Life inside a Book: Volume 1
Prologue | Once upon a time
Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is to precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.

Long ago there were two beings from different races that came from light and darkness, they both gave birth to a child who goes by the name "Tour." The boy was different among the others, he inherited the light from his mother and the darkness from his father, however, it was hard for him to control both light and dark magic since it was said by the elders in churches that light and darkness don’t mix. The poor boy would spend days in his room laying in bed, gripping tightly on the sheets, enduring the pain that surged through his right arm to his entire body.
Tour couldn’t make any friends from the children at school... they all hated him, despise him, rejected him but most of all they were afraid of him. And it wasn’t just the children the ponies in his hometown didn’t accept him, they just treated him like he was an entirely new species. What made Tour different from the others was his spand between his judgment, application skills and his mobility. And he was more scared of himself more then they were scared of them.
The average level of light and darkness from a child or an adult can go up to one to a hundred and nine percent, but the boy astoundingly could go even higher than a hundred. How high is unknown but that’s what made his father more curious and found more interesting. When the boy reached the age of six his parents passed away, his mother’s words echoed over and over in his brain before taking her final breath. ”Take care of yourself my child, never give up on hope. And always be kind to those around you...”
Those words stained his mind and he’ll always remember them for as long as he lived. Life continued to reject him but he tried his best to endure it, for the first time in his life he created something, a book, with thousands of pages and a light brown leathery cover. He didn’t know what to do with it at first so he kept it close to him for the time being. Tour would spend most of his days watching the view of his hometown; the large trees and a field of grass as they dance slowly through the wind.
Often times he would go through his thoughts as he stared blankly at the horizon. He wondered why everypony was so terrified of him, why they hated him for what he is... and why he couldn’t make a friend.
When Tour reached the age of fifteen, he started learning how to draw on his book. He even made a few changes and gave the book a name. Equestrian valia He drew images of a world that he tried to piece together in his mind. Mountains that reached high to the sky, huge bunnies hoping around the forest as their large feet and paws shook the ground, giant hawks that were as big as a dragon, large hyphenlike whales breaching through the surface before diving back down.
As the light drew from his right hand, creating all types of comfort, safety and security... darkness flowing through his left hand created spots around his world that are dangerous and creatures that had evolved to kill any living life form.
After months of hard work, Tour’s world within the book was a success and it was now time for him to give it a test run. As the moon was taking it’s place Tour packed everything and moved as far away from his home and the town he once lived in so that no one would ever find him or the book. Once he was sure he was alone he sat next to a large tree, closed his eyes and whispered Those few words to himself. “Teleport...”
Tour spend weeks alone in his own magical world, but not to long till he created the first pony mare that he named after the sun. Sunset. She had hands and feet like Tour did, her beautiful skyblue eyes glowed brightly like a gem, long locks of yellow and red hair, her soft coated furr and a nose and ears like a pony. When she was born she was so lost and didn’t know what was going on, but Tour did explain to her everything she needed to hear and after that they started spending they’re time together. Not long after Sunset came to be apart of this world he added eight more mares to the list and gave each of them their names.
The purple lavender Twilight, the riding cowgirl AppleJack, the pro party maker Pinkie pie, the blue pegasus Rainbow dash, Fluttershy the most shies of the group, the expert of fashion Rarity. And the last two that take charge of the sun and moon, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. As time pass Tour treated them with so much kindness, care and gave them a place where they could call home, but besides Twilight and the others Sunset was the closets to him. And as they got close both of them began to develop feelings for each other, a feeling a Tour and Sunset has never felt before. What is it? What is this feeling that makes they’re heart skipped a beat? Is... is this? Is this what they call... Love?
Tour knew now that his feelings were clear: He was in love with Sunset... and he knew what he had to do now. Tour took the shimmering mare to the high mountains were they could be alone, on the whole way there he started gathering all the strength to prep himself for what he was gonna tell her. The young boy was so nervous he started having second thoughts; what if she rejects him? What if she doesn’t see him that way? What if she hates him like the children he met back at kindergarten? No! It’s too late to back down now! If he doesn’t tell her now he’ll regret it for as long as he lived.
Celestia’s sun was now setting and Luna’s moon was on the horizon, Tour held Sunset’s hand gently before staring at her, and confessed his feelings to her, all the times they spend together, their laughs, how he never met anypony as amazing as her. All those magnificent memories, he will treasure them forever. Once he was done confessing, he cleared his throat and said those three words that made Sunset’s chest thumped a third time. "I love you... Sunset."
After telling everypony the news they were shocked at first but happy at the same time, they even cheered for them at there wedding. Tour and Sunset wanted to share their happiness with everyone at Pinkie pie’s party, all of them had a wonderful time. Except... One. When the song had died they said their goodbyes and head home, Sunset and Tour did the same. They ended their night by sleeping together in bed, holding each other close. Nothing could ever ruined this night for the both of them right?
Tour wished he hadn’t asked that question but it was too late to take it back now. As his mind was about to reach the land of dreams, a light glowed in the room, it was small but it got brighter in seconds. He opened only one eye to check who it was before both of his eyes widen as the light grew bigger. He didn’t see the blast coming as the light exploded blinding him and sending him out cold. The last thing he heard was Sunset, yelling his name.
