Signing Up For A Class Of Her Own
Twilight Sparkle was in her castle in Ponyville cleaning her soft Ballet shoe's in order to get ready for her next class. She had to make sure that they were suitable in their appearence and at the same time taken care of.
As she cleaned her Ballet shoe's Pinkie Pie came bounding into her friends castle and walked up to her, Twilight stopped working on her dance wear and looked up.
"Hey Pinkie Pie, what are you up to?" Twilight asked.
"I came to ask you if I should really sign up for a Contemporary dance class again, you were all suggesting I should do it after we all saw your performance that one night. I really want to take another one like I did in the past but I'm nervous about it!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"You should try it out again if you want to, I don't understand why you would quit even if you liked it in the first place." Twilight pointed out, Pinkie Pie shrugged.
"I dont know why I quit either but I absolutely want to do it again, I'm just nervous because I'll mess up during class and get laughed at." Pinkie Pie said with fright, Twilight stopped cleaning her ballet shoes and put her hand on Pinkie Pie's shoulder
"Pinkie, did people laugh at you before when you were first starting out in the class? Twilight asked. Pinkie sighed and shook her head.
"No they didn't, I'm just super duper nervous!" Pinkie Pie exlaimed. Twilight chuckled at how Pinkie Pie explained how she felt and turned her attention back to her ballet shoe's while she spoke to Pinkie Pie.
"Well dont be, If you go to a beginners class you wont be laughed at as you weren't laughed at before, if you are laughed at then just ignore the students who laugh at you and enjoy the class okay? That is if you decide to take the class of coarse." Twilight explained. Pinkie nodded understandingly.
"I understand Twilight, thanks I think I will go and do take the class. I'm going to try and do my best!" Pinkie Pie said, Twilight nodded in agreement.
"Just go to the class and just do your best, I was nervous when I started Ballet but after the next few days of taking the class I got over it and enjoyed it, just try your best just like how you did before!" Twilight exclaimed.
"But where will I go for classes? I know there is a dance center in Ponyville but that's the one you go to for you're Ballet class, I don't want to go there and seem like I'm stalking you." Pinkie Pie said with a sad frown. Twilight shook her head.
"Pinkie Pie I recommend going there, don't worry about seeming stalkish as I am not going to mind you taking classes there, go and sign up, it shouldn't be that bad, I'll be with you the whole way and so will our friends!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Thank's Twilight! I'm going to sign up right now, thank's for talking to me about it!" Pinkie Pie said. Twilight shrugged.
"It's no problem Pinkie Pie, I will talk to you later." Twilight said. Pinkie began to leave and spoke.
I'll talk to you later!" Pinkie Pie said, Twilight went back to cleaning her soft ballet slippers, after that she left the castle and walked to the center. When she walked inside she saw that many students who were in ballet were walking to class. Some recognized her and whispered and giggled while other's smiled and waved.
"Its the friend of the Princess of Friendship, the party thrower of Ponyville!" One girl whispered to her classmate, another who was slipping some ballet shoe's on stared in amazement. Pinkie Pie soon made it to the office and walked in as she was so embarressed for being whispered about and she didnt know why.
"Hello. Are you....the friend of Princess Twilight? You're the party planner right?" She asked. Pinkie Pie giggled.
"That's me!" She said while she blushed as she was overcome with nervousness and embarressment. The woman smiled kindly.
"How can I help you dear?" The woman asked. Pinkie Pie tried to form the right words in order to explain herself as she was a bit nervous.
"I did a contemporary dance class years ago but gave up but after I saw Princess Twilight's Ballet performance I mentioned how I took a dance class which was contemporary, I told them how I stopped taking it and my friends encouraged me to take a class up again as I really enjoyed it alot which is why I'm here! Pinkie Pie exclaimed with a blush on her face.
"Well you are in luck as we have an afternoon class that is contemporary dance. If you want we can have you sign up here or you can watch a class in order to assure your self that you want to do that class and once your done with that then you can sign up." The woman said.
"No I want to sign up now. I'm positive that I want to do this again!" Pinkid Pie said. The receptionist nodded and handed her the payment options for the class as well as the sign up sheet, Pinkie Pie examined them carefully and signed them, once she did that she handed them back to the desk.
"You know that Twilight goes to her class at this place as well right? Did she recommend this place?" The woman asked. Pinkie Pie nodded.
"Yes she did....is that alright?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"Of coarse it is! We don't get to many famous people to come here except for a few professional dancers and Twilight herself, it looks like your all set, classes don't begin until next week, do you need help with dance wear or...." The receptionist said but Pinkie Pie shook her head.
"I know what to wear I once took a contemporary class before...I have to get used to being barefoot in a class once again though but I guess that's expected." Pinkie Pie said.
"Yes Contemporary classes are taken barefoot but a few classes are now allowing contemporary students to use these things called dance paws. The are-" the woman said but was interrupted by Pinkie.
"Yeah I know what dance paw's are but I don't need them as they aren't necessary, thank's for the help!" Pinkie Pie said as she left. The woman waved and processed Pinkie's payment, She was hoping that Pinkie Pie would succeed.
When Pinkie Pie made it back she told her friends abour how she signed up for a contemporary dance class once again. Her friend's all said that they would wish her good luck.
Pinkie Pie put down the days that would have to go to class on and the time's she would have to arrive for class, after that she bought a long black footless sleeved catsuit made for dancer's that she could wear, the shop owner recommended that she wore short clothing as the type of dance wear Pinkie Pie bought was made for contemporary dancer's who didn't have long classes but Pinkie Pie said that she probably wouldn't sweat to much, as she wen't back home she thought about her upcoming class, She couldnt wait to start learning, it was going to be so much fun.
