Chapters The Omega Prophecy
There shall come a time when harmony will fall and chaos shall have a chance at the world. The Elements will be rendered useless and new heroes shall arise.
One shall be known as The Alchemist. He shall brew things the likes of which have not been seen in millennia. He shall be recognized for his skill in his trade, outshining all others
One shall be known as The Shadow. Moving like the shifting darkness, taking anything they so wish.They shall be recognized by having a blank flank, and a coat dark as the night sky.
One be shall be one known as The Warrior, nigh undefeated, and a spirit unbreakable. He shall be known by a sword and shield being by their side, whenever victory is theirs.
These brave ponies shall be the ones to right the wrongs. For if they do not, Chaos shall reign and all will be lost in its sway.
“This is pretty funny don't you think, Dust?” said Cloud Tamer. “I think its just an old mare's tale; meant to scare little fillies and colts into doing what their parents say,” Dust said with a dry tone. “I still don't see why you dragged me all the way out here just to see som-” At that point he crested the hill and saw a giant party waiting for him.
“Okay what is this, and who set it up?” asked Dust with eyes wide. Cloud Tamer said “Ah come on, man! You just got into town, and every time there’s a new pony coming to Ponyville, even if you’re some blackened, dusty-old Earth pony, she will force you to party. I wish I was lying about that, believe me.”
The last statement held a sense of personal experience, so Dust didn't question it. He just shook his head and headed down the hill, to the inevitable “Fun” that awaited him. As he drew closer to the house, the music began to play louder, and louder...

A few hours earlier
Being a winemaker had its ups and downs. Having to deliver, while usually reserved for the others, he felt compelled to do this himself. His name, Grape Vine. Considered one of the greatest winemakers to be born in equestria.
Grape Vine was dragging a small carriage of his brand of wine to a party the small rural town called ponyville. ‘Geez, I’m way too far out of my element...’ He complained. Using his magic, he uncorked one of the bottles and gave himself a sip. Satisfied with his work, he slipped it back into the carriage.
As he got further into town, He could hear the music playing. Cringing at the Techno music that was blaring, he pressed onwards to make his delivery.
He arrived to the front door and prepared to knock with his hoof. In all honesty, he just wanted to get back to his shop and get back to making a new product. The door swung open and immediately, The sound of bass assaulted his ears. He looked at the pony that answered the door and couldn’t help but cringe at the impossibly large grin she was giving him. She was very, VERY pink.
“OH! are you here to deliver the Drinks I ordered?” She asked in an excited voice. Grape Vine, not one to miss the opportunity for sarcasm, simply said this.
“Nope, I’m on a charity run for the orphanage. i just happen to be dragging a Carriage of drinks.” He sneered. ‘Here’s your sign, idiot.’ he snarked in his head.
The sarcasm completely flew over the pink mare. “Oh, well when you see someone who looks kind of like you, and has a carriage of drinks with him, could you tell him to bring them here?” She asked, never losing her smile.
A vein throbbed on the back of his head, he sighed, trying to calm himself down. “Yes, I’m the delivery colt for your drinks.” He told the pink mare. She got a good look at him, looking from his green mane, his lime green eyes, to the pitch black coat. She jumped into the air gasping, while hovering in the air for a few seconds.
Grape Vine raise an eyebrow. “Uh... you okay Mi-ah!” he was suddenly grabbed into the building with his drinks. He prepared the magic in his horn to fight her off in case she did something that she’d come to regret, only to be caught off guard with a barrage of questions. His head spun trying to understand what in tartarus she was saying.
“Pinkie! you’re confusing the poor stallion!” a rather bookworm-ish voice lectured. He looked to the source of the voice and saw somepony he never thought he would see again.
“Twilight?” he asked in surprise. Twilight looked at the stallion confused.
“I’m sorry, have we met?” She asked in curiosity.
Grape vine grinned. “What, you don’t remember Darky?” He asked in amusement. She had a look of concentration, racking her brain to remember a ‘Darky’ in her life. Her face flashed in surprise and happiness. She jumped forward and grabbed Grape vine in a tight hug, almost crushing his ribcage.
