On the Ice
The Showdown
Previous ChapterThe week was dragging by. There was one more practice before the big game. They were pumped on the outside, but the Ranch University Nightmares were scared half to death of what was to come. They were no slouch when it came to wins, but there was always those seasons where they lost their first semifinal game to fall short of the finals. Even their coach, Trickshot was wigged out that they finally made the final cut.
They suited up in their gear, knowing that this was going to be a light practice. The coach was scared to death of overexertion at the last minute, so he left them to their own devices on the ice.
“Really, don't worry about it. Stuff happens, I get that.” Disty said to Golden as they skated around each other, performing passes back and forth with the puck.
“Well yeah, but we just overslept, that’s no excuse.” Golden passed the puck back through her spread skates, which he caught and skated past her. “All I did was send a text after the fact. Still, it was nice of Fable to help out.”
“Yeah, it’s always nice to see him.” Disty smiled as she shot the puck back to him and he shot it straight to the side of Stick. The mare goalie, clad in her red and black face mask caught the puck in midair and tossed it back. “Not to mention a big shout out to our prized goalie.”
“Happy to help.” She saluted them, then deflected yet another incoming puck with her wide hockey stick. “Nice try, Barn.”
“I'll get you next round.” Barnburner, the muscled black earth pony took back up the puck and started back toward the other side of the ice, where their second string goalie was also blocking shots.
“Hey, Barn.” Disty skated alongside him as Golden did on his other side.
“Sup, losers. You guys psyched or what? Finally get to bring some sweet revenge on those horned douches for beating us!”
Both unicorns eyed Barn as the white maned player paused and eyed them back.
“I stand by my words.” He shrugged as they got to the next attack zone where Axle was defending his goal against the others. “Didn't see you guys at the last optional, what's up with that?” He grinned at the two of them.
“Yeah, it’s called optional for a reason. Don't want to over practice this late in the game.” Golden passed the puck back to Disterious, who shot for the corner of the goal up close.
Axle, the freshman unicorn from Manehattan nearly caught the puck, but he did deflect it into the goal rail, where it shot straight back.
“Whoo!” Barnburner shouted and pumped his fist in the air. “Hell yes, Axle! That was one in a million! That’s how it’s done boy!”
Axle blushed from behind his goalie mask and waved. They resumed practice until the coach blew his whistle and waved for all of them to a pow wow. Hattie skated out to the center with them and patted their shoulders as they came in together.
“Alright, guys, and gals. As I said before, do not lose that energy.” He pointed at Barnburner. “This guy knows!” Causing Barn to whoop and the other teammates to roll their eyes. “No matter what happens, just know that I am proud of every single one of you. None of us could have gotten this far if it weren’t for the ones next to you. Keep yourselves in shape, and for heaven’s sake, do not stress yourselves. Get yourselves ready, after tomorrow, we’re going to face down Canterlot! Who’s ready?!”
There was a very loud “HOORAH!” from every one of them. Then the coach threw his hand in the middle, and everyone was all in. “One two three!”
“GET SOME!” All of them shouted, and that was the cue to hit the showers.
Clad in a blue helmet, two knee pads and his blue handkerchief over his mouth, he sped through the city sidewalk on his rollerblades. The chilled wind blew against his face hard as he zipped around benches, lifted his skates over curbs, timed crossing the street as carefully as possible without slowing down or stopping, and even grinded against a stair railing as he went back down onto the sidewalk.
Disterious flew evenly, smoothly over the concrete as the sun shined on such an amazing day as this. Sure, there was practice on a Sunday, but that was to be expected. Tuesday was the big game, and coach was a big believer that practicing directly before a game was bad luck. He wanted them to have fun but still stay in shape. What better way than rollerblading?
Some would call it too cold. Disty was one of those ponies. Quite honestly his ears were going numb, but none of that mattered. He was in his element, well within his groove. He jumped fire hydrants, skated over road barriers and even stopped instantly to pick up a bit off the sidewalk.
As soon as he pocketed it, though, another skater came up to his left. The skater just noticed him and swerved to stop, only to plow into him. They both toppled to the ground as the wind got knocked from him. He landed on his side while the other skater rolled on the ground.
