At long last, after a year of struggles, discovering new programs and dealing with some major issues for the first time, I have returned! This chapter has been overdue for far too long, and now everyone will finally get to see how things play out at last.
I plan to keep focusing on this story for the time being, as Source Film Maker consumes too much of my time, and all my ideas for Youtube videos are done for the moment. Now that I'm back in the saddle, I can pick up where I left off and keep this story.
Glad to be back everyone, and enjoy the chapter.
The Awakening
"Now Rexy, let's see if we can help take some of this tension out of your tired bones," Rainbow said as she helped Tyrannosaurus into the tub.
She had a hunch that a soothing bath would help T-Rex relax in the same way that it helped Indominus back when he was struggling with his inner demons. Scootaloo kept her eyes downcast from Rexy, unable to accept the fact that her fascination with Rumble had brought a broken leg upon one of the dinosaurs that had saved her life. The great dinosaur breathed a heavy sigh as the warm water washed over his body and he settled into the tub.
"So, this is what it felt like when you and Indominus shared the water together?"
"That's right. Now you just relax and tell us what happened out there."
Rainbow gently stroked his face as Tyrannosaurus spoke slowly about what he'd heard Rumble say, and what the colt had the gall to say to him about his aging body. She was appalled that a colt had the nerve to speak to a guardian in such a horrid manner. It was almost like how Scootaloo was treated by Diamond Tiara when she was a filly. Only this time Rexy was the one being harassed, and Scootaloo was being indecisive about who she should stand by. When T-Rex brought up the liability bit, Rainbow was astounded that Indoraptor had been the one who mainly defended him while Scootaloo had been carefully switching between sides.
"Sounds like Rumble has gotten too full of himself," Rainbow said.
"But he was right about today; I finally messed up on my kill and broke my leg in the end. My days as a hunter and a guardian might as well be numbered."
Rainbow flew up into his face and stared the dinosaur right in the eye.
"Your days are not numbered, Rexy. You've been alive longer than any of us, you've fought monstrous dragons countless times and even held your own against the Wonderbolts at their absolute worst. You still have the fire and the strength to be a strong guardian. Sure you missed your kill, but everypony messes up at least once in their life. Believe me, I messed up plenty of times trying to get into the Wonderbolts, but that never stopped me from trying."
"But Rainbow, it's not that I can't try, it's that I'm getting older and my body is getting weaker. You're right saying I've been alive longer than most of the creatures in this world, but that also works against me. I've seen how much bigger Indominus has become, and how much stronger he's gotten, while I've stayed the same."
Tyrannosaurus turned his head away from Rainbow in shame. She was shocked that he was talking like he'd already accepted that he would never be strong or reliable again.
"I don't have the power of a Worldbreaker. I can't pull Equestria back together, I can't even stop a filly from taking away the pony I love most."
That caused a cold strike to go through Scootaloo's heart. It had been a long time since she'd heard Tyrannosaurus say how much he loved her. It was a cold reminder that she had someone in her life that had always loved and looked after her since the start of her journey, and her fascination with some colt had made her forget about T-Rex's devotion. Now she'd unintentionally let Rumble get inside Rexy's head and he had been shaken and hurt by it. She wanted to comfort him, but she didn't have the words to help because Scootaloo was finally understanding how much her actions had hurt her guardian.
"Then we'll just have to improve you, make you stronger and better, so you'll feel like your old self again," said Rainbow.
"You can do that?" Rexy said as he turned his head back towards Rainbow Dash with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
"Tyrannosaurus, everypony can always improve and get better. I became the flyer I am because I practiced and improved my skills over time. We've all faced impossible odds, life-threatening dangers and most of us have been on the brink of death and back. Getting you stronger and more athletic is nothing compared to everything we've been through."
The lizard king nestled his head against Rainbow Dash's chest. She gently stroked his snout while listening to the sound of his breaths calming down and relaxing. She knew it was going to take some serious work to get a dinosaur into shape, but she'd never broken a promise to anypony in her life, and she wasn't about to start with a member of her own family.
"I promise Rexy, I'll get you back into shape so fast you'll be running down Manticores again before you know it."
"You really think so, Rainbow Dash?"
"I know so. Now you just relax in here for a while, and when you're feeling better, we'll get you some dinner," Rainbow said as she gently stroked Rexy's face with her wing.
The dinosaur felt his eyes slowly closing from the gentle caress of Rainbow's feathers. Soon enough, his breathing calmed down to an easy pace and he slumped into the water sound asleep. Rainbow quietly led Scootaloo out of the bathroom so she could get the stallion issue straightened out at last.
"Scootaloo, this game of switching between Rexy and these stallions has to stop," Rainbow said sternly.
"But Mom, I didn't do anything wrong. I mean, Rumble did try to talk down to Rexy today, but I stood by him and defended him."
"That's the problem, Scootaloo. You think you're defending him, but clearly Rumble's words have been getting to him. Blue told me that she found him with a broken leg in the Everfree Forest, apparently what Rumble said to him got into his head, made him lose his focus and caused him to break his leg while trying to run down a Manticore."
"No. H-He couldn't have gotten to Rexy like that."
"He already has, Scootaloo. Your new colt may not be able to attack T-Rex physically, but words can affect somepony just as badly. You should understand that, you went through it yourself before we stopped your parents."
"I know! I've been reminded plenty of times, I don't need to be told again!"
"Then why are you stringing Rexy along while you keep having these fleeting moments with a colt who only wants to use you?"
"You don't know anything about him, Rainbow Dash! How could you possibly know what it's like to fall in love with somepony when you've only had eyes for Indominus?"
"Because I've been with stallions that tried to use me before!"
Rainbow's shout caused an uneasy silence to hang throughout the castle. Scootaloo stood breathless, amazed and shocked at the same time. She'd spent an immeasurable amount of time with Rainbow Dash over the years, especially where her former parents were concerned. She'd confided in her about all of her pain and turmoil, but she had never heard Rainbow bring up any trauma from her past. It was an eye-opener that had never been talked about before, but for the first time in years, it was one that Scootaloo needed to hear.
"Y-You're serious? You had stallions that tried to use you, not love you?"
Scootaloo could see the tough expression in Rainbow's face becoming soft and vulnerable. It was a topic she wished that she would never have to tell Scootaloo about, but she didn't want her adopted daughter to make the same kind of mistakes she nearly made.
"He wasn't the first one I ever loved, Scootaloo. There were stallions other than Soarin that had eyes for me, and to be fair, I may have had eyes for some of them too. It was young love, I didn't know any better at the time, thought I could be with any stallion that could keep up with me. A few of them were able to keep up and impress me enough that I brought them home to meet my folks. But I didn't realize that they only wanted me around for personal gain."
"Why? What did they do to you?"
"There was one stallion, who was a bit like Soarin, only he had a little more muscle to him. He seemed nice enough and like a cool stallion to be around, so I took him home after I spent a decent amount of time with him. Things went pretty smooth and my parents took a liking to him as well. For a while he seemed like a keeper, but it was after the visit was over that his true nature came out. He tried to force me to mate with him, so he could use it against me as personal gain and make himself out to be an entitled stallion."
What felt like an absolute chill of dread coursed through Scootaloo's body.
"He....tried to make you MATE WITH HIM!?"
"That animal pinned me against a wall when I let my guard down, he mounted me and tried to.....um.....'penetrate' me. He got really close to getting what he wanted, but I stopped him dead in his tracks."
"How did you stop him?"
"I dealt him a kick right to the spot on a stallion where the sun don't shine. Then while he was down and unable to get his hooves on me, I beat his sorry hide until I slapped the sense into his tiny brain."
"So that's where that line came from," Scootaloo said as she remembered Rainbow using that line on her former mother.
"Yep, that's where it came from, kiddo. One of my proudest moments and where I showed that I wouldn't let any stallion dominate me or use me again. And it's also why I don't want you to get yourself caught in a similar situation, Scootaloo. I'm worried that Rumble might try doing to you what those stallions tried to do to me."
"But he hasn't many any kind of moves towards me. All we've been doing so far is just hanging out, playing games with his friends, normal stuff."
"Most of the stallions I hung out with were around his age, Scootaloo. They did activities similar to what he and his pals are doing, it was a way to get me to lower my guard long enough for them to make their move. He might be trying to do the same thing with you."
"But.....ugh...I just don't know, Rainbow. There's part of me that wants to be with him, but I also want to stay with Rexy. They've both made me happier than I've ever been, just like what you and your friends did to save me from my parents. Isn't there some way I could have both of them in my life?"
"I can't tell you what to do, Scootaloo, you're old enough to make your own decisions. But I can tell you this, based on everything you've told me, it sounds like Rumble might be trying to drive Tyrannosaurus away from you so he can have you all to himself. His injury tonight could be proof that it might be working, and it isn't fair to string him along like this while you have fun with Rumble. At some point, you'll have to make a decision on who you want to be with, and it may hurt for a while, but your heart will help you make the right choice."
Rainbow gave her a small kiss on the forehead and Scootaloo hugged her back, glad that she wasn't cruel like Spoiled Rotten had been. Scootaloo went back towards the bathroom and Rainbow watched silently from a distance. Scootaloo walked towards Rexy, who was still sound asleep in the warm water, and looked over his aged and scared body. The numerous scars and marks that riddled his scales were a constant reminder of all the battles he had fought, and the monsters he had killed, all for her. Everything Tyrannosaurus had ever done in Equestria had always been for Scootaloo, and that was something Rumble hadn't been able to live up to yet.
"Rexy.....I'm sorry that I haven't been a very grateful girlfriend to you. It's just.....I get to do things with Rumble that you can't. I know you don't want to spend your time maneuvering around tight spaces even in your smaller state, or going to watch other ponies do stunts. They're just things I love doing, and I thought you wouldn't be interested. I will try to make things right, but there's one thing that will never change, Rexy. I always have and still do love you."
