Chapter 1

Consense was walking around the forest, seeing if all the animals were protected and unharmed. Until she bumped into something and fell down on her back. She looked up to see a man... With a knife in his hand. She saw him look down at her neck, where her sapphire was. She then saw him smirk evily and grip the knife in his hand tighter, making her really scared.

“Hmm, siren... Sounds nice...”

The man grabbed Connie’s wrist and started to slice her wrist deeply, making her scream in pain. Suddenly, she heard the man scream in pain as he was sliced in the back with a sword. He fell to the ground, dead. Consense looked up again to see another figure. But this time, it looked female. Unlike the man, you couldn’t see her face because of the moonlight creating a thick shadow to cover it. She saw the girl look down at her then at her bloody wrist. She put the sword up and helped Consense up on her feet.

“T-Thanks for saving me...”

“We need to get you to my place...” The girl mumbled, Consense barely hearing her.

“What?”

“I said, we need to take you back to my place...” The girl said, a bit clearer. She then gestured to follow her, which Connie obeyed.
