Chapters Starfleet Magic: Season 2
Episode 1: Prehistoric Discovery
It's been three months since the defeat of King Sombra. Princess Sapphire Shimmer and her friends have been living peacefully on United Equestria; training and continuing to protect the Dimensional Universe from danger. Now they were all in the throne room with their rulers; Grand Ruler Celesto and Queen Celestia.
"So any dangers so far, Lightning Dawn?" Grand Ruler asked.
"No, Master." he replied. "Still clam and peaceful."
That's when Princess Sapphire Shimmer came into the room. "Hey, guys." she panted. The team could tell she's been training in the dojo. For the pass three months, Sapphire's been training and has mastered for different kinds of magic. Nature Magic; the magic to control lighning, fire, water, grass and earth. Valkyrie Magic: just like the girls and Queen Celestia, Sapphire represents six Elements of Harmony; Strength, Bravery, Beauty, Healing, Sorcery and Hope. Hidden inside is a special magic that changes her into armor completed with a skirt, headband and a sword and shield with all her elements of it. Roar of Harmony; a combination of the Elements of Harmony and Sapphire's own magic, it creates four, roaring lions and can blast a multi-colored beam at the opponent, imprisoning them in a capture sphere made from the Elements magic. And finally, Uniforce; like Lightning and Grand Ruler, Sapphire has a golden stripe on her horn, allowing her to access the most powerful form of magic in existence. Before, using the Uniforce would make her really tired, but overtime, she's perfected her attack and is now able to use many times without getting tired like Lightning.
The team and their majesties were very proud of how far shes come. Sapphire was created in a lab by humans and was treated like an animal; receiving beating for 'misbehaving' and sometimes going days without food. Blue and her raptors were the only ones who treated her with kindness. Then, one day, she, the raptors and other dinosaurs broke out of the lab.
Years and years went by with Sapphire being alone with the exception of her pink alicorn, Kyara. Then the two met Lightning and the gang. They helped Sapphire overcome her past and gain confidence in the process. Going through this, Sapphire was revealed to have more magic than any creature they've known. In the end, that all came together when Sapphire defeated King Sombra. Also, Mykan discovered that he had feelings for Sapphire and she felt the same way and the two became a couple.
"Hey Sapphire, how was your training session?" Rainbow asked.
"It was great!' she replied.
"Well that's good, cause even a Princess needs to defend herself." Lightning lectured. Sapphire rolled her eyes. Lightning and the team have also been known to be a little over protective of her. "Relax, I had a little help." That's when Sapphire's Velociraptor friends showed up. Blue, the leader with a blue stripe down her back. Charlie, a grayish-green raptor with black vertical stripes on his back. Echo, a brown raptor with a scar on the left side of her muzzle and Delta, a teal colored raptor with no distinct markings on her body.
The raptors all growled a greeting to the ponies. Suddenly, the warning alarms sounded. The noise made the raptors screech. "What's going on?" Starla asked.
“Stop those alarms!” shouted Celestia.
Captain Shaina came into the room, “Your majesties! Sensors detect a rouge object headed our way; it’s a metor!”
“Meteor?!” cried Rarity.
“Prepare to intercept.” said Lightning, but to his surprise, “No need…” said Shaina “Infrared scanning shows it’s unarmed. It has no warhead or explosives of any kind.”
That was most unusual, and everyone looked out the windows and could see the meteor heading straight for the palace grounds.
“Here it comes!” cried Buddy.
CRASH!! That was all that happened, the meteor just plopped into the ground, and it did no real damage at all.
“Send the de-contamination squad.” Grand Ruler ordered.
A squad of ponies wearing special suits marched out to examine the missile and decontaminate it of any radiation or other elements.
“Where did this missile come from do you think?” asked Artie
“We’ll soon find out.” said Rainbow.
As the pony-team worked on the missile, one of the members found a small hatch on the missile and peeked inside; he couldn’t believe his eyes…! Inside were six stones; each with a nature symbol; lightning, wind, grass, fire, water and earth. They also had a small chip shaped like a dinosaur foot.
In addition to the stones, there were also thirteen cards as well. Two each had the same symbol as the stones.
And finally, there were two small devices inside as well.
Soon, all the items were given to their majesties. Everyone was amazed by the cards especially Sapphire. 'Wow, A Styracosaurus, Acrocanthasaurus, Amargasaurus, Stegosaurus, Fukuisaurus, Allosaurus and Deinonychus!"
"But what do these stones do?" Starla asked. "Let's see." Sapphire picked up the six stones and messed with the little chip on them. Just then, the stones began to glow as well as her. "Woah." Rainbow gasped.
"What's happening?" Fluttershy asked in fear.
"I don't know." Sapphire put the stones down except the lightning stone. Looking between the Styracosaurus card and the stone, Sapphire began to think. "I wonder." Picking up the card, she placed the chip on the card and rubbed it. Immediately the card glowed and it changed into a real Styracosaurus. It roared and stared at the ponies.
The ponies freaked and hit behind their majesties. "It- It CAME TO LIFE!" Lightning screamed.
"And it doesn't look happy." Buddy whimpered.
"Sapphire, put that creature back!" Rarity screeched.
"Alright." she replied nonchalantly. She messed with the chip again and the Styracosaurus turned back into a card. A moment of silence passed.
"What just happened?" Pinkie asked.
"A dinosaur just appeared and then turned back into a card." Artie summarized. "Maybe it was a hologram?"
"No way! That dinosaur was real!" Sapphire exclaimed with excitement.
"But how? Cause of the stone?" Applejack said. Even their majesties didn't have a clue about this. "Sapphire wait!" Lightning cried. She was messing with the card and chip again. "That could bring it out again."
"That's alright, I'll just put it back in." She swiped the card across he chip backwards and the card glowed and fell to the ground and changed into a baby Styracosaurus. A chibi form. It looked at her and tilted it head.
"HUH?" Everybody gasped.
"Awww... It's so cute!" Fluttershy cooed. The little dino walked up to Sapphire. "Hey there little guy."
The dino nuzzled her leg. "Okay." Grand Ruler said slowly. "So now we have... dinosaur cards and stones here?"
"Yeah." Lightning went over to the other cards. "What about these other cards?" he asked, referring to the other cards that came with the dinosaur cards. Sapphire came over and looked at them "They look like move cards."
"Move cards? You mean like attacking move cards?" Dyno asked.
"That what they look like." Sapphire replied.
"So what do we do with them?" Starla asked.
"Well, we should have Professor Brain study the stones. Just to be safe." Celestia suggested. The team agreed. "Can I go get Mykan, he'd want to see this too?" Sapphire asked.
"Of course, Sapphire." Grand Ruler replied.
Soon, everybody was present in the lab, including Mykan Stevens; a 19 year old, peach-colored male with short, brown hair and a science prodigy and Sapphire's boyfriend. Princess Luna, Queen Celestia's sister and Grand Ruler's sister-in-law was preset as well. Usually she's asleep in her room but she decided to wake up for this.
"So what do you have one the stones, Professor?" Luna asked.
"It appears the stones contain the life essence of all the dinosaurs that have lived."
"Life essence?" Artie asked. "How?"
Mykan thought about that explanation. "Well, on my planet, the dinosaurs went extinct 65 million years ago. So what I'm thinking is that somehow their spirits remained and came together to form the stones plates."
"But what about the cards?" Buddy questioned.
"Somehow, someone must have been able to travel back and turn the dinosaurs into cards." Mykan added.
"That would be the closes we can get to an explanation." Celestia agreed. Just then, the alarms sounded again and a loud roars were heard. "What's going on?" Lightning asked. Starla rushed to the window. "Galloping Galaxies! More dinosaurs!"
"WHAT?!" Everybody exclaimed. They rushed to the window and saw for themselves.
Three dinosaurs: A Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus and a Sachina were rampaging through town. They were all black with yellow markings, smashing everything in their path. The civilians were running in a panic and rushing to the nearest shelter. "Oh my goodness!" Fluttershy cried.
"Let's move!" Lightning snapped. The team nodded and they flew out the window. Sapphire looked at the lightning, wind and grass stones. "Can I have these for a second, Professor?"
"Uuh.. sure, but why?"
"I want to test something with these cards and the stones." She placed one of the devices on her pants and the other on her wrist. She pressed a button on the device, sitting on the table. It opened up and revealed an empty space. She placed the three stones inside and then closed the device. She then placed the three move cards into the device on her pants. She turned to their majesties and the Professor, "I'll be back!" and she flew out the window.
"Will she be alright?" Luna asked.
"We just have to hope she and the team will succeed with the dinosaurs." Grand Ruler replied.
Meanwhile, Lightning and the others were blasting the dinosaurs with their attacks.
"STAR SHOWER!"
"DRILL QUILL!"
"PAINT BOMB!"
BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS!"
"VINE WHIP!"
"UNIFORCE!"
The attacks seemed impressive, but the dinosaurs didn't receive much damage from the attacks at all. The dinosaurs roared and the Tyrannosaurs and Spinosaurus tired to bite the ponies, but they zipped out of the way. Even physical moves didn't have much effect. The girls moved in and punched and kicked the dinos, it was affective, however, the T'rex and Spinosaurus simply weren't affected enough and the girls didn't even try to attack the Sachina because when they got close to it, the dino would waved it's tail at them, making them back off.
"These things are tougher than they look." Rainbow grunted.
"None of our attacks make them even flinch!" Artie added. Lightning was already growing annoyed with these dinosaurs. "They have to have some weakness, but what?" That's when they heard laughter. "They don't have a weakness you imbeciles!"
The team looked down and saw four adults appearing on the scene.
A 28 year old women. She has green hair with two strands sticking out and one curly strand and hazel eyes. She wears a dark red, jumpsuit-like outfit, where it connects to her choker. A diamond-shaped cut out in her jumpsuit reveals her navel. She wears a burgundy-colored cloak with pointed edges. On her arms, she has a light pink glove that reveals her fingers and runs up to the upper arm. She wears red high heels. Name: Ursula.
A 24 yer old name with purple hair and brown eyes. He's a little on the chubby side. Name: Ed.
A 31 year old man. He is the tallest of the three and has black hair and brown eyes underneath round, black glasses. Name: Zander.
And finally, a male about the same height as the chubby male but he had white spiky hair and a bread. Also he wore a lab coat. Name: Dr. Z. The three adults were holding devices as well.
"Who are you suppose to be?!" Starla snarled.
"The Alpha Gang, ponies!" Dr. Z said.
"I'm Ursula."
"I'm Zander."
