On a silent night two ponies could be seen gathered by a campfire, with smiles on their faces and with fire shining and brighting their eyes. Trixie had everything stored in her stagecoach, her magic tricks, cards, bunnies and all that she needed to perform her great and powerful tricks, always up her sleeve. Along with her new friend Starlight Glimmer they've been on many awesome adventures that nopony has ever been to, fighting mistical creatures, visiting places that nopony has ever visited, having fun with their spells and showing off on the stage. Somepony should write a book about these two, a book that will become a best-seller and each pony in Equestria will read it. But sadly no one even know that these two even exist, except for Princess Twilight, Celestia and Spike.

Trixie was looking at the campfire, while Starlight was looking around to spot an owl and admire how cute that owl is. The moon was shining on the sky and animals were playing in the woods, trying to find something to snack on to soothe the hunger. Starlight, she was happy that she have found a friend that she can trust, whilst Trixe had someone to talk to, after all those years she was talking to herself.

''Trixie?'' Starlight spoke out.

''Yes?'' Trixie replied, turning around to see Starlight.

''Are you happy that you've got someone that you can talk to, that you can spent your free time with?'' Starlight asked, a sweet smile appeared on her face.

''What, of course I am, after those years I finally have someone who don't ignore Me, or telling Me that I'm not welcomed here.'' said Trixie. ''I'm happy, because I've got you, Starlight.'' she smiled and placed her hoof on her shoulder.

''I'm glad to hear that.'' Starlight replied with a sign of relief. ''Best friends forever, right Trixie?''

''Forever.'' said Trixie and winked at her friend.

''Starlight, can you tell Me about your past, you don't have to if you don't want.'' Trixie said, turning her head back staring at the fire.

''Well I was a leader of one town, named 'Our Town', it was a town with ponies who've had no cutie mark, just an equal one. They give up their own cutie marks.'' Starlight said.

''How?'' Trixie asked, she was very curious.

''With an magical artifact called, Staff of Sameness, but I've had my cutie mark hidden under the equal one.'' Starlight replied.

''Woah...did someone find that out?'' Trixie asked and Starlight nodded.

''I wanted to spread the message about equality all over Equestria, using Twilight and her friends.'' Starlight said, thinking about this made her sick. ''And yes, someone find it out.''

''What then?'' Trixie said, curious like the mouse.

''I tried to leave with Twilight's and her friends cutie marks but I was thwarted by my own followers.'' Starlight said. ''Which means my 'utopia' collapsed.''

''So they lost their faith in you?'' Trixie asked, looking at the moon. Starlight slowly nodded, sighing.

''I ran away, so far away, where my hooves led Me.'' said Starlight, looking at Trixie. Great, now I know something more about her, thought Trixie.

''What about your past Trixie?'' Starlight asked, placing some wood to keep the fire burning.

''Well, I was doing shows, like magical shows that I'm still doing to this day, with a great assistant like you of course.''
Trixie said with joy. Thank you, Starlight thought to herself.

''Tell Me more.'' said Starlight.

''I used to work at the rock farm, to earn some gold for this stagecoach.'' said Trixie and pointed at her very old stagecoach. ''I was wandering around villages until I've found a magical Alicorn Amulet that I wanted to use to take revenge on Princess Twilight in a duel.''

''So I defeated her and banished her from Ponyville.'' Trixie said.

''Then what?'' asked Starlight.

''Starlight you ask too much.'' Trixie said, smiling at her friend. Starlight decided to stop asking different questions about their past, she needed to focus on the future.

''So what we gonna do tomorrow?'' Starlight asked.

''Tomorrow we'll probably learn some new tricks and also I want to try a new cake recipe.'' said Trixie.

''Cake recipe?'' Starlight asked. If someone is talking about cakes, she's always there.

''Yes, my favourite flavour is strawberry.'' Trixie said. ''Yours?''

''Mine too!'' Starlight replied smiling happily, her heart skipped few beats in excitement.

''That new recipe I wanna try is cherry cake.'' said Trixie.

''Yummy, I can't wait.'' replied Starlight and giggled. Trixie did the same.

The fire was fading out and They both decided it's time to sleep, in their stagecoach. Trixie let the fire to burn remaining pieces of wood and walked along with Starlight to the stagecoach. Trixie closed the door behind them and happily walked to her bed, ready to sleep. Starlight took a book that contained history about different pony magicians and witches, reading it. Trixie wasn't snoring, unlike Starlight, although Starlight find sleeping Trixie really cute. Starlight smiled at her friend and continued reading. Owls were echoing through the forest filling the room of the stagecoach with their sound.

''Trixie….is….great and.....powerful.'' said Trixie in her sleep.

''Of course you are, Trixie.'' whispered Starlight.

''Trixie….got a great new friend.'' Trixie said again, making Starlight heart beat a little faster and she was tearing up a little.

Starlight closed the book, marking the chapter where she ended. She walked to her bed, covered herself under a comfy, warm blanket. Suddenly Trixie woke up and stood on her hooves from her bed. Starlight noticed that and looked at her.

''Can Trixie sleep in your bed and give you great and powerful snuggle and hug?'' she asked drowsily. Starlight couldn't believe what she is hearing from her best friend, but she accepted it.

''Of course, you can Trixie.'' she said sweetly and smiled. Trixie clam up on the bed, snuggling closer to her.

''Best friends.'' Trixie started.

''Forever.'' Starlight finished the sentence. She fell asleep, hugging her best friend and dreamed about cakes.

They both knew if something will stay in their path, they will find a way to overcome it. They both knew that there is nothing much stronger in the world than friendship and they both were ready for some more adventures.
Because they are best friends, right?
