"Because its magic." Trixie said. "And you said you could use a little bit of your magic to switch things up for us. The Great and Powerful Trixie needs some new acts. Hers are getting...old." "If by old you mean incredibly boring to the point one desires to remove their own eyeballs, then yes. It's old." Discord said, removing his eyes and juggling them momentarily before popping them back into place. Trixie glared up at him. "If Trixie did not need you for the show," she said angrily, "she would turn you into nail and beat you into the wall of a solid brick house with a sledgehammer." "What, to really...drive the point home?" Discord joked with a smirk. "Trixie hates you right now." The magician growled. Discord chuckled. "Ok, ok, break it up, you two!" Starlight interrupted. "As entertaining as this is, we've got to practice for the show. We have two days, and we're not ready." "Oh, please! Trixie is always ready!" Trixie said. "Well...except for the rare times she isn't..." "Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds?" Discord asked. Trixie glared at him. "I'm here!" Thorax dropped lightly to the ground alongside Starlight. He looked at the other two, then back to the mare beside him. "Am I late? What did I miss?" "Nothing much." Starlight said, rolling her eyes. "Just these two going at each other...again." Thorax laughed. "Well, I'm ready to practice." He said. "This will be fun! I've never been in a magic show before." That got Trixie's attention. "Never?!" She said. "Well, then. You're in for a treat! The Great and Powerful Trixie's Magic Show is the best in Equestria!" "That is quite debatable." Discord stated. Trixie glared at him again. "One more jab, Discord, just one..." she fumed. "And Trixie will...will...drop a drumset on your head!!" It was the first thing that had come to mind. Discord grinned deviously and leaned close to her. Starlight, instantly recognising the opening Trixie had given Discord without meaning to, groaned. "Oh no..." "So..." Discord smirked. "You'll really...drop the beat? Hmm?" Starlight facehoofed. "Sweet Celestia!" Trixie groaned. "Make him stop!" "You asked for that, Boss." Discord said, chuckling. Trixie glowered. "Enough!" She snapped. "Less talking, more working! This show won't run itself!" She led her small troupe through various routines and excercises. The three were quick learners and (sort of)willing pupils. After over an hour, Trixie called a halt and faced them. "Alright." She said. "Trixie wishes to try something very new in her show. So for our final act, we will be doing what Trixie, with Starlight's help, calls the Great and Powerful Personality Switch. Starlight?" The other unicorn coughed. "I have created a spell that will cause an illusion that makes us look like we've switched personalities and bodies...only we won't really. We'll each just act like the pony, or chsngeling, or draconequis, we look like to the audience. In other words, I'll cast the spell and I may look like Discord, which means Discord will look like me...but the change is only visual. Sort of like, well, what Thorax can do when he takes on the looks of any pony he wants to. Get it? Then, for this example, I would act like Discord, and he would act like me." Thorax and Discord stared blankly at them for a moment before that all sank in and they both suddenly grinned and nodded. "This is only an illusion." Trixie said. "And will only last up to about five minutes. But we need to practice now before the actual show, so we know what to do and are comfortable assuming each others' characters. Starlight?" Starlight lit her horn, and all four of them glowed. She grunted as a small pain poked at her head. "I think...I got it...just..." BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!! The massive explosion of magic sent the group flying in different directions. Once the smoke and fog cleared, Starlight groaned. "That wasn't supposed to happen. I must have...GAAAAAAH!" She ended on a screech. The four of them had picked themselves up, dazed, and now stood gaping at one another. "Starlight!!" Trixie yelled. "You...you...how...?" The spell had backfired spectacularly. They had all literally switched bodies. And colors. Starlight was in Trixie's, Trixie was in Starlight's, and Thorax and Discord were in each other's. Discord eyed his colorful changeling body and huffed. Thorax eyed his large, black draconequis body and blinked. Starlight eyed her pink body with Trixie's cutie marks and rolled her eyes. Trixie stood slackjawed, looking at her blue body with Starlight's cutie marks. "What did you do???!" Trixie yelled. "We switched bodies and colors and...WHAT DID YOU DO??!" "I don't know!" Starlight cried. "This wasn't supposed to happen!!! I worked carefully on this spell!!!" "Well not carefully enough, obviously!!" Trixie shouted angrily. "We're not...us!!!" "Do you know what this means?" Discord asked, smirking. The others glared at the draconequis...er....changeling. Uh, drancone-changeling? "This spells disaster!" He barely avoided the magic lamp Trixie flung at him. "Switch us back!!" Trixie yelled at Starlight. "I don't know if I can!" Starlight said. "First of all, I don't think I have a spell for this, and secondly, you are in my body, which means you have control of my magic and I have control of yours!" As soon as she said it, she froze. 