“Darky! I never thought I’d see you again!” She gushed in excitement. Grape Vine groaned in pain.
“Who’s he, Twilight?” Pinkie asked in curiosity. Twilight let Grape Vine go, with a sigh of relief from him, and explained to pinkie his significance.
“He was the one who babysat me before Cadence! He... He had to move away though, since he wanted to get into making things.” She explained. A look of confusion flashed across her face, looking towards Grape Vine to clarify why he left.
Grape vine saw the look and nodded in understanding. “I wanted to get into wine making. It was what my parents did, So I tried it for myself. Next thing I know, I have my own brand, and all sorts of drinks!” he said with a smirk.
He looked at his surroundings. “So, Who’s the party for?” He asked.
“It’s for the new pony in town!” Pinkie exclaimed. He merely nodded and trotted off into the crowd.
‘well, May as well... mingle .’ he thought with a sigh. Honestly, he wasn’t very old. barely hit twenty three this year. But he was slowly feeling way, way too tired from this. All he could do now was wait until the life of the party arrived.
He suddenly looked up, as something had caught his eye.
‘Is that a... Cloud?’
Meanwhile,
It’s not half bad living on a cloud, lemme tell ya. You ever heard of a mobile home? Ten thousand times better. Never mowing the lawn, no rent to pay, no gasoline or “maintenance”... A neat little house, atop a nice-sized cloud. Really, a relaxing life. Not to mention complete control of the weather.
That is, relaxing for just about ANYONE else. This guy had to keep on the move, for fear of running into... Problems. He’d been all over Equestria, and had never stayed in one place for too long.
This pegasus had drifted into, or rather over, Ponyville one day, after hearing something about a party from an old friend. Normally, he wouldn’t do something like this, for fear of... “Past problems” coming back to bite him, but he thought it’d be fine. Apparently, even the Princess was to make an appearance.
“All this running, and yet the mail still seems to reach me now and again. Thanks, Ms. Hooves.” he told the Mail Mare, as she derped away.
A short fly, and Ponyville was directly below. He remembered this place, as much as he wished he didn’t. Not even a minute had passed before a knock came to his front door. And, with as fast as Silver’s house was, and the fact that it’s a cloud , it had to be someone faster than fast.
Without even rising from his chair, he knew who it had to be. I mean, who else flew faster than him, and lived in Ponyville? He could think of only one. An old friend of his, he’d heard she was in charge of the Weather around here.
“... Rainbow! How long’s it been, huh? How’s life here in slow-pony central?” he asked, with a grin on his face. The two of them hadn’t seen each other in quite a while.
Rather than meeting his question with an answer, it was met at a hyperspeed hug from a cyan mare, ecstatic to him for the first time in a long time.
“You finally decided to come out here to Ponyville, huh? YES! Now, I know a perfect place to set up camp... Wow... Nice place, dude! Is that a signed poster from the Wonderbolts?!” Rainbow Dash was ecstatic, she hadn’t seen her old rival in several years. They used to play around constantly, but have since grown apart.
“Yep, got it from ‘em this last season. Heh, Soaren writes like a five-year-old...” Said the other Silver, modestly. Standing just a tad taller than Dashy, Silver Lining was quite the colt indeed. Believe it or not, he was one of the top graduates from flight school, and you could bet that any record Rainbow didn’t have for herself was held by this fellow.
While Silver directed the whole shebang towards the clearing Dashy had suggested, Rainbow took a personal tour of his house. But, even though he was happy to see some of his old friends, there was a question nagging him in the back of his head.
“Well, you’re not staying around here forever, are you? C’mon, one party before you go flying away again!” Dash begged. For whatever reason, RD wanted him at this party. Bad.
“You’re always telling me of these parties Pinkie throws for everyone! If whatever you say is true, then I’ll have my own party forced on me, right? How about we just avoid the situation?”
“Well, I guess... It’s just...”
“Well, Twilight Sparkle told me to invite you. She said you were a friend of hers, too.”
Silver’s eyes widened as they finally arrived above the party.
“...Who?”

