Misunderstood - the only chapter
Sunset held a box in her hands she she mad her way down the stairs. Whoa...steady.... Sunset nearly fell as she reached the bottom. Continuing her journey towards the school's front doors, Sunset barely noticed Twilight and bumped into her, sending the girl's worksheets flying, landing messily around her.
"Oops, sorry Twi!" Sunset said as she sat the box down, helping her friend pick up her assignments. "Guess I wasn't looking where I was walking..."
Twilight stood up as she took her worksheets from Sunset. "Where are you going in a rush anyway?" Sunset froze, not knowing how to answer. "Sunset?" Twilight asked again as she raised an eyebrow. 'Where are you going?"
Sunset picked up the box. "Nowhere.....I'm just meeting Timber before class starts...." She looked at Twilight. "Just tell the girls that I can't make band practice today, you are going there now, right? Just tell them for me okay? Thanks!"
Twilight just stared. "Wait...how did you get Timber's number?" She asked, her cheeks turning red. "Not that I care but.....can I.....come with you?" She looked up hopefully at Sunset. "Please? I have so much to tell him and...."
"Sorry Twi, but Timber said that he only wanted to see me." Sunset took out her phone. "He said so in the text. He knew that you'd want to tag along, so he gave me instructions not to bring you." Sunset shrugged as she walked towards the doors. "See ya in class!" She called out.
"Wait! What are you guys talking about? And what's in that box?" Twilight shouted at Sunset, but she was already too far away to hear. Hm...what are they discussing that is so important that I can't tag along? Twilight thought as she walked to the music room. And why did Timber not want me there? Does he not like me??
Twilight decided that she would take matters into her own hands and find out what Sunset was hiding. Instead of going to the music room, Twilight hid behind the doors, waiting for Sunset to return. Let's see what that girl is up to now, shall we? Twilight kept watch as she thought of all the possible outcomes.
Well, for all I know, they may just be talking, you know, as friends, not anything else, right? Or maybe, Timber may be asking Sunset out!? But her wouldn't do that would he? Or Sunset could be spying on me, telling Timber all my darkest secrets! Oh no....And what was in that box anyway??? Twilight let her imagination run wild. No, that would never happen, Sunset knows that I...I...like Timber....she would not....
Twilight gasped as Sunset re-entered the school, a huge smile on her face. What is she so happy about? Sunset walked to her locker, grabbing a few textbooks as headed off to class. Hmm...I'll ask Sunset about it later... Twilight said as she proceeded to class as well.
"Hey girls!" Sunset said as she sat down at the cafeteria table. "Sorry I couldn't make it for practice today, I was busy meeting Timber in the morning." The moment Twilight heard that, her eyes widened as she choked on the food that she was eating.
"You okay Twilight?" Pinkie asked as she slapped Twilight's back a few times.
"Yeah yeah...all good here.." Twilight muttered. I knew Sunset would want to steal Timber for herself.... She glared at Sunset, who smiled back at her. Wow, and now she's here to make fun of me huh? Twilight crossed her arms and pouted in her seat.
"Oh yeah, before I forget, I can't come today either guys...." Sunset said. "I'm meeting Timber at the park after school. But I'll try to rush over after okay?" Sunset smiled. "We have so much to discuss."
Twilight's jaw dropped. "What?!" She couldn't help but ask. "When did you arrange that?!"
Sunset shrugged. "He just said to meet his there, why?" She looked at Twilight, who was standing up now. "Are you okay? You seem...uh....mad?" Twilight clenched her fists as she grabbed her lunch tray, walking away. Leaning back, Sunset looked at her friends. "Erm...what just happened?"
Oh, just meeting up again huh? Twilight walked to class. I know, I'll follow her, than I'll know what she's really up to....
"Twilight Sparkle!" Twilight jumped up from her seat the moment the teacher shouted her name. "Welcome back, I sure hope your daydream was more interesting than my lesson!" The teacher reprimanded. "I want you to stay back after school today, meet me outside my office!" Twilight sighed. Just my luck...Now I wouldn't be able to see the meeting of Sunset and Timber....
After school, Sunset quickly left for the park, leaving Twilight furious as she headed towards the staffroom. Grr...now how am I gonna spy on them? I know, I'll intrude while they are talking! Perfect!
After getting lectured by the teacher, Twilight rushed to the park. Where are they? She turned a corner, glad that they were still there. Now all I have to do is listen to what they are saying....