Scootaloo pressed her lips against Rexy's cheek and she didn't pull away for a full minute. Rainbow watched the sweet moment from outside the door and could swear she saw a smile forming on Rexy's face.
"I'll try to do better, Rexy, and you won't be alone, I promise," Scootaloo said before she left the bathroom.
Rainbow waited until Scootaloo was out of earshot before she entered the room. She flew in, stroked Rexy's face with a wing and asked him a simple question.
"How much of that did you hear and feel?"
"Enough," Rexy said as he opened one eye and stared back at Rainbow.
"You and Indominus definitely share a few qualities with each other," Rainbow said smugly.
"I picked up a few tricks from him over the years. Rainbow, are all relationships complicated?"
"You have no idea, Rexy. Nothing in this world is ever easy, but it does get better with time. Now let's get you out of the tub and find you some grub."
"Nice rhyme," T-Rex said as Rainbow helped him out of the tub and began drying his scales.
He had some new confirmation and new hope in his heart. The rest depended on him trusting Rainbow and Scootaloo's word, and having the will to follow through with their trust.
"That was the most fun I've had in ages, Indominus!" Blackjack said while chugging down jugs of drinks.
"Glad you liked it so much, Blackjack. But I'm not the one you should be thanking. Discord's the one who put together the castle, the monsters, and even this bar."
"I can't thank you enough for having a bar like this, Discord. It's a bit more extreme just like you said, but I still love it." Blackjack said while gesturing to the numerous monsters that accompanied them.
When they arrived at the bar, Blackjack was ready to throw down and kill. But Discord and Indominus had assured her that they weren't a threat, and were good friends. It took some convincing, but after some refreshing drinks, Blackjack had mellowed down and was completely chill with their company.
"It's my pleasure, miss Blackjack. I've never seen anypony take to my bar so well. Did you really have bars like this where you grew up?"
"Back in the Wasteland, every stable had their own form of a bar. Some were better than others, and they all had mares that were more than ready to give you a good time."
Discord spit out his chocolate milk and looked at the cyber-mare in complete amazement.
"Did you say mares!? You mean to tell me that you went out on dates with stallions, and mares?"
"Heh heh...I had a reputation for being more reckless and intense than any other pony in my stable. Back then, as long as your relationship didn't get in the way of your job, anypony was fair game. I was just a lot more straightforward with what I wanted, and not so subtle."
"Wow, I'm learning more about you every day, Blackjack. You could certainly give Rainbow Dash a run for her money, and I know how hot and aggressive she gets at night."
"Oh really? How hot does she get?"
"Like WorldBreaker hot. Once on a cruise we were gifted with, we spent so much time in our WorldBreaker states that our whole room was filled with steam. Poor Applejack ended up walking in on us when we were still 'connected.'"
"Damn, if you two weren't married I would've loved to try that for myself."
"Were you always like this, Blackjack? I've never heard anypony talk about anything so....intimate before, and I've been around for hundreds of millennia," said Discord, still unable to comprehend how Blackjack could talk so casually about doing things with any kind of pony.
"What can I say? I didn't have a filter back then, and I don't have one now."
"I can see why my son is so attached to you."
"Really? But I've told him that I'm not some pony that's worth going after."
"Well from what I've seen, you definitely seem like a pony that he would do anything for. He's already done so much for you, and just so he could make you smile."
"Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate what he and all of you have done for me. It's the sweetest care and attention I've ever had, but when he finds out what I did in the past, I don't think he'll want to be around me. It would break his heart just like everything else that's hurt him.
"What do you mean, 'everything else?'"
"You know, finding out about his condition, what some selfish mares did to him, this would take away any happiness he's had."
"He told you?" Discord asked.
"That night when we saw Viper in that fire and stopped those hybrids. When he told me about what those mares had done to him, he looked so hurt and sad. I wish I could do something for him."
"What would you want to do for him?"
"I.....I'd like to make him genuinely happy, and see him smile. It'd be worth it to see him enjoying himself, after all that he's done for me."
Indominus could see the uncertainty in her eyes, and how badly she wanted to make Indoraptor happy. But Indominus had seen much more than Blackjack had, and he knew that she was doing more than she thought.
"Come on, Blackjack, there's something you need to know."
Indominus walked out of the bar with Blackjack and Discord following behind him. Discord thanked his monster patrons for being cooperative as he headed outside. Indominus took Blackjack on a stroll through Ponyville, so he could talk with her in peace and find out what Indoraptor meant to her.
"Let me ask you something, Blackjack. Do you really think Indoraptor's life has been so miserable that he hasn't had one ounce of happiness?"
"But he said that he only had til his eleventh birthday before the disease killed him. I thought he wouldn't find any happiness with that fate hanging over his head."
"Is that what you think? Then you're in for a real twist, girl," said Discord as he hovered alongside Indominus.
"You're right about a few things, Blackjack. What those mares did to Indoraptor messed with his body and mind, and finding out about the disease broke his heart. When he learned the truth he ran away from home and didn't return for weeks. I couldn't just drag him back here and expect things to work out, he needed to come to terms with the disease on his own."
"Weren't you worried about him in all that time?"
"Oh believe me, Blackjack. I worried about him every night that he was gone. I wanted him to come back just as much as Rainbow did, but I wouldn't know what to tell him. The doctors never found an answer to his condition, and no kind of cure has been made either. He has been through his fair share of hardships, but running away actually did bring some happiness into his life."
Blackjack's eyes lifted until she was staring into Indominus's and seeing the unwavering glow of his eyes. Discord had a camcorder waiting at the sides, anxious for the reaction that he was anticipating to see on Blackjack's face when she learned a new truth.
"It turned out my son had found himself with a group of bat ponies. They took care of him while he was away and even helped him come to terms with the disease. That knowledge and care has helped Indoraptor to focus on not the disease, but everything that he cares about."
"Then why did he snap at me and look so upset when he told me this?"
"Because Blackjack, you're the pony he cares about the most. Indoraptor has met a lot of ponies that have been so kind to him, and I'm sure he felt safe being looked after by the bat ponies, but none of them have made such an impression on him the way you have. Yes, Indoraptor has had a lot of fun times lately, hunting alongside us and being accepted by Ponyville. But spending that time with you, I've never seen my son so happy."
Blackjack was speechless at the revelation, she never imagined that she'd mean so much to anypony in her life. Yet Indominus was beyond a shadow of a doubt sure that she meant the world to Indoraptor. Discord couldn't help but chuckle a little at her wide eyes and open jaw, it was an expression he'd seen on many ponies that were love struck with any of the dinosaurs.
"The pony that has made Indoraptor's life the best he's ever had, is you. You've fought alongside him, defended him and even cheered him up when he was upset. But do you know what makes you stand out from all the other mares, Blackjack?"
"Is it these metal parts?"
"No. It's the fact that you've stood by him and trusted him since he brought you into the castle. Despite everything that's happened, you haven't left him, abused or abandoned him in any way. He sees you as a pony who is more than worthwhile, somepony he'd want to share his life experiences with, and above all else, he loves you."
"B....B....B...But I can't be loved by anypony, Indominus. I'm a danger to everypony that gets involved with me! Everywhere I went in the Wasteland I've caused nothing but grief and pain to any pony that happened to be there! I'm a monster that just causes death and misery wherever I go!"
Blackjack was going on so much that she didn't notice that none of it was phasing Indominus or Discord. The hybrid stared at her with a soft gaze in his eyes, knowing all too well that he had done far worse things than Blackjack could possibly have done. He put a finger to her mouth to stop her from going too deep and digging into a more personal subject, and spoke very gently to her.
"Blackjack, I've slaughtered ponies in cold blood, our family tortured Scootaloo's former parents before they were imprisoned in stone. I almost killed my wife back when I lost control of the Immortal Phoenix. Believe me, there's nothing you've done that could be more horrible and tragic than all the pain I've caused."
Blackjack looked over at Discord, hoping the Lord of Chaos would tell him that the hybrid dinosaur was just trying to make her feel better. But Discord had the same somber expression on his face.
"It's true, Blackjack. I was there for most of the tragedy he went through. Take a look and see for yourself."
Discord conjured up several orbs of light and expanded them in front of Blackjack. The orbs grew into memories of Indominus's past ordeal with the Wonderbolts, how he almost lost Rainbow Dash, and the inner struggle he had faced with his inner devil. The cyber-mare couldn't believe her eyes at how enraged Indominus was when he fought the Wonderbolts, and was horrified when she saw the twisted anger in his eyes as he tore some of them to bloody shreds. In the other memories it was almost the same: his anger had consumed him and he was lashing out at everything in sight.
"You really did all this?" Blackjack asked.
"I'm afraid so. What they did back then, really got under my skin. It turned me into that monster of rage, and the beast within only made it worse."
Discord pulled up the memory of Indominus's final confrontation with his inner devil.
"That vile animal was what took over and clouded Indominus's mind. It made him lash out at his family, me, and especially Rainbow Dash," said Discord as he pulled up the one memory Indominus hated to see.
The one where he was so close to killing Spitfire, until Rainbow intervened and got impaled through the chest. Blackjack's eyes shrunk and her breathing nearly stopped when she saw that. She didn't think that a creature as caring as Indominus could be capable of hurting the pony he loved most.
"When that happened, I thought there was no way I could redeem myself. I was sure that I'd driven her away and all of Equestria would see me as a monster."
"So what happened?"
"I got some ancient advice from Ra, beat my own devil thanks to everypony that stood by me, and most of all, I saved her life in the end. So trust me, Blackjack, regardless of what you've done, it won't make Indoraptor stop loving you."
"Do you really think so, Indominus?"
"Of course I do. My son chose well to have fallen for a beautiful mare like you. He's done so much to make you happy and more welcome here. He wouldn't go to such lengths for somepony if he didn't care deeply for them. Put your trust in him and see what happens."