"And I'm Ed."
"And what are you doing here and whose dinosaurs are these?" Lightning asked.
Ursula laughed. "Why there ours." The ponies were appalled. "Why are you letting these creatures just roam around and destroy everything?!" Buddy growled.
"Because we want those cards that were the meteor you found." Zander replied.
"What? Why do you want them?" Artie asked.
The entire gang chuckled. "That's an Alpha Gang secret." Dr. Z said. "Now hand over those cards before I have these dinosaurs kill all these ponies." The ponies anger boiled. "There's no way you'll hurt theses civilians." Lightning claimed.
"And what can you do about it? Your attacks have no affect on our dinosaurs?" Ed questioned. The ponies grunted.
"Hey!" The ponies and the Alpha Gang looked and saw Sapphire appearing on the scene holding three dinosaur cards. Dr. Z gasped. "My cards! Give them to me!" he demanded.
"No, cause I'm gonna show you what happened when you mess with this kingdom.
DINO-SLASH! STYRACOSAURUS, CHARGE!
ALLOSAURUS, BLEW THEM AWAY!
SPRING UP, FUKUISAURUS!"
(The transformations are like this)
The three dinosaurs landed and roared at the Alpha Gang's dinos. The ponies were amazed the dinosaurs transformation.
"Awesome!" Rainbow stated.
Dr. Z growled. "Urusla, Zander, Ed. Capture those dinosaurs now!"
"Right doctor." they said in unison. "Terry, Spiny, Tank! Attack!"
The three dinosaurs charged in. Styracosaurus lunged at Terry, engaging in a small power struggle; ramming each other and smacking each other with their tail. They did this until, it placed it horns underneath Terry and tossed him into the air! Allosuaurs roared and smacked Spiny with it's tail, knocking him to the ground and Fukuisaurus leaped over Tank and slammed on her back, sending her some distance away and flipping her upside down. "Alright, keep it up you three!" Lightning cheered. Their majesties were watching from the palace's tallest terrace. They were impressed with the dinosaurs strengths.
Dr. Z growled. "Don't just stand there, use the move cards!"
"Right." they said and took out a move card each and slashed it.
"TAIL SMASH!"
The three dinosaurs roared and charged Sapphire's dinosaurs. "Lookout!" Starla cried.
Sapphire quickly took out her three move cards and slashed them.
"ELECTRIC CHARGE!"
"NINJA ATTACK!"
"METAL WING!"
Lightning clouds came over Styracosaurus and a bolt of lightning struck it. The frill glowed in rainbow colors as it's horns sparked with lightning. It roared and charged Terry, striking him in the stomach and tossing him through the air. He crashed to the ground and turned back into a card.

Allosaurus roared and rushed towards Spiny. As it did five duplicates of it's self appeared and they all circled Spiny. One-by-one, the duplicates and the real dinosaurs rammed Spiny until he turned back into a card.
Three pterosaurs appeared behind Fukuisaurus, they dove towards Tank and they each slashed Tank. She roared in pain and collapsed onto the floor and turned back into a card.
The Alpha Gang were shocked and horrified while the ponies and their majesties were amazed. The Alpha Gang ran over and picked up the cards. "This isn't over, brat. We'll get those cards back from you, if it's the last thing we do." Urusla declared and the gang ran away. Styracosaurus, Fukuisaurus and Allosaurus roared in victory. "Alright, you three. Return."
She pressed the button and the three turned back into cards. She slashed the cards backwards and the cards turned into chibi forms of the dinosaurs. "Hehe. You three were great." she praised. The dinosaurs cutely roared at Sapphire. "Sapphire!"
She turned around and saw Lightning and the other fluttering down to her. "Hey."
"That was amazing, Sapphire, you beat them in one move!" Rainbow cried, happily.
"Yeah, they beat them in record time." Buddy added.
Lightning smiled at her. He rubbed her dinosaurs heads. "These creatures sure are something alright." Sapphire smiled at them. "They sure are."
"Let's go back to the palace." Artie suggested. The other agreed and soon were in the throne room. Rarity used her magic to create the images from the battle. Their majesties were impressed with the dinosaurs overall power and strength. "It appears these dinosaurs are more powerful than we thought." Grand Ruler said.
"Indeed. However, these Alpha Gang people sound like a new enemy." Celestia added.
"Yeah and they said they wanted all the dinosaur cards." Lightning stated.
"So there must be more cards out there." Starla added. "Which means we'll have to get them first."
"Yeah. Something tells me the Alpha Gang wants to use the dinosaurs for evil purposes." Sapphire claimed.
"Don't worry, Sapphire. We won't let those creeps get the dinosaur cards." Pinkie reassured. "That's a promise."
Sapphire smiled at them all and her dinosaur friends. "Alright then... let's do it." The team cheered in agreement. They had a long roar ahead of them. It was a race to gather the dinosaur cards and save the dinosaurs from the Alpha Gang.
Starfleet Magic: Season 2
Episode 2: One Hot Capture
Lightning Dawn and all his friends were out in the meadow outside of New Ponyville. Their majesties were present as well. Yesterday, they discover six stones and thirteen dinosaur cards in a meteor that crashed. Soon, they encounter the Alpha Gang who were destined ato collect all the dinosaur cards, including Sapphire's. The reason why was unknown.
For now, the team wanted to study just how strong the dinosaurs were. "Alright, Sapphire, bring them out." Lightning said.
"Right." She took out the six cards and slashed them.
"STARFLEET SLASH! DINOSAURS ARISE!"
And just like that, the six dinosaurs appeared and roared. Fluttershy and Pinkie were amazed at the beauty of the dinosaurs. "They're beautiful." Fluttershy praised.
"Alright, Sapphire. First, we'll test you dinosaurs strength in battle." Grand Ruler stated. He took out his piece of the Rainbow Rod and Celestia took out her matching piece. They nodded at each other and combined the two and the rod began to glow, consuming their bodies into light entities and whirling round and around. Everyone watched in awe as the two forms of light swirled in spiral-loops and came together to form Grand Celestial Ruler.
"First, we'll test you Acrocanthosaurus and Amargasaurus strengths." Lightning said.
"Alright, Blaze, Strom, ready?" Sapphire called. The two dinosaurs roared in agreement while the other four backed away.
Blaze and Storm charged The Ruler. The Ruler dodged and punched Blaze, but he roared and smacked them with it's tail. The Ruler lunged again at the two but Blaze tried to bite them. They zipped away, but Storm came in and bashed them, sending them crashing to the ground. "Woah."
The Ruler got up just as Storm charged them. They flew high in air and prepared to slash him with it's scepter, however, they didn't expect Blaze to jump high into the air too. He roared and The Ruler looked behind and saw it's silhouette above them. They tried to avoid it but Blaze came down and smacked them with it's head. The Ruler crashed into the ground. "Wow, they use teamwork to attack The Ruler! Amazing!" Lightning cried.
The Ruler staggered to it's feet and decided to use their attack. They powered up the staff and recited the magical chant.
“Cosmic powers, hear our call Come forth now, and make evil fall Nevermore will darkness reign, Let peace and harmony replace the pain Now let be finished what has begun And through the darkness shall light now run Let hope shimmer and burden so bright… I summon forth the…
and unleashed the “MYSTIC LIGHT!”
The blast headed straight towards Blaze and Storm. Sapphire took out their move cards.
"MAGAMA BLASTER!"
"FUTBA SUPER CANNON!"
Blaze's mouth filled with fire and he stomped his foot. Rearing back, he unleashed a large stream of fire at the blast while a pool of water came in front of Storm and a Futabasaurus appeared. It opened it mouth and formed a ball of water then it blasted a powerful stream of water at the blast. The three combined and after a power struggle the dinos attacks pushed back The Ruler's attack!
"What!" The Ruler cried as the two attacks hit them hard. They skidded across the ground until they crashed into some trees. "Ruler!" Lightning cried. He and the team rushed to the crash site.
The Ruler groaned as they got up and defused into Grand Ruler and Celestia. Both of them were pretty banged up; scratches and a few bruises. "Are you two alright?" Starla asked.
The two nodded. "Well, the strength test is a success." Grand Ruler groaned. Sapphire returned her dinosaurs to the cards. "Sorry, I guess they overdid it."
"No, no, Sapphire, we're fine." Celestia reassured.
"Come on let's get you two to the palace to heal." Lightning said as he lifted his master into his arms bridal style, while Starla did the same with Celestia. "Krysta."
"Right."
Krysta used her magic to warp the team to the palace sickbay. However, they didn't notice that some of the flames floated around in the air. The flames hit a dinosaur card, it glowed red and turned into a large carnivorous dinosaur! It roared and saw New Ponyville in the distance. It decided to go have a look.
At the Alpha Gang's headquarters, Dr. Z and his minions were in the lab where he finished three new move cards for them. "Here, these cards we'll definitely help us capture those dinosaurs."
"Okay, Dr." Ursula said. Then their Alpha Scanner began blinking and beeping. "Another dinosaur!" Ed cried.
"Where?" Dr. Z asked.
"It looks like it's in a town somewhere."
"Well then, go get it!"
"Alpha Gang, ready!"
At the sickbay, their majesties were treated for their wounds, luckily, they were only minor injuries. Sapphire had her dinosaurs in their chibi mode. "Once again, sorry that I overdid it."
"Sapphire, it's alright. We're fine." Celestia reassured. Suddenly, her husband screamed in pain and the gang soon saw why. The Styracosaurus, which Sapphire named Bolt was chomping on Grand Ruler's leg... again. "Bolt, stop it! This instance! Stop!" he cried.
Sapphire giggled, "Come here, girl." she picked up Bolt, who reached out it's legs at Grand Ruler, wanting to get more chomping in. "Now, now, no chomping on his majesty."
Bolt roared softly.
Just then her device which she called her Dino Bracer began bleeping. "What the-?"
She looked at it and saw a red light. "What is it, Sapphire?"
"I think my bracer is detecting a dinosaur nearby."
"WHAT?" Everybody exclaimed.
"Where is it?" Starla questioned. Before Sapphire could answer Captain Shania came running towards them. "Your majesties! News from New Ponyville, some large creature is roaming the town."
"Oh no!" Pinkie cried.
"Let's move!" Lightning snapped. The team agreed and Sapphire turned her dinosaurs into cards and followed the gang out the window.
In New Ponyville, the dinosaur was walking around and roaring. The civilians screamed in fear and dashed for safetly. It opened it's mouth and launched a large fireball at the buildings. Luckily they were protected by the shields. The team arrived on the scene and saw the dinosaur attacking. "It's using Fire Cannon!" Sapphire identified.
