, pointing to a bed behind her. Luna got out of her bed, feeling the cold, hard tiled floor against her hooves. “Where are my shoes?” Luna asked. The nurse pointed to the closet next to the door. “Oh…” Luna muttered. The nurse walked out of the room; closing the door behind her while Luna made her way over to the closet. She pulled out her shoes, and her bib. Her crown was still yet to be found. She put on the clothing, relieved she didn’t have to feel the cold sting of the floor anymore. The princess walked out of the room, happy to be able to take a walk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As Luna was walking back to her and Twilight's room, she stopped because she heard a voice from within. “You’re gunna to get better, yah hear Twilight?” The voice said. I know that voice. That’s… That’s Applejack’s voice! The element of honesty! Luna leaned against the door to see if she could hear anyone or anything else, but there was just the sound of hooves clopping against the floor. The door suddenly opened, and the princess fell to the ground, face first. “What in tarnation… princess!” Applejack exclaimed. “Oww…” Luna mumbled, still dazed from the fall. “Are you alright there princess?” Applejack asked. “What? Oh… yes, we, I mean I am fine.” Luna replied. “Whatever you say sugar cube” Applejack stated. “I’m mighty sorry for making you fall princess, and I’m sorry ah have to leave in this much-a hurry, but ah need to get back to tha farm! Those trees won’t buck themselves!” Applejack trotted down the hallway, and turned a corner leaving the hallway deserted. Luna regained her composure and walked into the room, being careful not to trip again. She looked at Twilight, and she didn’t break down this time. Probably because I already knew what to expect, she thought to herself. Luna went back over into her bed, not taking her eys off of Twilight. She got settled in the bed, knowing she will be there for a while. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A little while later a white unicorn with a curled purple mane walked in. I already know her. Her name is Rarity; she was the one the sea serpent talked about after I returned to normal. “Princess! What are you doing here?” Rarity asked, having a look of suspicion in her eye. “I… umm… uhh…” The princess sputtered out, not knowing what to say. “Hush, hush! No need to explain darling! I completely understand!” Rarity exclaimed, over-dramatically. “Alright.” Luna replied, a look of confusion upon her face. She watched Rarity approach the bed where Twilight rested. She gently placed a well-manicured hoof on Twilights forehead and whispered to her. “Oh my dear, you look simply dreadful, and these hospital gowns do not complement your complexion.” She took a look around and her eyes popped open at the sight of the flower print curtains draped over the window. With her magic she pulled the curtain off the rods and it floated towards her enveloped in a blue glow. Luna watched in amazement as Rarity took a scalpel and some stitches from a nearby supplies table and set to work on the curtains. In several seconds she had made a beautiful scarf that practically glowed with the love that had been put into it . Rarity slid the scarf around Twilights neck and Luna could see a tear form in the white unicorn’s eye. She quickly composed herself and turned towards the princess, “Oh my, I really must be going. Poor Opal hasn’t had her daily hair braiding session!” She turned and exited the room quickly leaving Luna alone with Twilight once more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luna lay there, for about 2 more hours, just waiting. Thinking about nothing in particular, just waiting. The door to the room opened slightly. “He-Hello?” Asked a timid voice. “Yes? Who is there?” Luna replied. “Princess!” The voice squeaked. “Wh-Why are you here? Not that it matters or anything…” “I am here for Twilight.” The princess replied. "I'm also here to see Twilight, I mean, if thats okay with you..." The timid voice replied. “There is no need to explain yourself to me! You are here for a friend. Come on in.” The princess said, with a sparkle of kindness In her eyes. The door opened a bit more, revealing a yellow pegasus with a light pink mane. I don't remember her. Luna thought to herself. The shy pegasus slowly walked over to Twilight, taking in everything about the room. She stopped right next to the bed, and turned to Luna, her voice changing a bit, making it a lower tone, whie still having high pitched voice. "Don't worry Princess Luna, this nightmare will be over soon enough" She said. She turned back to Twilight, voice returning to normal. "Get better soon Twilight, ummm... I-if thats okay with you..." " What is your name?" Luna asked. "O-oh, its Fluttershy." The pegasus replied, turning to the princess. Fluttershy! I remember her! How did I not remember her earlier? Luna mentally made a note of the pegasus's name, as to not forget in the future. "I... I had best be off now, i-if you don't mind, p-princess." Fluttershy stuttered. "Goodbye Fluttershy." Luna called as Fluttershy closed the door behind her. That was an odd encounter. The princess of the night thought to herself as she got comfortable in her bed once more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luna was awoken once more when the door was opened by yet another pony. This pony was a pegasus with a cyan coat and a rainbow mane. She looked to be hiding somthing under her wing, which she dropped when she jumped because she noticed the princess also in the room. "Ahh! Princess! Wha-what are you doing here?" The cyan pegasus asked, the look of suprise on her face. What was her name? Rainbow... Rainbow... Rainbow Dash! Luna quickly thought to herself. "I am here for Twilight." The princess replied. "Well, why are you here for Twilight? Is Princess Celestia here too?" Rainbow questioned. "I'm here alone." Luns answerd. "Why are you here at all?" Rainbow pried. " Because Twilight got hurt, obviously." The