"Ok Indominus, and thank you for helping me again."
"Like I've told you before, Blackjack, that's what families do."
Discord snapped his fingers and increased Blackjack's size til she was big enough for both of them to hug. Being held in their comforting embrace felt so soothing to Blackjack, it was something she still wasn't used to, but she still loved it.
"This has been one of the best nights of my life."
"Glad you loved our guys' night so much, Blackjack," said Discord.
"By the way, Indominus, do you know where Indoraptor is right now?"
Indominus lifted his head and used his thermal vision to try and locate his hybrid son. He noticed that everyone was still back at the castle, except for Indoraptor. He knew only one place that his son knew so well, and could navigate at night. The hybrid dinosaur scanned through the Everfree Forest, trying to see if his son was somewhere among the foliage. He did spot one heat signature within the thick greenery and based on how it moved on all fours and on its hind legs, it had to be Indoraptor.
"Looks like my son is out on a late night hunt in the Everfree Forest. You should be able to find him, and see for yourself what he thinks."
"Thanks, Indominus. I might have some ideas of what I can say to him, but first, mind if I have one for the road, Discord? I say more sexy things when I'm a little more drunk."
"I'll give you something special in that case," Discord said as he conjured up a rather large bottle that read 'Jack Daniels."
Blackjack chuckled at the ironic joke with the name of the bottle. She waved to Discord and Indominus and told him she'd see him back at the castle with Indoraptor before she walked towards the Everfree Forest.
"You think those two will be fine out in the forest on their own?"
"But they're not on their own, Discord. My son has friends in high places, I imagine they'd be fine if something tried to mess with them. Those bat ponies took care of my son and did pretty good, I have faith in them, and so should you. I mean, what kind of example would you set for Screwball and Fluttershy if they saw you like this? The great Lord of Chaos, terrified of a little forest? Hmph, some father," Indominus said sarcastically.
"What!? Me? Terrified? Do I look like a sucker to you?"
"Hey you said it not me," Indominus said as he walked past Discord.
"Oh that's really funny, Indominus. How about I pop off one of your horns and throw it across the town, then who's the sucker? Me or you?"
"My horns would just re-heal and grow back, so it wouldn't change anything!" Indominus said as he confidently strolled past Discord and back towards his home.
"Oh ho. Look who thinks he's the smartest creature in Equestria. I'll get one over on you one of these days, my hybrid compadre," Discord said as he followed after Indominus who had a smug grin on his face.
As the hybrids made their way to the castle, several pairs of eyes watched them from the shadows. Scorpion and her gang of ponies had been waiting for the right chance to get their revenge, and now they had an idea of where they could find Indoraptor.
"Finally, I thought that animal would never give us an opportunity," said Scorpion.
"And it's the perfect place to get his son where no one can hear him again," said Dear Darling.
"Don't be so sure, girls. We thought nopony would come to save him last time, and yet somehow somepony found out," said Swoon Song.
"That's where that half-metal freak of a pony comes in," said Scorpion. "He's been rather attached to her from what Indominus said. All we have to do is find her before she finds Indoraptor, paralyze her with my venom, get Indoraptor to come to her rescue, ambush him and paralyze him, then tear her apart in front of him. Watching her being slaughtered will crush him so hard he won't have the will to resist while we take our sweet time with him."
"Just as long as we do it in a deep enough part of the forest where nopony can hear him when he roars out," said Fond Feather.
"Exactly, Fond. Which is why we're going to take our time stalking her, and torturing them both. Now girls, let's move out. We can't let this opportunity get away or we might not get another chance."
The small army of mares made their way towards the forest, unaware that they were being observed themselves. Concealed under the guise of Sombra's magic, Sheer Cold, Spoiled Rotten were hiding in the shadows in-between a few houses with Neighsay close by.
"Are you really sure we need to be out here, Sombra? That many ponies should be able to handle one little hybrid."
"That 'little hybrid' nearly slaughtered two of our own, Sheer Cold. Who knows what he could do to all those ponies."
"Now don't sell them short just yet, Neighsay," Sombra said from within the shadows. "That pony with the unique looking tail was able to paralyze Indoraptor. She just might be able to pull this off if that little army can keep him preoccupied. I don't have faith in Cozy's plan, but it does have me intrigued. Just keep a close eye on the carnage tonight, and once you've confirmed that they're dead, let me know."
"With pleasure, Sombra. I've been looking forward to the day that I can finally see this monster kill somepony in cold blood, and get him locked away until he dies." Neighsay said gleefully.
"Glad to hear it. Now, stick to the shadows you three, and don't let them see you."
"Yes, Sombra," the three ponies said together as they creeped out of the shadows and followed after the mare army. Sombra disappeared from the shadows and back to his fortress, anticipating a blood bath to be told to him by morning.
"Oh why in Equestria did I think it was a good idea to look for him in this forest," Blackjack thought to herself as she wandered through the Everfree Forest with the bottle in her magic.
She never was known for making wise decisions back in her old danger-filled world, but wandering through a forest she knew nothing about while trying to find a hybrid dinosaur in the dead of night, was almost borderline insane. She'd been drinking the Jack Daniels to make her brain drunk enough to swoon Indoraptor with hot, alluring talk and gestures. But now she was drinking just to keep her nerves from getting carried away and to keep looking for Indoraptor. The forest could play tricks on anypony that was new to its environment, and Blackjack was one of the easiest to scare.
As Blackjack continued through the forest, she didn't know that there were different predators that were stalking her. Scorpion and the numerous mares had an easy time tracking her down by the sounds of her metal limbs as she trekked through the greenery. They split off in separate directions, circling around her while keeping themselves hidden until the moment was right. Once Scorpion knew that her army had Blackjack closed off and surrounded, she decided to let the cyber-mare know how trapped she really was. She motioned for Dear Darling to make her move, and the unicorn fired a magic blast at Blackjack.
She barely noticed the faint glow behind her and turned to see the attack heading for her. Instinctively, Blackjack raised her front hooves to defend herself and they absorbed the impact of the blast. She glared in the direction of where the blast had come from to see who had the gall to try and attack her.
"Alright, who shot at me? I've dealt with tons of ponies that have tried to kill me, and this is rather pathetic. So come on out and show yourself!!"
"Honestly I can't believe Indoraptor finds you attractive," Dear Darling said as she stepped out from behind the foliage.
"He must have the worst taste if he favors you over us," Swoon Song added.
"But it doesn't matter what you think, or what his preferences are," said Fond Feather.
"Because we're going to bring him here to finish what we started," said Scorpion.
Blackjack looked around and saw the army of mares crawling out of the forest like radscorpions.
"You've made a grave mistake, pitiful mare. We're the only ones who get to have Indoraptor and his children." That statement reminded Blackjack of something Indoraptor told her.
"So....you're the mares Indoraptor told me about?"
"Ah, our little sex slave still remembers us."
A telekinetic bullet grazed Scorpion's cheek as the last word escaped her mouth. Blackjack was seething and her eyes were glowing brighter shades of red and yellow.
"Ponies like you are the kind of scum that I utterly despise. You did those wretched things to him, and you still want more from him? You're going to wish you hadn't laid a hoof on him."
Blackjack ignited her horn and fired a powerful blast at Scorpion. The unicorn brought up a shield and blocked the attack easily. Before Blackjack could charge up another attack, the army of mares swarmed her and enveloped the cyber-mare. Blackjack was overwhelmed by the mares trying to force her to the ground and tried to ignite her horn again. She tried to remember what Twilight had taught her during their magic lessons and struggled to focus on teleporting out of the mass of bodies. It was harder for her to focus with every single pony pummeling her at once, but incredibly, Blackjack was able to teleport herself out of the pile of bodies.
But the teleport only succeeded in delaying the inevitable. For one thing, her teleport sent her slamming into bushes and left her dazed long enough for Scorpion to seize her in her magic. The cocky mare levitated Blackjack towards her until she was dangling in front of her, Dear Darling, Fond Feather, Swoon Song and their army.
"Well, this is a pleasant surprise. I didn't think you could cast any spells with that horn of yours, and lo, you actually managed to escape from the grip of our army. Too bad you won't be awake to see what we'll do to Indoraptor."
She raised her tail and positioned the stinger right over Blackjack's throat.
"Do you really think you can kill me with your tail?"
"Oh you stupid mare, I'm not like any pony you've ever met."
"Oh please humor me," Blackjack said sarcastically.
"There's a reason why I'm called Scorpion. This tail is laded with a special kind of venom. It was strong enough to knock out Indoraptor for hours and left his body in a numb, weakened state. It left him so vulnerable that he could do nothing to stop us as we made our delicious love to him. I wonder what it will do to a pathetic pony like you. Would it knock you out for hours? Days? Or maybe it'll be enough to kill you?"
"Let's find out, shall we?" Dear Darling said.
"Indoraptor can tell you all about our time together, when you see him in Hell!" Scorpion plunged her tail straight into Blackjack's neck with such speed that the mare had no time to react.
She could feel her eyelids getting extremely heavy as the venom began coursing through her veins. Her metal limbs lost the energy they had and fell to her sides. Then Blackjack felt her body give out and she ultimately lost consciousness as the venom took over. Scorpion released her aura on Blackjack and she fell at their hooves.
"Well that was a total waste, Scorpion," said Fond Feather.
"Was it? Because I hear something getting closer," Scorpion said confidently.
The ponies stopped and listened to see what Scorpion had heard. It was subtle at first, but they slowly picked up the sound of a rumble heading their way. It was slowly getting louder, and then the unmistakable roar that the four mares knew all too well.
"He's coming," said Scorpion.