The dinosaur then headed towards New Ponyville Elementary School. "No! It's heading towards the school!" Lightning cried. Applejack, Rainbow, Rarity and Buddy were all worried about their younger siblings.
"Applebloom!"
"Scootaloo!"
"Sweetie Belle!"
"DD!"
"Don't I'll stop it!" Sapphire claimed as she dashed to the school while the rest of the team dealt with the fires.
*Mykan's POV*
Me and Cheerliee were busy handing the students back their tests.
“Very good, excellent, not bad, needs improvement...”
I handed Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon’s tests back, and they both had a C-Minus. “What?” snapped Diamond “But how can this be.”
“Yeah, we studied extra hard.” whined Silver Spoon
I ignored their whining and then turned to the Cutiemark Crusaders. I smiled at them very proudly, “Very well done, girls.” and I handed then all their tests, which had perfect scores!
The girls all smiled,
“Wow! Our new study group has really helped us a lot.” said Sweetie Belle.
“You see, class…” I said to the children “With a little self-discipline and a lot of concentration, you’ll find you’re capable doing more than you think.”
Applebloom raised her hand.
“Yes, Applebloom?”
“Um… is all this studyin’ and hard work how you became the man you are today, Mr. Stevens?”
I chose my next words carefully, “Well, I do owe a lot of what I am today through a lot of hard work, but remember this, children: Fate works in mysterious ways, and sometimes, things just happen all at once.
After all, I originally came to your world by a stroke of fate, not out of design.”
I surpassed my painful memories of how Lord Titan changed my life, using me a guinea pig for his portal test, and he killed my girlfriend, Michelle. That was two years ago.
“The point is,” I quickly said “Things can just happen, like a bolt of lightning that strikes without warning.”
POW!! That’s when a loud noise, like thunder was heard outside.
“Was that thunder?” asked Scootaloo.
DD who was sitting closest to the window looked up at the sky, “Whoa! Check it out!”
All the students rushed to the windows, and I looked outside as well. There, was a large dinosaur. It was 44 feet in length and 12 feet in height. It was green with markings on it's back.
“That’s a Carcharodontosaurus!” I said. The children were amazed. They never seen a dinosaur before, but that excitement turned to horror when the dinosaur unleashed a fireball from it's mouth, nearly hitting the school! "It's alright children, there's no need to panic." Cheerliee cooed, trying to clam the children down. The Carcharodontosaurus roared and began to charge right towards the school. "That big fella's gonna destroy the school!" Applebloom cried.
Suddenly, Sapphire came down in front of the school.
"STARFLEET SLASH! AMARGASAURUS, GUSH OUT!"

Storm appeared and charged the Carcharodontosaurus, using his neck he knocked the dinosaur to the ground. "Way'd a go, Storm keep it up!" Sapphire cheered.
Just then, a black and yellow Spinosaurus appeared and leaped on top of Storm. "Hey!"
That's when we all saw three adults. "Alpha Gang." Sapphire snarled. "What do you want?"
"We came here for the dinosaur, so back off, you half-pint." Ursula demanded.
"No way, old lady!" A tick mark appeared on the women's head. "I am not an old lady!"
"Never mind that, just get the dinosaur!" Zander replied. "Oh, right." Ursula added. "Spiny, knock the dinosaur back into it's card and we're going home!"
Spiny roared but Storm flung him off his back, sending him to the ground. Spiny got up and charged Storm. Spiny grabbed Storm by the neck but Storm managed to toss Spiny back and forth until he slammed him onto the ground. Storm wasn't done there. He charged Spiny at full speed, colliding with him with such force, causing a lot of dust and smoke to circle the place. The CMC's were amazed.
"Awesome!" Scootaloo claimed.
"Sapphire's beatin' them for sure." Applebloom added. Me and Cheerliee were also amazed by the dinosaurs battle. "Ursula, this is not looking good. Throw in the towel." Zander said.
"That thing is kicking Spiny's butt." Ed added.
"Thank you both for you confidence." Ursula pulled out a Water-Type move card.
"Did you forget the special move card that Dr. Z gave us?"
"Oh Yeah, the move card." Zander replied.
"Swipe the card and let's swipe that dinosaur." Ursula stated as she gave the card to Zander. Zander slashed the card.
"Go Spinosaurus SHOCK WAVE!"
A large amount of water surrounded Spiny. Sapphire knew what they were doing. "Oh yeah?" she took out her own move card for Storm.
"WATER SWORD!"
Spiny launched the attack just as Storm made a sword of water from it's mouth and sliced the Shock Wave attack with it. The result was a spinning tube of water. "Woah." I gasped silently.
Ursula growled. The Carcharodontosaurus roared and charged at Spiny knocking him to the ground. "Hey pal, what's the big deal?!" Ursula exclaimed in shock. The dinosaur responded with another fireball, blasting Spiny and sending him flying. "Spiny!" Zander cried. The Spinosaurus skidded across the ground. Sapphire took out another move card "Alright Storm, let's finish them. ULTIMATE WATER!"
Storm roared and a wave of water launched him at Spiny. He made contact and sent Spiny rolling across the ground. He glowed blue and turned back into a card. "Alright, Storm!"
"Wah!" The Alpha Gang cried. Zander raced over and picked up Spiny's card. "You'll pay for this, you brat!" Ed said. The Carcharodontosaurus came in front of the Alpha Gang and roared. They screamed and ran away in fear. "Bye bye, Alpha Gang."
"We'll get you for this!" Ursula declared.
When they were gone for the day, the Carcharodontosaurus turned to Storm. It roared at him. Sapphire knew it wanted to finish the battle before the Alpha Gang interrupted.
"Alright big fella, let's finish this." Sapphire said.
Carcharodontosaurus roared and prepared another Fire Cannon attack. "Storm, hit in the mouth!" Sapphire ordered. Storm roared and charged Carcharodontosaurus. It smacked it's head into the mouth, making the dinosaur hit itself. It collapsed, glowed red and turned back into two cards.
Sapphire ran over and picked them up. "Don't worry, you're safe now." She returned Storm to his card.

Sapphire came into the school to check on the children. Entering the room, she was greeted by a roar of applause and cheers from the children. She blushed, "Everyone alright?"
"Yes, we're alright, Sapphire." Mykan replied.
"No body was hurt." Cheerliee added.
That's when Lightning and the team arrived in the room. "Applebloom, are you alright?" Applejack asked in a panic. Rarity, Rainbow and Buddy asked their younger relatives the same thing. The CMC's calmed their siblings down and told them about the dinosaur battle. "The Alpha Gang tried to take the Carcharodontosaurus?!" Lightning exclaimed.
"Yes, but Sapphire and Storm beat them into the ground." Mykan replied. Sapphire showed the gang the cards, "and I got the cards before them."
"Great work Sapphire. You saved the children and the dinosaur." Starla praised. Sapphire smiled and Lightning and the team were proud of her and Storm. She took out Storm's card and swiped it backwards, turning him into a chibi form. "Well, Storm, looks like you were a hero today." Sapphire said.
Storm roared happily.
Soon, the gang were back at the royal palace. Mykan was present as well. "So the Alpha Gang tried to capture the Carcharodontosaurus?" Celestia asked.
"Yes, they came in when Storm had it on the ground. They tried to beat Storm so I couldn't stop them from taking the dinosaur." Sapphire explained. Grand Ruler thought about this information. "Well then, we'll have to be more careful. But the real question is how did the dinosaur get activated in the first place?"
"Maybe it had something to do with earlier?" Sapphire suggested.
"What do you mean?" Celestia asked.
"After you two were taken to the hospital I noticed some of the flames from Blaze's attack flying in the wind. I didn't think anything of it but I think one of the flames hit the Carcharodontosaurus card, activating the dinosaur."
"So you're saying the dinosaur can be activated without the stones?" Mykan asked.
"It appears the dinosaurs can also be activated when they touch their natural element." Grand Ruler theorized. "If this is true then we'll have to be extremely careful. Who knows what or when the next dinosaur will appear."
The team saluted in response. For now, everything was peaceful... for now.
Starfleet Magic: Season 2
Episode 3: A Mother's Love
It was a warm and peaceful night in the Everfree Forest. The wind was blowing smoothly. A dinosaur card was following in the wind as well. It was blown behind Fluttershy's cottage. The card landed on the grass and glowed green. It changed into a hardosaur dinosaur. It looked around and saw nothing but the cottage, but she wasn't worried about that. Next, to her were two large eggs; her nest. The dinosaur decided to go out and find something to eat. Quietly getting up she walked away from the nest, leaving her eggs behind.
The next morning, Sapphire, Lightning and his friends were at the Cake's Cafe for some breakfast. Sapphire's chibi dinosaurs were present as well. Sapphire named the rest of her dinosaurs.
The Styracosaurus: Blitz
The Amargasaurus: Storm
The Fukuisaurus; Blossom
The Allosaurus: Swift
The Stegosaurus: Quake
The Deionychus: Deino, Dana and Dano
The Cake's were more than happy to give the herbivores some salads while they gave the carnivores some steak for breakfast. That's when Fluttershy burst into the room, out of breath. "Guys... come.. quick!"
"What is it, Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked.
"No.. time!" Not wanting to waste another second the gang followed Fluttershy to her cottage where Rhymey was waiting. Moving to the back of the cottage the gang gasped. "Are those eggs?" Lightning questioned.
"Yeah. It is, but where did it come from?" Pinkie added.
"That's is unclear
Starla crouched down near the eggs, "Well we can't just leave them here. Let's take them to their majesties. That way they'll be safe."
The team agreed but Sapphire was unsure. "Are you sure we should take them back with us? What if the mother comes back looking for her eggs?"
Rainbow scoffed. "I'm sure she won't be upset with us." Sapphire was still not sure if they should take the eggs, but she complied. Fluttershy and Krysta carefully picked up the eggs and the team flew to New Canterlot.
Soon, the eggs were brought to the nursery in the palace. "Do you have any idea whose eggs these are?" Grand Ruler asked.
"No, but based on the size they must be... dinosaur eggs." Sapphire replied.
"DINOSAUR EGGS!" Everyone exclaimed.
"Yes. Dinosaurs were also known to lay eggs." Fluttershy went over to the eggs, "But what dinosaur layed these eggs?"
"We'll have to wait until they hatch, I guess." Lightning replied. "For now, let's get back on patrol." The team nodded and they headed off to start their patrols.