How’s it going bros? My name is Serpenti and This, is The Omega Prophecy! This story is a collaboration between Dbanksischillin, Luminous, and Myself. I would like to point out that Grape Vine does belong to me, especially his snarky attitude! Now, take it away Dbanks!
Yeah well, now that Serpenti has finished the junk I was gonna do, I guess I might as well tell you people that updates may take a while since 2 out of the 3 authors shall be in school in about 2 or 3 weeks. On another side note this story is inspired because of us wanting to do a collab. And just so you guys and gals know Dust belongs to me. Hope you all enjoy.

(Grape Vine)
‘Why is there a cloud here? The Weather team said it was going to be clear skies all day! ’ That cloud was bothering Grape Vine like nothing else. Now, he’s usually not one to bother over unnecessary details unless it was his product, but the weather was controlled. If he’s told something, he damn well expects it to be exactly as he was told.
“Hey Twilight,” he called to the mare. She trotted over and looked at him questioningly. “Do you know why that cloud is there?” He asked with a raised eyebrow in question. She looked up and her looked to see where he was pointing, and her eyes widened in surprise. She lightly smiled to herself.
“I wouldn’t worry about it Darky. I know who it is.” She told him calmly. Grape vine’s eyes narrowed in suspicion.
“You mind tellin’ me who he is?” he asked in a low tone. Even after all these years of not seeing her, he still felt rather protective of her. If he found out who it was, he felt compelled to scare the daylights out of whoever it is. So, using his talent to read ponies, he probed for information.
Twilight noticed the look he was giving her, and laughed nervously. “I-it’s nopony important!” She exclaimed. Grape Vine raised an eyebrow. He saw her brush her hoof across the ground, and the laugh was a dead giveaway.
“Okay, so it is somepony you know. And apparently he was important enough for you to invite him here.” He deduced. Twilight’s eyes widened in surprise. Grape Vine didn’t used to be so good at spotting a lie. She wasn’t that obvious...was she?
Trying to save face, she tried denying that it was a stallion. “What makes you think it’s a stallion?” She asked with a sigh.
Grape Vine smirked. “Simple. You never denied it” He said with his grin growing bigger as Twilight slumped over in exasperation.
He looked back to the cloud and noticed two pegasi flying towards their location.
Grape vine grinned evilly.
‘Lets be a badcolt... ’
(Silver Lining)
As the cloud came to a halt over the party, it seemed to grab everyone’s attention. As much of a showboat as Silver was, he didn’t like tons of attention all of the time. After securing the cloud to it’s place in the sky, Dash and Silver began their descent.
“...A Library? Really, Dash? I’d never have pegged you for an intellectual.” Silver remarked. Not all too impressed by his surroundings, Silver felt a little out of place.
“Nah, one of my best friends lives here! Y’know, the one who invited you?” said Rainbow Dash. How could he have forgotten? Some mysterious mare inviting him to a party he had no idea was even there. As a shiver went down his spine, he made his way towards the other end of the room.
Faster than fast, his entire field of vision was pink. Like, Cotton Candy pink. Everywhere.
Immediately, the room went silent. Silver’s eyes filled with surprise and rage. You could cut the tension with a knife.
“Don’t... ever... call me that.” he growled. Pretty soon after, a dark-grey unicorn stood between the two of them.
“...Do we have a problem, kid?” asked Grape Vine. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen, but from the looks of it, he thought he could take this guy.
“Well, It sure looks like you’re about to, short stuff.” Silver unfurled his wings, and got ready to leap. He hadn’t fought in a long time, but he still remembered how to take someone down. Hard

Dust
Dust and Cloud Tamer had just walked into the door when they heard a pegasus say “Well, It sure looks like you’re about to, short stuff.” The pegasus then looked over at them and Dust just blended in. He stood there and wasn’t even noticed by the pegasus. He knew this because he only addressed Cloud Tamer “What hell are you doing here?”
Cloud Tamer just looked at him, “Well, considering I’m bringing the guest of honor for this party, nothing much. Guess I don't know what I’m doing here...” he snarks.
“I don’t see any “Guest”, I only see---” Stopping mid-sentence, Silver finally notices Dust.
