A Hug Too Far

Are you okay?” wheezed Moon Dancer, visibly trying not to panic at seeing her friend’s current state.

“I… I feel fine,” replied Twilight, standing up and walking around again. She was quickly getting used to the new sensations now the initial shock was wearing off. She felt like a giant water bottle, her insides swirled as she moved, lurching forward if she stopped suddenly. She could feel a strange slick rubbery softness to her tongue, lips and mouth, which she seemed to be able to make disappear entirely by pressing her jaws together hard enough - and then reappear if she opened her mouth again. Likewise, if she pressed her forehooves together, they both joined with a ripple, like two beads of water combining. Then she pulled them apart again with a plop. “Err… experiment number two conclusion, there seems to have been some level of rebound with my phase-shift back to solid, and I’ve transformed into... I don’t know what…”

“A… goo-pony?” suggested Moon Dancer, quill and notepad floating in her magical aura, but no longer writing anything down.

“Uh… Yeah. It’s quite remarkable, we may be completely off-topic from our original objective, but we now have an entirely new phenomenon to explore!” she exclaimed, her face lighting up with curiosity. Moon Dancer looked less impressed. Curious, but curiosity tempered by concern.

“Explore?” she repeated incredulously, “Twilight we have to fix this! Can you turn back? Does your magic even work?”

Twilight glanced up toward her horn - which seemed to have a noticeable waggle to it now she was no longer solid - and furrowed her brow. Nothing happened.

“Err, no,” she said, “I can still feel my magic, it’s not like it’s been taken away, but I’ve got no way to channel it without a proper horn…”

“That would tally with unicorn biology,” commented Moon Dancer, walking up to her friend whilst taking notes, “The horn is an extension of the nervous system to the outside world, and acts as a focal point for our innate magical energy. It might be that you can still use your magic, but not in the way that you’re used to… Interesting…”

Twilight would normally have been quick to acknowledge that she knew this already, but as her friend approached and began to walk around her, studying her translucent body, she was feeling an overwhelming urge for physical contact. Moon Dancer just looked so… enticing. Solid, and contrasting to her own malleable body. What would it feel like to press her soft and gooey body against a warm, firm pony?

Moon Dancer set herself to focus on what she was seeing. Twilight looked as though she were made of jelly, however on closer inspection there was more to it than that - there was still anatomy here. Although her interior seemed to be a shifting mass of viscous liquid, it was denser in certain areas, forming lines and shapes that were unmistakably where her organs would be. Vague impressions of her throat, stomach and gut could be seen, with additional shadows of a heart and even a brain. Curiously her lungs and respiratory system were less apparent. It was a good thing she had retained her magical nature, since surely this form couldn’t support life without some form of magical drive behind it.

She was torn between scientific curiosity and wonderment. She was trying to remain objective and uncover what had happened, but at the same time Twilight was visibly excited and the idea was infectious. As Moon Dancer came to a halt in front of the good pony, Twilight suddenly leaned forward and threw her forelegs around her in a space-invading hug, causing Moon Dancer to squeak in surprise.

“Twilight! What are you doing?” she yelped. She moved to recoil, but couldn’t help but stay put and experience the moment. Twilight felt like, well, nothing she’d ever felt. She was like a heavy blanket or comforter draped over Moon Dancer’s shoulders, but unlike a blanket Twilight’s body formed perfectly over her in the most satisfyingly cosy way. It was like getting into a deliciously warm bath, except that the water didn’t soak into her, and moved of its own will.

Twilight pulled away again, leaving a trail of purple slime on Moon Dancer’s woollen sweater. They both broke eye contact awkwardly, Twilight visibly restraining herself from doing it again, and Moon Dancer knowing she should back away, but also wanting to stay put and experience more of the same thing.

“T-Twilight we should get you back to normal-”

“Wait, let me do that again… just… we’ll fix this in a minute it just feels nice,”

Twilight stepped forward and leaned into Moon Dancer again, feeling her liquid body deform against the unicorn’s mass. It was heavenly, there was so much surface area to contact. It wasn’t like a normal hug where bones and joints got in the way and made uncomfortable jabs, it was like hugging a huge soft toy, except that she was the toy. All she wanted was to touch as much of Moon Dancer as she could, and without even thinking about it she pressed herself around her friend’s sides so they were practically sharing the same spot in the room, face to face, close enough to see each other in perfect detail.