A minute later, Indoraptor charged through the foliage and stopped in front of the mares. Scorpion fired a blast almost immediately after Indoraptor had stopped. His echolocation barely had time to register the attack and the blast grazed his face by only a few inches. But he couldn't dodge the barrage of mares that swarmed him mere seconds after Scorpion's attack. There were too many of them attacking him all at once, between diving attacks and magic blasts coming from all directions, there wasn't time to strike back. But what he didn't know was that it was all a diversion for the real threat that was casually walking towards him in the middle of the mess of ponies.
Scorpion had her tail arched and was waiting patiently for the perfect moment to strike. A sick twisted grin grew on her face as she drew closer while her army kept Indoraptor distracted. Then the moment presented itself to her: Dear Darling had just shot Indoraptor in the face, and Swoon Song followed up with a powerful buck to the face. The kick packed enough strength to stun him long enough for Scorpion to inject her tail into his neck. The other mares backed away as they watched their leader go to work.
Indoraptor could feel his body going numb again as the venom surged through his veins. His limbs were losing strength and before long, his legs gave out from underneath him and he collapsed on the forest floor. From another corner of the forest, Sheer Cold, Spoiled Rotten and Neighsay watched in amazement at how easily she had rendered Indoraptor weak and defenseless.
"I don't believe it, she actually pulled it off," Neighsay whispered.
"It's not Indominus or his weak brother, but seeing one member of their family suffering is better than nothing," said Spoiled Rotten.
"If she makes it out of this, we have to see about making her part of Sombra's collective," said Sheer Cold.
"Her venom would make an excellent addition to Sombra's army, and if he were to enhance it with his power, it might be strong enough to take down Indominus Rex," Sheer Cold added.
"We'll see. First, she has to get out of this forest alive. Her army may have him trapped now, but don't count out a dinosaur that could defeat our own hybrids and walk away." Neighsay said with caution.
Indoraptor could barely move his arms as he struggled to stay conscious. The venom hadn't taken its full toll on him like the first time, but there was enough potency in the sting to bring him down. He could only look up as the mares surrounded him and the four that had kidnapped and abused him before, towered over his body.
"So nice to see you again, Indoraptor," Scorpion said. "I didn't think you'd be so happy to come running back to us."
"Especially after how your father marked us for life," Swoon Song said as she brought her face right up to Indoraptor's to show the healed scars on her face.
"We haven't forgotten how wonderful you were, and we still haven't gotten our fill yet," Dear Darling said as she licked Indoraptor's face.
"I'd be dead before I let you ponies do anything to me again!" Indoraptor struggled to pull himself up despite the venom taking away his strength.
Scorpion wasn't even concerned how he was managing to hold himself up with his shaking arms.
"Don't try acting tough, big boy. I bet you're using all the strength that's left in you just to hold yourself up." She stroked her tail under Indoraptor's chin.
"Besides, we all know what really had you running full speed to get here," said Fond Feather.
"What did you freaks do to her?"
"Why who are you talking about?" Dear Darling said sarcastically.
"You know who I'm talking about! Where is she?"
Their silence taunted the tormented dinosaur.
"WHERE'S BLACKJACK!?"
"Oh you mean THIS pathetic excuse of a pony?"
Scorpion and the mares moved aside to show Blackjack's body lying motionless behind them. As Indoraptor's eyes fell upon her, everything seemed to fade away into darkness around him. Scorpion and her army dissolved in the black void that was surrounding him. All he could see was the motionless body of the mare he had rescued, looked after and had tried so hard to give her a normal life. The thought of what those mares would do to her once they were finished with him tore away at his tired mind.
"Look at him. He's so traumatized he's forgotten we're here," said Swoon Song as she looked over the blank expression on Indoraptor's face.
"Guess seeing her like this put him into a state of true shock. We should take advantage of the moment while we still can. Girls, let's roll him over so we can resume where we left off, and then everypony can have their turn with him," Scorpion announced.

They rolled Indoraptor onto his back and Scorpion was the first to mount him. As she inserted herself into him, she whispered to the traumatized hybrid.
"She's not dead yet, scaly one. My venom just knocked her out cold like it did to you. Once we're finished with you, then we'll dump her body next to yours."
Deep within Indoraptor's heart, a white hot flame was beginning to grow. He could feel anger boiling in his mind, raging for revenge, a chance to get back at the mares that were abusing him. It focused his exhausted mind on one single thought: to save Blackjack.
"No.....she didn't do anything wrong.....I can't...."
"Save your breath, hybrid. There's nothing you can do to stop us."
"Yes.....I.....CAN!!!"
Indoraptor's eyes shot open and glowed a powerful shade of crimson. His body was starting to glow golden yellow and it startled the army of mares.
"Uh, Scorpion?"
"Wha-"
Indoraptor roared violently as a powerful explosion of golden fire erupted from his body, sending the ponies scattering and dislodging Scorpion from him. Both the golden fire and his roar echoed across the forest and Ponyville, startling several ponies. When Indoraptor stood up his body was encased in golden fire just like before, and the venom had been evaporated from his system completely. With his strength restored, he began making his way towards the mares, who were terrified to see him back on his feet like nothing had happened. One of them seized Blackjack in her magic and levitated her towards them to try and use her as bait to stop the changed hybrid. But in the blink of an eye, Indoraptor was upon the poor pony in seconds with one slash of his claws, he cut through her neck and severed her head.
The unicorn's magic stopped instantly and Indoraptor caught Blackjack in his arms. The crimson glare from his eyes was enough to scare the entire army, including the four abusers, Sheer Cold, Neighsay and Spoiled Rotten.
"He looks like his father," Neighsay said shocked.
"You will all pay." Indoraptor roared at the army and golden fire spewed forth from his mouth.
Waves of flame washed over the army and swept them off their feet. The flames even tore Sombra's spies from their hiding place and blew them all out of the forest. Now Indoraptor was finally alone and could tend to the matter that had been on his mind. He brought Blackjack closer to his face and brought his lips to hers. As he kissed her, the golden flames began flowing into her and started to take the shape of wings sprouting from his sides.
Purple steam was slowly evaporating from inside Blackjack's body, showing that the golden flames were literally burning the venom out of her system. Indoraptor pulled away from Blackjack's mouth and the flames parted from his body as he raised his head. Once they were gone, Indoraptor was almost the spitting image of Indominus's WorldBreaker form. He had the same golden streaks, golden flames were emitting from his body in the same fashion as Indominus, his back was adorned with three rows of golden osteoderms, and he even had a pair of dragonic wings. Indoraptor had finally awakened his WorldBreaker form.
Blackjack stirred in his arms and he looked down at her as she slowly opened her eyes, still a little slow from the venom.
"Indominus?"
"No Blackjack, it's me." The fierce glow in his eyes dimmed as Indoraptor looked into her glowing eyes.
"Indoraptor? You look just like Indominus. How did you do it?"
"It was those mares. They came back and attacked me, said they were going to do away with both of us."
"Oh I remember. That bitch with the long tail got me with something that knocked me out."
"It was venom. The same venom she used to put me under the first time. But this form burned it out of my system, just like it did for you."
"Yeah. I felt that, as well as that very hot kiss from you. I didn't think you'd make a move so soon, and in such an impressive state."
Indoraptor turned his head away from her with a tinge of embarrassment, but what happened next genuinely surprised him. Blackjack pulled his head back towards her and she kissed him back.
"I like you too, you kind-hearted lump of scales. Now how about we take care of those mares, and then I'll treat you to some real love afterwards?"
"I like the sound of that." Indoraptor could feel his face turning red at what she was thinking of.
With a flap of his wings, Indoraptor took off into the air while still carrying Blackjack, going after the mares before they escaped his grip.
Neighsay, Sheer Cold and Spoiled Rotten skidded on the ground as they were blown out of the forest and back into Ponyville. They immediately ducked back into the shadows that Sombra had left behind in-between the houses, just as ponies started coming outside after hearing Indoraptor's roar. Moments later, Scorpion and her army of mares came skidding out too, their heads spinning from the sudden attack. Indoraptor burst out of the forest after them, flew over their heads and landed in front of them, with Blackjack in his arms.
"What are we gonna do now, Neighsay?" Sheer Cold asked. "If that animal picks up our scent, then it's over."
"Worry not," Neighsay whispered. "I have a spell ready for moments like this."
Neighsay tried to cover the glow of his horn as best he could while he used his magic to conceal them within the shadows. Nopony would be able to see them within the darkness, nor could they as they were drawn to Indoraptor's glow like a moth to a flame. Among the many ponies that heard the roar, Twilight, Pinkie and Marble came running at the sound. When the citizens arrived at where Indoraptor was, they were stunned to see his transformation and how much he had changed. Twilight was mesmerized by his appearance at first, but when she caught sight of the marked mares, she knew they had to be stopped for good.
"Indoraptor. What's going on here?"
"It's them, Twilight! The mares that raped me have returned, only this time they brought back up!" Indoraptor roared so everypony knew that the ponies in front of them could not be saved or spared.
"They tried to kill us back in the forest," Blackjack said as Indoraptor set her down. "That bitch with the long tail stung me and almost drugged Indoraptor again.
"How dare you monsters show your faces here again," Twilight growled as she approached Scorpion.
"Did you really think we were going to stay away, Princess?" Scorpion said as she and her army got back up. "We just needed bigger numbers to take him on, and this time none of you have the King to come save our hybrid slave this time.
The mares all fixated their eyes on Indoraptor, who wasn't fazed or afraid of them now that he was standing strong in his newfound power. Marble and Pinkie stood beside him and soon all the ponies began circling around the small army, cutting off any escape they could use.
"Indominus may not be here right now, but you've got all of us to deal with instead," said Marble.
"And this time, you rotten meanies aren't going to get away with a warning," said Pinkie.
"Oh really? You think you're going to stop us? That's a laugh, fire girls!" Swoon Song shouted.
Several of the unicorns in the group fired blasts at Twilight, Blackjack, Marble and Pinkie, but Indoraptor jumped in front of them and spread his wings to shield them.
