Chapters A long time ago, before Celestia and Luna. When Equestria was at constant war, a pair of unicorns had a son, whom they called Lux. Lux was born, being different from the others. He had wings and a horn, noticing that, both parents decided to move out of the village, before the word spread, worried about what the other ponies would do to his son.
Lux had a gray coat, his eyes were blue, and his mane was a rainbow of gray shadows, his size was not average, by the age of five he had the size of a teenager.
With the passing of time, Lux began to learn magic, his mother taught him the basics, while his father taught him offensive magic without mom knowing, of course.
When he was thirteen, Lux had already mastered the magic his parents had taught him and started to create some spells of his own. But not only that, without help from anypony he learned to fly, his parents explained to him that others might fear him because of the power he wields, so it was safer for him to stay far away from everypony, this made Lux sad, but he didn't want any problems with his parents, or cause any issues to them.
Time passed, by the age of twenty, his parents told him that he was going to have siblings, Lux was happy, that his little family was getting new members.
Lux's mom was quite young. She had become a mom when she was just seventeen, and now she was going to have two foals, after twenty years, on the other hand, Lux's father was forty-five years old, and he was afraid of being a father again.
Ten months after the news, a storm that could only be described as "apocalyptic" attacked the forest where his family lived, Lux saw the culprits, while they were leaving.
When the storm dissipated, Lux found his parent's corpses under the foundations of his house. Before leaving, Lux heard something crying, his sisters being embraced by both parents.
A couple of months later, Lux had learned that the Pegasus were responsible for the death of his parents. What angered him the most was the fact that the storm was destined for a city of unicorns that was passing through the woods. His parents died for nothing.
The hatred of Lux was growing every second, Lux wanted to go and destroy the Pegasus, The only thing that kept Lux sane and on the line were his sisters, One of his sisters was almost as big as when he was a colt, the filly had a white fur, white wings, white horn, and a pink mane and tail, his other sister was smaller, her fur was a dark blue, her mane, tail, wings, and horn were a lighter blue.
A short time later, Lux helped a unicorn in distress. His name was Stein, the unicorn marveled at the appearance of Lux and the strength it showed, without letting Lux refuse, the unicorn swore eternal loyalty to Lux.
Lux lived in the forest, inside a cave. Most of his supplies were stolen, such as milk for his sisters, diapers, medicine, etc.
Stein, who had joined the group recently, played the role of nanny, Stein was happy to take care of Lux's sisters, he considered it the highest honor. Stein's admiration for Lux was toxic, no matter what Lux did, Stein saw it as the image of pure perfection.
The arrival of Stein to the group only brought more anger to Lux; Stein explained to him the social separation between the tribes, war, death. Everything he had suffered was thanks to the selfishness of the tribes. His parents had died only because of the stubbornness of the tribes.
Stein realized that Lux was holding back the anger within himself, that the fillies under his care were the only thing that kept Lux from leaving and destroying the tribes. At that time, Stein decided to avoid telling Lux more about the tribes, not protect them, Stein himself would burn the tribes just to make Lux smile, but he did not want to see his master suffer anymore.
The first birthday of the fillies was approaching, Lux with the help of Stein had given both fillies names, the white filly Celestia, and the blue filly Luna. Lux explained that over time he forgot to name his sisters.
A couple of months after the birthday of Celestia and Luna, while Lux went for food and medicine to the nearest city. Six ponies attacked the cave where Stein was, Stein managed to stop them for a while, but in the end, his attempts failed. Lux arrived a couple of minutes later, the first thing he heard was a pair of ponies hitting Stein, while one of the ponies said "Hey guys, Can I have some fun with the fillies, I promise, I won't break them too much!", at that moment the darkness on Lux's heart took control, for when he opened his eyes again the six ponies, were dead.
Stein survived, beaten to the point of almost dying, took a couple of months of intensive care from Lux to recover, Celestia and Luna did not receive any damage, Stein was successful in preventing the ponies from getting too close to the poor fillies, Lux, on the other hand, had been having nightmares since that day.
The nightmares were getting worse; he saw himself as a demon of destruction. Over time, Lux came to realized that it was not all the ponies that deserved his hatred, only those that had brought the current society to the bottom, but in his nightmares, he destroyed everything and everypony, including his sisters if they ever came to oppose him.
That Night
"Stein, I do not know if I can continue with this" stated Lux with dark circles in his eyes, you could tell he had a couple of days without any sleep.
"Do not say that! Your sisters need you! I need you, what is a faithful servant without his master?" Stein answered with tears in his eyes.