“Ow…” Disty said as he slowly got to a sitting position.
“What the hell!” A taller, more masculine sky blue bat pony said as he sat up beside Disterious. They frowned at each other face to face as he got up on his rump. “What are you doing squatting in the sidewalk where I'm rollerblading!”
“Why aren't you watching where you're going! Also, where is your helmet? You know those things aren't just for looks. You could seriously hurt yourself.” Disterious said as he looked the male bat pony over to make sure there were no broken bones. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I'm fine.” He got up onto his skates and reached out for Disterious’s hand. The unicorn’s eyes widened and he took it. The guy helped him to his feet.
“I'm sorry, I just found a bit on the ground.” Disty said as he dusted himself off.
“Was it tails up?” The sky blue pony asked.
“Um, yeah.” He pulled it out of his pocket and flipped it, catching it in the air.
“Well there’s your problem. Bad luck is teething through those bits you find tail up. I guess our pitfall could have been worse.” Then he looked at Disty from head to hoof. He noticed the red and black Ranch U blazer. “Seems strange that I would find a college student rollerblading on a sidewalk. I thought it was a dying art.”
“Well, I also play college hockey, so I kind of do it for practice.” Disty said as he smiled and held out his hand. “I'm Disterious, by the way.”
“Rhymes with mysterious, I like it.” The bat pony smiled as he shook hands. “Fiction Tale.”
“Nice to meet you, Fiction. It’s weird that I've never seen you around. Seems like I would notice a fellow rollerblader like myself.” Disty started rolling near the wall of the building beside them so he could lean against it.
“Just moved here from Trample Bay. I heard there was a good job market, and sure enough, I found a job to tide me over.” That's when he snapped his fingers. “You guys just won a game against us, didn't you?”
“Yep, just last week, and the big game is tomorrow.” Disty grinned. “You mad?”
“Nah, not really a hockey fan. I just get the news from time to time. I got friends who were hoping we’d make it to the championship. I'm indifferent.” Fiction pulled his phone out of his pocket and handed it to Disty. “Let me get your number and we can skate again sometime.”
“Oh, for sure.” Disterious input his number, then texted it to get Fiction’s. “I guess I'll see you around.”
“I guess you will.” Fiction got his phone back and waved as he turned and got a head start skating down the street.
“And wear a helmet!” Disty shouted toward him. He heard Fiction laugh as he turned the corner.
Disterious got home about an hour later and got out of his clothes. After a quick shower, he put on some lounging wear, which included pajama pants. He had no classes that day and decided he should probably catch up on some sleep. He drew his black curtains over the window to block the sunlight.
As hard as he could, he tried not to think about what was to come the next day. It was just his very first championship game against the toughest team in the college league. No big deal, right? He sighed as he laid down over the covers. His tiny heater blowing hot air was enough to keep him warm.
Then he started to remember something. Wasn't he supposed to do something today? Then there was a knock at his door. His eyes popped open and he looked at his door. He rolled his eyes, thinking it was one of his dorm mates.
“Who is it?” Disty called out as he got up from the bed and sighed.
“Solar Flare…” She said, and opened the door as he took his first step. There was the pink earth pony in a tiny tube top and very tight skirt. Before he could even react to her being in his fraternity, she pulled her top straight down to expose her B-cup buxom. She took one step into the room and kicked the door shut with her hoof. “Hey Disty.”
Her voice was stern to match her straight face expression against her soft, violet eyes. He knew this personality trait. Every time she was wanting to go a round, she started acting like a miss priss, making demands and holding his attention onto her.
“Solar, what are you doing?” He asked, trying his very best to not stare at her bare chest. “Did someone let you in?”
“No, the door is never locked this time of day.” She walked up closer to him and made sure her modest bust was on perfect display. “I just came by because I wanted to show you that I regret ever giving you up. I want to make it right. Let me show you why you should take me back.”
There was yet another knock on the door, stopping her from wrapping her arms around him.