'Oh celestia...that's not good...' "Think of something!" Trixie shouted. Then she blinked. "Wait... Trixie now has your magic?" She grinned. "Trixie, don't even think about...whatever it is you're thinking about!" Starlight warned. "My magical abilities surpass some of Twilight's...it isn't something to play around with. You could hurt yourself." "Oh please! The Great and Powerful Trixie laughs in the face of pain!" Trixie retorted, before her horn lit up. "Trixie, don't do that!" Starlight cried, but it was too last. The magician had called on the full force of Starlight's magic to teleport herself. Right smack dab into the trunk of a large tree. "Trixie!" Trixie let out a long, loud groan. "Owwwwwwwww..." "You ok?" Starlight asked. Trixie sat up. "Trixie apologises for the bruises your body will have from that." She said, grimacing. "Also, that really hurt. The Great and Powerful Trixie is not laughing in the face of pain. Now, or ever. Ooh..." Starlight rolled her eyes. "I tried to tell you." She said. "Indeed she did!" Discord chimed in helpfully. "Guess you found out that powerful magic can be a real pain." "Oh, shut it, Discord!" Trixie groaned. "Trixie hurts too much for jokes. Ow." She looked up at her friend. "Starlight, do something to fix this. Please? Trixie does not believe Ponyville needs us running around like this." "I for one find it amusing." Discord said. "I've never been a changeling before. And if you have each other's magic, then I have Thorax's, and..." He broke off, eyes impossibly wide. The two unicorns apparently came to the same realisation he had, because three pairs of eyes settled on draconequis Thorax. He blinked. "Why are you all looking at me like that?" "Um, Thorax?" Starlight said. "How are you feeling?" "Fine." He said. "I'm not too happy about being trapped in Discord's body, but I'm fine." "Ok, good." Starlight said. "Try not to use any magic, ok?" "What? Why?" "Because we've all switched not only colors and bodies, but magical abilities." Starlight explained. "Which means I have Trixie's, she has mine, Discord has your, and you...have Discord's." "Starlight, I demand you undo this at once!" Discord snapped. "I want my own magic back, thank you very much!" "Discord, have you not been listening?" Starlight huffed. "I don't have a spell for it right now, and if I did, Trixie is in control of my magic, which means I wouldn't be able to cast the spell anyway!" "Well, this is a fine mess!" Discord griped. "Just you wait, Starlight Glimmer. I am going to tell Twilight on you!" "Fighting won't solve anything." Thorax spoke up. "Starlight, is there any pony you could ask?" Starlight blinked. Then she nodded. "Yes, but...but I don't know exactly how to explain to them." "Ohhhhh...you mean your friends!" Discord said. "Not to worry, Starlight. I will tell them exactly how you switched us all around with some crazy spell!" He glared. "Starlight, do you think you can get Twilight to help out?" Trixie asked. "Yes. She'll help. But oh, will I be in trouble!" "If she can undo this..." Trixie said. Starlight groaned. "I can't tell her, Trixie! She'll switch us back and then she'll kill me!" She said worriedly. "Um, I don't think you've got any choice." Thorax said. "No! I'll figure this out! I have to!" Starlight said. "Twilight can't find out!" "Fine." Trixie huffed. "You have 24 hours, Starlight. Or we are going to the castle to have Twilight undo it!" Starlight looked from one of her companions to the other, then groaned. "I'll fix it. Somehow." It had been a long night, and she was still unsure as to how in the wide world of Equestria she was going to switch herself and her three friends back to normal. "Please tell me you have good news." Trixie said, entering the castle library. "No. I don't." "Starlight..." "What?!" "Did you sleep at all last night?" "Oh please, Trixie! You gave me 24 hours to fix a spell that I don't know how to fix because I don't know what went wrong with it to start with and you expect me to get any sleep??!" Trixie stared at her flustered friend. "Well, when you put it that way...then yes. Trixie can see why you didn't