Rarity was silently laying on her chair with the foot rest up as she knitting a blanket to relax as it was something to do since she couldn't see her friends due to them being out somewhere and due to not having any customers coming to Carousel Boutique.
After a few minutes of work she finished the blanket and that was when she got a visitor knocking on her door. She mentally cursed herself as she was unprepared in case it was a customer. Rarity told them that the door was open so they came inside.
Rarity made sure that she was presentable and went to stand up but the person made their way over to her chair. Rarity looked up and almost fell over in shock as an eighteen year old Sandbar blinked at her. She regained her composure and criticized herself.
"Dammit! Why did I just do that!?" Rarity asked herself in her head.
"Sandbar? If your looking for the school of friendship your in the wrong place." Rarity explained as she thought that Sandbar got sidetracked or lost.
"I wasn't looking for the school of friendship i came looking for you." Sandbar explained. Rarity almost laughed. She had no idea what she possibly had that Sandbar needed.
"Well I'm flattered that you did. What do you need darling?" Rarity asked, Sandbar twiddled his thumbs as he looked at his feet. Rarity looked at him with a patient expression.
"What I need is some advice." Sandbar said.
"Well I will try to give you the best advice I can. Im some what limited in my knowledge however so don't get upset if I don't have a good answer." Rarity explained. Sandbar nodded.
"Okay well...after I got out of school I was in Ponyville and I saw Shining Armor. He's married to Cadence and I know that but....I looked at him and...oh forget it..." Sandbar said as he started to walk away but Rarity stood up and stopped him.
"Sandbar it's fine you can tell me anything. I won't get mad." Rarity said. Sandbar sighed as he couldn't believe he was saying this.
"I feel...attracted to him..." Sandbar said. Rarity laughed loudly.
"So your a faggot? No offense by the way." Rarity asked as she laughed, Sandbar waved it off.
"None taken. Yes I am. I'm scared and confused. I want to feel normal and like girls. I don't want this feeling that I have. Sandbar said.
"I have the perfect solution to that. How about you try and date someone I know!" Rarity asked. Sandbar perked up.
"Really you won't mind? Would that even work?" Sandbar asked. Rarity laughed.
"Of coarse not darling. I will be glad to help. Of coarse it will work! We will get you to like girls soon!" Rarity said. Sandbar hugged her.
"Thank you so much Rarity! Your doing me a huge favor!" Sandbar said.
"No problem! Look why don't we start now." Rarity said. Rarity took Sandbar to the Ponyville Spa and stared into the window at Aloe and Lotus.
"Why did you take me to go stare at the spa girls? Isn't that kind of creepy?" Sandbar said.
"Yes but don't you want to like girls?" Rarity asked. Sandbar nodded.
"Look at their figures okay? Do you really think any man is that perfect looking? No. How can a guy not be attracted Aloe or Lotus? Their pretty. Their nice and it just feels right!" Rarity exclaimed. Sandbar watched them and immediately realized that Rarity was telling the truth.
"Wow Rarity your right! I certainly think that they have great figures. Maybe I can date one of them after getting to know them." Sandbar said.
"No! We shouldn't wait! You have to go out with a girl immediately or else you will end up with a boyfriend and that won't be good. We're gonna get you hooked up immediately!! This is the only way that we can make you straight so we're gonna act now." Rarity said.
"But she won't like that as she doesn't even know me! How are you ever going to get your way?" Sandbar asked. Rarity smirked.
"Watch me." Rarity said with a grin on her face, before Sandbar could protest Rarity walked into the spa and asked Aloe to talk with her in private as she needed to tell her what Sandbar wanted. Meanwhile Sandbar waited, anxiously waiting for a result. It took forever for Rarity and Aloe to talk which probably meant that they weren't agreeing to do the plan however Rarity came out with Aloe and she had them shake hands.
"Aloe this is Sandbar. He is the one I was telling you about." Rarity explained. Aloe examined him and agreed that he did look pretty cute.
"Hello Sandbar. Rarity told me all about you. How's Twilight by the way?" Aloe asked.
"She's good. Thanks for agreeing to this. I couldn't have it any other way." Sandbar said.
"Your not being forced to date me right...like this isn't by coercion?" Aloe asked.
"No it's not. I want to be attracted to girls so I need your help." Sandbar explained. Aloe looked him over, he really wasn't her kind but at the same time he seemed really nice at first glance.