"A free pony ?, I thank you for your loyalty, but if I stay, I will end up destroying this world, and although it would make me happy because those guilty of my suffering would be paying, I would also become what I hate the most" declared Lux crying.
"Those nightmares mean nothing!" Shouted Stein with pleading eyes staring at Lux.
"No, these nightmares are getting heavier, and every day I think more and more of in how to kill, destroy and enslave everypony," answered Lux looking at the moon.
"Then destroy them! Enslave them! Make them pay for your suffering! Make this world your canvas and paint it with blood!" said Stein crying in a mixture of anger and sadness.
"Your wish that I stay, it's almost psychopathic Stein, but I refuse to destroy the world," answered Lux sadly.
"Then let me go with you, the day you saved me from those thieves, it was the first day in my life that I knew what it was like to have hope, being born poor being a Unicorn is a capital sin for my tribe, every day I was beaten, raped, I could never refuse, if I wanted to eat, I had to obey, but that day, the day you arrived, saving me from that cruel destiny, you gave me a roof, a purpose, you taught me how to fight, you taught me what it means to be happy, so if you want to disappear from this world, I will accompany you to the depths of Tartarus, master" said Stein with a firm tone.
"I know it sounds selfish, but I'm glad, I will not be alone, thank you, Stein" answered Lux hugging him.
"I will always be by your side, master, as long as I live, you will never be alone." Stated Stein crying in Lux's chest
After deciding to protect the world from the darkness inside of him, all that remained was to get a good place for his sisters, someone to take care of them and guide them along a path of harmony, after a couple of months, he began to hear about a wise and powerful unicorn. His name was Starswirl the bearded, according to the rumors this unicorn traveled from place to place fighting with demons, sirens and other creatures, there were also rumors that this unicorn was looking for a way to unify the tribes under a single banner for peace and harmony.
Lux decided to investigate Starswirl the Bearded, after following him for a long time, he concluded that he had found the teacher, father, and guide that his sisters needed.
"It seems that he is a good choice master, he is powerful, wise and fervently seeks a way to bring peace to this rotten world," said Stein looking at the unicorn through a mirror made of magic by Lux.
"Yes, his way of living, his desire to bring harmony and peace to this world, his knowledge in magic, he will be a great teacher and father figure for them" answered Lux looking at his sisters sleeping.
"What is the plan ?, I do not think, that he will accept a couple of fillies without asking for an explanation," asked Stein, looking at Lux.
"That's why he will not see us; I have the spell ready to send them to his house, the spell will not leave a trace, for him, my sisters will be a miracle, the answer to his question of how to unite the tribes" answered Lux while preparing the spell.
"I see, to think that in two months, Celestia and Luna will be two years old," said Stain, while caressing the fillies.
"I'm ready, step aside Stein" shouted Lux with tears of pain in his eyes, at that moment Stein could notice in Lux's eyes his soul breaking into a thousand pieces.
"Right away," replied Stein, moving away from the fillies with tears in his eyes.
With a glow both Celestia and Luna disappeared, appearing inside the house of Starswirl the bearded, after a couple of hours the unicorn came to his house to find both alicorns asleep on his bed, for a moment began to search everywhere, wondering who could have left them, at that moment a parchment appeared in front of him.
"My dear, Starswirl the Bearded, your achievements have reached my ears, your mission to unite the tribes, your desire to stop this stupid war and more ... My main intention was to leave my sisters without any trace of who I am or where am I, But I was weak, I could not follow my idea apparently, before you start looking for me, I can not take care of my sisters, a long time ago something traumatic happened to me, and thanks to my ignorance at that time, I allowed the darkness plant roots inside of me. Like my sisters, I am also an alicorn, but this gift is a double-edged sword, the darkness in our heart grows and without us realizing it takes its own form, use this information to prevent my sisters from falling into the darkness like me, and I know I've asked for a lot from you, but, do not tell them about my existence, the one with the white fur is Celestia, and the other one is Luna, in fifty-four days they will have their second birthday.

Lux, without knowing had given him an idea, with the scroll that he had sent to Starswirl, it was what later brought the idea, to the unicorn to create the elements of harmony.
Five years later, the seal was ready — a seal strong enough to seal him and Stein for all eternity.