Back at the cottage, the mother dinosaur returned to her nesting site. When she saw her eggs missing she was both shocked and worried. She looked around the area, but she didn't see any sign of her eggs. She roared frantically and in anger. The animals were terrified of the dinosaur's newfound rage. The dinosaur saw New Ponyville in the distance.
She needed to find her eggs and nothing and no one was going to stand in her way.
At the Alpha Gang headquarters, the Alpha Scanner's picked up something. "Mark, Henry, Dr Z, there's another dinosaur!" Ursula reported.
"Well then go and get it. AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL TO GET THAT DINOSAUR CARD!' Dr. Z screamed.
Yes, sir!" The minions responded and they raced off.
Meanwhile, Sapphire was finished her rounds and was heading back to her castle when she saw a white bunny dashing towards her in a panic. She recognized the bunny, "Angel Bunny? What's wrong?" The bunny was waving it's arms and jumping up and down frantically. Just then, her Dino Bracer began beeping. "A Dinosaur!"
Suddenly the ground began shaking and Sapphire saw why. It was indeed a dinosaur. It was 33 feet in length and 8.2 feet in height.
"Woah, A Maiasurua!" The dinosaur was roared and bashing into buildings and smashing the ground. Lightning and the others came onto the scene. "Sapphire, what is that thing?"
"It's a Maiasaura."
"And it really doesn't look happy." Artie claimed. The dinosaur was still looking side-to-side and roaring in anger. "it looks like it's looking for something."
"But what could it be looking for?" Starla asked.
"No time, we've gotta stop that thing!" Lightning stated. He and the team transformed.
"STARFLEET MAGIC!"
"HARMONY HOUR, FRIENDSHIP POWER!"
"DRAGON POWER!"
Maiasaurua roared and charged the team, whom scattered. Lightning punched the dinosaur in the back while his team attacked the dinosaur.
"STARLIGHT ARROW!"
"LEAF SWARM!"
"COLOR KICK!"
"DRILL QUILL!"
"BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS!"
The attacks made their mark but they seemed to make the Maiasaura even angrier. She roared and threw Lightning off of her back. Roaring with complete rage now, she glowed green and used her front leg to throw dirt into the team's face's.
"Ah! I can't see!" Pinkie cried.
"Me either!" Starla added.
"GUYS HEADS UP!' Sapphire cried. The team looked through their stinging eyes and saw the Maiasura diving towards them.
BOOM!
She smashed the team into the ground. "Guys!" Sapphire cried. The dinosaur roared and walked off, continuing to bash buildings. The team was alive but badly hurt by the dinosaur. The girl's manes were tangled and their suits were dented. "Woah, that was Diving Press!" Knowing her friends couldn't take another attacks like that, she knew she had to figure out what was making Maiasura so angry and she had to find out now!
"Okay, so Fluttershy found the dinosaur eggs and now we have an angered dinosaur... Wait" she gasped when she put the pieces together. "Guys, I'll be back. Keep her busy!" she said as she teleported away. "Easier for her to say." Rainbow groaned.
Sapphire poofed into the nursery and grabbed the two eggs. "Sapphire what are you doing?! You have a dinosaur to stop!" Grand Ruler said, baffled. "I know why Maiasaura is attacking."
"You do?" their majesties asked in unison. "Yes, the eggs that Fluttershy found... are her eggs! "
"HER EGGS!"
"Yes, only a mother would be so aggressive when it came to defending her young. Like you two with Castor and Leilani." Sapphire made her way to the doorway. "I have to get these eggs to her before she kills someone."
Trusting her and knowing it would be the only way to stop the raging mother, their majesties let her go ahead. "Be careful." Celestia warned.
Sapphire nodded and burst out of the window. "I hope I'm not too late."
Lightning and the team were struggling to keep Maiasaura from destroying New Ponyville. "She just won't stop!" Buddy exclaimed. "There's gotta be something she's after to make her this aggressive. But what?"
"Maiasaura!" a voice called.
The team and Maiasaura looked and saw Sapphire holding the two eggs.
"Are these what you want?" she asked, holding the eggs in the air.
Seeing her eggs, Maiasaura roared and charged towards Sapphire. "Sapphire, get out of the way!" Applejack cried. Maiasaura was getting closer! Sapphire held out the eggs towards her.
"Oh, I can't look!" Fluttershy whimpered, covering her eyes. At the last second, Maiasaura stopped and rubbed the eggs affectionately.
"What?" Lightning whispered. Sapphire placed the eggs on the ground and carefully backed away from the dinosaur mother. "There, back together again." she said. Maiasaura looked at her and nuzzled her as if saying 'Thank you.'
Sapphire smiled at the mother dinosaur. "You're welcome." she walked away, giving the mother and her young some space. Lightning and the others came to her. "Okay, what's going on here?" Rainbow asked, completely confused.
"Those eggs Fluttershy found, were Maiasaura eggs."
"Wait, you mean-?" Buddy started.
"Maiasaura was angry because she didn't know where her eggs were, making her frantic to find them. She was willing to fight anything and everything to get her eggs back. Once I figured that out I had to get her eggs to her." Hearing that made the team fell guilty especially Fluttershy. She unknowing took a egg from it's mother and New Ponyville paid the price. "Hey now, you didn't know Fluttershy." Sapphire reassured.
"But it's my fault she was angry in the first place." she sobbed.
Rhymey comforted his girlfriend as the rest looked on with pity. Suddenly Terry appeared on the scene and roared at Maiasura. "Terry!" Sapphire cried.
Maiasaura got up quickly and roared at the T'rex. "We'll take that dinosaur and that egg thank you very much." Ursula claimed and she and the other appeared.
"No way, old lady." Sapphire stated.
"How dare you call mean old lady!" Ursula cried as Zander and Ed held her back.
Terry pushed Maiasaura away from the eggs and tried to eat them, but the mother wasn't going to let that happen. Roaring in anger, she rammed Terry away, sending him crashing to the ground. "Come Blitz, we have to help Maiasaura." She turned Blitz into a card.
STARFLEET SLASH, STYRACOSAURUS, CHARGE!"
Blitz changed into his battle mode and ran onto the scene. Terry lunged Maiasaura again but Blitz knocked him away. Maiasaura roared again and glowed green. Kicking dirt into Terry's face, distracting him, she leaped high into the air and dove onto Terry's neck, making him roar in pain. "Wow, that thing just hit Terry with a diving press!" Ed said.
"Alright then, Terry, Neck Crusher!"
Ursula slashed the card and Terry charged Maiasura again. Placing his head underneath her, he lifted her into the air and smacked her with his tail. "Maiasaura!" Sapphire cried. She crashed on the ground and roared in pain. Terry moved closer to her, ready to finish her off, but once again Blitz rammed him away and stood guard over her.
Suddenly, a little roar was heard. "What was that?" Lightning asked.
The little roars were heard again and again. Maiasaura roared and looked at her nest. Fluttershy gasped. "Look!"
Looking at the nest, the team saw two baby Maiasauras.
"The eggs hatch! How adorable!" Rarity cooed.
"Terry, forget the Maiasaura, attack the little ones!" Ursula ordered. Terry roared and rushed towards them. "No, he's gonna hurt them!" Pinkie cried.
"Not on my watch!" Sapphire took out a move card. "LIGHTNING SPEAR!"
Blitz roared, flowing with lighting. He rushed to Terry and knocked him into the air. Blitz leaped high and pierced Terry with his horn creating a spear made of lightning. "Awesome!" Rainbow cried.
Blitz landed on the ground, while Terry crashed and twitched from the attack.

He glowed red and turned back into a card. Blitz roared in victory. The Alpha Gang growled. "We'll get you next time!" Ursula stated. The three heard footsteps behind them and were casted in a large shadow. Turning around they saw the angry mother Maiasaurua. It roared at them, they screamed and ran away.
"You may have beaten us this time pipsqueak but we'll be back!" Ursula added.
Once they were gone, Sapphire returned Blitz to his card and his chibi form. The baby Maiasuras walked over to their mother whom layed down next to them. The mother licked the babies as the team watched their happy reunion. Suddenly, Sapphire glowed green and she could hear a voice. "Please send us back. Back to where we came from."
"Sapphire what is it?" Artie asked.
"The Maiasaura, it's talking to me through the stone."
"It is?!" Everyone exclaimed.
"We want to go back home... please?" Sapphire smiled. "I can do that, Maiasaura."
She pressed the button and the Maiasaura and the babies glowed green and were turned back into cards. Sapphire went over to picked up the cards, smiling happily now. A mother and her children happily reunited.
They reported to the palace and told their majesties what happened. "You saw them hatch!" Celestia exclaimed. "Oh come on!"
"Don't worry, you majesty, we still have one little baby dinosaur." Sapphire said, referring to chibi Blitz.
"Yes, I suppose."
"So you hear the dinosaurs voice through the stone?" Grand Ruler cut in. Sapphire nodded. "She said she wanted to go back home."
"Interesting."
"Looks like there's more to these stones than we thought." Lightning said.
"But how were they able to talk to Sapphire?" Rainbow asked.
"Well, Professor Brain did they they were made from the spirits of all the dinosaurs, so maybe that includes their thoughts too." Artie suggested.
"Perhaps. We'll have to look more into this." Celestia said.
"Yeah. But for now, we have another dinosaur saved." Pinkie said. "You mean three dinosaurs?" Sapphire corrected.
"Whatever." The gang all shared a laugh as Sapphire rolled her eyes. She looked at the card in her hand. "Don't worry you three, you're safe now. Welcome to Starfleet." she hugged the card close to her chest with a loving smile on her face.
Starfleet Magic: Season 2
Episode 4: Sapphire’s Birthday
One night, Lightning came to the royal palace to deliver a Starfleet report, and to get a special present she had kept there by permission of their majesties. When Goldwin asked why, and he explained he was on his way to Fluttershy’s birthday party and the present was from her and their majesties for Fluttershy, “What’s a… birthday?” Sapphire asked.
“It’s to celebrate the day you were born on. Everyone has a birthday.” and then he left to head for the party, leaving Sapphire alone. Everyone had a birthday except her! After all, she wasn’t born, she was created in a lab by humans. "I wonder if that counts."
She went to Fluttershy's party which was held in the New Canterlot Ballroom. All her friends were present.
