Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle share a perfectly normal conversation about nothing in particular, simply chatting with each other while talking care of their daily business. Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happens.

Pinkie Pie was bouncing around in the centre of Ponyville when she spotted her unicorn friend, Twilight Sparkle, who had just recently moved there, walking towards her.

"Hi," Pinkie began, excitedly prancing towards her friend, "Twilight. How-" Pinkie's bouncing came to a stop in front of the unicorn "-is-" the pink earth pony pressed down on her hooves, her legs coiling like springs "-it-" she was shot up in the air by her legs' distension and she flew over Twilight's body, her head upside down "-going?" she asked as she landed behind the unicorn.

"Very-" Twilight turned around "-well-" the lavender unicorn tilted her head to the side slightly "-Pinkie." Twilight inhaled. "Thank-" she lifted one of her hooves "-you-" her hoof came back down to the ground "-for-" a slight breeze moved her mane a little "-asking." Twilight examined the way Pinkie's body seemed to vibrate like a recently released spring. "How-" she chose to ignore the way her friend was breaking the laws of physics "-are-" the breath coming out of her alongside her words pushed the strands of her mane the wind had moved "-you-" her eyelids imperceptibly twitched "-doing?"

"Well-" Pinkie smiled "-as-" she reopened her eyes which had closed during her smiling "-always." Pinkie Pie in the future used her alicorn powers acquired from sitting on Discord's throne to change herself into a flamingo through all of history. "What-" Pinkie craned her long neck to the side "-are-" she gave a flap with her wings "-you-" one of her legs was raised to rest at her side "-doing-" she ruffled her feathers "-here?"

"I-" Twilight's heart pulsed, sending blood through her body "-was-" years before, a young Twilight hatched a dragon's egg with her magic "-looking-" at a small distance from Twilight, Lyra bought a flower "-for-" the green unicorn deposited her bits one by one on the counter "-Applejack." Twilight paused to breathe, observing the way Pinkie's pupils slightly enlarged as a result of the Sun's movement, which had brought it lower and now hidden behind a house. "Have-" Pinkie's beak clicked while she listened to Twilight "-you-" somewhere in Equestria a pony sipped tea "-seen-" back at the library, Spike opened the door, thinking someone had knocked, but found nopony outside "-her?"

"No," Pinkie said, distending her neck "I-" she slightly opened her wings "-haven't." Pinkie's wings came back to her sides. "You-" somewhen in the future, after she'd already been defeated by Discord and subsequently lost her alicorn powers, Pinkie used the powers granted to her by the magical golden apple she ate to turn herself back into a pony, a choice which dictated her decision not to use her powers to simply wish all the problems she'd caused away, which forced the other ponies to deal with them manually, something that looked rather stupid to those who looked back at those events with no recollection of Pinkie having been a flamenco "-could-" in the future of the universe beyond the mirror, Sombra avoided a group of guards "-try-" somewhere out in space, a new star was born "-asking-" in another universe, in a time long past, a different Celestia told her sister to awaken for the first time "-Rarity," Pinkie paused, realizing she was no longer a bird, "I-" above an airship in a dimension separate from her own, Moonlight Dust deflected another one of Twilight's shots "-saw-" in a cloud above Ponyville, Rainbow Dash snored "-her-" Applejack said goodbye to Rarity and began to head back towards Sweet Apple Acres "-somewhere-" in a possible future, Sweet Apple Acres became Discord's property after Applejack gambled it away "-over-" Twilight began to immensely regret the way she had heightened her perceptions, both in their range and in the way she perceived the flow of time and space "-there," inside her mouth, Pinkie's tongue moved a bit from its position, then returned to resting there.

"Thank-" deep in her hive, Chrysalis mused over her next plan to take over Equestria "-you-" a young foal mockingly laughed at the statue of Discord "-Pinkie," Twilight said, the vibrations produced by her voice as it moved through the air reaching her friend's ears, as well as those of the ponies closer to them, although they paid them no attention, "but-" Rarity dramatically posed to impress some possible customers by showing off her scarf "-I-" Starlight Glimmer accidentally misjudged her calculations with a time-travel spell and went too far back in time, and when her magic came in contact with the first members of what would evolve into ponies through the course of millennia it caused their evolutionary process to accelerate, resulting in everypony in the present of Equestria developing two more legs "-think-" when Discord came to conquer Equestria, he realized ponies should have only had four legs, so he stopped Starlight from going back in time "-I'll-" some of the cells in Twilight's skin died "-go-" somewhere, somewhen, Chrysalis run away, disguised as a guard, Celestia angrily screaming behind her "-check-" in another future, where things had changed, Twilight gave up her emotions to Chrysalis in order to save her friends after the changeling had executed a complex plan that involved wiping her own memories and learning to share love "-Sweet-" Twilight sat at a table with herself, in her own mind, in another time, in another space "-Apple-" a small portion of the fluid on Twilight's eyes evaporated "-Acres-" Twilight's teeth clacked as she spoke "-instead," Twilight exposed to her pink earth pony friend, "Rarity-" the unicorn in question was seen walking towards her boutique, talking to a pair of mares "-might-" deep in the Everfree Forest, a lighting bolt struck a tree, and the electricity travelled through it and into the ground "-be-" Twilight was rather thankful that she'd designed the spell as to avoid showing her undesirable visions "-busy." Twilight waved at Pinkie and began to walk away towards the library, to remove the spell. Unfortunately for her, Pinkie noticed the direction.
