Kahmey's Home Island Chapter 2
They arrived at the island and Kahmey went ashore with RainbowDash. They brought some baskets and bottles for the food and water. RainbowDash went and gathered some apples and other fruits while Kahmey went to the creek and bottled some water.
(Kahmey, I got the food.) said RainbowDash (And I got the water.) Kahmey replied (Alright let’s get back to the Mary and have some snacks.) said Kahmey (Okay. Well I’m thirsty, can I go get drink from the creek first?) RainbowDash asked. (Sure, I can wait. Just make it quick so we can have a snack.) Kahmey replied (Alright I’ll be right back.) RainbowDash said flying to the creek.
When RainbowDash got done with her drink, her and Kahmey returned to the ship and they all had a snack. When they got done with their snack, they all got to their stations, RainbowDash flew up to the crow’s nest to keep a sharp eye out for either danger or their destination, Rarity took on the rigging, Princess Twilight kept an eye on the map, mostly so she had something to read and Applejack took over the canons for their defense just in case they had an attack by something and Fluttershy was assigned as a negotiator since she was good with animals she could make things easy for any creatures that attack, and as for Pinkie Pie, she decided to assign herself to entertainment Kahmey doesn’t know why but she did.
(Do you see anything RainbowDash?) Kahmey asked (Nothing but ocean.) RainbowDash replied (Kahmey, would you like a balloon?) Pinkie Pie asked (No, thank you though.) said Kahmey. (Kahmey how fast do you think we could get this ship to go?) Rarity asked (I’m not sure but you can find out. Open the canvas up a little bit more and maybe we can get a little bit more speed.) Kahmey replied (Alright.) Rarity replied (Ship! There's a ship to the left.) said RainbowDash (What are the colors?) Kahmey asked (Colors?) RainbowDash asked (What is the design on the flag?) Kahmey questioned (A skull with two swords.) RainbowDash replied (Pirates and I hear them yelling about bounty on board this vessel, they want our food supplies. Applejack, ready on the canons, we must fight.) Kahmey said readying his sword
The pirates got closer and had bow canons ready. Applejack had five canons ready on the Silent Mary.
(Applejack aim at the ship below water line and they will go down quicker.) said Kahmey (Can do.) Applejack replied
(Make ready. One, two, three, fire.) said Kahmey
Applejack fired the canon and saw, wood float up to the surface as the ship took a dive right down into the sea.
Rarity opened the sail some more and the silent mary started picking up speed. Kahmey knew of a way that they could get the ship to go faster. (Hey RainbowDash, could you fly up behind that big sail closest to the front, it has a bird on the front of it.?) Kahmey asked (Yeah, what do you want me to do?) RainbowDash replied (Flap your wings at it. I’m sure we can get this ship to go faster if you give that sail some extra wind.) said Kahmey (Alright, can do.)
RainbowDash went up to the sail and started flapping her wings, with the breeze RainbowDash produced the silent mary started going a lot faster. (Oh yeah, now we’re going.) said Kahmey
They sailed until it was dark, then the six ponies all went below deck to get some sleep while Kahmey stayed awake to steer the ship. It was very tiring, but he knew he had to stay up.
He stayed up all night sailing the ship to his home island, when morning came he looked at his map to see if there were any islands around that would have supplies and he was successful. So Kahmey steered towards the island. When he got near it he lowered the long boat and made port so he could get some fruit.
Kahmey got three baskets of fruit and got back to the ship so he could serve the fruit as breakfast to his friends. When he got back on board the mary he was greeted by three of his friends.
(Good morning Kahmey, is that our breakfast.?) Applejack asked (Yes Applejack. I don’t have anything on board that I could use to make the usual, so I brought back some oranges, apples and a few bundles of grapes for some grape juice. I also have some grapefruits and pawpaws.) Kahmey replied pulling the baskets on board and presenting them. (Looks good, but what are pawpaws.?) Rarity asked (Pawpaws are large fruits, similar to gourds but are a fruit that are really sweet like custard and bananas, mangos and cantaloupes.) Kahmey explained (OOOO sounds tasty, I absolutely love custard, bananas, mangos and cantaloupe, they’re my favorite snacks, now there’s a fruit that has them all at one, I can’t wait to have some of those pawpaws.) said Pinkie in max excitement (Well Pinkie Pie you will soon be eating some of them.) Kahmey replied
Pinkie’s excitement woke up the rest of the ponies below deck. They came up on deck and saw the baskets of mixed fruits and were ready for breakfast. They sat down at the table that Kahmey brought out of the cargo hold and had their breakfast and got right to work. Kahmey put Applejack on the wheel so he could get some rest before they got to his island. Kahmey went to the captain’s quarters and took a nap.