“Hey, bro!” Winter said as he opened the door. Both he and Golden Goal were in the hallway. As soon as Winter laid eyes on Solar Flare, he paused and Golden’s eyes widened. “Oh, are interrupting something?”
As Disterious said “no”, Solar said “yes.” Solar looked to Disty with a flabbergasted expression. As she did, he motioned for them to come in and he looked back at her.
“Look, I'm going to be honest, when you left me, it was something of a relief. I finally had time to do thing I wanted to do without going by your schedule. Winter here is my new boyfriend.”
There came a sudden gasp from Solar as Winter pursed his lips in a pause. She looked him over, then turned her eyes to Golden.
“Isn't he your boyfriend?” Solar asked in an almost pleading tone, pointing to Golden.
All eyes turned to the unicorn mare, who cleared her throat. “Yes.” She answered. Before the blonde pony could swing accusations back at Disty, Golden interrupted. “And so is Disty."
Solar’s heart caught in her throat. She flipped her tube top back over her exposed chest and seemed at a complete loss for words.
“Yes, in fact he and Winter made love to me the other night.” As Golden said this, Solar could feel her heart skip a beat. She shook her head and her brow furrowed to the most evil scowl she could muster.
Solar leered toward Winter, her brain reaching desperately for anything as if her very life depended on it. She looked at the crotch of Winter’s pants and glared back up to his face.
“Enjoying the show are we?” She pointed at his gym shorts, seeing the outline of his penis clearly showing through the fabric.
“Hey, don't look at me, you're the one with your peaches out.” Winter shrugged and Solar’s jaw dropped. Disterious stood behind the pink pony, almost bursting out laughing. “It’s not my fault your ex enjoys this.”
“Bullshit! You're all three making this up to try and get back at me for leaving! This is a pathetic attempt! You're not fooling me! I know my darling Disty isn't gay!”
“You're right.” Disty nodded.
“You see?” She stood proud in her triumph.
“I'm bi.” Disterious said, drawing a nasty look from her. He looked back at her and shrugged. “I know you didn't believe me when I told you, or you just were in denial, but I told you I was.”
Solar was fuming at this point. Disterious had only seen her like this once and he had taken the brunt of her wrath. Now, however, he didn't have to explain himself nor did he have to appease her.
“Alright then, prove it.” She glowered at Disterious and pointed at Winter. “Put his cock in your mouth. You do that and I will walk out that door. You will never see me again.”
Winter gave a sudden laugh as Disterious’s eyes widened. The azure unicorn didn't hesitate to tug his shorts straight down. His blue cock popped straight up, still hardened from seeing her naked tits.
Golden blushed deep at this and put her hand on her mouth and Solar was taken aback, her jaw hitting the floor. Disty stood there for a single moment, seeing Winter’s wink at him. Then the gray unicorn smiled back and walked over to him.
He hit his knees and grabbed Winter’s shaft. Solar watched in terror as he did exactly as he was told. He nearly swallowed the blue member as he easily slid his mouth back and forth over the erection.
Golden watched in amazement as this transpired with a look of wonder. Solar was petrified. There was a very dry silence in the room as it became apparent that Disterious was getting into it. He gripped Winter's scrotum as started sucking his head, bobbing his head back and forth as a bit of precum dripped from the side of his mouth.
Winter’s breath became labored and he looked over at Solar. He pointed down toward Disty and leaned his head to the side.
“You wanna get in on this?” Winter’s voice dripped with smugness as he grinned.
Solar Flare didn't say a word as she walked around all three of them, and exited the room. Once they were sure she was gone, the tension slowly began to dissipate.
“Wow, and here I thought we were just going out for smoothies.” Golden said as she watched the two stallions have their fun. Winter chuckled a little, but started running his fingers through Disty’s mane.
“I don't know how to thank you guys.” Disty said before popping Winter’s penis back in his mouth. He tongued the shaft softly, jerking from his mouth to the base.
“You're doing a good job so far.” Winter grinned. Disterious smiled, then started sucking harder and faster, tasting the precum as it seeped into his mouth. It took no time after that for Winter to cum. The gray unicorn leaned back and let each rope of cum land on his chin and his neck. With each twitch, the blue cock splattered another small stream of jizz onto Disty’s face and shirt.
