Several years after Meteor was destroyed, Rufus Shinra comes to find out from his scientists that a small chunk of meteor was never destroyed, but instead thrown towards Mars. Now, after years of slowly gaining speed in Mars orbit, it has broken loose and is speeding towards Earth. Once again, Rufus Shinra and his turks must join forces with the Avalanche team once again to stop the destruction of Meteor. Cid Highwind constructs a ship, specialized with a unique warhead that if any source of mako touched it, it would sent light years away, ship included with plenty of tools, supplies, food, and equipment to repair the ship to return. So Cloud, Tifa, Cid, and Barret set off to find the rest of the team ................however, they didn't count on Denzal, Cloud and Tifa's adopted son, and his gang of young mercenaries hijacking the ship and taking on Meteor on their own, the operation is a success, however the ship turns out, wasn't finished. After coming out of hyperspace, the youngsters crash land and become separated on a strange colorful planet.
