Night of the Living Nootaz
It was late afternoon by the time Twitchyy got to his second to last stop of the day, a glass blowing shop perched just at the edge of the Shaded Woods.
"Hey there T!" Night Wish called as Twitchyy came to a stop in front of her, the sound of a fire crackling softly behind her and various bits of glass hanging from the cieling, slowly turning in the breeze that the now open door provided "Got this months materials for me?" She asked eagerly, peering over the tailgate of the tan stallions cart.
Tugging off the harness Twitchyy moved to the other side, chuckling as he reached over the side of the cart and tugged out a medium sized package. "You know more supplies don't come in until next week, Wish. Maybe if you paced yourself instead of using all your supplies the minute you get them you wouldn't be so bored." Twitchyy said as the mare hopped over the cart with a quick flap of her wings and a fake pout.
"Thats so boooring though! When inspiration strikes it strikes hard! Just look at my mark!" She said, landing in front of the stallion and turning slightly, showing him her mark, a clear glass vase with a strange, secondary stem coming out midway down. "See? Look how unique it is, twice as many flowers!"
With a soft chuckle Twitchyy handed her the package, before moving back infront of the cart. "So you say every time I come by Wish, anyway, I'm off to the Lighthouse, I'll see you tomorrow for the Nightmare Night party right?"
"Of course! Wait hold on, the Lighthouse? How come they get resupplied early?" She said with a tilt of her head, trotting beside him for a moment as he made his way towards the entrance to the woods.
"Apparently something got into their food supply and ate all the bagged goods, so they need an emergency resupply." Twitchyy explained with a shrug, stopping just outside the woods.
"Weird... Be safe ok T? Whatever mamaged to dig through stone to get to the Lighthouses's food cache isn't something you wanna mess with..." She said, frowning slightly.
"I will Wish, Say Hello to your sister MJ for me, would you?" Twitchyy said, waving over his shoulder as he made his way into the Shaded Woods...

It had been roughly an hour since Twitchyy had left Night Wish's workshop, and night had fallen upon the already dark forest, shrouding it even further with only faint beams of moonlight to guide somepony along the path. A soft wind ruffled the treetops as he walked, the paved road having given way to a pure dirt path that crunched ever so softly underneath his hooves. Humming quietly to himself Twitchyy tried to ignore that darkness that surrounded him on either sides of the road, preferring to focus on the path ahead.
"Only a little bit farther..." He murmured to himself, pausing to squint, looking for where the trees started to thin. Sighing in relief as he spotted the gaps in the trees growing wider, Twitchyy started forward again, humming happily to himself. "....." A noise, akin to that of a whisper, made his steps falter ever so slightly, and he glanced around quickly, his ears swiveling every which way to locate its source...
Gulping softly he started to move a little faster, his cart trundling along quietly behind him and the rustling of the boxes contents only adding to his nerves as he strained to hear the- "......." There! Eyes wide he jerked his head around, just in time to see a flash of glowing yellow disappear into the forest.
Twitchyy whimpered ever so softly as he started to trot, the box and cart making ever louder noises as he sped up, his head whipping from side to side, he could have sworn something was at the edge of his field of vision, just out of sight yet always present...
"......!" The sound, like that of a thousand whispers at once, resounded from behind him, and with a strangled yelp Twitchyy darted forward, his cart and box rattling loudly as he looked back, a pair of sickly yellow eyes blazing in the night behind him, staring into his soul...
Breaking into a hard gallop Twitchyy sprinted down the dirt path, gasping in relief as he spied the edge of the trees and even farther in the distance, the safety of the Lighthouse.
"Just... Have... To... Get... To the-" with a yelp Twitchyy skid to a halt, the cart rattling and bouncing erratically behind him, as, just outside the forest, silhouetted in moonlight, was the monster that pursued him... Twitchyys stomach filled with ice as he gazed upon the facsimile of a pony whose eyes burned like the moon itself, whose massive fangs glinted in the moonlight, whose giant leathery wings stood outstretched, blocking any attempt to reach safety!
His heart thudded in his chest like a drum as he watched with panicked eyes, not moving a muscle, watching for any sign of attack.
The creature slowly opened its mouth wide, more and more impossibly large teeth glinting in the moonlight, and it let loose a screech that shocked Twitchyy to his core. "SHHCSSHEEEETIISHHSHS!" The creature roared before taking a step towards the quaking stallion.
With a horrified scream more in line with that of a filly, Twitchyy turned and ran, but his cart refused to budge! The wheel had gotten tangled upon several roots during his sudden stop, and now he was trapped! With strength born from desperation Twitchyy gave the cart a mighty kick, shattering the wood that connected his harness to the cart itself, preferring to leave it behind rather than be ripped to pieces.
With a semi triumphant yell Twitchyy sprinted into the night, not stopping until he found his way back to Night Wish and Mary Jane's workshop, where he promptly passed out, safe...

A loud thud echoed throughout the lighthouse as a young mare, dressed as Count Batula, entered, closing and locking the heavy door behind her. "Mshhphghh! Dshggpld! Uh gpl pghl snaappglhs!" The mare shouted, a wooden box balanced on her fake bat wings.
"Honey, you know nopony can understand you with those fake teeth in your mouth, and use your indoor voice please." A soft, feminine voice came from the kitchen.
Taking out the massive pair of plastic choppers with her magic Nootaz trotted into the kitchen, carefully setting the box of snacks on the counter next to the dinner that the family had already eaten. "Sorry Mom, I said I got the snacks."
Nora Swirl turned and smiled, wearing a large black dress and green fur dye, as well as two large plastic bolts stuck to her neck. "Oh wonderful dear, can't have a horror movie marathon without snacks!" She said with a giggle, "Did you remember to offer the nice mail pony a snack for their walk home?"
Nootaz paused, her mouth already full of hot cheetos and a content, dazed look on her face, simply responded with "Mmmm... Cheeeeties..."
