when Rose makes the mistake of running in front of her self a paradox is created and in essence they no longer exist. But the doctor number nine is nothing if not persistent and makes a last ditch effort for his continued existence. This decision however proves costly losing the Tardis his screw Driver and and his companion. Finding himself in a stranger world with strange people and nothing but time on his hands