Dust walks toward him and says quietly “ Just calm down, man.” He turns to the rest of the place, yelling “Come on, people! This is a PARTY!!!. Why are we all standing around here? Lets get this place going!!”
He hits the music player and it starts up again. He had just walked away from the main group when he saw a pink blur coming right for him. About to run away, he was tripped up by Cloud Tamer. “Oh, man... I will get you for this. Count on it .” Dust hissed towards Cloud Tamer.
His senses were then assaulted by what he came to know as Pinkie Pie. “ Hi there. I’m Pinkie Pie. What’s your name? Are you new here? How do you like the Party? Do you want to be friends? Do you like sweets? I like sweets. Especially cupcakes. Do you want to have some cupcakes?” and so on. From what he had observed before, the pink mare doesn’t stop babbling. Ever.
By the time she was done with her third question he just started answering back and so he said “I’m Dust. It seems fun and sure why not. Yes I like sweets and sure, I would love to have a cupcake.”
Like the way she appeared, she was gone in a blur. Dust then just blended in again and walked away. Pinkie showed up right in front of him and handed him a cupcake “ Why does it seem like you’re harder to see?” She asked. “How can you see me? Dust asked in return. “Silly willy. Im Pinkie Pie, and you’re trying to hide in your own party. Thats not nice.” She then pulled him out onto the dance floor and started to dance with him. He was feeling weirded out by the fact that she saw him but said “Screw it” and started to enjoy himself. Then he saw the Pegasus from before walking over to him and Pinkie.
He approached the pair and said “Sorry about earlier. I was just getting pissed off because of that Grape Vine guy. Names Silver Lining by the way. ” Dust says in reply “Its cool man. Just stay a little calmer next time okay Silver?”
With that Dust walked away from both Silver Lining and Pinkie Pie to find his friend Cloud Tamer talking with Twilight. He walked up and teased “Twilight and Cloud Tamer sittin’ in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a foal in a foal carriage. So how is it going over here?” To which Cloud Tamer sarcastically replied “And this is my friend, the new town fool. Don’t let his moronic nature fool you, though. He can be very smart.”
“Oh” Twilight said not really believing this. “Well then, why don't I give him a quick test?” 5 minutes later Dust is just standing there smirking as Twilight just looks at him in slack jawed wonder. “...B-But, those questions stumped even some of the brightest minds in Canterlot!” Dust snidely replies, “And yet I, a common Earth pony, solved them all. So either education for where I lived is better, or ponies in Canterlot are stupid.”
“Okay hold on and let me get the 2 others. I need to talk to all of you,” said Twilight, still reeling in shock. ‘My goodness, this might just work...’
We’re back, bros. ‘Sgo.
Silver Lining
It was much later, and the party had died down significantly. There were very few people left about, and everyone seemed quite partied-out. Everyone except Pinkie, that is. She was still buzzing around the party, hyper as ever.
Dust was busy familiarizing himself with the new town he was in, making a few acquaintances.Grape Vine had tried looking through a few of Twilight’s spellbooks, when he’d found a few on Potionmaking, and Alchemy.
“...Grapes? For reagents? What sort of “Potions” can one make with Grapes?” asked Grape Vine. He’d made all sorts of fancy drinks, and he’d used his magic in making them... But, he’d never thought of making magical drinks, y’know?
“Well,” started Twilight, “For one, I could make a potion of Tongues. Speak any language in the world, understood by all! Or a potion of Strength! Move walls with your bare hands!” she was flipping through the stack of books, like a kid in a candy store.
“...Mind if I borrow these?” he asked, motioning to a small pile of books he had gathered.
Twilight, giving the slightest smile, tells him, “Sure. It’s a library, after all. Besides, I think you’ll find them useful.”
Unsure of what she meant, Vines took a few books with him. If he had to be stuck here for awhile, he at least had something to read.
After the seventeenth pony had walked directly into Dust, he decided to stop being so “Stealthy” and start to socialize. It wasn’t long before he found several friendly ponies. He came to the center of the room to find a orange mare, sporting a Ten-Gallon and a pigtail
“...So you work at an Apple farm? That’s kinda neat.” he told her, staring at her flank.
