I hate you! No, I hate YOU! No, I hate you MORE!

Firelight was a stallion who enjoyed things being where he felt they should be. Everything in his home was neat, tidy, organized and immaculately well-kept. It was the kind of attention to detail that even the infamously neatness-obsessed Princess Twilight would approve of. And so it was that he was getting down to adjusting one of the many vases that dotted the shelves of his home, making sure to get it just the right distance from the edge for his liking. When he was at last satisfied, he gave a proud smile, nodding to himself.

And that's when she turned up.

"FIRELIGHT!!!"

The unplanned, and unwelcome arrival of Stellar bursting through his front door had the expected effect of sending so many vibration around the place that his precious vase was nudged just the tiniest bit off where it was before. This annoyed Firelight, as shown by the twitch he had in his eye. But, ever the host, he took a deep breath, then turned and forced a smile to his obviously-enraged neighbour.

"Stellar. What a...wonderful surprise," he remarked through gritted teeth.

The mare, rolling her eyes, marched right up to him.

"Don't try and put the charm on me, Fire!"

Raising a hoof, she shoved a piece of paper into his face.

"Explain this!"

Taking the document, the stallion looked it over for a while, then smiled.

"Ah, yes. I was hoping you'd notice. I've been petitioning around the neighbourhood to try and get the Field of Frolicking declared a site of historic importance."

Stellar frowned.

"Fire...it's a sodden marshland filled with weeds! It hasn't been 'frolicked' in since you and I were foals!"

But Firelight waved her off.

"It's still an important part of our town's heritage. We all have to do our part to try and respect the past after all."

To that, Stellar slapped her own forehead.

"Oh, for the love of Celestia! This is exactly your problem, Fire! Do you know how much could have been built on that land?!"

This time, it was Firelight's turn to frown.

"Oh, like one of your beloved perfume stores? Or another clothes store, even though we already have a dozen of them?!"

Stellar smirked.

"Bah! I wouldn't expect some old-timer like you to appreciate all the new and dynamic clothing styles that are coming out! They can't all be held in just one store!"

Her own frown returned.

"And even if they weren't necessary, they'd still be more welcome around here than some empty plot of dirt that, at most, has one or two worms living in it!"

Firelight took a step forward.

"You are far to eager to just cut out the past, Stellar! Like it was nothing!"

Stellar too took a step forward.

"And you, Fire, are too quick to turn your back on progress!"

The two came nose-to-nose with one another.

"Think of our heritage!" Firelight shouted.

"Think of our future!" Stellar spat back.

They stayed like this for some time, a scene that had been seen far too many times to count by those who lived in Sire's Hollow. These two, the loudest voices in the community, butting heads and showing their utter distaste for one another. It was playing out exactly as it always did, and would most likely end with the two fuming off, hating each other just as much as when they started. However, in this private environment, that was not what happened. Instead, and in a way that would have shocked any other resident of the town, the two actually started kissing each other. And when I say "kissing" I mean kissing. They outright went to town on one another, making out in a passionate way that only the most familiar of lovers would do.

Yet there was a noticeable lack of warmth in this little impromptu get-together, replaced instead with a clear aggression. Each partner was trying to be the "one on top", being the more involved, the more vigorous. It was like a fight, except instead of punches and kicks it was just making out. Eventually, and after a good long while of this, their lips parted, and they stared angrily at each other.

"I hate you!" Firelight declared.

"No, I hate you!" Stellar countered.

"No, I hate you more!" Firelight bounced back.

This went on for some time, and soon, the two continued their little affair on the move, going from room to room, with their lips never leaving the other. Naturally, this caused more than a little destruction along the way, with tables knocked over, carpets swept out of place, and soon the hallway looked like a tornado had blown through it. Eventually though they came upon the destination that anyone could have seen coming at this point. The bedroom. Here, in a brief moment of dominance, Stellar pushed her partner away, causing him to land with an "oomph" on the bed.

"You'd better be better at this than last time, Fire!" she demanded.

Through his narrow glare, Firelight smirked.

"Oh, I'll show you better!"

Stellar, in response, leapt onto the bed, and after a quick tussle with the stallion, she was lying belly-down upon the soft mattress, her hind-quarters raised up I readiness. Firelight wasted no time, and began to mount her, the anticipation of the moment having caused him to "unsheathe" some time ago. Stellar gritted her teeth, never allowing herself to yelp out in either anticipation or pleasure, even as she felt the stallion finally penetrate her. He filled her completely, eliciting a tidal wave of good feelings through her. Firelight too felt immense satisfaction from being in such a tight mare, but, as both of them still had their pride to consider, neither one of them was willing to let the other know that.

"So...ugh...good enough for you?" Firelight asked sarcastically.

"Ha! You're going...ah...to have...oh...to do better than that!" Stellar replied.

Whether the two of them knew that the other was bluffing, none could say. Hell, maybe they did know but just took some perverse enjoyment out of this little game of pretending to be unsatisfied by the other. However, the one thing they did acknowledge, if only to themselves, was that this right here was some seriously good hate-sex. It was a strange notion, willing bedding of one you despised, and yet here they were, enjoying every last moment of it. Every thrust, of which there were many, was done with great effort, as Firelight pulled out and shot back into her. Stellar, for her part, was a strong mare, and took each thrust in stride, making sure to keep her pleasured smirk hidden from her neighbour.

"You're...gonna...go...first!" she announced.

Firelight looked positively amused by that.

"Not...on...your...life!"

In and out, in and out, he kept up the pace, which was fairly impressive for a stallion his age. And Stellar too was, to her annoyance, starting to reach her limit, and could feel that she was indeed approaching climax. She shut her eyes tightly, as indeed did Firelight, and within moments, the latter finally thrust one last time, causing both of them to peak simultaneously. They screamed in ecstasy, a flood of fluids pouring from both of them. It was over, and both of them felt exhausted from it. They sweated, they panted, and after a few moments more, they collapsed. All that could be heard for a time afterwards was their breathing, and as Firelight finally pulled himself out of the mare, he looked to her with narrowed eyes.

"Told you. You...came first."

Stellar chuckled.

"Sure...you keep telling yourself that."

Again, silence fell, and when it broken, it was again Firelight who spoke.

"So...same time next week?"

Stellar thought on that, then smirked again.

"Well...I am planning on asking one of those fast-food chains to set up shop in our town."

Firelight blinked to that, then looked to her with pure loathing.

"I hate you...so very much."

As Stellar looked back to him, she maintained her look of satisfaction.

"In that case...I'd say it will be same time next week."
