Where You Belong

Spike sat next to Gabby as he began the fundamentals of planning a party, Spike was drawing up plan's, Pinkie was running around town ordering steamers and paint, Gabby was trying blow up balloon's, which turned out to be hard with a beak, she muttered grumpily looking at the deflated Balloon, and Spike offered her an air pump. She smiled and started pumping them full of air, one she was down she tried and failed to tie it shut

"Ah, this is harder than it looks" She mumbles angrily Spike took the Balloon and tied it for her,

"And now I give you, the flightless balloon," He said as he tossed it up and they watched as it fell to the ground

"Wait, Why didn't it fly!?"

"You need Helium, not air."

"But I saw Pinkie blow up a balloon with her mouth, and it flew away!" she said pointing to the set of Balloons Pinkie had set up at the example table.

"Well, her cutie mark is for parties, so she can do that kind of thing." Spike pointed to the failed balloon "But we, we can't do that." Spike turned back to their table, so far they had the table cover done. and the plate's set. Spike was in the middle of practicing gift wrapping, while Gabby used the tank to blow up balloons

"Spike I still can't tie them" she called, Spike got back up and made his own Balloon

"Alright look" Spike held up the Balloon and slowly tied it, "now you try" She did and it resulted in it blasting off

"WHY IS THIS SO HARD!?" She Complained, she looked over at Spike who had the biggest gloating smile on his face

"What?" She asked

"Guess there is something you can't do...tie a balloon!" Spike laughed at this and earned a bop on the head with the book "Alright watch, I'll do it as slow as I can" Spike began tying it as slow as he could and Gabby began mimicking him slowly, on the third try she did it

"Ah Spike look, I Did it" She squealed, showing him her balloon, Spike took a string and tied it around the balloon, once they were tied up to the Table Spike looked back at Gabby who was now inflating and tying all the balloons

"Whoa, Gabby I think that's enough!" Spike yelled at the mess of balloons now strung up all over the place, "Spike looked a the list "Alright, Pinkie said I'm not allowed to get the cake..."

"I wonder why?" Gabby joked

"Gee, thanks, not Like I just taught you how to tie a balloon or anything"

"Oh don't be grumpy Spike, I'm just playing with you"

"What Kind of playing?" Pinkie demanded, popping out of a bush and making them both jump

"The Teasing kind," They both said, Pinkie looked at them, then gave them the "I'm watching you" Hand signal, then sunk back into the bush, Gabby looked at the bush in silence, then looked at Spike, who was looked back at her, after a silence Spike snorted

"I wasn't ready for that at all," He said,

"How long was she there? Is she still there?"

"No!" Pinkie called, popping out from a tree, "I'm not" she repeated her sign then popped back into the tree, Gabby shook her head

"I Give up" She declared "I can't figure her out"

"Just accept it and move on," Spike told her as he tied the balloons down "Now we just need to wait for Pinkie to bring up the Cake, paint's, and the banner" There was a rustling, and the two watched as Pinkie rocketed off to get her list done fast

"Nice" Gabby said, "So, it's been like 10 minutes since we started doing this, do you have anything Horn-dogish to say?"

"Yeah, I'm sad I missed the full show" Spike replied without hesitation, earning a bop on the head

"Yeah? Well, I didn't even get a show, so you can Suck it..."

"Hold it" Pinkie yelled popping out of the bush "All I hear was "You can Suck it.." But that's all I needed to hear, I Said no Hanky Panky!" She said pushing the two to opposite sides of the Table and making a tape line "So you two Horny Teen's get to stay on opposite sides of the Tape" With that Pinkie ran back off, leaving behind a Cake.

"Oh, Great" Gabby sighed "Now she thinks I'm a Horn-Dog! I was gonna say suck it up!"

"That might have made it worse," Spike said as he frosted the Cake, after a moment he nodded and slid it across the table, Gabby looked at it and had to hold back her laughter

"Why did you do that" She snorted, on the Cake where the words Happy Horn-Dog Day "Spike that's awful." Gabby laughed when a voice yelled out

"Hey, Spike!" Spike and Gabby turned to be greeted by the arrival of somepony neither of them had been prepared to see

"C..Cadence!?" Spike asked, immediately regretting the Cake joke, he turned to Gabby, who had instantly covered the cake

"Is that Princess Cadence?" She asked

"Yeah, I know her," Spike said as he greeted Cadence "Hi Cadence what bring's you here?"

"Oh, Twilight asked me to come by her school to help her prepare a Sex Ed Class...and who's your friend"

"This is Gabby," Spike said, doing a good job of not freaking out. Gabby not so much

"Oh, um...h..hello, Princess...nice to greet you...I mean Meet you!" She said excepting Cadence's handshake

"What are you two up two...and what' with the Tape? She asked noticing the Tape line that separated the two

"Long story" Spike responded "If you're looking for Twilight, she's at the school"

"I know, but Starlight said you were off doing something with a Girl, and I just had to meet her!" Cadence said happily "I hope you two aren't doing anything Inappropriate," She said, with a shine in her eye

"Wow," Gabby said "Everypony you know really is like this" She realized

"Yup" Spike responded "And no Cadence we haven't done anything inappropriate" Cadence squinted at him

"I sense that's not the entire truth" suddenly a voice rang out above them

"2nd Base" Rainbow Dash called out making all three look up at her floating by on a cloud "They got to second base!"

"That is NOT what 2nd Base means Dash!" Spike yelled back "2nd Base is above the waist!" Spike realized that that sounded really bad out loud and sighed looking back at Cadence

"That would be 3rd base!" Cadence said shaking in joy "Oh, I Have to tell Shining!" With that, she teleported away

"Well I just made this 100 times worse," Spike said with a shake of his head

"What's 3rd Base?" Spike whispered in her ear and Gabby's face turned red "WE DIDN'T DO THAT!" Gabby sighed "Ah no, now a Princess Think's I've given you a..." Spike covered her mouth.

"Shh...I smell Paint" The two ran to opposite side's of the table, and found Pinkie was waiting for them, squinting suspiciously

"I hear someone yelling" Spike pointed up to where Rainbow Dash was still watching them

"How long have you been following us?" Gabby asked

"Since you left Rarity's" She called back "Might I ask what Show you missed Gabby?" Rainbow asked, clearly having already figured it out

"No, no you may not" Gabby responded as she watched Spike paint a banner, and snorted, Pinkie looked at it and nodded

"Yeah, that's about right" and with that, she Hung up the Happy Horn-Dog Day Banner, Gabby lay down the Cake with the same slogan, and Rainbow Laughed

"You two are both Horn-Dogs!" She laughed into her cloud, as Pinkie looked up

"That's why the tape is there Dashie!" She called as Gabby looked at Spike

"So? Did you enjoy doing this?"

"Not at all, though I seem to be pretty good at." Gabby nodded marking it off the list and adding 'Not fun, but very good at it' on the page, then began flipping through the pages, after a moment she sighed

"I'm hungry,"

"Cake?" Pinkie offered

"I'm Hungry, but not for Cake" Gabby replied

"Wanna go get a bite while we think of something else to do?" Spike asked, "I hear they recently opened a restaurant that serves food for all species!"

"Oh! That sounds fun!" As the two took to the sky's with a quick thank you to Pinkie she watched them go

"Hey, Dashie! Wanna go spy on them?"

"Let's do it!" She responded landing next to Pinkie