Fluttershy’s birthday party was fabulous. There was cake, other treats, songs, dances, and games for everyone. Pinkie Pie couldn’t stop going wild and crazy with joy due to her love for parties. Fluttershy received a lot of presents; among them was a special book from Twilight, a special plaque their majesties for her bravery in past battles. Rainbow gave a sonic rainboom to go along with Dyno and Myte’s fireworks. Rhymey even wrote his mare-friend a poem which turned into a song, and Fluttershy almost burst into tears of happiness after hearing it. “Thank you all so much.” she cried “This is the best birthday I’ve ever had.”
That's when she spotted Sapphire. "Oh hi, Sapphire."
"Hey." she replied with a little sadness.
"Hey... I just thought of something. Sapphire, when's your birthday?" Buddy asked.
"Yeah, now that you mention it, you never told us your birthday." Artie added. Sapphire sighed and her face turned really sad. "That's because... I don't have a birthday."
Everybody gasped in shock.
"DON'T HAVE A BIRTHDAY?!" Pinkie screamed.
"But everyone has a birthday." Rarity added. Sapphire turned around. "I don't think being made in a lab counts. I guess I’ll never have a birthday, a birthday party or a birthday cake. I won’t be able to celebrate with my friends. I’ll never truly have a day I can call my own." she began walking towards the door. "Anyway, I just wanted to see what you were up to. Bye guys." she closed the door behind her.
Her friends felt horrible for her. Sapphire never had a day to call her own or to celebrate herself. "Poor sugarcube." Applejack said.
"We've gotta do something." Rainbow added.
"Yeah, she's our friend and the darling deserves a day of her own. Especially after what she'd done for us." Rarity claimed. The others agreed.
"Spike do you have Twilight's calendar?" Lightning questioned. Spike saluted and zipped off and came back with Twilight's calendar. He flipped through it and found what he was looking for. "There, tomorrow of last year is when we first met Sapphire. That should be her birthday."
"Right." the friends stated. Now all they had to do was plan her birthday. "So what's the plan?" a voice came. Everybody turned and saw their majesties walking in. They all bowed to them. "You two want to help?" Lightning asked.
"Indeed. Sapphire Shimmer deserves a day for herself and we want to help." Luna explained.
"Everybody creature pony or human should have a day to themselves and Sapphire is the Princess of Harmony after all. She's spread friendship and peace throughout our universe and it's our turn to give her the same thing in return." Grand Ruler added. The team nodded.
"Yeah! Party!" Pinkie cheered as she threw confetti all over. "Alright, we'll start preparations in the morning." Lightning said. "Artie, Rarity, Starla, you're in charge of decorations. Dyno, Myte, you're in charge of fireworks. Buddy, Applejack and Pinkie; you're in charge of food and catering. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash will keep Sapphire busy and happy while we prepare the party. And I'll work on the entertainment with their majesties. Okay?"
"Yes sir." the team replied.
That night, Sapphire climbed into bed, feeling down about not having a birthday like the rest of her friends. "Guess I'll have know what is it to have a birthday." She sighed sadly and fell asleep.
The sun rose the next morning. The sunlight creeped into Sapphire's bedroom. She yawned and woke up to something she never expected... magenta eyes. "Wah!" she screamed. Rubbing her eyes, she heard a soft voice. "Ooh, sorry if we woke you." She recognized the figure and the voice. "Rainbow Dash? Fluttershy? What are you two doing here?"
"We're here to give you a girl's day out!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"A girl's day out?"
"Yes." Fluttershy said. "It's a day where girls just... hang out and have fun."
Sapphire thought about that. "Well... I guess I could try this 'Girl's Day out'." Rainbow and Fluttershy smiled. Sapphire put on her clothes and the three girls headed out. Rainbow and Fluttershy saw Lightning over head and gave a thumbs up. Lightning nodded and flew off. He pressed his energizer. "Alright, Fluttershy and Rainbow have Sapphire. Go!"
"You heard him y'all." Applejack addressed the rest of the gang. "Let's get this party planned."
"Hey, what about me?" Mykan asked. The gang contacted him and told him about giving Sapphire a birthday and he was all for it. "You ca take care off her chibi dinosaurs." Starla said with a smirk. Blitz came to his side, yawned and then... chomped on his leg. "Ow! Blitz!" he fell to the floor and tried to get the munching dino off his leg. The gang and even their majesties giggled at the scene... until Blitz laid his eyes on Grand Ruler. "Oh no!"
Blitz released Mykan and tried to chomp on hid horns. Grand Ruler ran away with the chibi dino on his tail. "Blitz, no! Not the horn! I order you to stop!" but try as he might the chibi dino didn't listen. Celestia and Luna burst into laughter watching him getting chased by little dinosaur.
The gang stopped laughing and got to work on the birthday preparations while Celesta and Luna went to work on the entertainment while getting Blitz away from Grand Ruler. "I hope the others aren't like that." Mykan groaned, not wanting to get munched on by the other chibi dinosaurs.
Meanwhile, Rainbow and Fluttershy were relaxing at New Ponyville Spa. Fluttershy and Sapphire were getting massages while Rainbow watched from the side, claiming she was 'too cool' for spa treatments. You can bet the spa ponies were surprised when Princess Sapphire came in. They were more than happy to serve her to their best treatments. Sapphire sighed. "This is... relaxing."
"I know, Sapphire. Everyone needs a break every now and then." Fluttershy claimed. Sapphire agreed and continued to enjoy her spa treatments.
She and Fluttershy had a relaxing mud bath, followed by a hand and foot massage, which Sapphire found very relaxing. She accidentally fell asleep while getting it, provoking giggles from Fluttershy. After the spa massage, the girls decided to leave and walk around Ponyville. "So Sapphire, what should we do next on our Girls Day Out?" Rainbow asked.
"Ummm... I don't know, whatever you want to do, I guess."
"How about some shopping? You know, just to look around." Fluttershy suggested.
"Alright." The girls headed to some of the stores in New Ponyville.
Meanwhile, the preparations for Sapphire's party were going off without a hitch, the catering and decorations were looking great. Lightning came to check on them. "Looking great, everyone. We should be done by sundown." Pinkie popped up beside him. "And then we can PARTY! WHOO-HOOO!"
The gang rolled their eyes. Typical Pinkie Pie.
"HELP!" Mykan burst into the room bring chased by Blitz, whom wanted to continue munching on his legs. The other chibi dinosaurs tried to stop the little Styracosaurus, but it was in vain. They ran around the room, miraculously missing the gang and the decorations and caterings. The gang couldn't help but laugh at the scene. "YOU ARE NO HELP AT ALL!" Mykan bellowed as Blitz tackled him to the ground and munched on his arm. "AHH! Stop!"
The sun was beginning to set on New Ponyville.
Fluttershy, Rainbow and Sapphire came out of a clothing shop in New Ponyville. Sapphire just bought some bracelets and earings, since nothing else caught her eye. Fluttershy and Rainbow saw the sun setting and Lightning in the air, he gave them a wink; time to bring the special guest.
"Hey Sapphire, wanna go to New Canterlot?" Rainbow asked.
"Umm... sure. I would like to see Blue and the raptors again." The girls laughed. "You'll be getting a bigger surprise when you get there."
The three girls flew to New Canterlot and went to the throne room in the royal palace. "Why are we going to the ball room?" Sapphire asked.
"Ooooh, just a little something special for you." Rainbow teased. Now Sapphire was curious. "What are they talking about?" Entering the ballroom, she found the entire room pitch black for some reason. "Why is it so dark?" she asked aloud, receiving no response.
"Rainbow? Fluttershy?"
Suddenly, the whole room lit up, and all the ponies, even the royal ones, and Abra, Cadence and Shining Armor leapt out yelling, “SURPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAPPHIRE!"
The whole throne room was lovely decorated. Several tables with plenty of refreshments were set up and one by one all his friends came up to offer him a personal happy birthday with hand-shakes or hugs. Celestia even gave her a small peck on the cheek.
Sapphire never felt so happy before, “But I don’t think today is my birthday. I don’t remember when it is, but I know it’s not today.”
“Sapphire, you’re our friend.” said Lightning “The day we met you was very special, so we thought, we’d celebrate today, and do this every year just for you?” Sapphire felt touched and felt really lucky to have such loving friends.
“Well, one thing’s for sure.” she said “I’ll remember this day forever. Today is my first birthday.” Everyone chuckled, and then it was time to party!
Just like at Fluttershy’s party, there were games, songs, dances. Abra even put on a magic show for all of them. Sapphire even enjoyed the gifts some of the others brought him or had for him…
Rarity found some time to make her lovely red cape to add to her royal attire. It really looked good on her and went nice with her skin color.
Rhymey recited his poem to Sapphire, and Fluttershy’s animal friends did their performance for her. Mykan gave her a necklace with her name on it. "Aww, Mykan." she blushed and kissed her boyfriend on the cheek, making him blush in repsonse
Lightning's gift to Sapphire was a special magical book. It had every animal in United Equestria and Earth, even prehistoric ones. So she could refer to it instead of relying on only her memory.
Then, their majesties came in with a somewhat large box and a piece of paper. "What's this?" Sapphire opened the box and found a light blue egg with dark blue stars on it. She took it out of the box. "An egg?"
"It's not just any egg." Celestia said. Just then, the egg began to crack and jiggle around. "It hatching!" Mykan cried.
The egg cracks all over, and the glow becomes brighter. Just then the egg breaks, and the glow disappear. The baby dragon has finally been born. The little dragon is a beautiful white color scales with light ice blue spikes, and stomach. She has white wings with light blue on the inside, and gold marking of a snowdrop on it's forehead. The newborn dragon is pure and white as snow.
Everyone in the room are in awed to see the new baby dragon has hatched. They can tell that the baby is really lovely, and is white as the winter snow. They can see the new baby dragon looking around it's surrounding and is not sure what's going on around.
"Aww!" The girls squealed happily.
"She's so cute!" Pinkie happily exclaimed
"And so white," Rarity added.
Lightning laughed, "Well Sapphire, looks like you're a mother now."
"I-I guess I am." When she looks down at the baby dragon, she smiles at it, and very happy to have the little white beauty. The baby dragon then smiles as it makes baby noises, and try to reach for Sapphire's face.
Fluttershy comes up to Sapphire and the baby dragon as she says with a smile, "The little dragon looks so beautiful, and so sweet."
"I agree," Sapphire said.
Then Rainbow asked, "So is it a boy or a girl?"
Their majesties and and Fluttershy look at the baby, and can see that the baby is smiling at them and giggling. After close examination, their majesties and Fluttershy knows what gender the baby is.
"Congratulations Sapphire, you have a healthy baby girl dragon," Celestia happily announced. Sapphire and the others were happy to have another dragon with them. "So what are you going to name her?" Rarity asked.