"Indoraptor, what are you thinking?" Twilight shouted as the hybrid stood firmly in place as the blasts raced towards him.
What happened next took everypony by surprise. The blasts collided with Indoraptor, but instead of exploding or forcing him back, the blasts were being evaporated into the air. Twilight flew up to get a better look and to her shock, the blasts weren't even touching his scales. The golden flames were acting as some advanced shield and evaporating the blasts the instant they made contact. The mares were stunned that Indoraptor wasn't affected in the least, they had hit him with enough combined power to leave a hole in a mountain, and none of it got through to him.
"Whoa, now this is interesting." Indoraptor said calmly.
"No, that had to be a fluke. He couldn't have just blocked them all and not be hurt," said Scorpion while trying to ignite another blast.
"Let's find out then."
In one blur of speed, Indoraptor had gone from being by Blackjack and the girls to towering over Scorpion. Terrified at how fast he had moved, Scorpion fired her blast at point blank range. But even at a hoof's reach away, the blast was still being evaporated by the gold flames. Unfazed by her attack, Indoraptor reached down and grabbed Scorpion by her horn. He yanked her off the ground and brought her up to his level, then that was when he saw it. The gold flames on his claws weren't just evaporating the magic, they were nullifying it altogether.
The magic aura on Scorpion's horn was being fizzled out and sent into the air. Twilight saw it too and realized that Indoraptor's flames didn't just heal and protect him, they could rob ponies of their magic entirely. Impressed by what his gold fire had done, Indoraptor dropped Scorpion and casually walked back towards his girls. The army of mares were truly scared by this point: their leader had been robbed of her magic and none of them could harm Indoraptor in his new state.
Scorpion struggled to use any kind of spell, but the aura didn't even form. Indoraptor's gold flames were still dancing on her horn, fizzling out any particles that tried to form. Her magic had been cancelled out completely.
"Not so tough without magic to bail you out of trouble this time," Indoraptor said confidently. "Twilight, do you think it's alright if we take care of these filthy excuses for ponies for real this time?"
"That depends, is everypony here ok with this?"
"We won't breathe a word about this to anypony," said one stallion in the crowd.
"Any creature that would do something so horrid and cruel to the future prince of Equestria is not one of us," said another mare. "We'll keep this to ourselves and make sure that word about this never leaves Ponyville."
"Thanks everypony. Now Twilight, if you would hold them for me?"
"With pleasure, Indoraptor. Blackjack, care to join me?
"You know it."
Both mares ignited their horns and a combined aura of both of their magic entrapped the army of mares, leaving them helpless. They levitated the mares into the air and held them above the crowd of ponies.
"Good, and now for the-"
Indoraptor stopped as he picked up some very unusual scents, they were extremely close to where he was, almost like they'd been waiting for this. He used his echolocation to see if he could spot where the scents were coming from. His sound waves picked up the shapes of what looked like three ponies hiding in-between a few houses. The hybrid then used his thermal detection and it revealed that there were indeed three bodies hiding in plain sight.
"Found them," Indoraptor said.
"Indoraptor, what are you-" Twilight started, but Indoraptor suddenly turned his head sharply in the direction of the shadows, with golden fire building in his mouth.
"Quiet, Twilight. We're being watched."
Neighsay felt his heart leap into his throat at how Indoraptor was peering into the darkness as if he could see them in plain sight.
"I=I think he knows," Sheer Cold whispered.
"Shhh, be quiet." Neighsay said.
"I swear he can see us," Spoiled Rotten whispered.
"Hush, that animal can't possibly know we're here," said Neighsay.
But Indoraptor could see all of them clear as crystal with his combined abilities. He opened his jaws and fired a blast of golden flame into the shadows. Neighsay's eyes shrank and his heart nearly stopped at seeing the blast heading right for them. In a desperate haste to avoid being killed, Neighsay conjured up a shield to protect himself, Sheer Cold and Spoiled Rotten from the attack. He thought that he had saved himself from being obliterated, but just like with Scorpion's magic, the same thing was happening to his shield.
He could see the steam coming off the shield, and the magic was disintegrating before his eyes. The blast would destroy the shield in a matter of seconds and either kill them or at the very least expose them to the crowd. Neighsay tapped an artifact on his clothing and it conjured up a small portal behind them. It was big enough for them to get through, but only one at a time.
"Get out of here. Get back to Sombra."
Neither of Scootaloo's DNA doners waited for more, and jumped through the portal. Neighsay made a break for the portal as his shield gave out against the gold fire. The explosion from the blast knocked him off his hooves, but it was so bright it prevented Indoraptor from seeing him, and it actually knocked him through the portal as it closed up. Indoraptor couldn't be sure if he had hit the ponies that were spying on him, but he could worry about that later. Now he could turn focus on taking down the mares that had attacked him.
"Now, your turn." Indoraptor said as he charged another blast.
Scorpion and her army could only watch as the hybrid fired a large blast at them. The blast engulfed the combined shield and detonated over the mares. The explosion carried the mares back into the forest and Indoraptor chased after them, with Twilight, Marble, Pinkie and Blackjack running alongside him.
"Go get em, Indoraptor," some of the ponies called out as the hybrid disappeared back into the foliage.
Indoraptor expertly navigated the girls through the dark foliage, keeping the heat signatures of all the mares in his sights. He could see some of them had already recovered from the blast and were trying to make a break for it. He knew that if even a single mare got away from them and escaped into Equestria, they'd convince more ponies to join them and he'd never be free from them.
"Don't let any of them escape!" Indoraptor roared as he sped ahead after the fleeing mares.
He leaped after one pegasus that was trying to fly into the trees. His new form made him far faster than he'd ever been, and he caught her faster than his mind could process just how quickly he'd caught up. Marble and Pinkie leaped onto a pair of mares and wrestled them to the ground, while Blackjack fired her blasts at any mare that tried to escape deeper into the forest. Twilight flew into the air and used her own blasts to knock any pegasi back to the ground or force any mares back towards Indoraptor. He was moving so fast from pony to pony, throwing them back into the group that none of them could get more than four feet away.
Fond Feather watched from among the tossed bodies as mares were being thrown back into each other. She knew that Indoraptor wanted to kill them, but with so many mares going in every direction he didn't have enough time to deal a killing blow. She had to create some kind of opening so they could all escape throughout Equestria, then Indoraptor would never be rid of them. Her eyes drifted up at Twilight who was providing cover in the air, and she had an idea. She bolted off the ground, sped straight towards Twilight and nailed an uppercut right to the jaw.
Twilight was knocked unconscious from the sneak attack and Fond Feather followed up by kicking her down into the dirt. Indoraptor broke his focus on the mares at the sound of the attack, but it was the exact mistake that Fond Feather knew he'd make. Marble and Pinkie took their eyes off their own targets, and the trapped mares used the moment to knock them off their backs. Fond Feather followed up with her sneak attack and sped towards Blackjack, who did see the attack coming and brought up her metal forehooves to block. Blackjack effortlessly knocked Fond Feather aside and fired a telekinetic bullet at the pegasus.
"EVERYPONY RUN!!!!!" She shouted as she barely managed to prevent the bullet from piercing her skull.
All the mares split up in separate directions and ran off into every part of the forest, leaving Indoraptor with no idea of how to stop all of them. He fired blasts wildly into the forest, but felt himself being knocked onto his side. He looked up and found the mares that had scarred him and used him standing proudly in front of him.
"You've lost, big boy. Your new look and your pitiful friends couldn't stop us this time," said Scorpion.
"Our army will leave to tell what you've done tonight," said Swoon Song.
"And you'll be haunted by us and our followers forever," said Dear Darling.
"Now sweet prince, say goodnight."
Scorpion raised her tail and swung it down towards Indoraptor's neck. There was no time for Twilight, Blackjack, Marble or Pinkie to react fast enough to stop them. But just before the stinger made contact with his skin, all four mares were rammed by something incredibly fast. Indoraptor was stunned that he'd been saved with mere inches between his scales and Scorpion's tail, but as he sniffed the air, he recognized the object that had rammed them. As he got back on his feet, she touched down in front of him. A comforting smile spread on his face as he saw her body gleaming in the moonlight.
"Echo, thank you for saving me."
The bat pony's eyes were wide in wonder and delight at Indoraptor's transformed body. His new look was unlike anything she had ever seen in her life. But Indoraptor didn't have time to enjoy the reunion.
"Echo! Those mares! They're escaping! We have to stop them."
"You don't have to worry, Indoraptor. I took care of that."
"What are you talking about, abomination? Our army is long gone by now," said Fond Feather.
"Oh I wouldn't be so sure. Just listen."
The mares were about to laugh at Echo's statement, but the sound of crunching bones shattered the silence of the forest. In the distance they could hear the unmistakable sounds of roars, growls, trees being torn down and the sound of ponies being smacked around in agony. But there was also a horrid smell that began to fill the air, and it was a familiar scent that Indoraptor hated to know what was coming their way.
"What's going on, Indoraptor?"
"Stay close, Blackjack. Things are about to get really interesting."
Suddenly, bloodied legs and remains of the army came flying back, along with several ponies that were missing limbs or marked all over with claw marks and collapsed. Scorpion, Swoon Song, Fond Feather and Dear Darling were horrified at the sight and their own blood ran cold as Indominus and Tyrannosaurus stepped through with a few ponies dangling in their jaws. The raptor squad came after them with blood on their teeth and claws, obviously from the mares they had killed. Rainbow, Scootaloo and Viper also joined them, blood dripping from their fangs as well. Now the mares were in deep trouble, for the entire family was together and in their element, with the intent to kill without mercy.
"Aw sweet! Now that's what I'm talking about." Blackjack said in delight.
"I thought I smelled something horrible, and it turns out it was a bunch of rats that we threw out of town," said Rexy.