“Well, now I need a shower.” The gray unicorn chortled as he stood up, his cock protruding the front of his pajama pants to the point where it was almost facing forward.
“I’ll help!” Golden raised her hand immediately, drawing strange looks from both stallions.
Game time. The stadium was sold out early that morning with presold tickets. The seats were filling up three hours before go time when it opened its doors and ponies were lined up to the parking lot. The Nightmares got their gear on and sat in their locker room, mentally preparing for what was to come. The Canterlot Crowns were in the building, in the visitor locker room, doing much of the same and many of the Ranch U team was very aware of this fact. They had to focus, stay confident and most of all, they had to play at their peak.
They sat in a circle in their locker room, their sticks planted against the ground with both padded gloved hands gripping them tight. No one said a word, all of them just waited. Their coach had said all of the words of encouragement he had. Now, they waited.
“Ladies and gentlemen!” All of them took a deep breath as the giant voice system announced across the stadium. “Please take your seats and get ready to stand again! The excitement will begin shortly!”
“Alright, let’s get’em!” The coach motioned for them to head out of the locker room, and all of them filed straight out. Little by little, every one of them started to psyche out. They started growl and howl as they made their way through the main hallway. As they came to the ice court, the stadium went black, and the giant spotlight shined down upon them.
“Mares and gentlecolts! Give it up for the Ranch U Nightmares!” The PA shouted through the stadium, and the crowd went bonkers! The red and black clad hockey team skated out onto the ice, basking in the praise and applause of their adoring fans who have followed their games this entire time. They loved their fans, and while all of the players were beloved, the crowd favorite was Barnburner.
The black earth pony lifted his stick over his head and howled at the crowd, causing them to refuel with energy! They went absolutely crazy as the team stormed the ice and did their warm up laps.
As they cleared the ice, though, there came the next team, who was not so ceremoniously brought to the ice. They were, however, still cheered by a portion of the crowd who came all the way from the western city.
“And now, here come the Canterlot Crowns!” The purple and red uniforms stormed the ice then. The majority of them were unicorns, but there were also some earth ponies and pegasi here and there. The team captain approached Disterious. She was a younger looking purple unicorn mare who stood about a foot shorter than him. They met in the middle of the ice and stood face to face.
“Ah, Disterious, long time no see.” Diamond Cutter said as she approached, waving at him.
“Diamond! Always a pleasure. I see your team looks in tip top shape.” Disty looked around at her players as they too ran a few laps around their half of the ice.
“Likewise! You guys look like you made a full recovery,” She smiled at him and tilted her head to the side. “After your grueling defeat below our hooves. I hope the freezer burn didn’t give you a cold.” Her nice and cute tone never left.
“Oh, yes, we made a full recovery after we saw you lose a tooth to Manehattan last month. Really put a-” He mock spit to the side. “Smile on our faces!” He gave the toothiest grin back at her with a thumbs up.
The death glare she gave him was priceless. “We are gonna tear your heads off!” She growled.
“Have to reach my head first, short stuff. Good luck!” He waved at her as she started back toward his team. Golden, who heard the whole thing, looked at him with her mouth clamped shut.
“Didn’t pull any punches, did you?” She skated past him to the center of the rink.
“Now’s not the time to pull punches. You feel me?” Disterious said as they crossed paths.
That was when Golden put on her face. She took in a deep breath and settled her brain into that black place she always went when she was about to play for real. She furrowed her brow as she approached the larger unicorn opponent who approached from the other side. The space became void of sound. Her focus was absolute as the two of them laid their sticks on either side of the red circle between them. The referee approached as the crowd watched in anticipation.
Without fear, without regret, and without any doubt, she stared down the unicorn male who gazed at her with a glare that she saw through. Everything went dark around the two of them as she narrowed her gaze as far as it would go. All things she needed to know was in his eyes. The eyes were the window to his very soul. She didn’t need to be scared. It was clear that she had nothing to be afraid of because the fear was in his eyes. Seeing through him, she could see that his hesitation was there.