“WHAT IN TARNATION DO Y’ALL THINK YOU’RE STARIN’ AT, HUH?” she yelled, getting everyone’s attention. she was obviously more embarrassed than angry.
“...Your cutiemark. It’s a bunch of apples. Like your brother’s over there. That, and you’ve been talking about work for the past five minutes.” he said calmly. Always blissfully unaware, he had no idea why she was so upset. He hadn’t thought twice about staring at her ass whilst eavesdropping. It hadn’t occurred to him she’d be upset.
“Uh, right, um... Well, yeah. I do. Now, what’s your mark, huh? Something ‘Sneaky?”
“Well, if by ‘Sneaky’ you mean ‘Unable to be seen’, then yeah. Pretty sneaky.” he said, motioning to his flank. From a distance, it looked barren, no mark at all. But, if you felt his skin around it, you could make out the faint outline of a night’s sky in his fur.
Elsewhere...
“Come on, ONE more Cupcake! They’re amazing!” she squealed, trying to convince Silver to force another one down. He loved sweets, but thirty-six cupcakes is enough to make anypony barf. Luckily, Silver wasn’t just anypony.
“...Maybe later, Pinkie.” he told her. Attempting to shift the topic, he started a bit of Q&A.
“...So, who’re all of these people? They seem to know you pretty well.” asked Silver, cleaning frosting from his hooves. he motioned to a semicircle of ponies near the center of the room, who all looked very busy.
“...Oh, they’re my best friends! This is Rarity,”
A white unicorn turned over her shoulder, “Hello, darling.”
“...Applejack,”
With a tip of her hat, “Howdy.”
“...Fluttershy
“H-Hi, uh... hello... um...” She told him, trying to be as quiet as possible.
“And these two are---”
“I already know Dashy and Twilight.” said Silver, wondering why he and Pinkie were now encircled by those other ponies.
“No time for introductions, Pinkie. I’m afraid that’s going to have to wait for later. Silver, will you and your friends follow me?” said Twilight. She looked very busy, and somewhat panicked.
“What, you mean Dashy and I?” Silver asked. Twilight calmly told him “No. The other two fellows who arrived around the same time you did. I thought you all knew each other already.”
“Oh, you mean the Outcast and the Drunkard? Sure.” he said, turning to Dust and Vines’ direction, across the room.
Grape Vine
“Oh, you mean the Outcast and the Drunkard? Sure.” Grape Vines head shot up from his book. His face twisted in annoyance.
“Who you callin’ “Drunkard” asswipe?” He calls out to the pegasus. Silver turns with his eyes narrowed. He’d had about enough of this guy tonight.
“You, ya drunkard!” He exclaims. He wasn’t about to step down from this small fry, with a similar state of mind. Grape Vine scoffed.
“What, you think you’re hot stuff just because you can fly around fast? I’ll tell you this right now, I couldn’t give a damn if you can fly or not, I’ll still beat you seven ways to sunday!” Grape vine insults. Grape vine’s and Silver’s heads were butting against each other. You could practically see the sparks flying between the two.
“Oh, a fight, is it?” he challenged. Silver’s eyes flared red, as he assumed a more “offensive” stance.
“When I’m done, they’ll need a mop to--” Before he could finish, he was intrerrupted.
“What do you need Sparkles?” He teased. Twilight blushed at the old nickname that he gave her from her fillyhood. She cleared her throat and prepared a long winded speech until she was interrupted before she could begin.
“Oh, this I’ve got to hear.” Dust appeared from seemingly nowhere. Almost like how Pinkie usually does. Odd how too almost complete opposites can have so much in common.
Twilight grinned happily, but soon looked stern. “Okay, but I want Silver and Grape vine to apologize to each other before we begin.”
Both respective ponies eyebrows shot up in surprise.
“Oh come on!” Both ponies shouted. They began glaring at each other again.
“Ah Ah! Apologize or I won’t say anything!” Twilight stomped her hoof on the ground and scolded them as if they were children. Even though Grape Vine is older than her by at least eight years.
