Octavia sat on her bed. It was the middle of the night, why was she awake? All she knew was that she had the sudden urge to play the cello. She walked down stairs, and into her music room. She sat on the wooden stool and opened her cello case. But before she picked up her insterment, she took a second  to admire her clean-neatly kept lavender room. She slowly picked up her cello and began to play. She played a soft lullaby-like tune. She didn’t want  to wake up her neighbors. After 2 hours of playing her cello she decided to go back to sleep. She didn’t wake up until 10:30 am. Which was late for Octavia. When she came down stairs she remember that she had to go pick up her dress for her cello recital form carousel boutique. Octavia quickly gathered her cello and briefcase and hurried down to the train station. Just in time for the train  to ponyville. On her way to ponyville she thought about stopping by the library to pick up some Cd’s.

The train station was bustling with all different ponies. It wasn’t too busy for a Sunday afternoon but she had no time to waste. Octavia headed straight to carousel boutique. Octavia walked inside as a bell rang.

A white pony with a rather stylish purple mane cam up to Octavia.

“Why hello, I am rarity, you must be Octavia, the musician from canterlot.”

“why yes, I am, I’m actually here to pick up a dress for a cello recital.” aid Octavia

“of course!”  said rarity “follow me.”

Octavia followed rarity into a room with dresses on racks that had tags with numbers on them.

Rarity looked through a few dress is and pulled out a purple and white dress with a tie and a dark grey treble clef on the side.

“ thank you very much.” said Octavia.

“my pleaseaure.” said rarity

On Octavia’s way to the library he stopped at a sign. The sign said

“ manehatten orcrastra auditions”

she stared at the sign, thoughts were bouncing through her mind, what should she do?

Octavia decided not to stop at the library, but to go to manehatten.
