It was such a rainy day in sweet apple arces. Everypony went home to wait for the rain to stop, other ponies went to sleep. All ponies were asleep...except one, on the grass field away from sweet apple arces was a orange coated earth pony standing still in the rain her eyes lowered down to the ground, her face looked as if life was just laughing at her and was not being fair. Raindrops fall down stabbing her entire body but she didn’t care how cold she was. That earth pony was none other then Applejack herself. Earlier today, Applejack was working hard irrigating apple seeds and kicking some trees to collect more apples. Once her job was done she decided to end her day by eating the apple that she left on a plane normally table, however, her apple was snatched away from her in the blink of an eye before she could even take a single bite. Whoever pony it was that took the apple away from her, eats it right in front of her. And just like that, Applejack felt her heart shattering in tiny pieces, her eyes widened, her lips trembling. Her eyes followed as the half eaten apple was falling in slow motion before it hits the ground and Applejack stood there, unmoving, her eyes locked at the half eaten apple. As a few minutes pass, only one thought came in Applejacks mind. “Why..?” As time pass Applejack didn’t moved from her spot, some ponies would pass by and notice a orange coated earth pony staring at the ground some were creeped out while some were worried including Big Macintosh and Granny Smith. They would walk up to her and ask what was wrong and her response was the same as her thoughts “Why..?” Why? What does she mean why? Those are what Big mac and Granny thought in there heads. Eventually they left her alone, while she continues to stare at the half eaten apple that has now become rotten from all the worms and bugs crawling all over it. Applebloom just got done brushing her teeth and was ready to hit the bed, she exits the bathroom and walks down the hallway then enters her room while passing by her window. Before she could go to bed she spots something in the corner of her eye. “Huh?” Applebloom looked out at the window and notice her older sister Applejack was outside, her ears behind her head, still standing on the same spot that she hasn’t yet left. This concerned Applebloom, and made her wonder why is her sister standing out in the middle of the rain while everypony is inside. Applebloom left her room and head down the stairs, pulls out a rain coat out of a hanger before putting it on. She then slides her legs and hooves in boots, while grabbing a umbrella from a basket that was near the front door, then Applebloom unlocks the elastic strap that’s wrapped around the handle. Presses the bottom button while pulling out the top of the umbrella. Pushed the inside button and slides the umbrella open before exiting the front door. She raised her umbrella over her while walking slowly towards Applejack, once she was close enough she stops in her tracks. “Um... Applejack?” Asked Applebloom. Applejacks ears perked up at the sound of her little sisters voice before turning her head slowly to look at her before turning back to face the ground. “Oh. Hey sugar cube...” Applejack mumbled, barley moving her lips. “Um. What’re ya doing out here? And how long have ya been out here?” Applebloom looked at her older sister curiously, her response shocked her. “1 day. 9 hours. 15 minutes. 22 seconds, or probably more or less...” Applebloom blinked a few times her brain trying to process what she just heard. She was worried but at the same time she didn’t understand why she’s been out here for this long. “But. Why!?” Applebloom demanded. “Why In Celestia’s name were ya standing out here for this long? You mean ya haven’t been moving all day!?” Applejack slowly nodded while closing her eyes. The two ponies were quiet for a moment and before Applebloom could ask another question, her sister cuts her off. “Applebloom. Let meh tell ya something.” Applejack said. “Um... okay?” Applebloom responded. Applejack takes a deep breath before telling her what’s on her mind. “Do ya know what it’s like: to have something so precious on your hooves.” “Wha..? “A precious red beating apple. You’re Just so happy that ya just can’t wait to take a quick bite with your hearts content, then out of nowhere some pony decides to swoop ya apple away and eat it. Right. In. Front of you!” Applejack explained Applejack sniffs while wiping tears out of her face. “Do ya know what that’s like sugar cube? Because I have... i watched as that no good yellow bat like pegasus eat my apple right before my eyes.” Wait... bat? Applebloom took a minute to think then quickly understood what she meant. “Wait, sis. Are ya talking about Fluttershy, she eat you’re apple again?” Applejack slowly turned her head, she sniffs while making a sad pouty face before nodding to her little sisters question. Applebloom just stared at Applejack dumb foundation on her face. “But... sis i— “And do ya know how many times Fluttershy has been eating my apples? 99 times!?” She cried. “Now multiple that, with another 99! I mean come on! Why does a mare gotta do to get some peace without being bothered every now and then by some pony who likes my darn apples!?” “Sis, I understand but— “No you don’t sugar cube!” Applejack rolls around to face her little sister, Applebloom cringe at the sight of her angry heartbroken sister as she continues her rant in total rage. “You don’t know what it was like for me to have to watched all of my apples being taken from me! It was so hard gosh darn it! It was bad enough that she eat 2 apples a few months ago... but 99 of them!?” Applejack plumps to the ground holding both her legs together while continuing to cry for the apple that was taken from her. “Ah worked so hard for that apple! All I wanted was to have a nice peaceful day with Celestia’s sun over my face, a cup of granny’s smiths milk and a nice clean apple to eat! But no. Instead I have to be punish by the bat-like Fluttershy eating every apple i eat every single day!” Applebloom walks over to her depressed sister and place her hoof on her shoulder. Applejack turned her head to look at her sister before sniffling. “W-Well, look on the bright side sis. Atleast there was one thing Fluttershy didn’t eat of yours.” She said reassuring her big sister. Sniffs “What’s that?” Applejack Asked her little sister. “Granny’s apple soup.” Applebloom replied. Applejack was quiet before she started chuckling happily, she grabs her hat off the grass pours all the water out before putting it on her head. “Yeah, ya right. Ah mean Fluttershy in her bat form only eats apples, so there’s no way she could drink those kinds.” “Yeah.” Applejack And Applebloom’s chuckles turned into laughter. Applebloom that her big sister was finally feeling better, however, Applebloom notice Granny Smith walking towards the two on the look on Granny’s face is a face that says "I got bad news." Once she was close with the two she looks at Applejack dead in the eye and tells her the worst thing Applejack could ever hear. “Um Girls. I’m sorry to interrupt but, i got some bad news to tell ya.” Granny said. “What is it Granny?” Applebloom asked. “Well,” She explained. “Some how we ran out of the last of meh apple soup, i don’t know who drank it all but i also found this piece of pink hair on the floor. I was wondering if ya girls know who it belongs to?” There was a pause. Applejack looked at the hair on Granny’s hoof and she recognized it instantly. That piece of hair was no doubt part of Fluttershy’s mane and when she saw it before her eyes Applejack stayed quiet. “Um.