"I'll call her Snowdrop." The baby dragon babbled and giggled at the mention of her new name. "I think she likes it." Pinkie giggled, leaning close to the baby. Just then the baby sneeze, and blowed out a cold wind at Pinkie's face. The cold air causeed her face to freeze a bit, but it breaks off of Pinkie's face in a matter of seconds.
Pinkies shivered a bit, and says, "Burr! That's a cold breath."
Lightning became confused, "I've never seen a dragon breath ice before."
"That's because Snowdrop is an Snow Dragon." Grand Ruler claimed
"A what?!" Everybody asked in surprise.
"A Snow dragon. Very little about them, but they are very rare. They breathe blue fire, and breathe cold air to freeze any danger," he explained.
"Wow, sounds to be like you got a rare dragon living with you," Buddy said, looking at Sapphire.
"I guess, but what I'm going to feed her?"
"When I was about Snowdrop's age, Twilight first feed my crushed gems along with my egg shell mixed into it," Spike answers.
I'll go and bring a few gems and a grinding bowl from the kitchen, and a bottle with some milk." Spike ran out of the room to give the baby she needs. After getting the stuff they need, he made the formula for the little baby. "It's ready."
Sapphire grabbed a spoon, and scooped a little bit of the powdered egg shell and gem. "Alright sweetie, it's time for your first breakfast," She slowly brought the spoon to little Snowdrop. The baby dragon open her mouth, and Sapphire puts it to her mouth. The baby loved it.
"That's good Snowdrop, make sure you eat all your food," she replied with a smile.She continued to slowly give her new baby dragon her food. After feeding her powdered eggshell and gem, she gives the baby her bottle.Sapphire held the baby as the little dragon drank from her bottle. Sapphire is very happy. Rarity sat next to her, "I have to say her scales are so white, and blue as icicles. Yet, she has a snowdrop on the middle of her forehead."
"I agree, but I think it's a unique mark for her." Sapphire replied. Mykan came over to the girls. "Now we get to have a Snow Dragon here in New Ponyville."
"I have to agree, but would she be okay when winter comes?" Sapphire asks with concern.
"The Snow Dragons' breath remains cold while their blue fire is hot, so they are able to live during spring and summer," Celestia explained.
"That's good, we wouldn't want our new buddy to get sick or feel unhealthy," Spike said.
Spike looked at the baby dragon, and happily said, "Hey Snowdrop. I'm your're new big dragon brother, Spike. Someday, I'm going to teach you how to use your claws to dig, and how to use your fire breath."
The baby stared at Spike for a bit with a curious look. She then giggled and started to touch Spike on the face.Sapphire passed little Snowdrop to Spike, and Spike is able to hold her. Spike sat down and started playing with the little dragon.
Applejack happily said, "Well look at that, Spike and little Snowdrop are friends already."
"I agree, this calls for a party!" Pinkie cheered, throwing the confetti and streamers around the room, making the baby giggle.
"Looks like she wants a part too," Spike added.The others laughed.
“So what are the papers for?” Lightning asked, referring to the papers in his masters’ hand.
“Well, we know Sapphire never truly had a family to call her own so we decided to give her one." Grand Ruler said. The girls had a feeling about what was about to happen, especially Pinkie Pie. "You don't mean?" Pinkie squeaked. Their majesties stared at Sapphire, "Sapphire, if it's okay with you, we would like to adopt you as our daughter." Celestia offered. Everybody in the room gasped in the utmost shock. Rarity dramatically fainted on the ground. The entire room fell silent.
Sapphire was speechless. She never expected an adoption in well... ever. And now she's was given a chance to have a real family. She looked at the royal couple with a biggest smile she ever had, almost Pinkie-like. "... YES!" she leaped into their majesties's arms, crying in joy. "I will let you adopt me!"
The entire room went up in cheers and a roar of applause. Their majesties signed the adoption papers, officially making Sapphire their daughter. The girls were ever so happy for her. "Congratulations darling." Rarity said.
"Yeah. Now you have two awesome parents and a family too." Rainbow added. Mykan came over and hugged her. "Congrats." Sapphire smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." Now Sapphire has a true family of her own.
Starfleet Magic: Season 2
Episode 5: Dino Detectives
Lightning, Starla, Rainbow and Applejack were relaxing at the Cake's Cafe, having some breakfast. It's been two weeks since Sapphire found and saved the Maiasaura and her babies and discovering that she could hear the dinosaurs voices through the stones. Also, she received her new baby’s Snow Dragon, Snowdrop.
The girls helped Sapphire with the baby. They got some baby supplies, and other things the baby might need. They spent all that afternoon helping get everything that is needed to make little Snowdrop feel at home. While the girls took care of the supplies, Spphire had been staying close to her baby as she read more about dragons. Sapphire wanted to be sure her baby is healthy and safe, so she wanted to learn everything she can about dragon. Even though it's not much. Lightning decides to send a letter to the Dragon Lord to see what he says about Snowdrop and the snow dragon.
Hours later that night, evening had come, and the girls and Spike are in Sapphire’s castle and had some dinner, while little Snowdrop had warm milk making her a bit sleepy.
"I like to thank you all for helping me make my new bay dragon comfortable," Sapphire thanked.
"No problem, Sapphire, we never leave our friend hanging, and our new friend, of course," Rainbow said.
"I agree. Any family of your is practically family us," Applejack replied.
"I do hope I get to make her some new clothes when she gets older, but I do wonder what colors to go with the gold Snowdrop on her forehead," Rarity said with glee. Sapphire rolled her eyes and Rarity’s fashion behavior.
Including that, she was adopted by their majesties making her their daughter and you can bet once that reached the public they were ever so happy and surprised by the adoption.
Now it was morning with the sun shining brightly and they were just enjoying their short break from dinosaurs and the Alpha Gang. Suddenly, Blitz and Blossom burst into the cafe, almost knocking over Mr. Cake, if Pinkie haven't come along and caught him. "Thanks Pinkie."
Blitz and Blossom were crying out frantically and pulling on Lightning's clothes. "Blitz? Blossom? What's wrong?" The two were roaring frantically and continuing to pull on his cape. "I think they want us to follow them." Starla said. "Well then, come on." Artie said. The gang followed Blitz and Blossom outside. The chibi dinos lead them to an alleyway. "An Alleyway? Why would they lead us here?" Rainbow asked.
"Let's find out." Lightning followed Blitz and Blossom into the alley, followed by the others. "Woah, check out these footprints!" Applejack claimed. Starla looked down and saw large footprints they had three toes. "Wonder what made them." she said.
"Guys! Over here!" Lightning called. The other came over and saw something that horrified them.
Sapphire was laying on the floor unconscious, with multiple scratches and bruises. Her hair was a complete mess. Storm, Blaze, Deino, Dana and Dano in their chibi form were near her roaring in concern. They saw Lightning, Starla, Rainbow and Applejack. When they saw what happened to Sapphire they were shocked. "What the heck? What happened to Sapphire?!" Rainbow exclaimed.
Lightning picked up Sapphire. "Sapphire, please say something."
Sapphire only groaned in response. "We've gotta get her to the hospital, now!" Lightning snapped.
"Right." the others said. The four friends ran to the hospital with the chibi dinosaurs in tow. Unknown, they were being watched by a pair of eyes in the distance.
After arriving at New Ponyville Hospital, Sapphire was examined and placed in a hospital bed with an IV to keep her hydrated and a heart monitor. Her arm and leg with in casts and elevated. Lightning and the others watched with anxiety as her heart monitor beeped normally and her chest moving up and down. "Dr. Penny, will she be okay?" Lightning asked with worry.
"She's stable, but she'll be alright." she replied. The friends calmed down a little. "So what's the diagnosis?" Applejack asked.
"Well..." Penny looked through Sapphire's papers. "She has a few cracked ribs, a broken right arm and left leg and multiple deep lacerations on her face and body."
"Ouch." Rainbow winced.
"We'll keep her here for a few days."
"Do you any idea what may have happened to her?" Starla asked. Penny sighed and shook her head. "We won't know until she wakes up, but all I can say is that something pretty strong must have attacked her to give her these injuries. Now I have other patients to attend to." Penny walked off while the friends stared at Sapphire.
Just then...
BOOM!
The doors to the hospital burst open and Mykan rushed over to the gang, panting. "I... got your... message... how... is she?"
"She'll be okay, but she'll have to stay here for a few days." Starla replied.
Catching his breath, Mykan stood up again. "Any idea on what or who did this?"
"I'm afraid not." Lightning replied.
"Well, Sapphire couldn't have got all those injuries by herself. Someone must have done this to her." Rainbow pointed out, determined to get whomever did this to her friend. "And I'm gonna find out who did it."
"Count me in, Rainbow." Mykan added.
"Alright, we'll all join in the search. Now let's go back to the crime scene." Lightning ordered. The others nodded and headed back to the alleyway.
"All we found when we got here was this footprint." Starla said. Mykan looked at the footprint. "It looks like a raptor footprint."
"Yes, but it's not Blue, Indigo or the Deinoychus footprints." Lightning identified, getting weird looks from his friends. "What? I studied since the dinosaurs appeared." Mykan looked at the footprint as well. "He's right. These footprints are larger than Blue and the Deinoychus but their smaller than Indigo's."
"So you're saying a dinosaur attacked Sapphire?" Starla asked.
"It's a possibility."
"Hey guys, over here!" Lightning called. The friends came over to the spot where Sapphire layed. "Look."
They looked at the spot where Lightning was pointing to and discovered, "It that pony fur and a feather?" Rainbow asked.
The fur was and feather were both blue. "So there was a pony here too? This doesn't make any sense." Starla said.
"We need more clues." Mykan added. That's when a voice called out to them, "Commander Lightning." The friends looked and saw Spitfire, leader of the Wonderbolts. "Hey Spitfire, what are you doing here?" Rainbow asked.
"I heard what happened to Sapphire and I think I can help." The team's interested peeked." What is it?" Lightning asked.
"Last night I was doing a nightly patrol..."
Flashback
Spitfire was flying over New Ponyville when she saw Sapphire running down the street.
"I saw Sapphire running away from something. What or whoever it was had about three friends with it. They chased her into the alleyway. After that I heard punches, kicks and Sapphire crying out in pain for them to stop."
Spitfire was about to swoop down and save Sapphire when another speedy figure came along and slashed the lead figure. "I didn't get a goo look at the speedy thing, but it was similar in structure to Sapphire's raptors but it was a tad larger. Then I heard the lead figure scream in pain as the larger figure actually grab it and throw it over to the spot where Sapphire was laying unconscious. The larger figure slashed the pony figure in the face and on the wing." The two comrades fled the scene while the third one staggered away.