That’s why she knew as soon as the ref dropped the puck between them, his eyes would follow it. With the flick of her stick, she knocked the puck out of midair, straight toward her left flank. The crowd burst with cheers as the fluid movement was pulled off and the puck was in the possession of the Ranch U Nightmares.
The game was full steam now! Faces and horns hit the barriers, helmets hit the ice, sticks crossed in a horrific struggle to gain the upper hand. The puck travelled up and down the ice so many times, it almost started looking like a tornado was going to break out. The teams locked horns in furious competition and at first there was no clear winning team.
Disterious took control of the puck and took off like a pony possessed. He flew past two of the two Crowns on his tail. They tried hard to gain on him, but he was too fast for their advances. From the corner of his eye, he saw Barn as he skated past yet another opposing player. The two skated parallel to one another. As soon as Disty was able, he swooped off to the left while Barn skated straight to the right.
While the Canterlot goalie was staring at Disty, he didn’t see the transaction take place. He didn’t notice the puck speeding straight toward the net, right beside his head. As soon as he saw it, though, it was too late. Through his helmet, he could feel the wind from the puck swish against his head.
The crowd went completely crazy! With the siren going off, every Ranch U player, plus their coach pumped their fists in the air, roaring with a small victory! Their celebration was short lived, however, as the puck was in Canterlot hands now. The game went back immediately as more faceplants hit the barriers and crashes occurred all through the ice rink.
Though the Nightmares played at their very hardest, they were still getting pummeled all through the ice. The first score was theirs, but Stick Side miscalculated a shot as it came toward her. Her gloved went up too high and the puck hit the net behind her. A resounding “OOHH!” echoed through the stadium. The Crowns did a little celebration of their own as their spirits were broadened while the Nightmares’ took a hit.
Knowing that the shot could have lost them the game, even so early, Stick Side cringed hard.
“Stick!” Disty shouted as he skated away with the puck, drawing her attention. He faced her, skating backward as he beat his fist against his chest twice, then turned around and kept going. Stick nodded toward him, then centered herself once more. As soon as one of the Crowns came up toward Disterious’s side, a much larger pony than he, Barnburner was quick on the uptake. The black earth pony skidded sidelong into the brute and smashed him against the barrier with a force unfathomable.
The puck was passed to Golden Goal, who blazed a trail through the ice as another opponent, the captain, Diamond Cutter came up on her tail. The shorter unicorn mare was smaller, but she was ever so fast! After just a few moment, they were going neck and neck as Diamond was trying to get her stick on that puck. Golden gritted her teeth as she glanced toward the purple unicorn and quick as a whip, she slapped the stick away from her. Diamond didn’t let up, though. She kept the pressure on thick, and faster than Golden could react, the smaller purple unicorn got the puck away from her with a swipe. The puck flew straight toward another Crown, who gladly took it up and started back toward the enemy goal.
“Shit!” Golden growled as she stared back at the cocky bitch who swiped her puck. Diamond was fast, very fast as she skidded along the ice like a bat out of hell. She dodged left and right against the Nightmares, and made her way toward the attack zone. However, she never expected anyone to catch up to her, as she was always the fastest in every game she played. The Crowns even beat the Nightmares earlier in the season, and none of them could catch up to her in time.
However, this time around, Disterious went balls to the wall and blasted off alongside the purple unicorn. With a powerful swing, he shot the puck to the left of the Crown Captain.
“What?!” She shouted as she looked off to the side to see a Nightmare take up the puck. Her growling face turned straight toward the gray unicorn who didn’t even pay her a second thought as he went straight for the offensive.
The Nightmares started striking back, and hard! For every action the Crowns pulled, there was an equal, even greater reaction from Ranch U to counteract it.
Still tied for one, the first intermission began. All of the players got to their benches and began to rest for what brief intermission time there was.
Their faces were bewildered and their blood pressure was through the roof, more so than usual. None of them were breathing normally, they were panting so much, the transparent barrier behind them was fogging up.
