Rainbow Dash and Applejack are, without question, the most competitive girls among their group friends. There's basically nothing that they wouldn't be willing to make into some sort of contest between them. Who can lift the most, who can cross the finish line first, and so on. But one day, on the beach, away from prying eyes, they decide to see who'll be the first to cross an unconventional finish line.