Twilight crept up to a nearby tree, hiding behind as she listened to their hushed voices.
"Here you go, the money you requested!" Sunset said as she handed Timber a metal box.
"Thanks! this would really help me!" Timber replied. "Hey, just one more question before I leave, what do you think we should do about Twilight...." Timber leaned forward as he whispered into Sunset's ears. Sunset smiled as she leaned back, standing up straight.
"Nah, Twi doesn't like...." Twilight strained to hear what they were saying. Doesn't like what? What is Sunset telling him?! Twilight held on to the tree bark as she leaned closer and closer.
"Gah!" Twilight felt her hands slip off the tree as she fell, landing not too far away from where Timber stood. No! twilight pulled herself to her feet as she brushed herself off.
"Twilight? What are you doing here?" Sunset asked as she crossed her arms, looking at her friend.
What am I doing here? What am I doing here? Twilight couldn't stand it anymore. She walked up to Sunset, her arms crossed.
Before she could ask anything, Twilight pointed a finger at Sunset. "What are you two talking about? What do I not like huh?" She turned to Timber, who instantly blushed. "And you! Meeting Sunset without telling me. And insisting that I not come along if I found out?! Really? I can't...." She stared daggers at him, causing the poor boy to squirm in place.
Sunset gave Twilight a confused look before something clicked in her brain. "Wait...you thought Timber...." Sunset laughed. "Really Twi. You really overthink sometimes..."
Twilight cocked her head sideways. "Huh?"
Sunset looked at Timber, before looking at Twilight. "You thought I was going out with him without you?" She smiled. "You thought Timber was cheatin on ya?" Sunset rested her hand on Twilight's shoulder. "Hey, I was just handing Timber the funds that we raised for camp!" Sunset grabbed the metal box from Timber's hands and gave it a little shake. The sound of coins could be heard.
"Ooh....so that's what you were so mad about, why you were spying.." Timber said. "I just needed to get the cash, that's all. Nothing much..."
Twilight's mouth hung wide open. "But...but..." She started. "But you two were definately talking about something else! What do I not like? And why couldn't I some along? You were trying to hide something right?"
Sunset rolled her eyes. "Well Timber and I, along with the girls are all planning a party for you, since your birthday is coming. I was just telling him that you don't exactly like loud and crazy stuff and crowded areas, you know?"
Sunset looked towards Timber. "And Timber here didn't want you to tag along because he thought that you already had enough on your mind since finals are coming, so he did not want you to worry about the funds."
Sunset looked at Timber smugly. "And someone also did not want to see you because he likes you, and he is afraid that her would stumble on his words when he tries to talk to you and embarrass you." Sunset raised her eyebrows. "hmm...wonder who that is huh?"
Timber instantly blushed. "Yeah, sure wonder who that is indeed...."
Twilight's eyes widened before she gave a sheepish grin. "Oooooh..." She said. "So that's what....okay..." She looked at her shoes. "Whoops"
Sunset nudged Twilight. "It's okay, everyone makes mistakes." She smiled. "Besides, it's okay to be a little worried sometimes."
"Well, I guess I was a little too cautious...I couldn't even pay attention in class! I had to meet the teacher after class for daydreaming! Imagine that!" Twilight looked up. "Maybe I do get too worked up over the smallest things...."
"Erm...I'm sorry too...." Timber suddenly spoke, reminding Twilight that he was still there. "I should not have told Sunset specifically not to bring you..." He shrugged. "I guess I was just too worried about meeting you that I didn't even consider how you might react or feel....sorry."
"It's fine..." Twilight smiled.
"Okay..." Sunset stood between them. "Since everything is settled here. you guys wanna head over to the mall to grab something to eat? After all, you two never did have the chance to hang out since the fundraiser, now may be a good time to catch up."
"Sure!" Twilight and Timber said at the same time, blushing. "Sounds great!" Sunset rolled her eyes in amusement. "Okay then, let's go."
The three of them then walked down the road to the nearby mall, laughing and talking the whole way there.

Okay, this was ultra random and I kinda messed up the last part, but here it is anyway...
Is this supposed to be 'teen' rated or is 'everyone' rated fine? I think I didn't use anything that...is, like kissing and others?...I'm not too sure.....ah well, nevermind. Do you think I should change the rating?