sleep." "Yeah." Starlight said. "We're just lucky Twilight went to Canterlot yesterday with plans to stay for a couple of days. Otherwise I wouldn't be having this conversation with you...unless one can have a chat from the moon." Trixie snorted. "Twilight won't send you to the moon! The Great and Powerful Trixie will stop her!" "The Great and Powerful Trixie will be right beside me as my accomplice." Starlight deadpanned. "Oh. Right." Trixie glared. "Fix this, Starlight. Fix it now! Do something! Trixie has no desire to live the rest of her life in your body!!" "And what exactly is wrong with my body?! Except that it's, well...mine?" Starlight demanded. "Nothing!" Trixie burst out. "Nothing is wrong with it! Its...its nice, and...and pretty...and...and...Ugh!! Just fix the spell, for Celestia's sake!!" Starlight couldn't help but giggle as the Great and Flustered Trixie stormed from the room. She grabbed yet another spell book and started to read. Then a thought occured to her. "Trixie!!!" "WHAT?" came the answering yell. "Where's Discord and Thorax???" No reply. "Trixie!!!" The magician poked her head in. "What was that?" "Where's Discord and Thorax?!" "Ohhhhh...them. Eh, they went out for a stroll through town." And Trixie disappeared again. Starlight sighed. "Oh, ok. Well, so long as they're...wait, they WHAT??! Are they crazy?! They can't be seen out like that! Then somepony will send for Twilight and I'll get caught and Twilight will get really, really mad and then its goodbye Starlight Glimmer for Celestia knows how long!!!" "Ha! Gotcha!" Trixie said, reappearing. "They're in the throne room playing cards." "Trixie! You almost gave me a heart attack with that!" "Haha...you should have seen your face! Priceless!" "Don't ever do that to me again." "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go join the guys in their card game." And she was gone again. Starlight growled in frustration. It was bad enough she couldn't find what she needed to reverse what she had done, she didn't need Trixie giving her heart problems on top of it. She went back to her book. A sudden pop let her know somepony had teleported in. She froze. "I did it!" Trixie yelled triumphantly. "Good job, Trixie!" Thorax praised. "Yes, yes, impressive. Now hush up so I can win this round!" Discord said. Starlight turned to discover that Teixie had successfully teleported herself and her companions, as well as their chairs and card table, into the library. Trixie was beaming. "Can I go back to my reading now?" Starlight asked, before turning back to the book. "And...there! I win again!" Discord crowed. "Oh now, come on!" Trixie said. "Trixie insists you're cheating!" "Why, I would never!" Discord exclaimed. "And besides, even if I would, I can't. I would need a certain amount of my magic, which, if you will recall, Thorax controls for now. Which reminds me. Starlight! How's it going?" "Its not." Starlight slammed the book shut and threw it down in frustration. "I can't find anything to help me fix our...current problem. If I knew what went wrong in the spell, I might be able to figure out a starting point for fixing it. But I don't." "I should club you." Discord huffed, holding up a playing card. "Not laughing." Starlight muttered. "Oh, now, come on! That was funny!" Discord insisted. He took note of Starlight's rather depressed expression. "Never mind." "Look," Trixie spoke up. "Starlight, if Twilight can help, then why not tell her? She can switch us all back and we'll all stand by you and take some of the blame. Then she won't be mad at just you." "Well, I won't take any blame! How is this even remotely my fault??!" Discord demanded. "It's all her fault! And yours. But not mine!" "We'll all share the blame." Trixie repeated, giving him a death glare, daring him to refuse. "Oh, fine! But this is my very last great friendship sacrifice for you for a month!" He said sternly. "Unless, of course, you're Fluttershy. Then that's different." "Your loyalty is overwhelming." Trixie said drily. "Look, guys, I'll fix this!" Starlight said. "And if I don't, you don't have to stick up for me." "Oh thank goodness!" Discord said in genuine relief. "We want to stick up for you." Trixie said, glaring at Discord. "And honestly, Starlight...its already been fairly close to 24 hours and you haven't come up with a thing." "I will." Starlight promised, before going and collecting more spell books. But she didn't. She spent all day and all night at it. By the next day she was exhausted and had covered every spell she could find. Nothing. She gave a growl and flung the books aside. "Its hopeless!" She mourned. "I can't find anything!" "So you're...throwing the book at the problem?" Discord asked. "Not now, Discord." Thorax advised. "I