princess replied dryly. Why does she need to know everything? " Whatever you say Princess." Rainbow replied, while bending over to pick up the thing she dropped earlier. She picked it up with her mouth, and tucked it once again under her wing. "What is that?" Luna asked, a new found curiosity taking her over. "This? Its the latest Daring Do book. I came here to read it to Twilight, since shes spending all this time in the hospital and all, but since your here, I think I will wait to do that." The pegasus replied. "No, go ahead, I think Twilight would enjoy it." Luna said. "Well, alright." Rainbow made her way to the chair next to Twilight's bed. "Daring Do and the Emerald Pegasus, Chapter one, waking up..." Rainbow started. Luna layed back in her bed and let the words lul her to sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This sleep was a long needed peaceful sleep. In her dream, she was on a hilltop, the grass lush and green, the trees perfect in every way. It was the middle of the night, not a single cloud in the sky, and all the stars were out. She was sitting on a red and white checkarboard blanket, curling up close to a certain lavender mare. " I love you Twilight." Luna whispered. "I love you too, Luna." Twilight replied, before planting a kiss on the princess's cheek. They sat like that, curling in close everynow andaging to plant a kiss, snuggling close together, and just being happy together, for hours. When the sun started to rise, they were laying together, staring into each other's eyes. They both hesitated to get up, but eventually did so, picking up the blanket as they walked down the hill. Everything driftend into a peaceful darkness, no yelling, nothing exploding, and no projectiles aimed for Luna. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The princess woke up and looked around. It seemed to be early morning. I guess I slept through the night. Luna thought to herself. She studied the room further, noticing a distinct lack of a rainbow maned pegasus. Upon further inspection, she found the book Rainbow was reading on the table next to the bed. She looked at the bed, noticing Twilight's breathing was deep and even, almost as if the mare was just sleeping. Luna got up. turning to the door, planning on taking a short walk in the halls of the hospital. As she neared the door, she heard the distinct sound of bouncing. What, in Celestia's name, is that? Luna wondered, stopping about 10 hoof-lengths from the door. The door slammed open, showing a pink mare with a frizzy mane. "Princess! What are YOU doing here?" The mare asked, getting a little to close for Luna's comfort. " I came to visit Twilight, and I passed out, so they gave me a bed here until tomorrow." Luna said, slowly walking backwards to gain some more personal space. "Well, that makes sense. I'm here to see Twilight, and see if shes improving any." The pink mare explained, a little to happily. This has to be the element of laughter, otherwise known as Pinkie Pie. Luna told herself. "Is your name Pinkie?" The princess asked. "Yes it is! It wouldn't be anything else, or else i wouldn't be myself, or would I be, but just with a different name..." Pinkie started. " Wha? Huh? What's going on?" A voice ranged out, moaning and groaning. The voice came fom a certain burned lavender mare. " Twilight!" Luna cried out, rushing over to her bed side. " P-princess? What are you doing here?" Twilgiht asked, still groggy from sleep. "Twiligh! You're awake!" Pinkie yelled, zipping over to the other side of the bed. "Yes, yes, I'm awake, now will somepony tell me what in Celestia's name is going on?!" Twilight nearly yelled. "Well, the library burned down with you in it." Pinkie said flatly. " Well, that explains the pain." Twilight murmured. "Will you tell us what caused the treehouse to burn down?" Luna asked. "Well, the last thing I remember is trying out a new spell, and a portal opening. Two fire creatures came through, and one threw a book at me, which hit my head. I was out cold from that until now."Twilight explained. "That must have been why the library burned down." Luna guessed. "Well, I think that since Twilight's awake, I had better go tell the others" Pinkie said, bouncing off. Twilight turned to the princess. "Why are you here princess? Is Princess Celestia here also?" "No, My sister is not here, and can you please stop calling me princess? We're friends, so there is no need for such formalities." Luna replied. "Alright pri- I mean Luna. Why are you here?" Twilight questioned. "Well, I came because you were hurt. But while I'm here, I also have to tell you somthing." Luna answered. "What is it?" Twilight asked. What will happen if she doesn't return my feelings? What if I lose her as a friend? Luna worried. "Luna? What are you going to tell me?" Twilight pried. "I-I Love you Twilight Sparkle." Luna blurted out, a deep shade of red dawning over her muzzle. { Message 2 to my readers }Hey guys, sorry to trick you into thinking you have an update. I just wanted to let you know I'm settled in, and I'm working on the next chapter, so expect to see it in a few weeks. CancelledHello everyone. I am sorry to say (to those of you who are still looking forward to a new chapter to this, if any, which I doubt there will be) that I cannot write any more for this story. I am too busy, and too much stuff has been going on in my life. I'm sorry for not releasing this sooner. { Message to my readers }Hello everyone! First off, i would like to thank you again for reading my story and liking it! Anyway, onto business. I am starting college (woohoo!!! More homework!!!) and i don't think I'll have time to write for a while, getting situated and all, so I'm going to take a break in writing. Just wanted to let you all know.
I will tell herI shall tell her I will tell her, the night after the morrow, the next Nightmare Night. “The library in Ponyville burned down.”
Nothing will stop meCelestia was obviously fighting back tears as she fell to the ground in front of Luna.