A few hours later Kahmey was rested enough to get back on the wheel, so he relieved Applejack from the wheel and did the rest of the steering. (Anything else you need me to do Kahmey?) Applejack asked (Not currently, you can just go sit down if you want.) Kahmey replied
They eventually heard RainbowDash call out to them. (I see land covered in ice and snow.) said RainbowDash
Kahmey looked over and saw the land. (That’s my home island.) said Kahmey turning towards the island. Princess Twilight got her spell ready to start the fire of friendship.
When they got close to the island, Applejack, RainbowDash and Princess Twilight weighed the anchor and they all got into boats then made their way to the island. Princess Twilight began using her magic to clear the ice on the water so that they could get to the island’s beach.
(So how are we gonna thaw out this island again Twilight?) RainbowDash asked (Well we have to get to the center of the island and there I can light the fire of friendship.) Princess Twilight replied (But it’s freezing here.) RainbowDash replied. (Luckily I brought scarves and coats for all of us.) said Rarity (My question is how is Kahmey not freezing?) Applejack asked (My fur is very thick Applejack.) Kahmey said answering Applejack’s question. (So where do we go to get to the center of this island?) Princess Twilight asked (That tall mountain is in the very center of this place.) Kahmey replied. (Well let’s get a move on, I’m freezing.) RainbowDash complained.
Kahmey's Home Island chapter 3
They began their journey to the center of the island so that Princess Twilight could light the fire of friendship and release the island from it’s frozen jacket. They noticed all of the ice blocks and the devil dogs contained within them. (Um, Kahmey, is there a reason why all of these other devil dogs are black coated and you are white coated?) Princess Twilight asked (Yeah only one will have white fur in one clan.) Kahmey replied. (But how is that?) Princess Twilight asked (I don’t know, I never was able to find that out. Though I was gonna ask my father why that was, but the wendigos attacked before I got the chance. There he is right over there.) Kahmey replied. Princess Twilight looked at the frozen canine and shed tears at the sight of the poor dog. (Oh Kahmey I’m sorry. But we have to stay strong if we’re gonna set this island free.) Princess Twilight said still in tears (Okay, well let’s follow the trail to the mountain.) said Kahmey pointing towards the trail with fence lining the side.
When they got into the trail Kahmey heard the well known sound of a wendigo vocalizing it’s presence. (We must be on full alert.) said Kahmey (Why, what’s going on?) RainbowDash asked
(The wendigo’s, I hear them.) Kahmey replied (I can handle them, no problem.) said
RainbowDash (I wouldn’t do that if I were you Rainbow, those creatures are not affected by bucking and punching. We will just have to keep out of their sight until we get to the top of the mountain, also no arguing, they will instantly sense it and become aware of our presence, we have to stay low if we see them. Did everypony catch all that?) said Kahmey (Yes.) said the six of them.
They got to the base of the mountain but the easiest way was blocked by wendigos. They noticed that the wendigos blocking the way were ready to freeze anyone they see. So the six ponies thought they were at a dead end, until Kahmey told them of another way to the top of the mountain.
(There is another path that we can take to get to the top of this mountain.) said Kahmey (Where is it?) Princess Twilight asked in an excited tone (Over here, follow me.) said Kahmey as he pointed to a cave of stairs. (That’s a lot of stairs, we will be way too tired to do anything when we get to the top.) Rarity complained (Trust me, it’s less than you think Rarity, now let’s get moving so we can give these creatures a taste of that fire of friendship.) Kahmey reassured Rarity
They began climbing the stairs to the top of the mountain. They got to the top and Princess Twilight got into position to light the fire. But they didn’t get there unnoticed. They saw three wendigos running on air towards them.
Kahmey's Home Island chapter 4 the final
Kahmey thought very quick to remember what his father said the wendigo’s weakness was.
He thought for five seconds and remembered. (Hey girls I know it’s a bit too close to freezing but I wanted to say, I love you all.) said Kahmey. He notice the wendigos start to panic and asked them for a group hug before they got frozen into ice. They all got together into one big hug as the ice started to cover them.