don't think Starlight is in a joking mood." "I don't have a clue what to do." Starlight said, looking up. "Remarkably, we've kept this a secret so far. But then, we've been holed up in here, so it was pretty easy." At that moment, the door to the library opened, and Spike entered. He stopped short and stared at the group, expression nuetral. After a long moment, he spoke. "Do I need to forget this moment ever happened?" He asked, tone completely void of shock or surprise. Or of any emotion really. "Please." Starlight answered. "A brand new Power Ponies comic book, a batch of extra gem-chip cookies, and Twilight never hears a word of this from me." Again, barely any emotion. "Deal." Spike grabbed a stack of magazines by the desk and turned to go. He paused at the door. "Twilight will be back in time for dinner tonight, Starlight. She'll want to see you." "I'll throw in an extra batch of gem-chip cookies if you tell her I went with Trixie to Las Pegasus and won't be back til tomorrow." Starlight said. "Make it two extra batches and you have a deal." "Done." Spike walked out, closing the door behind him. Trixie turned to Starlight with an expression of amazement on her face. "Did you just...did he...what just happened??!" "Twilight will be back by dinner tonight." Starlight said. "I either have to come up with a way to fix this, come up with a very good excuse for it so she'll switch us back, or..." She broke off. "Or what?" Thorax asked curiously. Starlight sighed. "Or...plan an indefinite vacation for all four of us to Las Pegasus." "This is not how Trixie planned to spend two days of her life!" Trixie huffed. "Well, I have tea with Fluttershy day after tomorrow!" Discord said, indignantly. Thorax said nothing, but he didn't look happy. "I'm sorry." Starlight said. "I should have paid more attention to the spell. If I had, we wouldn't be in this mess." "See??" Discord said. "Didn't Twilight tell you to pay attention to your spelling?" The ConclusionView OnlineMassive Magical MishapThe ConclusionTrixie paced furiously the closer it got to dinner time. Discord and Thorax were no longer playing cards, and Starlight was busy collecting several spell books she thought might contain more information than what her tired brain could gather. She planned on resting, then studying some more. "Trixie thinks we should leave before Twilight gets here!" Trixie said worriedly. "I don't plan on leaving the castle, Trixie." Starlight said. "I plan on having us all go up to the attic. Twilight never goes up there. We should be safe enough while I try to figure this out. I've got the books I want. Lets go!" She led the way to the attic. The others were quite astonished to find that one corner of it had been decked out with a sofa, a coffee table, a chair, a small lamp, and a bookshelf. "Welcome to my secret reading nook." Starlight said, turning the lamp on. "And don't worry. When it gets dark outside, nopony will notice a light up here. I rigged a Blackout Spell. Once the sun sets, it activates, cloaking the windows and keeping up the impression there's no lights on." "Huh." Trixie said. "Trixie is impressed." Discord and Thorax sat down on each side of the table and resumed their earlier card game. "We do need to eat dinner, you know." Trixie said, eyeing Starlight. "I know. Already thought of that." Starlight said. She pulled open a tall chest and the others stared. It was full of various snacks and treats. "Well, now I'm impressed!" Discord said. While the others set to eating something, Starlight dragged out her books and started reading. The hours passed. Trixie nodded off to sleep about ten, with Discord and Thorax following an hour later. Starlight stayed up through the night, making it her third night in a row with no sleep. When Trixie woke up, Starlight was just finishing a book, which she threw aside. "No luck?" Trixie asked. "No." Starlight groaned. "Starlight, what if you're over thinking it?" Starlight blinked. "Huh?" "Well, you've read the same ten books three times with no results. Maybe you should rest. Stop thinking. Just relax." Starlight yawned. "Well...ok." She trotted to the couch and sprawled on it. In minutes she was out cold and Trixie covered her up. "Ah, you've got her covered, I see." Discord spoke. "Discord." Trixie growled. "Can the jokes!" "Can they what?" Discord smirked. "Ugh!!" When Starlight woke up hours later, it was with a very refreshed mind. She tackled her reading with renewed energy...and came up empty again. "Ugh! Why can't I figure this out?!" She growled. "Maybe you are over thinking it." Discord said helpfully. Starlight sighed. Maybe she was. She got up and started to pace. As she did, she took derp breaths and willed herself to calm down. "Wait." She said. "I think I have it! I think I know what..." The door to the attic crashed open and Twilight bounded in. "I know its here someplace. I remember I put the box right over...hey Starlight....yeah, right over...wait." She turned. "Starlight?!" She looked from one to the other, eyes widening with each glance. Her mouth hung open and it took a full minute for her to speak. