Humans and Ponies have lived alongside one another for a long time fought the chaotic spirit of chaos Discord and even fought for the Ponies as a powerful warrior rose to unite the Human kingdoms into one. He was the Absolute One whose power rivaled the Princess of the Sun and nearly brought Equestria to her knees but his power could not overcome the Solar Princess and so he made peace with Celestia and ruled over the Human Empire. As he reached old age he handed the crown to his son and that's when they struck.

His closest students betrayed him slaying his son and his son's wife but before they could murder his Grandson he rescues the newborn and carries him to Equestria hiding in the Everfree Forest far from other humans. There he teaches the boy the power of his Family and trains him to exact revenge but in his final days tells his grandson to live in peace. While his grandson honors his last request living in Ponyville while the Humans across the sea engage in wars with each other and those who pay the most.

Forces now move that threatens the peace of his home and his Grandfather's past returns to haunt him as trouble looms on the horizon. Will he fight for his Pony friends and loved ones to keep Harmony safe or will he fall into the dark and terrible web that have swallowed even the strongest of warriors?