(I love you to Kahmey.) said RainbowDash
(Same here, I’m sorry I was afraid of you when I first saw you Kahmey.) Fluttershy said with an apology
(I guess what we all have to say is we all love you as well Kahmey.) said Rarity
They all had love to give to Kahmey in return just before the ice completely covered them all.
But in that moment of victory for the wendigos, it happened. The ice broke with a loud shatter and Princess Twilight’s horn gave off a large blast of purple fire. The fire went straight for the wendigos, burning their wretched icey skin and causing them to melt and evaporate into the clouds above.
Then Kahmey and the six ponies went back down to where all the other devil dogs were and sat down at a table then talked to each other, telling stories and sharing songs. The love and friendship kept the fire of friendship at the top of the mountain going for quite a time. The kindness eventually reached the other devil dogs as well, warming their hearts and restoring peace to the entire island.
(Kahmey, how did you do it? How did you get rid of those infurnal wendigos?) Kahmey’s father asked (Well Dad, it wasn’t entirely me. I brought the ponies here so that they would be able to complete a friendship mission I also knew that with them I would have friends to make it possible. Princess Twilight over there was the one responsible for the fire of friendship in the center of Kintinik.) Kahmey replied (Well son, it may not have been just you, or you responsible for thawing out Kintinik but at least now peace is restored and we have guests for the victory party.) said Kahmey’s father (Did I hear someone say party?) Pinkie asked (Yes mam. Miss?) Kahmey’s father replied (Oh my name is Pinkie Pie and I love parties and I also love to throw parties.) said Pinkie Pie (Well my name is Dranikahn, also why don’t you be in charge of throwing this party since you love throwing parties so much.) said Dranikahn
So Pinkie Pie threw the victory party for the devil dogs and they all had a wild ride of a party.
When the party ended Kahmey and the six ponies got back on the Silent Mary and went back to Equestria
Our good friend Kahmey the devil dog had just fallen asleep and when that happened he was greeted by nothing but terror. (It’s my home island.) said Kahmey. That’s when it bombarded with nothing but ice, snow and blistering winds.
(AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!) Kahmey yelled. (That’s enough!) a familiar voice called out. That’s when the winds and freezing ice and snow went away. (Hello Kahmey.) the voice said. It was Princess Luna. (Princess Luna? Is that really you?) Kahmey asked (Yes Kahmey.) Princess Luna confirmed (But why are you here? I thought your duties were in Canterlot.) Kahmey asked (My duty is to go into dreams and fight nightmares.) Princess Luna stated (Oh. Well I am very thankful.) said Kahmey (You’re welcome. Unfortunately, when you awaken your nightmare will not be over. The things you’ve seen will still remain.) Princess Luna stated. Kahmey thought about what the Princess said and had an answer. (So I should go and unfreeze my home island.) Kahmey asked (I don’t know about that but it would be a good idea.) Princess Luna replied.
So Princess Luna retracted and Kahmey woke up. Kahmey got some bags together and got his flying boots ready. When he got everything ready morning had came. He went to the coffee shop and got his usual. When he sat down in his booth of choice he was greeted by his six friends. (Hello Kahmey. What’s with the bags?) Princess Twilight asked. (I’m going to my home island so I can attempt to unfreeze it.) Kahmey replied. (Well wendigo magic is not easy to destroy.) Princess Twilight replied. (Well I need to try.) Kahmey replied. (Maybe we can go with you. We have a friendship problem to solve on an island that we have to go to using a ship since there’s no train tracks going to it.) said Applejack. (Well you can join me on the Silent Mary. I can drop you off at your destination and make my way to my island.) said Kahmey
(Sounds good to me.) Princess Twilight agreed
So Kahmey and the six ponies went to Equestrian Harbor and boarded the ship and Applejack hoisted the anchor and the seven of them set sail. Kahmey pulled out his map and charted the course. Kahmey marked his destination. Applejack walked up and saw where Kahmey was headed (Kahmey how did you know where we were going?) Applejack asked (Oh this is my home island. Wait what do you mean, where y’all were going?) Kahmey replied (That island is our destination, Twilight’s friendship map marked it.) said Applejack. (So your map marked my island as your destination?) Kahmey asked (Apparently so.) Applejack replied. (Wait a minute so we’re all going to Kahmey’s home island?) Princess Twilight asked (Yeah, if your map marked this place as your destination then we’re all going to the same place.) said Kahmey.
So they all sailed for Kahmey’s home island. They had no idea what they would soon be facing, but they continued their journey. They had a long way to go so Kahmey decided to stop by an island that he knew had a very good supply of food and fresh water.
