Chocolate Mint is a colt from a high society family, a Prench mother and a Trottish father. He's going to the same school his father attended called "Trottingham School for Colts", a boarding school for the brightest and/or richest colts in the land. He makes new friends and bullies, but that's not the worst of it.

When he goes to spend Spring Break with his Mother in his native home of Trottland, he learns about a missing foal and the athorities have no clues of what happened. Mint must find out the secrets of Regent Castle and why his school bully is a part of it.