Sighing, the ponies looked at each other. Grape vine began his apology.
“Look, we got off on the wrong hoof here. I’m Grape vine. Nice to meet ya’” He offered his hoof in respect.
Silver looked down and bumped his hoof with his own. With a grin, he also apologized. “Yeah, I’m Silver Lining. Nice meeting you two... Short stuff.” He once more made a jab at his height. He saw the vein on Vines head throb and he saw his face hardened but he still smiled.
“Thanks, meathead.” He jabbed back. Silvers grin widened.
“No problem, midget!” He thought he had him stumped. Oh how wrong he was...
“Well, ignoring the brainless wonder here, what did you need?” Silvers mouth dropped in surprise. He stopped the conversation and still got the last laugh!
The five other ponies actually looked ready to laugh, while Applejack and Rainbow dash looked on in surprise. Is this how they acted with each other?
‘Oh it’s on!’ Silver mentally vowed. He’ll catch him off guard eventually.
Sighing in frustration, Twilight continued where she left off. “Okay, who here has read the ‘Omega Prophecy’?”
Dust
“What, you mean that little mare’s tale?” Dust asked speculatively. “I saw a poster for it while walking into town with my friend. What’s that got to do with anything?”
Twilight looked over to Dust and asked “Do you believe that Nightmare Moon is a little mare’s tale? If so, how do you explain the Elements of harmony being back and Princess Luna being back on the throne?”
Grape Vine said “Well, thats easy, You and your friends were the ones who beat Nightmare Moon and used the Elements of harmony to bring back Luna. And I’m guessing the one who figured it out was you Sparkles.”
Twilight blushed at the compliment and went on to say “ Well thats what this is. Its a story that is truth. I do have a little experience with mares tales, if you remember.”
Silver Lining replied snarkily, “Well that was probably a fluke. I mean, didn't you go completely crazy one day?” He raised an eyebrow to her theories.
Grape Vine stepped up and yelled, “DON'T YOU DARE MAKE FUN OF HER! SHE IS WORTH A MILLION TIMES WHAT YOU ARE!” He trotted forward and looked up to Silver Lining’s eyes and dared him to make a move, trying to look as sober as possible.
Twilight said pleadingly “Darky, Silver, don't fight because of me please.”
Silver Lining looked him in the eye and didn't back down and inch, and then both got smacked upside the head by Dust.
SIlver Lining and Grape Vine round on Dust and whined “What the hell was that for? That hurt.” At least they agreed on something.
“Then you guys should shut it and listen instead of being idiots and fighting. Makes more sense right? Besides, can’t you see you’re making the lady over here nervous?” Dust reasoned.
They looked at each other and then looked to Twilight to see she was a little upset. They both decided to calm down and listen to what she had to say.
“Now, as I was saying, the Omega Prophecy is true and it concerns the three of you. Dust, you have no visible cutie mark and seem to be able to blend in anywhere. You are the Shadow of the prophecy. “
Dust replies nonchalantly “Well now, isn’t this a surprise. Heh, maybe I am. Guess we’re gonna have to wait and see, though.”
“Silver Lining, you are a fighter and a scrapper. Need I remind you of the tourna--”
“Having said that, all three of you were meant to come together to stop Chaos from overtaking Equestria and for making sure the Omega Prophecy is fulfilled.”
“Wait, wait, wait. You expect me to believe that i was mentioned a prophecy about how Equestria is going to be saved or something? Riiiiight. That’s complete bullshit. I’m outta here.” said Silver Lining as he arrogantly darted away, across the room, through the window, and into the sky.
Rainbow Dash saw him go and went after him, shouting “Silver! wait for me!”
Grape Vine said shakily, “Sparkles, I can’t be this Alchemist. I’m only a winemaker. But thanks for the books. I’ll see you soon lil’ filly.” He rubbed her mane and headed on out, not entirely sure how he felt.
Dust stood there and gently replies “Now this is something I’m used too. Being alone. See you later, Miss Sparkle. Maybe we are who you say we are, I don't think I’m going to hold my breath though.” and with that he faded into the crowd and walked away.