"More to the point, look at our big brother," said Blue.
Indominus was transfixed on his son's transformation, it was something he hadn't expected to see happen again. Especially in it's complete form, as a full fledged world breaker.
"Excuse me, are we being ignored right now?" Scorpion asked in anger.
"Oh don't worry, you're still being watched," said Twilight as she. Marble, Pinkie and Blackjack surrounded them.
"Now kindly shut your mouths. This is a big moment for Indominus," said Blackjack.
Indominus and Rexy swallowed the remains of the mares they had killed as the family made their way towards Indoraptor. Viper had excited, wide eyes at seeing how much her brother had changed. Indominus and Rainbow had such proud looks in their eyes, for this was a moment they honestly didn't think they'd get to see in its entirety.
"Brother, you look....incredible," said Viper.
"Yeah, I'm still getting used to it, little sis," Indoraptor said as he nuzzled his sister.
"What do you think, Dad? Is this what you said I'd get to see one day?"
Indominus didn't say a word, he lowered his head and nuzzled against his son's. Soft gentle growls rumbled from his jaws and the golden flames flowed over his body as he turned WorldBreaker himself. Rainbow had tears in her eyes at how her son was truly just like his father. She couldn't resist transforming herself and joining the embrace.
"You've made us so proud, my son," said Indominus.
"You actually pulled it off, Indoraptor. You're a WorldBreaker, a true WorldBreaker," said Rainbow.
"I still don't even know how it happened. One minute I'm passing out from the venom while those mares were going to attack Blackjack, and the next I'm transforming and knocking them all away."
"Then that's all the proof we need, isn't it Rainbow?"
"Uh huh. She is indeed the one he cares about."
Indominus caught a glance at Echo's disheartened expression and realized that there was more than just one mare that Indoraptor cared about.
"Not just her, Rainbow. All of the ponies that have helped Indoraptor are here. Especially the one that took care of him and helped him through that dilemma when none of us could."
"You....mean that?" Echo asked, a bright blush forming on her cheeks.
"I do, Echo. You have no idea how grateful we've been for how well you took care of Indoraptor. You helped save him from the fear of the disease, and it's thanks to you that he's regained his fighting spirit."
"B-but I can't take all the credit, Indominus. Those mares have done just as much if not more than I have," Echo said as she pointed to Twilight, Marble and Blackjack."
"That may be true, Echo. But you were the one who helped Indoraptor out of his worst moment. That's an accomplishment you should be proud of," said Rainbow.
Echo blushed at Rainbow's compliment, she didn't know that taking Indoraptor into her home and looking after him would mean the entire world to the king and his queen.
"Hold on Mom and Dad. Did you get all of the mares that split off into the forest?" Indoraptor asked, hoping that none of Scorpion's army had managed to escape.
"I think we got them all, we only saw the ones that Echo pointed us towards. Were there more, son?"
"HA!!!! I knew that you wouldn't be able to catch all of them. You monsters failed after all."
As Indominus was about to retort, an extremely pungent and foul smell filled the air.
"Oh sweet merciful Celestia, what is that horrible smell?" Swoon Song said.
"Brother, do you think it could be them?" Tyrannosaurus asked.
"There's no other creature that smells as rotten as them, Rexy," said Indominus.
"Guess we'll have to deal with them again," said Blue.
Everyone turned their heads in the direction of the scent, and out of the forest came a pack of timberwolves with blood dripping from their maws. Some were finishing chewing up the remains of what was left of Scorpion's army.
"Timberwolves? That's what killed those mares, timberwolves!?" Scorpion couldn't believe that the entire army had been all but slaughtered by dinosaurs and a bunch of wooden wolves who should've been easy to destroy.
"Indoraptor, Viper, get behind us." Indominus said as he, Rexy and the raptors stood between them and the approaching wolves, baring their teeth at their longtime rivals for prey.
Rainbow and Scootaloo flew above them to keep an extra eye on the trapped mares, to make sure that there wouldn't be any more surprise attacks from them. Indoraptor couldn't figure out why timberwolves would come near them when he knew that his family could easily wipe them out. He'd heard how his father, big brother and sisters had fought timberwolves countless times, and each time the wolves lost. So why would a pack be confronting them now when they hadn't fought them in such a long time?
Then Viper noticed something unusual about the pack: two timberwolves were carrying in their jaws what appeared to be a large skull. She pointed out the oddity to her brother.
"Indoraptor, can you see what those wolves are holding?"
"What are you talking about, Viper?"
"Look, two of them are holding something in their mouths."
Indoraptor trained his keen eyesight to see what Viper was seeing. Sure enough, there were two wolves carrying a rather large skull in their mouths. They hadn't dropped it since the pack had shown up.
"What does that look like to you, brother?"
"I think that's a cragadile skull."
"But why would timberwolves carry a cragadile skull with them? I've never heard of them doing something like this, and when did they get the chance to kill one?"
"I don't think they killed it, Viper. I think we were the ones that killed it."
"No way. When did we do that?"
"Remember that time we were at the watering hole, and I discovered one of my abilities when that cragadile attacked us?" Viper's eyes grew huge as she remembered that day and the realization sunk in.
"You think these are the wolves that were at the watering hole?"
"Yes, the ones that we left the cragadile carcass to when we left. I think we can trust them."
"Are you sure we can, brother?"
"With how strong I am now, they can't hurt us, sister. Besides, if they are the same wolves from that day, they could help us deal with them," Indoraptor said as he pointed towards the trapped, seething mares.
"Alright Indoraptor, I just hope you're right about this."
Indoraptor walked out from behind his family with Viper sticking close to him. Indominus was shocked to see his son walking towards the pack without an ounce of tension or ready to strike them.
"Indoraptor! What do you think you're doing?"
"Trust me, dad. I think we may have helped these wolves at one point, I want to see for myself."
"I don't like this idea, son, but now that you're a WorldBreaker you can't be hurt. But don't let them get close to Viper."
"I won't," Indoraptor said calmly.
"Indominus, are you crazy?" Rainbow shouted.
"Don't interfere, Rainbow. I trust our son, and so should you."
Rainbow kept her eyes locked on her kids, panic flooding her brain on what might the timberwolves could do to either of them. One timberwolf walked forward from the pack to meet Indoraptor and Viper, the hybrid could only guess that the wolf was the alpha of his pack since none of the other wolves followed him. Indoraptor tried to lower the flow of the golden flames and the red glow from his eyes so he didn't look too intimidating to the wolves. Viper watched from her brother's side as he did something no one in his family had done before: talk to the timberwolf.
"Are you the wolves that were at the watering hole when we killed that cragadile?"
The alpha turned to the wolves that were holding the skull and they walked forward. They dropped the skull and pushed it over to the hybrids. Indominus was intrigued by the strange display, in all the time he had spent in the forest he'd never seen timberwolves do anything so unusual.
"Is this because we gave you a free meal?" Viper suddenly asked.
The wolves turned toward Viper and did the second most strange thing Indominus had never seen: they bowed as a pack to his children. Indoraptor couldn't understand why they would bow to him and Viper, but she was able to figure it out.
"They're thanking us, brother."
"But why?"
"Think about it, we've been hunting all of the food in the forest, leaving almost nothing for them. When we left that cragadile for them, they took it as a meal they never got before. I think it's their way of thanking us for providing them with a meal."
"Is this true?" Indoraptor asked the timberwolves.
The alpha looked up at him with a calm glow in his green eyes and then resumed his bow. It was all Indoraptor needed to know as he took a bow to them. Viper had never seen her brother bow to anyone except the princesses, but this was a display of genuine gratitude. She couldn't see any of the wolves preparing to pounce or attack them, so she felt safe enough to bow alongside her brother.
"AAAHHHH! I can't stand anymore of this!" Swoon Song yelled.
"Take this you beasts!"
Scorpion scrapped her horn against the dirt, trying to extinguish the gold fire. When she felt her magic coming back, she conjured up a shield so fast that it pushed the girls away from her and the remains of her beaten army. Rainbow and Scootaloo were blinded by the light from the shield as Scorpion furiously fired a blast at the timberwolves. The wolves looked up at the sound of the blast heading towards, but saw Indoraptor stand in front of the blast and they watched as the attack disintegrated upon contact. No one in the family could believe their eyes at how strong Indoraptor's WorldBreaker form was. Indominus had such a proud look in his eyes and Rainbow was trying to keep her fangirling under control in the situation.
"Timberwolves, help us take down those ponies right there and I will protect you!"
The timberwolves rose up and stood alongside the transformed hybrid. Indoraptor placed his hands on the alpha and one of his subordinates and the golden flames flowed onto the timberwolves. It didn't burn their bodies but flowed over them and spread to the rest of the pack until all of them were covered in the golden flames. With the flames protecting them, they all had the same invulnerability against magic as Indoraptor. There was no way Indominus would interfere with this moment, it was the chance Indoraptor had to finally put what those mares had done to him to rest at last. The raptors, Twilight, Pinkie, Marble and Blackjack joined him and together all of them were one giant pack against eight broken mares that had sealed their fates.
"Brother, this is one of those moments dad told us about, isn't it?"
"Yes Viper, the rare moment where we are allowed to kill ponies. We will not let any of them live to tell of what happened here, will we?"
"No!" Everypony shouted.
"Everycreature, ATTACK!!!!"
Indoraptor roared as he charged ahead and pounced on the group, landing on Swoon Song first. The injured mares, Scorpion, Dear Darling and Fond Feather tried to escape again, but this time they were swarmed by the small army of ponies, raptors, timberwolves and hybrids. The timberwolves easily tore through the bleeding mares that the family had brought back, while the others kept the last three mares trapped. Blue and her girls took turns leaping and clawing at each of the mares, who were constantly on their toes just to avoid being eaten alive. But Swoon Song was gonna be the first to go as Indoraptor began his brutal torture.