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Starlight looked at Trixie, Trixie looked at Discord, Discord looked at Thorax, and Thorax looked at Starlight. Starlight looked back at the now hyperventalating Twilight. "Uh oh." ********************************** It took a while to calm Twilight down and convince her that their being switched had nothing to do with dark magic and there were no enemies to destroy. Once she was much calmer, she took a closer look at them. "How did it happen?" She asked. "Uh, well..." Starlight said slowly. "It's kind of a funny story, Twilight. See, we planned a magic show, and needed a grand finale, so Trixie and I concocted a Great and Powerful Personality Switch spell and I set it up and performed it...only it, kinda backfired." Twilight's eye twitched. "You what? What exactly was your spell for?" Starlight explained what the spell should have done, and with each word Twilight's eye twitched more rapidly. When she finished, Twilight met her student's gaze. "You created and performed a potentially dangerous spell for a magic act?!" She demanded. "Um...yes?" Starlight said. "In her defense, it was supposed to work exactly like she said it was." Trixie spoke up. "That doesn't matter!" Twilight exploded. "You could have gotten hurt!!!" "But we didn't!" Starlight said. "Well...except for right after when Trixie teleported herself into a tree, but...but that was an accident! And it barely left a bruise on her! Or me, rather, since she was in my body. The point is, it was a perfectly safe spell!" "Oh really? Then explain to me how you all managed to end up switching bodies, colors, and magical abilities?!" Twilight snapped. "Uh, well...the...the spell...had a flaw?" Starlight said hesitantly. "Yeah, Starlight, no joke!!!" Twilight was positively livid. "You could have all wound up permanantly damaged!" "Oh, poo." Discord scoffed. "So we changed bodies and had to go without our own magic for two days. Big deal. It's not like we turned evil again and tried to take over Equestria." "Discord, be quiet!" Twilight ordered. "I will not!" He returned. "It was a good spell! So it flopped. Who cares? She'll fix it and do it right next time!" Starlight grinned as Discord came to her rescue, in spite of his previous griping about doing so. "Quiet!" Twilight commanded. "No! I think its unfair of you to spoil our fun, Twilight!" Discord insisted. "None of us got hurt, so stop being so...so mother henish!" "Discord, don't make me bring Fluttershy into this!" Twilight said warningly. "I'm sure she'd be thrilled to know you got involved in a highly dangerous venture!" "Oh no. Not Fluttershy!" Discord exclaimed in genuine worry. "Why, she'll be furious. Don't bring her into this, Twilight!" "Then hush!!!" Discord clamped his mouth shut. "Now," Twilight looked at the other three, eyes narrowed. "Trixie. I know you want to have a great magic show, but coming up with the plan for a dangerous spell is not appropriate! I don't care how great you want your show to be!!" Trixie had the decency to look reasonably contrite as she focused on a very interesting spot on the floor near her hooves. Twilight turned slightly and looked at Thorax. Her mind blanked, her mouth hung motionless. "You don't need to say it." He said. "I know. It wasn't a good plan." Twilight took a breath and focused on Starlight. "I don't even know where to start with you!" She said sternly. "It was a completely irresponsible thing to do!" "Twilight, I'm telling you, I went over that spell carefully!" Starlight said defensively. "I checked it three times! I even made sure it..." She broke off. Twilight was standing snout to snout with her, her eyes boring into hers with a stare that paled a bit in comparison to Fluttershy's infamous one, yet would still make the pegasus proud anyway. Starlight cringed. "You obviously didn't check it enough! Or else you miscalculated someplace!" Twilight said sternly. "That spell was clearly risky, and could have hurt you!" "Ok. I'll be more careful with my spells." Starlight said. "Not the point!" Twilight huffed. "The point is, don't try spells than can cause harm! Even if it had worked, it wasn't a very good plan! You just need to be yourselves in a magic show. Have fun. Not attempt to injure yourselves!" "Yeah, ok." Trixie said. "Good chat. Now please, switch us back!!" Twilight glared at them, drawing a breath and debating her next words. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't just leave you to do it yourselves." "Because I can't figure out any kind of reversal spell for this!" Starlight said. "I've tried for two days! I would have kept trying if you hadn't discovered us, but it would have taken me a really long time!" Twilight rolled her eyes. "Fine." Her horn glowed and minutes later they were all their normal selves. "Yes! I'm back!" Discord shouted, snapping his talons several times and making it rain chocolate milk on Starlight's head. She growled and glared at him before casting a spell to clean up. Trixie tested her magic by turning a plate into a flying saucer, complete with a teacup riding precariously on it. Thorax changed himself into a clone of Twilight, then Starlight, then back again to himself, smiling in relief. "Alright, you're all switched back." Twilight said. "And I have one more thing to say to you." Four pairs of eyes focused on her intently, not to mention worriedly. "If anything even closely related to this happens again," Twilight said icily,"Starlight, Trixie, Thorax...I'll banish you to the moon for an undetermined amount of time!" The three in question winced. Discord then spoke up. "What about me?" He asked. "There really isn't much you can threaten me with." "Oh yes, there is." Twilight smirked. "I'll turn you over to Fluttershy, along with a complete list of your actions." Discord turned positively pale at those words. Other than the Elements of Harmony(which couldn't really be used against him due to Fluttershy's long ago promise not to use hers on him), Fluttershy was the only thing that actually scared him. Which was funny, considering her gentle nature. "Ok, ok!" He said anxiously. Twilight glared at each one in turn. "No more dangerous magic acts! None! Do I make myself clear??" "Very." Starlight said. Twilight turned and left the room, muttering under her breath about idiotic stunts. For a long moment, no one moved or spoke. Then Trixie broke the silence. "So, check the spell and test it again?" "Got it." Starlight answered. "I'll lend some assistance." Discord offered. "Make sure it doesn't backfire this time." "Thanks." Starlight said. "The Great and Powerful Trixie's Magic Show will be even better with this act!" Trixie announced. "Do none of you remember Twilight's threats?" Thorax asked. "Don't worry!" Starlight said. "Once I double check my work and make sure its right, nothing will go wrong." "If you say so." Thorax said worriedly. Starlight grabbed a paper. "Let me just check here...add...uh huh...add...yeah...oh no, take that out, add this...no, wait, add over here...hmmm...oh, and if you divide here..." Her speech faded into incohereant muttering. "Did any one ever tell you that you are extremely calculating?" Discord asked with a slight grin. "Oh, be quiet, Discord!" Trixie snapped. "She's concentrating! And besides that, your jokes are really starting to hurt my head!" "Got it!" Starlight crowed. Her horn lit up, and a flash of loud, bright magic filled the room. Once they could see, they examined themselves. Starlight growled. "Oh for crying out loud!! Again??! What is wrong with this spell??! I went over everything carefully!" "Trixie thinks we should have listened to Twilight." Trixie said. "Oh, so now you tell me that!" Starlight exclaimed. "Well, why did you agree to try it again?!" Trixie demanded. "Honestly, I'm beginning to have fun." Discord said, chuckling. "Well, we won't when Twilight finds out!" Starlight huffed. As if on cue, Twilight came back into the room. She froze, taking in the scene before her. She facehoofed and then lit her horn, changing them back to normal. "One more time..." she muttered. "Just one...and I'm keeping my promises!" She grabbed a book and marched out again. "Let's just go with a regular finale." Trixie said. "Agreed." Thorax nodded. "May as well." Starlight huffed. "This spell is useless!" She flung it down and stamped on it, her hoof causing it to tear in the center. Discord looked down at it, a wide and mischievous grin crossing his face. "Starlight," he said, laying his claw on her back. His tone was one of mirth, and it soundrd like he was fighting back laughter. Trixie arched an eyebrow. Starlight looked up at the draconequis narrowly. "Discord." She said through clenched teeth. "Whatever joke you're thinking of saying...don't. Just don't." Discord pointed at the paper, covered in scribbles, complex math, and now a long tear, and ignored her warning entirely. "That spell. You have only...scratched the surface of its problems." This time, he was hit squarely in the head by one of many books that all three of his companions threw at him. Author's Note Ok. That's a wrap!