“Alright, guys! You are all playing your rumps off out there! I don’t care who they think they are, they can’t take away what you’ve done here today! No matter what mistakes were made, no matter what anyone says, we still have two more periods to prove what we’ve got! Get some water in you, sit for a bit and get your gusto back. Once that horn sounds again, we’re gonna give it to them!” The coach’s voice got louder as the ice show took to the court, with the figure skaters wowing the audience. “Don’t show them your sweat, show them your grit! Now get out there and give it all you’ve got! 110%! Now’s the time! Let’s GO!” He shouted at all of them, and they gave another “HOORAH!”
Red and black battled purple and red once again. The second period came with no real surprises, but there was some pratfalls that would get shown on national sports channels for the next month. Much like many hockey games before it, there was no score in the period. There were some close calls, though.
More huffing and puffing in the second intermission. This time the coach let them be, knowing that they were playing their very hardest, and they were a little too tired to be listening to long-winded words of wisdom. Their muscles ached, their heads were being squeezed by the helmets, their ankles were getting tired, and their pressure was through the roof. The clock started its countdown to zero to start the third period.
“They’re keeping you from your victory.” The coach said, drawing all of their attention. “They want to take it away from you. All of this hard work is for the real thing. How bad do you want it?” He said to all of them, and as the horn blew, he opened the door to the ice and waved toward it, inviting them in.
All of the first string players hit the ice and got straight into formation. Golden slapped the puck out of the face-off, and took immediate control as soon as it began. Disterious took possession and maneuvered his way through the team as fast as he could go. His teammates cleared the way and kept the vultures off of his back. Then there came Diamond Cutter kicking in the afterburners. She powered straight up beside him, but without a single bit of hesitation, Disty smashed his entire body into her, plowing her head into the transparent barrier with a gigantic thud that could be heard throughout the stadium.
Without another second to lose, Disterious bulleted it straight for the goal, where he set his crosshairs directly! He saw every limb as the goalie widened his stance in front of the entire net. Like a rifle, he shot the puck straight in between the goalie’s legs and in for the goal!
The stadium’s roar could be heard from three blocks away as the crowd cheered to the heavens! Back and forth across the ice, they battled. The puck was shot for the Nightmare’s goal, but a right defensive player, Bottle Rocket caught it with the face of his helmet, which shattered into a million pieces.
The game had to be paused for a moment as his nose was bleeding and his face was scratched up from all of the facemask parts. Despite his efforts to convince them he was fine, that he just needed some tissue stuffed up his nose, he was taken to medical to confirm his condition.
As soon as the game resumed. There was only five minutes left in the game, and there was down pressure coming from every side, in every way. The players were exhausted but they didn’t want the other team to know it. Every time the other team got the puck, every player opposing them tried to line up across the ice to get a piece of them.
More falls, more splats, and more sweat drenching the insides of their helmets. Finally, Diamond Cutter was able to steal the puck once again and get it away from the Nightmares. Her speed had deteriorated over the course of the game, having sped through the ice rink several times by then. However, this didn’t stop her from out skating many players and break free of the crowd.
As soon as she was able to line up a shot, she took it immediately, and made it blast through the ice, straight for the goal. With the flick of her wrist, Stick Side caught the puck in her padded glove. This drew an enormous crowd reaction!
She passed the puck to Barnburner, who took the puck around to the back of the goal and started making his way across the ice. Leading with his shoulder, he rammed into a smaller Crown, who was smacked against the barrier as he was not hindered. He passed the puck over to Golden as he was met headlong by a defenseman. Golden controlled the puck and made a wide turn as she was met with resistance. She had the whole thing under control until Diamond Cutter, once again stole the puck straight out from under her nose.
Golden cursed as she zipped straight past her and headed back for the goal. She went almost completely unopposed in her journey across the ice. Thirty seconds left on the clock as she out ran their fastest, seeing that Disterious was on the other side of the ice, parallel with her, but that didn’t bother her. She was on the straightaway! To her, she figured she could tie the game up and obtain victory through a tie-breaker! No problem! She just had to do some fancy skate work against this one goalie, as she had to so many others in past games.