“H-hi…” stammered Moon Dancer, not sure what to do, a blush darkening her cheeks.

“Is this okay?” asked Twilight, hoping with all her being that Moon Dancer would say yes. She nodded meekly in reply, her breath nervous, eyes locked onto Twilight’s.

“Y-You feel… it’s like a spa mud-bath, but I can feel you moving against me…” stammered Moon Dancer. Twilight nodded in agreement. She could feel the same thing, her soft gooey form spread against Moon Dancer’s chest, and Moon Dancer’s steady breathing pushing her back and forth. Without even thinking about what she was doing, Twilight touched her lips to Moon Dancer’s.

Just a peck.

Moon Dancer blinked, her blush deepening into the full spectrum of the setting sun, but she didn’t turn or try to move away. Twilight kissed her again, holding her soft lips to Moon Dancer’s comparatively firm, but still soft mouth. The silence in the room was deafening. The feeling of their bodies pressed together now equalled by the kiss. Twilight gently touched her tongue against her friend’s lips, and at her command, Moon Dancer’s lips parted slightly to let her own tongue peek out to meet it.

As they grew accustomed to this contact, Twilight relaxed her mass a little more and began to sink over Moon Dancer. Her body oozed like lava, but rather than stretching, she seemed to gain size as Moon Dancer displaced her middle, letting her flow even further until half of Moon Dancer’s entire body was now enveloped by lavender slime.

Moon Dancer moaned softly, not sure what to do, but quickly becoming intoxicated by the sensations she was receiving from Twilight. Her body felt wonderfully warm and soothed by the liquid embrace, while the intimate kiss held her focus, keeping her brain preoccupied from wandering onto potentially more important things like reversing Twilight’s predicament, or the possible danger she was now becoming part of.

From the outside, Twilight seemed to have become somewhat amorphous as her mass spread over the bulk of Moon Dancer’s frame, filling in every gap and crevice between her limbs, caressing every part of her body. Finally, her forelegs started reforming behind Moon Dancer’s shoulder blades, and before either of them knew what was going on it was no longer a matter of Twilight covering up Moon Dancer, but Moon Dancer being inside Twilight’s chest.

At this strange angle, Moon Dancer’s glasses that were already askew slipped off and clattered onto the soft carpet. “Mmmmf,” she mumbled, interrupting their kissing for a moment, “Twilight- we should stop for a moment… we don’t know what’s happening here…”

“It’s okay, it’s fine,” Twilight reassured her, whilst her reformed front hooves settled on the ground again behind Moon Dancer, “Let’s just… we’ll just, see what happens…”

Moon Dancer glanced down, her eyes widening in amazement as she saw her entire body now enveloped in purple goop, her hooves no longer touching the ground, but now treading on the outer bubble of Twilight’s form, completely wrapped up and separated from the outside world. Concern fought with bliss as she saw that her sweater seemed to be separating. It was a shade of purple itself, but saturated with Twilight’s ooze it was dissolving like tissue paper in water, unveiling her light-tan coat underneath. What’s more was that her legs, while almost floating in Twilight’s mass, now felt like they were being gently pressed together from all sides, Twilight’s body seemingly trying to draw her into a liquid belly.

Twilight distracted her with another kiss, driving away her concerns and her fears with more soft contact. She could shape her tongue to perfectly wrap around Moon Dancer’s, extending right into her friend’s mouth to make their tender interlock completely effortless. Moon Dancer’s head was now angled up, with Twilight leaning back as the unicorn was completely engulfed up to her neck, with even her tail pulled in and slicked around her hip. Twilight had no idea what she was trying to achieve, but the wonderful sensation of touching and caressing every exposed part of her friend was now an obsession. The pleasure and communion only grew as Moon Dancer sank into her now noticeably larger body, and she was certain that some ultimate climax or goal would be unlocked if Moon Dancer became fully submerged.

She opened her mouth wider and without hesitating pressed her muzzle over Moon Dancer’s head, muffling the shocked moan that followed. With the unicorn’s body already trapped inside the barrel of her chest, Moon Dancer’s head and neck passed through Twight’s own neck as she swallowed her head and with an audible gulp settled in the space where her esophagus would be, while the bulk of her body wobbled into the stomach.