The creature looked at Sapphire for a moment and walked away into the night.
End of Flashback
"And that's all I saw." Spitfire concluded. The gang were in awe. "Woah, so three figures attacked Sapphire and a creature came in a fought off the attackers." Mykan summarized.
"That would explain the fur and feather. Must have came off from the slash." Starla said. "I can analyze this fur to find the culprit."
"But what creature also looks similar to Blue and the raptors other than Deinoychus and Indigo?" Lightning questioned.
"Maybe one of the books in the library has something." Mykan suggested. "I'll go and look." He pressed his teleporter and was warped to New Canterlot. "Thanks for you help, Spirtfire." Lightning praised.
"No problem, Commander." Spitfire flew off to Wonderbolts HQ. Lightning took a good look at the scene. "Who would attack Sapphire in the middle of the night?" That would be the last piece of the puzzle. Motive. There were some ponies whom didn't like Starfleet but Lightning severely doubted that anyone would be stupid enough to attack Sapphire whose a Princess with the repercussion of going to prison. But there was one pony who would take that risk; an obnoxious pony whom causes him and his friends everyday annoyance. "Ace Ray?" Lightning thought about this. "He does have a lot of friends who share his feelings, but he wouldn't attack Sapphire... would he? Guess I'll have to see when Starla comes back with the results."
Lightning went back home where Kyrsta was waiting for him. "Lightning, how's Sapphire?"
"She'll be alright, Krysta."
Krysta growled in anger, "When I find who ever did this I'm gonna-"
"Easy, Krysta. Getting all worked up is not going to help Sapphire. Me Starla and Mykan are on it and we have a good lead."
"You do?" Lightning explained to Krysta the clues they found at the scene and Spitfire's eyewitness account. "Woah, so a raptor other than the ones Sapphire has now, saved her from three pony attackers?"
"That's correct Kyrsta, Starla is analyzing the fur and feather while Mykan is looking for the owner of the footprint." Just then Starla came inside and Mykan poofed in. "We got it!" they said in unison.
"The fur and feather belong to Ace Ray."
"The footprint belongs to a Utahraptor!"
"Hold the phone." Krysta cut in. "You mean to tell me that Sapphire was attacked by Ace Ray and his followers when a Utahraptor came in a beat Ace Ray and then it disappeared?"
"That has to be what happened." Mykan agreed.
Knock Knock Knock
"Who could that be?" Lightning asked. He opened to the door and to everyone's surprise... Sapphire was at the door. "H-Hey." she was walking with one crutch with her leg in a cast and her arm in a sling. She has some stitches on her face and a black eye. "Sapphire!"
Starla and Mykan helped her inside, "What are you doing here?" Mykan inquired. "Penny said you would be in the hospital for a few days."
"My injuries healed a little, so Penny agreed to discharge me early, as long as I take it easy and stay out of fights for the next few weeks; for my leg and arm to heal."
"Well, being that you're here. Do you remember anything that happened to you?" Starla asked.
Sapphire nodded and began to tell the side of the story...
Sapphire was out late at night going out for a calming walk. Just then a branch snapped behind her. Turning around, she was met with Ace Ray and two of his followers. They were burly and and well-built.
"Alright, Princess, you're gonna pay for making a fool out of me this morning." Ace claimed. Sapphire remembered earlier that morning, Sapphire told off Ace Ray and his followers once again. Ace Ray had enough of being told off by Sapphire so he decided to do something about it.
Sapphire, not wanting to get in a fight, ran away from the three stallions, but they chased after her until finally concerning her in an alleyway. Ace Ray pounced on her and punched her while his friends kicked her all over her body. They were about to deliver the final blow when A Utahraptor leaped onto the scene. It screeched at the three stallions and pounced on Ace Ray, knocking him off of Sapphire and crashing into a wall. The dinosaur slashed his face and wing. His followers, not wanting to be the next victim of the raptor's assault dashed away from the scene.
The Utahraptor then threw Ace Ray to the mouth of the alleyway. Ace Ray staggered to his feet and limped away from the dinosaur. The last thing Sapphire saw was the raptor looking at her and then running away into the night. And then she lost consciousness.
"And that's when I woke up in the hospital." When Sapphire finished her story, the friends were livid. "That pony has gone too far this time." Krysta claimed and the others agreed.
"Now we can make a case against him and arrest him." Lightning said. "Starla."
"Yes, honey." Starla exited the house and went searching for Ace Ray.
Then, a growl was heard throughout the room. The three friends looked at Sapphire who had a hand on her stomach. "I'll go and make you something to eat." Lightning said. He went into the kitchen to make Sapphire something to eat. Mykan sat down beside his girlfriend. "How are you feeling?"
"Just really sore, right now and a little... shaken." Mykan sadly smiled at her and gave her a gentle hug. "Don't worry, we won't let anything like this happen to you again. You can stay at my house until you've fully recovered."
"Thanks Mykan." Lightning returned with a bowl of soup in his hands. "Here Sapphire, this should be light on your stomach."
Mykan placed a thick blanket on Sapphire's lap and Lightning placed the bowl on the blanket. Sapphire took the spoon in her left hand and shakily began to feed. Just then, their majesties poofed into the room, completely surprising Lightning, Mykan and Krysta. They all bowed to them. "Master?! Queen Celestia?!"
"What are you doing here?" Mykan asked.
"We heard about Sapphire's attack and wanted to check on her." Celestia replied.
"I'm alright, your majesties." Sapphire replied with a small smile.
"Don't worry about Ace Ray, we'll make sure he pays for his attack and his followers." Grand Ruler added. The gang were happy to hear that. Then Blitz and the other chibi dinosaurs ran into the room. They were crying frantically like they did before. "Blitz, what is it?"
That's when they saw for themselves; The Utahraptor was being chased by a Saichania. "The Alpha Gang!" Lightning stated.
"Great, the old lady again." Mykan grumbled.
Ursula growled She appeared just outside the doorway, "You better not be talking to me when you use a word like that you juvenile delinquent!" Ed and Zander came in a grabbed her. "Ursula we have a dinosaur to catch." Zander reminded.
"Oh, right." The three dashed off following Tank
"They're after the Utahraptor!" Starla cried. Sapphire tried to get up, but she was too sore and her friends gently pushed her back down. "Sapphire, you can't go out there." Lightning said.
"But what about the dinosaur?"
'We'll get it before the Alpha Gang does." Lightning promised. Sapphire looked at her dino bracer and dino gadget. "In that case." she used her magic to take off the devices and gave them to Mykan. "You'll have to use my dinosaurs in battle, Mykan."
"Me?" Mykan cried in shock. He never actually summoned dinosaurs into battle. "Yes, you're the only one who knows my dinosaurs as well as I do. I know you can do it." Mykan thought about what she said and decided, "Alright, I'll do it." He took the device and placed them on his wrist and pants. "Let's go!" Lightning snapped. Their majesties followed them outside.
The Utahraptor was knocked to the ground by Tank. "Good job, Tank. Now get it back into it's card." Ed ordered. Tank roared and prepared it hit the dinosaur again until "UNIFORCE!" A golden beam of magic it the Saichania, distracting her. "What?" Ursula cried. The Alpha Gang then saw Mykan and the ponies arrived on the scene. "You brats will stay out the way if you know what good for you." she threatened.
"No way!" Mykan said. "Let's see if I can work this thing." He pressed the button and the dinosaurs turned into cards. Mykan decided to go with Blaze.
"Alright. STARFLEET SLASH, ACROCANTHASAURUS, FLAME UP!"

Blaze landed and charged Tank. The Utahraptor got up but it was took exhausted. It collapsed and turned back into a card.
"Quick, grab that card!" Zander cried. The three minions rushed towards the card, but Starla used her magic to levitate the card away from them. "Not so fast, creeps."
Ursula growled but then heard Tank's roar. Blaze knocked her upside down.
"Now Blaze, finish her, FIRE CANNON!"
Mykan slashed the card and Blaze formed a fireball in his mouth and launched it at Tank, hitting her full force and turning her back into a card. "I got you, Tank!" Ed cried as he swiftly grabbed the card and all four of them ran away. Mykan returned Blaze to a card and turned into his chibi form. "Not so bad for a newbie." Lightning teased.
Mykan sighed in relief. "Yeah, I guess I'm better at this than I thought."
"Well, you're gonna be doing it more often while Sapphire recuperates." Grand Ruler reminded, promoting a groan from Mykan. The friends all laughed at his mood. "I'm not going to like these next few weeks." he grumbled.
He turned the other dinosaurs back into their chibi forms. "Come on, let's go check on Sapphire." Starla suggested. The others nodded and they all returned to Lightning's place where they found Sapphire laying down on the couch.
"Hi guys." she greeted.
"Hi Sapphire, we got the card." Mykan stated. Sapphire smiled and looked at their majesties, "So I guess I'll be on a temporary leave with my injuries huh?" They both nodded and she sighed.
"Don't worry, soon you'll be back on your feet stronger than ever." Lightning reassured.
"Yeah, yeah." Sapphire replied. "But what about Snowdrop?"
"I'm sure Fluttershy would be happy to look after her for you." Starla suggested.
"Okay."
"Come on, let's get you to my house, so you can properly rest up." Mykan offered. He helped Sapphire stand up as Lightning got her crutch. Handing them to her, Krysta warped the two of them to his house and they went upstairs. Lightning took the crutch and placed them near the bed and pulled back the covers for Sapphire. Mykan layed Sapphire down. Lightning placed the blankets over her. "Thanks boys."
"No problem, Sapphire. Now get your rest." Lightning stated. Sapphire nodded and got comfortable and soon fell asleep. Mykan and Lightning quietly left the room, closing the door behind them. Giving their princess the rest she needed.
Starfleet Magic: Season 2
Episode 6: Indomious Introduction
It was an ordinary day in New Canterlot and all the ponies and other creatures were going on about their day. Mykan was checking in on Sapphire. It's been about a week since she was attacked by Ace Ray and was temporarily sidelined due to her injuries. Ace Ray was found guilty of assault and sentenced to two months of hard labor. Ever since then, Mykan has been getting used to summoning her dinosaurs for battle. In the meantime, Mykan waited on her hand and foot; helping her get dress in the morning, feeding her and even bathing her. Sapphire told him many times, "I'm fine, Mykan." or "I can use my magic to help me." but Mykan wouldn't hear it and replied with, "I'm your boyfriend. I have to take care of you."