Stick Side’s eyes burned as sweat stung them mercilessly, but she could not let her guard down for one single instant! Diamond was going faster than ever now, like she had gotten her second wind or something. The pegasus goalie kept her arms loose and her stick ready for anything. She just needed to stay absolutely focused. She followed every single movement Diamond performed as if it were in slow motion. With one stride, puck right, two stride, puck left, three stride, rear up. Faster than motion, faster than a gnat in flight, speeding through the air, seemingly breaking the sound barrier, the goalie traced every nanosecond of the puck’s motion through the air as she lifted her glove.
She didn’t feel the puck’s impact. Terror struck her to her very core as she thought she had made it, but there was no repercussion of a puck jetting into her hand. Her blood went cold as tears began to flow down her cheeks.
Stick did not hear the goal siren. The crowd went absolutely BUGSHIT as the period horn sounded. She looked to her right to see Disterious with the puck in his hand, having caught it in midair. The goalie’s jaw dropped as she stared at him incredulously. He nonchalantly flicked the puck down to the ice as the entire team took to the ice!
Balloons went straight up, confetti burst all over the stadium as every single player crowded around Disterious. Diamond Cutter fell to her knees on the ice and curled up into a miserable, sobbing ball.
Golden tackled Disterious onto the ice, crying her eyes out as she howled in absolute ecstasy! “YOU DID IT! YOU FUCKING DID IT!”
Barnburner was punching his teammates on the arm, whooping uncontrollably as every single one of them flung their pads and helmets into the air! They shouted, hollered all over the place and crowded every single player as newscasters started their interviews, and around twenty TV cameras pointed toward the trophy as it was brought to the ice.
Coach Trickshot, Disterious, Barnburner, Golden, and Stick Side all stood up from the ice to marvel as the large, cup was presented to all of them by a very old pony who congratulated them as he smiled and shook their hands. Pictures were taken with them all around it and the celebrations began!
The scene had mostly settled down in the locker room, but there was still singing, mostly led by Barn. All of them showered together, it didn’t matter if they were stallion or mare, they got naked and partied in the locker room. Shaving cream was covering the locker room, despite the officials warning against it. Champaign was drank while showering and sprayed all over everyone so that they had to stay in the showers longer.
Disterious had shaken about the two hundredth hand by the time he finally got to his locker to get his pads off. Without warning, a naked and wet Golden glomped him out of nowhere. He was startled, but he laughed all the same.
“Well, hello there. You’re all kinds of naked.” He said as the tannish brown mare kissed him full on the lips for about the third time after the game.
“I don’t care! We’re fucking champions, Disty! We are going to paint this town green with envy tonight! Winter’s coming--”
“I’m here, babe.” Winter waved as he stared at Golden. “Babe, get some clothes on, you’re making the squares nervous.” He was clad in Ranch U paraphernalia with a foam red finger that he pointed at Disterious. “You are getting some serious love tonight, and I don’t just mean from me.”
“Yeah! From me too!” Barnburner shouted as he clapped the unicorn on the shoulder and whooped! “I ain’t no gay, but FUCK I love you!” He pulled Disty close and gave him a good, quick kiss on the lips, making Disty blink.
“Why are you guys giving me all the credit? You guys did just as much as I did.” Disterious said as he pulled off his undershirt, revealing the bruises on his torso. He shook his head, not surprised.
“That’s right!” Barn proclaimed, then looked at Golden, who had on her jersey and panties now. He looked at Winter for permission. Winter laughed and nodded, permitting Barn to give Golden a good, quick kiss as well. “Now, come on, get dressed, we are getting FUCKED UP tonight! WHOO!!” He was about to walk off with them to the other side of the locker room, but then he stopped and lifted one finger. “Oh yeah, and Disty. Got something for ya.”
“Oh? But I didn’t get anything for you.” Disty smiled and chortled.
“Fuck you, you got me the win, you modest bastard.” Barn laughed, and reached into his sweat pants pocket. He pulled out a puck and held it up toward Disty.
Disty eyed the puck and looked at Barn. “Is that…”

“Thanks.” Disty smiled.
