Chapter 0: Prelude
Long, long ago, before the Dawn of Time, six individual singularities came into being, along with the basic principles of what, when, and where, and how they are to be. Each and every one of these six singularities controlled an essential aspect of existence, those being of Reality, Soul, Mind, Time, Space, and Power.
Collectively known as the Infinity Stones by mortal understanding, these were the cause of the existence of not just one, but multiple universes. Within this Grand Multiverse, the Stones were gathered by one mad supremist, bent on erasing half of his universe in order to keep it alive, allowing finite resources to flourish. His attempt was, despite others' wishes, protests, and outrages, successful. That was, until what was known as a millennial "Time Heist" was formed, bringing the Stones back together and resetting their worlds. Tis resulted in the fading away of the Mad Titan, whose success warped into failure and his mark on the universe wiped clean. From then on, no one there knew where the Stones now resided, believing that the Stones remained destroyed. Heretofore, they remained as nothing but a fantastic cosmic lore, passed down to keep their heroes alive in spirit.
They hadn't a single clue.
The Six Singularities, the Gems of the Cosmos, the Great Infinity Stones, were not lost, destroyed, or forgotten. They still exist, albeit spaced a great distance from one another, into other planes of existence; into worlds unknown. Legends of mythical beasts, Eldritch abominations, whimsical fantasies, and vast fields of the Heavens all exist due to the continuation of these Proprietors of the Fabric of Space-Time, the Essence of Mind and Soul, and the Grand Power that ruled Reality itself.
And so it was that a tale unlike most takes form - takes root - takes hold of the lives of countless universes, worlds, and homes. And what better way to spin a tale of epic proportions than the Beginning?
The Beginning of a Battle that none dared thought existed... a true, unfathomed, Infinite War.