So Sapphire had no choice but to go along with this. Fluttershy and Rhyemy came over to get Snowdrop. The baby dragon acted fussy and reached towards Sapphire, not wanting to leave her mother. "Awww, Snowdrop, don't worry, you'll be staying with them while I get better. It's just for a few weeks." The dragon whined a little but she seemed to understand what her mother was saying. Fluttershy an Rhymey promised Sapphire they would take good care of Snowdrop and Sapphire knew they would.
Now Mykan was flying over New Ponyville after returning from teaching. He stretched out and took a deep breath of the fresh air and sighed, "Ahh... nothing like a sunny afternoon after work."
Suddenly the warning alarm sounded; there was immediate danger heading for the area. Many of the ponies immediately began to run for homes and buildings before the barriers activated.
He helped some of the citizens into shelter and stayed outside to survey the area and make sure no one was stuck outside; the streets were clean of all the citizens, and suddenly a huge hybrid dinosaur came charging near me. It zipped out of the way, barely escaping getting squashed by the huge creature.
It had red spines on it's back and was a mixture of purple and red, Name: Magnapyritor. The dinosaur was surprisingly fast and he saw he was being chased by Lightning, Krysta, Starla, Applejack, Rarity and Spike; all transformed and wearing their super suits.
“Get him!” shouted Lightning!
“Let’s rope him first." Applejack readied her rope and lassoed the hybrid. “YE-HAW! That’s the catch.” The dinosaur skidded to a stop and turned around facing the team. It screeched at them and formed a large fireball in his mouth. It leaped into the air and dived towards the team. "Watch out!" The team scattered as the hybrid crashed into the ground. "What move was that?!" Rainbow cried.
"Fire Bomb. Sapphire told me about that." Mykan replied. The hybrid roared and charged at the gang. The Space Ponies attacked.
"STAR ARROW!"
"PAINT BOMB!"
"VINE WHIP!"
"DRILL QUILL!"
"BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS!"
The attacks just bounced off of the Magnapyritor. "No way!" Buddy cried.
Mykan thought of something that would help even up the fight. "Alright, let's do this. STARFLEET SLASH, ALLOSAURUS, BLEW IT AWAY!"
Mykan summoned Swift into battle. Swift roared and the Magnapyritor snarled at him. "Let's take him down, Swift."
Swift roared and lunged at the Magnapyritor. The Magnapyritor tried to smack Swift with his tail but Swift grabbed it in his mouth and tossed Magnapyritor across the field. The Magnapyritor crashed and skidded across the ground. "Alright, Swift MAYFLY!" Mykan slashed the card and Swift raced forward at blurring speeds, disappearing and circling Magnapyritor. He was too fast for Magnapyritor to see, then Swift pummeled the hybrid by repeatedly ramming into it from all sides!
The attack ended and the Magnapyritor collapsed to the ground. "Get him!" Lightning cried. The Space Ponies set their weapons to 'Separate' and fired
"GALACTIC PROJECTILE!"
"WHIPLASH STRIKE!"
"SUPER STAFF SPIN!"
"THRASH SLASH!"
"BOOM-BOOM FLARE!"
"UNIFORCE!"
All of the attacks consumed the hybrid and went the dust cleared, there stood a Dimetrodon and Pyrritator. "Another hybrid dinosaur! Come on!" Rainbow exclaimed in annoyance. The Dimetrodon was eleven feet long lizard with a long, tall sail on it's back. The Pyrritator had a simliar structure to the raptors but it had feathers on it's arms.
"Alright then, let's split this hybrid." Lighting sighed. Just as the team got ready to attack Pyrritator screeched and dashed away. "Hey, come back!" Buddy cried. The team chased after Pyrritator but the dinosaur was too quick and it vanished. Lightning grunted in anger. "Miss him."
Starla comforted him. "Well look on the bright side, I don't think he can do much damage to civilians. He's kinda small." Mykan reassured.
"Still, he's dangerous and he shouldn't be roaming."
"Anyway, why there a hybrid dinosaur this time?" Applejack asked. "The last time the dinosaurs were normal." That question stumped everyone. Up until now the dinosaurs they faced were normal and this is the first time they've faced a hybrid dinosaur. "I don't know, but I think I know someone who might." Mykan said. He returned Blaze to his card and back into his chibi form.
The gang followed him to his house, where he led them to Sapphire's guest bedroom. The others have heard about her attack and wanted to see how she was doing ever since then, but their activities and Starfleet duties kept them from doing that. Sapphire spotted them, "Hey everyone."
The friends all filled the room and came around her bedside. "Hey darling, how are you feeling?" Rarity asked.
"I'm alright. Just a little sore." Blaze leaped onto the bed and nuzzled Sapphire. "Hehe. Hi Blaze."
"Sapphire, we want to ask you something." Lightning started. Sapphire looked at him, "Yeah?"
"Today we encountered a hybrid dinosaur." Sapphire's eyes widen in shock. "A hybrid?!" The team nodded. "Do you anything about how hybrid could have appeared?" Sapphire thought about a conclusion for a moment. "My best guess would be Dr. Z experimented with some dinosaurs combining their abilities together."
The team thought about that theory an decided that was a good conclusion. Fluttershy was horrified that Dr. Z would experiment on creatures like that. "So what did you do with Dimetrodon?"
The team froze. "You forgot about the Dimetrodon, didn't you?" Sapphire guessed. In response, Lightning and his team, except for Mykan burst out of the room. A moment of silence passed. "I'll take that as a yes."
Some hours later, the team returned sadly, without Dimetrodon. The slippery lizard walked away when they left the first time. They reported to their majesties at the royal palace. Sapphire was present as well, supported by her crutch. "I don't know how we're gonna find them." Lightning said.
"We must locate them before they cause any more harm." Grand Ruler said.
"I know someone who can help track down the dinosaurs." Sapphire claimed.
"You mean your raptors?" Rainbow inquired. Sapphire shook her head. "My friend is bigger than my raptors, very big and very bad." She then went into a song about her friend.

When she was finished the song, the entire room was silent until Lightning spoke slowly, "... Well, if you say she'll help then... I guess you she call her."
"Yeah!" The gang looked at him with the "Are you crazy?" expressions which he just shrugged giving the "Don't blame me! expression. Soon the gang was outside New Canterlot Village waiting for Sapphire's friend. "So when will you friend be here?" Grand Ruler questioned.
That's when the gang heard a 'thump thump thump' sound so footprints. "And here she comes." Sapphire claimed and she appeared. The hybrid was 20 feet high and 50 feet long. Name: Indomious Rex, hybrid of
The gang were jaw-dropped. Literally their jaws dropped to the floor and their pupils shrank to the size of pebbles! Even Mykan had the same expression. "Ummm... guys? ... Hello?" Sapphire called, but her friends remained frozen in shock and surprise. "Did I do something wrong?" Indomious asked with telepathy.
After getting her friends back to their senses and by that Sapphire blasted the gang with her fire magic, making them scream in pain. After recovering from that, they just gaze in awe at Indominus Rex. "THAT'S YOUR FRIEND!?" Everybody cried in shock. Sapphire smiled proudly, "Yep."
"Hello, sorry for the scare back there."
"She talks?!" Pinkie cried.
"It's thanks to her telepathy ability." Sapphire explained.
"So where did she come from?" Mykan questioned.
"She was one of the hybrids the humans whom made me created."
"They made this, excuse my next word, monster?!" Rarity squeaked. Sapphire nodded, "Those humans were not that smart." Their majesties were the most amazed at this hybrid. "Sapphire called me and said something about a dinosaur roundup?"
"Yes, Indomious, we have two dinosaurs roaming around the kingdom; one of them is a hybrid."
"I see, I'll help round them up." Indominous sniffed the ground and picked up a scent. "Got one."
"Great, where is it?" Lightning asked.
"Behind their majesties."
"WHAT?!" Everybody turned around and saw the Pyrritator inches from their majesties. Their majesties turned around and jumped. The hybrd hissed at them. "Quick, get it!" Pinkie cried. Mykan tackled the hybrid but the raptor tried throwing him off, but his grip remained firm and tight. Lightning blasted the hybrid with his "UNIFORCE!" Mykan leaped off at the last second and the blast struck the hybrid hard, sending it crashing to the ground. "Now guys!"
The ponies set their weapons to "Separate' and blasted the raptor. In a bright glow, the Pyrritator turned back into an Irriitator and Pyroraptor. The two carnivores shook their heads and just stared at the group. "One hybrid down; only one more dinosaur to find." Artie declared. "So what should we do with these two?"
"We'll put them in the dungeon." Celestia said.
"I got them." Rainbow swopped in a grabbed the two dinosaurs and flew them to the palace. "Now time to find that Dimetrodon." Mykan said.
Indomious sniffed the ground once again. "... I got him!"
"Where is he?" Buddy asked.
"... In New Ponyville."
The friends gasped in shock. "Let's move." Lightning, his unit and their majesties flew to New Ponyville. Mykan carefully picked up Sapphire and flew after their friends with Indomious following them.
In New Ponyville, the alarms were sounded as the hybrid stampeded through the town. Civilians rushed to the nearest shelter before the barriers came up. Once they were, Lightning and the team appeared. Dimetrodon saw them and roared at them. It lunged at them, but Applejack and Buddy leaped over him and lassoed him by his tail, stopping him. "Got'cha varmit." Dimetrodon roared and shook furiously to get away. Dyno and Myte joined hands and together used "BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS!" The attack struck Dimetrodon and he roared in pain. "Now amigos!" Dyno cried.
The girls and Celestia stepped forth and called out "VALKYRIA!" and they changed into the Valkyries of Harmony. "All together girls!" Celestia said. The girls surrounded her and together they launched the "HARMONY BEAM!" Dimetrodon was consumed by the blast and was imprisoned in a capture sphere. "That's all of them." Mykan called.
Pinkie picked up the Dimetrodon and handed it to their majesties.
"Thanks for your help, Rexy." Sapphire said, turning to her hybrid friend.
"No problem, Sapphire."
"Yes, we are very grateful for your assistance." Grand Ruler added. Indominous added and he walked off into the forest. "Bye everyone." The gang waved goodbye to their hybrid ally as he disappeared into the thick brush. "Now let's take our new dinosaur to the dungeon." Lightning said.
"And get you home." Mykan added, looking at Sapphire. Sapphire groaned and rolled her eyes. The gang all chuckled at the two friends.