"No problem. We will have you straight in about one hour, where would you like to go Sandbar?" She asked as she held out her hand with a smile, Sandbar was surprised she had time to help him now.
"Don't you have work?" Sandbar asked. Aloe shook her head.
"Yes but Lotus can take care of it." Aloe explained.
"I don't know. Just somewhere so that I can have an unforgettable experience." Sandbar said. Aloe smirked.
"Well that's just what I will give you." She said with a wink. She took him by the hand and they both walked to somewhere nice and fun. Rarity giggled.
"Have fun you two!" Rarity exclaimed. Sandbar and Aloe went the beach for a bit and then went to an ice cream shop and ate some cookies. Aloe needed to make sure that this night was very romantic even if she didn't have feelings for him. So she had a romantic dinner with him and they both listened to a very classical piece of music.
As the date went on Sandbar struggled internally over his true feelings. He knew that he still liked guys however on the other hand he enjoyed Aloe's company and liked her a lot.
As he dated Aloe more and more that night he started to resent his feelings even more and wanted to stick with this relationship before a guy met him. After the very successful night Aloe and Sandbar sat in the park as Sandbar hugged her out of gratitude.
"Thank you so much Aloe! I finally felt normal once in my life! I hope we can keep this up!" Sandbar said. Aloe kissed him on the cheek.
"Don't worry. I would gladly do that for you. You won't have anything to worry about if you stick with me and Rarity. We will fix you soon enough." Aloe said.
"I knew you girls would understand. Now I just have to stay away from guys as the temptations are to strong." Sandbar said. Aloe giggled.
"Temptations are like that but if you remain resistant enough you can change." Aloe said. Sandbar smiled at her. Unfortunately for Sandbar it was time for him to go home. So he took Aloe home and went home himself.
He felt afraid for Aloe as Twilight might ask where he was in the morning at the school and he would slip up. He wondered if he could ask Twilight if she could help him but knew that she probably wouldn't as she was all for LGBT rights.
When he got home he immediately went to bed and thought about Aloe, he sighed sadly as his mind drifted off to thoughts about Shining Armor and other boys. He wanted to get these thoughts out of his head. He did not want to be a homosexual. He hoped that Aloe would help him with these thoughts. The next morning he decided to skip class and go see Aloe about his problem.
"Aloe I've been thinking about guys again. What am I supposed to do?" Sandbar asked. Aloe put down a towel for later and thought for a second.
"We should go see Rarity about his then because she would know what to do." Aloe said. Aloe took Sandbar to see Rarity and before Rarity could ask how last night went Aloe cut in.
"The night was successful but Sandbar still had thoughts of being with guys. Is their any other way that we can change him?" Aloe said. Rarity thought of Twilight and got an idea.
"Twilight's crown!" Rarity exclaimed.
"Huh?" Sandbar and Aloe said.
"If you two steal her crown you can use it to suck the gayness out of Sandbar! It should definitely work!" Rarity exclaimed.
"That's a great idea Rarity! Come on! There's no time to loose!" Aloe exclaimed. She then snuck into the castle of friendship and stole the crown through the top window while Sandbar balanced the rope for her.
Sandbar hoped that they weren't spotted or they would both be caught. He waited anxiously as Aloe carefully stole the crown. Finally she climbed down the rope and put the crown on her head.
"Sandbar I want you to stand perfectly still. I read about how to use Twilight's crown even if I don't have magical blood inside my family line. I will say the correct phrase which will open the crown and get that stuff out of you! Stand still!" Aloe said.
Sandbar did what he was told as he stood perfectly still. Aloe pointed the crown at Sandbar and pulled out a stream of rainbow light from Sandbar's mouth. The rainbow light filled the crown. Once she was done she pointed it to the sky and shot it out.
Sandbar closed his eyes in fear until Aloe touched his shoulder. He opened his eyes and finally felt attraction for Aloe. He was finally straight.
"Aloe it worked! I'm heterosexual!" He exclaimed.
"Yay!" Aloe said. They both kissed and spoke.
"Thanks Aloe! We should totally meet up again!" He said.
"You bet we will! I'm glad that I could help!" Aloe said. Aloe walked back to the spa and Sandbar walked back to the castle to put the crown back and then he went home. Sandbar and Aloe told Rarity that they had succeeded in making Sanbar straight and she congradulated them and they both went off and continued dating as they never mentioned what they both did to anybody and carried on a romantic relationship.
