Wallflower walked through the forest, to visit her garden, her friendly plants that she could talk to about what is happening every single day of her life. Alone, abandoned, unnoticed, unloved, depressed, scared and suicidal, those were her thoughts every single day she must woke up and walk to the school full of students who've felt like demons to her. She wasn't even in the yearbook, so is there anyone who really cares about her? - NO!
Her nightmares hunted her, she heard whispers in her head - ''You're worthless, no one likes you, kill yourself already, you shouldn't been born.'' and many, many more and Wallflower still had strenght to move on, she needed to, for herself, for her life and for her plants. Watering the flowers, hearing their whispers, their sweet whispers of how life is beautiful, friendship is stronger than love and adventures and obstacles that are awaiting on every corner of every mountain.
''Is it worth living when I'm unnoticed, when everyone hates you?'' Wallflower spoke out to the flowers.
''Is it Wallflower, you must be strong, you must carry on.''. Strange, plants are talking, or this is just happening in her head?
''WAH...You can talk?'' Wallflower asked, she never ever seen a talking plant before. Is she crazy?
''Of course, we're here, for you and only for you, we will help you.'' said that plant.
''So, what I have to do?'' she asked.
''Destroy that memory stone, then everyone will remember who you were.'' said the plant.
''I can't, they will hate Me, I can't.'' Wallflower panicked.
''Then you'll be alone forever, for the rest of your life, destroy that hellish thing and make new friends.''
''I can't and I still don't understand one thing and that one thing is why is Sunset Shimmer, that demon, more known and popular than Me, everybody loves her, why I can't be loved?!'' Wallflower yelled at the plants, frowning.
''Hey what are you yelling at?'' someone spoke out.
Wallflower turned around and saw a very familiar figure and of course it was no one else than Sunset Shimmer. She stood up looking straightly into her turqoise eyes. Sunset took a step closer to Wallflower and placed a hand on her shoulder.
''Sorry I didn't mean to scare you,'' said Sunset. ''What's your name?''
''I'm Wallflower Blush and I'm sorry for what I said.'' Wallflower answered with sad tone, looking down at her feet.
''I know that you hate Me and I'm sorry that I left you alone in that dark room.'' Sunset answered, smiling at Wallflower.
''Can I be your friend...Can I....please?'' Wallflower said, sobbing. Sunset pulled her closer to a hug and rubbed Wallflower's hair. ''Of course and don't cry, please.'' said Sunset.
''Thank you so m-much.'' Wallflower said, smiling happily as she broke the hug between them.
Sunset took her hand and let her out of the garden to the pavement and began to walk to Sunset's home. Night and darkness was coming down on the city and down on Sunset and Wallflower, their hands still entwined. Sunset, smiling at her new friend she let Wallflower's hand go and placed her hand on her right shoulder. Wallflower reacted to this by looking up at Sunset and smiled sweetly. Her house was near, they crossed the street and walked to her house, Sunset used the key and opened the door.
Wallflower was amused by the look of Sunset's house, TV, bed, computer and a large window that viewed the street. Opening the fridge, Sunset took two fresh sandwiches, one for her and one for her friend. Wallflower noticed that and walked closer to Sunset, she gave her that sandwich and giggled. Both girls sat on the bed and Sunset took a book that contained photos of her friends and placed it on her knees, Wallflower pushed herself closer to see the photos.
''This is Me and Twilight playing games.'' she pointed at the photo of her best friend and her playing some shooting game.
''Me and my friends at the beach.'' photo of her and her friends playing voleyball and of course Fluttershy diving in the water.
''Me and Twilight selfie.'' photo of her and Sci-Twi smiling to the camera, while Spike is back chasing someone.
''That's nice Sunset, I wish I had those friends, just like you.'' Wallflower said looking up at Sunset. Sunset closed the book and put it next to her on the bed and looked at her friend, smiling sweetly.
''You'll have those friends, friendship is stronger than love, friends are always here for you, no matter what will happen they're always there.'' said Sunset and continued. ''Be strong Wallflower, for Me, please.''
''I...will'' she replied. ''Can I be in your book too?''
''Sure, you can.'' she took her phone and pulled Wallflower closer to her and SNAP she took a picture.
''Thanks.'' Wallflower cheered and she had feeling that she's belonging somewhere. Sunset put the phone back to her pocket and sighed for herself. ''Do you have a place to sleep?'' Sunset asked, little worried about her.
''Sadly no.'' replied Wallflower.
''You can sleep here in my bed.''
''With y-y-you?'' Wallflower said, shocked by what Sunset said to her.
''It's alright, friends do that y'know and don't worry I'll turn around.''
''Okay...I guess.'' replied Wallflower. They both lay on the bed looking up at the ceiling. Sky was now darker and moon was shining through the window. ''Friendship is a good thing Sunset, thank you...so much.'' Wallflower said happily that she had someone and she couldn't wait to see the rest of her friends.
''I know, that book that I've showed you is something that serves as a reminder of Me and my friends, about our adventures, happiness and things that we did and we'll do together, y'know.'' Sunset said.
Wallflower nodded and wished that she knew Sunset earlier, not as she-demon but as a good caring friend. What matters now is that she is ready to meet new friends, to enjoy her life and be happy about who she is and who she wanna be.
She is not alone.
Author's Note
Since we've got new character Wallflower Blush to the party I needed to do short story about her, it doesn't matter what other thinks about you what matters is you're not alone.