With his immense weight and his claws firmly pinned against her, she had no hope of escape.
"You seemed to enjoy having me inside you, well now it's your turn to be inside me!"
He lunged forward and clamped down on her head with his jaws. Swoon Song screamed in pain as Indoraptor violently shook his head back and forth, tearing away at her very nerves and veins. Then with one swift yank, Indoraptor tore her head off and crunched down on it until it was crushed with blood spilling out of the deep gashes. Everycreature had eyes on him as Indoraptor chomped down on Swoon Song's crushed head and let it slide down his throat. Blackjack saw a deadly look in his eyes that other ponies had described her having before, a look of bloodlust.
Fond Feather and Dear Darling were rooted to the spot with blood curdling fear at the sight of their friend's headless body. They couldn't stop him now, Indoraptor had the power to take his revenge and he wouldn't stop until they had all been killed. He crouched down on all fours like a jaguar waiting to pounce on its' prey and said in a dark, deadly voice.
"Now you raping rats, you're next!" He exploded off the ground towards the three remaining mares.
Fond Feather screamed like a banshee as she flapped her wings as fast as she could. She hoped that she could fly fast enough to escape the vengeful hybrid, but her speed was nothing compared to Echo's and Viper's. The bat pony and young hybrid seized her by the legs and threw her back towards the ground. As she recovered they were upon her again, throwing punches, slashes and sinking their teeth into her skin. Through all the flying hooves and attacks, Viper managed to sink her teeth into Fond's neck and clench down with enough force to briefly paralyze her. Seizing the opportunity, Echo also sunk her teeth into the mare's neck and they plummeted to the ground.
Echo and Viper released their grip right before Fond collapsed into the dirt. She tried to get back on her hooves, but felt terrible pain in her back when the bat pony and hybrid slammed into her back.
"Beautifully done, girls. Now I'll take care of finishing her off," Indoraptor said as he calmly walked towards the immobilized mare.
Dear Darling's mind was flooding with horrific images at how Indoraptor was going to tear his next victim apart. With adrenaline and fear overwhelming her mind she fired angrily at everypony within her reach. The rexes merely had to shift their heads to dodge the pitiful blasts, and the raptors and ponies dodged and weaved to avoid them. Dear Darling used the brief window of opportunity to take a shot at Indoraptor, completely forgetting that his form could nullify magic. From Twilight's angle, it looked like she was aiming her magic at Echo and Viper.
As Dear Darling fired her attack, Twilight flew in front of the attack and conjured up a shield to block it. But when she conjured up her shield, she saw that there was also a white shield mixed with hers. She looked to her left and saw Blackjack standing next to her, straining a little to maintain her own shield.
"Blackjack? How'd you get over here so fast?"
"I'm not sure, Twilight. Normally these metal legs make it hard to move fast, but when I tried to run over to help you they felt almost like nothing."
Twilight saw a faint gold glow coming off of Blackjack's legs and she knew right away why Blackjack had been so fast.
"You can thank Indoraptor for that later. Right now we need to stop her."
"Right. Blue! Echo! Delta! Charlie! Take her!" Blackjack shouted.
Dear Darling heard the screeches of the raptor pack and turned to see Blue charging right for her. She fired several blasts at the raptor, but Blue dodged all of them with ease. She fired again and again with no chance of hitting the velociraptor, not realizing that the real attack was coming from the sides and behind her. Charlie, Echo and Delta lunged from every direction and dogpiled the unicorn. Charlie clamped down on the horn as Dear Darling struggled in vain against the weight of the three raptors. The young raptor pressed harder on the horn until she felt it snap in her jaws.
With her magic gone, Dear Darling was helpless as Blue and Delta held her up by their claws to witness the brutal execution of Fond Feather. Indoraptor had her on her back pinned with his claws down on her hooves. Viper and Echo had moved aside to give him room for the carnage.
"This is what will happen to you next for what you've done to our brother," said Charlie as the raptors looked on at their hybrid brother towering over the wounded pegasus.
"You seemed to enjoy biting into me while I was pinned down. Now let's see how you like it!"
Indoraptor sunk his teeth deep into her skin, and then pulled back with a huge chunk of flesh in his mouth. He quickly swallowed the chunk and then dove back down tearing off several chunks of flesh, all while driving his jaws deeper into her body. Fond Feather was gasping and gurgling in horrific noises as Indoraptor continued to tear her apart from the inside out. The ponies had to cover their eyes at the horrific sight of blood and organs flying all over the forest floor. Seeing the graphic carnage brought back brutal memories of some of the death and savagery Blackjack had witnessed in her life.
Twilight wrapped a wing around her ears to block out some of the guttural sounds coming from Indoraptor. Thankfully the carnage ended on Fond Feather when Indoraptor crushed her heart in his jaws and her twitching body went limp. He picked up her ripped open body and began gulping it down his throat. It was gruesome for Dear Darling and Scorpion to watch their friend get crunched down and swallowed by Indoraptor. He turned his attention to his next victim, with his entire face painted red and blood dripping from his teeth. He was far from satisfied and unfortunately for the last two mares, his vengeance had just begun.
The bloodlust had gotten into his head and all the hybrid could see as he glared at Dear Darling was her splattered body on the trees. His eyes glowed white hot as he got down on all fours and upon seeing the stance he was taking, Viper shouted to her sisters.
"Girls! Throw her!"
No sooner had the words escaped her mouth when Indoraptor suddenly exploded off the ground with insane speed. The raptors barely had time to throw the damaged unicorn before Indoraptor was upon them. The force that he generated as he slammed into Dear Darling and traveled in-between his sisters rippled through their bodies and almost knocked them over. The sickening sound of bones snapping and splintering into pieces was heard as Indoraptor slammed the unicorn into a tree.
"Not so amusing now, is it?" Indoraptor said before he took his right hand and plunged his claws deep into her skull.
He raked his claws down the full length of her body and Darling's screams bellowed throughout the forest. Scorpion was petrified in terror, unable to do anything as Indoraptor licked the blood from his claws and clamped down on Darling's head before tossing her away. The devastated unicorn was quivering and twitching on the forest floor, blood spilling from her body and the holes in her head where Indoraptor had bitten her. Her life was slipping away, but all too soon came to a brutal end as Indoraptor walked over, picked her up in his jaws and crunched down on her body so hard that she split into small pieces. All that was left of Dear Darling was her head, the tips of her hooves and a small portion of her tail.
Now that left only one mare to annihilate, the one who had drugged Indoraptor and violated him first all so she could have hybrids of her own. Indoraptor set his gaze on the petrified mare, who was surrounded by Twilight, Pinkie, Marble, Echo, Blackjack and Viper, with Timberwolves closing in on them. Indominus and the rest of the family stayed away from the carnage that was going to ensue because they had already had their fun slashing up the mares. Now it was time for Indoraptor to at last rid himself of the mare that had plagued his mind.
"And then there was one," Indoraptor said as he calmly walked towards Scorpion, savoring the fear and terror engraved on her face.
"There's nowhere for you to run to now, bitch," said Blackjack.
Scorpion's eyes darted all over the forest, trying to see if there was some way she could escape. Her army was slaughtered, her closest friends had all been killed or eaten, and with the guardians just watching from a distance there was no way they wouldn't let her walk away. The normally cool and collected hybrid unicorn was now a nervous wreck and becoming more panicked with every step that Indoraptor took. When he got within striking range, Scorpion's mind flooded with so much panic and adrenalin that she ignited her horn with all the magic she could manage and screamed as it burst out in a huge explosion.
Everypony scattered as the explosion grew, while Indoraptor had to struggle with the blast to contain it. He thought he had managed to nullify Scorpion's magic, but he hadn't seen her put on the flames on her horn, which allowed her access to her magic once more. Steam was pouring from his hands as he tried to contain the explosion, but it wasn't going to be enough to nullify such a powerful blast. When the explosion began pushing him back, Indoraptor let forth a blast of golden fire and it completely engulfed the explosion. Once the smoke cleared everypony began searching the area for Scorpion.
To everypony's surprise, she was nowhere in sight.
"She couldn't have just disappeared into thin air," said Pinkie.
"Please don't tell me that coward just went and blew herself up to avoid being killed," said Blackjack.
Indoraptor and Indominus used their thermal detection to scan the forest. There was nothing within the area that they could see. but further into the forest they could see a single body running as fast as it could away from them.
"Gotcha." Indoraptor said before he took off after her.
The only one who could match his speed was Blackjack and she sped off after him.
"Indominus, we need to go after them," said Rainbow.
"No. This is something Indoraptor needs to deal with. It's his only chance to have closure and put this torment to rest. Let him hunt her down."
Rainbow wasn't sure this was the best way for Indoraptor to handle the torment, but with so much bloodshed already on his claws, there was no way he would stop. She only hoped that Indoraptor didn't terrify Blackjack too much when he killed the last mare.
"Go get her, brother," Viper whispered as she watched Indoraptor and Blackjack disappear into the darkness.
Indoraptor heard the sound of heavy footsteps behind him that were getting closer. He stopped and turned around to find Blackjack right behind him, her metal legs glowing in the dark.
"What are you doing here? Go back with them, this is something I have to deal with alone."
"No Indoraptor, I'm not leaving you to deal with this on your own."
"You're not gonna stop me from ending that worthless mare's life. If she slips out of the forest, I'll never get the chance to stop her again."
"Who said anything about stopping you?"
"What?" Indoraptor stopped and took a moment to process what she said. Blackjack was coming along to help him kill Scorpion? He was sure that hearing her talking about all that she had done in the past meant she didn't want anymore blood on her hooves.
"I thought you hated all the pain and death you caused to others. I was sure you never wanted to kill anything again."