Moon Dancer’s world turned a lavender hue as without warning Twilight appeared to swallow her, and she found her head trapped in a stretchy tube inside Twilight’s neck. There was a little air trapped in here, and as Twilight experimentally stretched her jaws, Moon Dancer caught a brief, normally coloured glimpse of the Tower Library framed by Twilight’s open mouth, and then the slimy goop her friend had become rejoined and closed off the throat entirely.

The shock of being swallowed entirely momentarily cut through the hormone-fueled haze that had clouded Moon Dancer’s brain enough to let this happen in the first place, and she immediately cast a spell of underwater breathing. It was temporary, with a longer lasting version requiring more concentration than she could muster right now, but at least she wouldn’t drown or suffocate for the next few minutes.

“Twilight!” she yelped, her voice dampened not only by the viscous fluid around her but also Twilight’s loud and drawn out moan of pleasure as she fully absorbed her friend into her core.

“Sssshh sssshh,” Twilight cooed, leaning back and swallowing several times to push Moon Dancer completely down into her bubble-like stomach, “It’s okay I won’t hurt you, just, don’t you feel how wonderful this is? It’s… it’s incredible, I’ve never felt so close to somepony…”

Moon Dancer felt herself blush again. Despite her brain screaming at her that this had gone much too far, her body wallowed in pleasure, massaged all over by the heavy weight of Twilight’s body wrapped around her, touching and stroking every muscle from her shoulders, even down to her thighs - and between. It felt like being inside a balloon that was being deflated around her, vacuum sealed and submerged into a warm bath. She found she was still able to move, but on the inside, Twilight seemed to behave like a non-newtonian fluid. Gentle movements were possible, but as soon as she exerted any kind of force, Twilight’s goop locked up solidly, binding her in place. Relaxing was rewarded by both a little freedom of movement and a greater sensation of Twilight’s involuntary caress. She began to feel so relaxed she could just melt there and then.

Twilight had leaned forward into a sphinx-like position, eyes closed in bliss as felt Moon Dancer feebly move with her. It was heavenly, she could feel her slime seeping into the unicorn, weaving into the fibres of her coat, soaking into her skin, the taste seeping into her - the whole experience amplified by Moon Dancer’s slow surrender to her steady advance.

Finally, as Moon Dancer’s brain began to melt again under the onslaught of sensory pleasure, she felt a tingling jolt as Twilight’s embrace brushed against her clit and her eyes shot open again with guilty surprise. She looked blearily down at herself, curled up in Twilight’s centre, cocooned in a warm heavy goop, and- dissolving.

She was dissolving! A pale wisp surrounded her body, and her hooves were visibly rounded as she was beginning to diffuse into Twilight’s mass, a tingling sensation that spread across her. That was too much, she didn’t want this experiment to end in her body getting liquified into a goopy Twilight, no matter how- unbelievably good it felt.

“Twilight! I’m dissolving! You have to get me out of here right now!” she shouted. She tried to pull her hooves back and curl tighter and pull away from Twilight’s ooze, but the sudden movement did nothing else but jam up her surroundings again, locking her in place.

Twilight’s eyes snapped open. She had spread so much over Moon Dancer now that she could sense every fractional movement she made, and for the first time now she felt a tremble that wasn’t of nerves or uncertainty, but true fear, and the spell they had both covered themselves with evaporated.

“Oh goodness!” she exclaimed, getting up and stumbling back, only to realise that she was carrying Moon Dancer in her belly now, and couldn’t just let go. “Hold on, I’ll get you out of there… just give me a moment to figure out how!”

How indeed, she thought in her brain. She couldn’t move her insides like she could her wings or her legs - however, she suddenly remembered Moon Dancer mentioning her magic, and she focused on that instead. The familiar swirl of energy inside her was there, and her mind focused on that. Thinking as if she were trying to levitate her own mass as she would a teacup, she felt the unicorn inside her slime and realised she could control the distribution and concentration of it. Slowly, she nudged and pushed, and Moon Dancer’s compressed body was pressed up against the stretchy surface tension of her body. Then she relaxed, and Moon Dancer flopped out from her chest onto the carpet in front of her. At the same time, Twilight felt herself diminish in size again, her middle collapsing in on itself until she was the same height as she’d started out.