"Doesn't mean I'm against bringing death to those who deserve it. I know I said I felt sorry for the ones that I killed, but these mares don't deserve forgiveness. They brought an army with them, drugged me and tried to kill us. I'm all for helping you end this last whore's life, and nothing you say is going to make me change my mind."
"Very well Blackjack, but if you're going to help a carnivore hunt down his prey, then you're going to have to hunt like a carnivore," said Indoraptor.
"And how am I supposed to do that?"
"Like this."
Indoraptor opened his mouth and golden energy flowed out of it and into Blackjack's body. She looked down and saw her metal limbs glowing with golden energy, but also that the energy was having the same effect on her that it did with everyone that was exposed to any of the dinosaurs' energies. Her metal fingers became sharp claws, and she could feel her teeth sharpening. Her metal eyes even became slit pupils like Indoraptor's and they gave off a more menacing red glow.
"Now you look like a carnivore. How do you feel?" Blackjack took a breath and said almost seductively.
"Like an animal, baby."
"Awesome. Now let's go get that bitch."
They continued into the forest, with the heat signature still off in the distance.
Scorpion was hunkered behind a tree, trying to catch her breath after running for so long. While her body was trying to regain energy, she tried to think about everything she had witnessed. Indoraptor had changed, exposed her and all she had tried to do to all of Ponyville. Her army had been wiped out and now she was sure that the dinosaurs would be after her. Her only hope of living to see the light of tomorrow was to find some way out of the forest and avoid every creature that came across her. But with her body recovering from running so hard and her horn almost burnt out from using so much magic to escape, the chances of her making it through the night were very slim.
Once her body relaxed more, she took notice of her surroundings. Tons of woods, dense foliage everywhere she looked and lots of trees that could provide shelter. But something struck her as rather odd, there was no sound in the area she was hiding. There was no chirping from crickets, no bugs or any other animals in the area making a peep. It was so dead silent that it was incredibly unnerving, and with her breaths being the only sound she could hear didn't help her stressed mind. Then suddenly, a bone-chilling roar rippled through the area, nearly stopping Scorpion's heart.
She slowly peeked around the tree and saw them in the distance. Three sets of glowing eyes that seemed to be looking right at her. One was Indoraptor's red eyes, the second was Blackjack's red and yellow eyes, and the third was the green eyes of a Timberwolf. They were moving toward her location like they knew exactly where she was. Scorpion ducked back behind her tree, and as she looked to the side, she could see two sets of green eyes on either side of her. Indoraptor, Blackjack, and three Timberwolves had her cornered and they were hunting as a unit.
The sounds of their growls were getting closer and Scorpion was trying to convince herself that there was no way they could know she was behind the tree. She had put so much distance between herself and the dinosaurs that there was no possible way that they could've seen her. But she was unaware of Indoraptor's thermal detection that could make out her body in the darkness like a glowing beacon. He was merely toying with her on this hunt and using his hunting methods to screw with her mind. Blackjack and the timberwolves split off from Indoraptor while he made his way towards the tree and stood right up against it, inches from where Scorpion was hiding.
Blackjack and the timberwolves closed their eyes to bare slits, to conceal their presence so Scorpion wouldn't see them. Scorpion could hear them moving about in the forest and the fear was building, screaming at her to run. But with so many predators close by and her magic still diminished, she didn't know how she could escape. Suddenly Indoraptor's claws drove into the tree, directly above Scorpion's head. She heard the ripping and tearing of not just the bark, but the insides of the tree as Indoraptor scrapped his claws against it.
"You shouldn't have messed with me."
Scorpion's blood ran ice cold, he knew she was hiding. The guttural growling was so close as his jaws began inching around the tree. Panic and adrenaline coursed through Scorpion's body and right before Indoraptor's eyes came around the tree, she made a break for it. But she didn't get five steps before something slammed into her body and she was sent tumbling to the ground. As she scrambled back to her feet, she realized that she was effectively trapped.
All of them were circling her, keeping their glowing eyes trained on her body. The timberwolves barked and bared their fangs at the trapped unicorn. Blackjack looked as menacing as Indoraptor, her eyes glowing almost as bright as his and her new fangs bared as well. Indoraptor kept growling and glaring at Scorpion, taking in the terror on her face as she tried to find a way out. The once cocky confident mare that had raped and assaulted him was trapped, cornered and best of all, she was at his mercy. Now it was his turn to be the dominant predator and bring down his helpless prey.
He motioned with one claw and the timberwolves charged at Scorpion. The first one ran in and snapped at her legs, forcing her to keep stumbling back so she wouldn't get bitten. She tried swinging her tail at the wolf, but it merely bounced off the wooden body without piercing it. Another wolf saw an opening and went for it, he lunged at the tail and grabbed it in his mouth. Scorpion struggled to pull her tail free, but the wolf had sunk his teeth into the unicorn's tail and wouldn't release his grip.
The wolf that had been biting at her legs had enough time to clamp down on one of her legs. The third wolf moved in and clamped down on her back, pinning her in place. Unreal fear was flooding into her mind, Scorpion was being held by them for Indoraptor because if they wanted to kill her themselves, she would've been dead already. She struggled to gather magic into her horn for another blast and turned her head around to aim at the two wolves that were biting on her backside. But before she could use her magic again, she felt something strong grab her by the neck. She barely managed to turn her head and see that Indoraptor and Blackjack had her by the neck in their claws.
Their bared fangs and glowing eyes would be one of the last things Scorpion ever saw. The grip they had on her throat felt like they had gripped the vertebrae itself. She could barely get any air into her lungs as their monstrous faces continued to stare back at her. Then Blackjack traced one claw along Scorpion's head and spoke in a dark voice.
"Tell me, Scorpion. Do you know what it feels like to be robbed of your eyesight? Have all of your legs nailed down and torn off, and to have your own horn broken off?" Scorpion struggled to shake her head while also trying to aim her horn at them. "Well allow me to show you just how much it hurts!"
Blackjack grabbed Scorpion's horn and Indoraptor watched in amazement as Blackjack began pulling back with the horn in her claws and he could hear subtle breaks coming from it. He watched as Scorpion's eyes shrunk and she tried to scream in pain as Blackjack continued to pull back until a loud crack was heard. The broken bloodied horn was in Blackjack's hand and Scorpion was screaming in their grasp as the blood trickled down from the broken stump that was left. Indoraptor released his grip on her throat as Blackjack took control and flipped the broken horn around in her hand.
"This is for Indoraptor!" She shouted before she took the broken horn and plunged it deep into Scorpion's left eye.
Blood burst out of Scorpion's eye and she screamed bloody murder as the pain shot through her body. A gleeful smile spread on Indoraptor's face as Blackjack slashed away at Scorpion's body. The timberwolves continued to hold the bleeding mare in place as Blackjack swung across Scorpion's face, blood dripping from her metal claws. She brought Scorpion's face up to hers, and through her one good eye, the helpless mare begged for mercy.
"Please.....no more......don't kill me......please."
"Oh no bitch, that pleasure belongs to this magnificent stud."
Indoraptor calmly approached Scorpion and Blackjack and the timberwolves backed off so he could have his moment at last.
"No.....y-you can't......please no," Scorpion begged, but Indoraptor wouldn't have any of it.
He grabbed her by the neck and dragged her up to his level. She was weeping in pain and Indoraptor gave her a toothy sadistic grin.
"You enjoyed abusing me, you delighted in raping me when I was weak. Now the dominant shoe's on the other foot, Scorpion, and you're at my mercy."
He tightened his grip around her neck before shouting.
"THIS IS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TO ME!!!!"
His teeth clamped down on her face and the sound of ripping flesh drilled into Blackjack's ears as Indoraptor tore away from Scorpion's head with tatters of her face in his jaws. Her skull was partially exposed and the screaming was immense, but her torture wasn't over yet. The hybrid slammed her onto the ground and rapidly slashing and ripping flesh away from her body. Blackjack had to look away for a moment as Indoraptor sprayed Scorpion's blood all over the forest, expending every ounce of rage he could summon onto her slaughtered hide. After ten minutes of his slaughter fest, Indoraptor towered over his broken victim with blood covering his face and claws.
Scorpion didn't resemble a pony anymore, her body had been torn open with organs splayed out over the massive gaping hole that used to be her chest. She was barely conscious, her breathing only came in short spasms and very weak intakes. It seemed like she could die any second, but Indoraptor was still going to have that pleasure. He picked her up by the head in his jaws, and then with the power and strength of Rexy's bite force, severed her head from the body. The bloodied remains fell to the floor as Indoraptor swallowed Scorpion's head, he had finally won and freed himself from them forever.
The hybrid dinosaur bellowed a thunderous victory roar throughout the forest, reveling in his well-earned victory. Blackjack carefully walked towards him, unsure if he was in complete control of himself after seeing how savage he was in killing Scorpion.
"Indoraptor?"
To her surprise he looked a little uneasy when he saw her approaching him. He kneeled down in a submissive action with a nervous look in his eyes. The three timberwolves dragged the body away and began feasting on the remains while Blackjack tried to ease the uneasy dinosaur.
"I'm sorry Blackjack. I got so overwhelmed in the excitement that I couldn't stop myself. I hope that you don't see me as a monster."
Blackjack put one of her blood covered hands under Indoraptor's head and lifted it so he could look her in the face.
"We both have more blood on our claws, Indoraptor. You may be drenched in it now, but I never saw you as a monster. You were getting the closure you had been denied. You finally got your revenge on those mares and now they can never hurt you again. If anything, I'm surprised you didn't try to vaporize them on the spot. Plus, you looked so brutal and strong tonight, it was actually kind of.....alluring."
She placed Indoraptor's head against her chest and nuzzled his head.
"Just you wait, I have a sweet reward to give you tonight after we get back home, my hybrid protector."
Indoraptor purred happily into her neck, relieved that despite the carnage he caused, he didn't end up being seen as a monster in her eyes.