"I'm ready, Stein, are you sure you do not want to live a normal life, get married, have some foals or fillies of your own?" asked Lux, as he prepared the spell
"No, being with you, accompanying you for all eternity is my only wish," answered Stein, with a serious look
"Have I told you are crazy, right?" Lux said with a sad smile
"Excuse me, for asking this again, but in five years, nothing has happened, are you sure that your darkness is growing?" asked Stein, trying to convince Lux to stop the sealing
"Yes, the reason why the world is still standing is simple, I have contained the darkness in my heart with magic all this time, but that has a limit, I calculate that in two or three months I will be swallowed completely by darkness" Lux answered with an empty look
"I understand, I'm ready, master" declared Stein
"Me too, get closer." said Lux preparing to cast the spell, to seal himself and Stein together "This is your last chance, Stein, after this there is no going back."
"I've never been so sure of anything in my life," Stein answered with a warm smile.
"Ogh argi eta iluntasunean betiereko loaren argitan jarri gaitu," said Lux concentrating his magic in the magic circle that, was, appearing around them, while he repeated the spell over and over again.
The earth trembled, and for a minute there was a total eclipse. With a glow of light, both Stein and Lux were absorbed into a mountain, and in the center, a crystal was created which contained both ponies, the crystal was black, so deep that you could not see anything through it. The seal had been completed.
Two thousand years have passed, the darkness and magic of lux continued to grow without stopping. During that time Equestria was founded, the tribes were united under one banner, in the end, Starswirl the bearded achieved it.
Without warning, the seal that Lux had put on itself broke, releasing a wave of magic throughout Equestria.
After the magic stabilized, you could see the bodies of two ponies in the center of the mountain, around them there were several ponies, dressed in robes, kneeling before them.
The first one to wake up was Lux, seconds later, followed by Stein. It took them a couple of seconds to realize the atmosphere that surrounded them, the ponies that surrounded them, venerated them, for some reason.
"Oh mighty dark one, my name is Shadow Hoof, it's a pleasure to finally have our mighty king with us," said Shadow Hoof kneeling before Lux.
"Who are you?, And what do you want?" asked Stein, with an incredulous look
"We are, the union of the shadows, we have been trying to break the seal, which enclosed our master for all this eternity," Shadow Hoof answered with a look of admiration
Lux was speechless, his work, his sacrifice, all for nothing, but something had changed during those two thousand years, the darkness inside him was calm, like a river. What changed during his confinement?
"What has happened during the last two thousand years," asked Lux staring at Shadow Hoof
"The tribes united, the war is over, but now that you are here, master, these times of peace under the reign of those damned bitches, Celestia and Luna have come to an end, they will obey you, as your slaves, master" shouted Shadow hoof
"This, union of shadows, how many members do you have?," Lux asked, with a dead look
"The ones you see here, master." replied Shadow Hoof, gesturing to the others to come closer.
"Excellent, we will not have to look for anypony, it's a shame that you got to die for your ignorance." shouted Stein, looking at them with hatred
"What do you mean?!" Shadow Hoof asked shaking with fear
"Those bitches, as you call them, are my sisters!," Growled Lux, looking at them
"Your lives, your beliefs, your principles, they were all in vain, everything to get here and die, pathetic." Stein said, with a smile
After a couple of minutes, full of screams and blood, Lux and Stein came out of the mountain, formerly known now as the Temple of Shadows.
It was night outside, the Moon shone like never before, in the distance, there was a castle, something that surprised Lux.
"Two thousand years, huh, for me it was only yesterday that we were preparing to complete the sealing," said Stein looking at Lux
"Times have changed, my sisters ruling, what was once a lost land, Incredible," said Lux looking at the castle far away
"Impressive, in the end, Starswirl was a good option to raise Lulu and Tia, although what impresses me the most is the fact that Celestia and Luna are still alive after two thousand years," stated Stein with a thoughtful look.
"Most likely, it has to do with the fact that they are Alicorns," replied Lux.
"I understand, I suppose it makes sense, and what will we do now?" asked Stein, looking at Lux.
"The darkness in my heart seems to be dormant, At the moment we should look for a pony named Stygian," answered Lux
"Stygian ?, why?" asked Stein with a lost look
"While we were sealed, a pony came to the mountain, he was wounded, his friends had rejected him, he was looking for power, the darkness that protruded from the seal fulfilled that desire for power," answered Lux
"How did you know about that, master?" asked Stein,
"While we were sealed, I kept my consciousness active from time to time, from the two thousand years, I was awake only for twenty years, more or less," answered Lux,
"And why? Do we have to look for Stygian, he must be dead after so long," Stein said, looking at Lux in a hastily tone,
"No, he's alive, I can feel the darkness that he took from the crystal, calling me," Lux said, with a smile without emotion, noticing Stein's worried look, Lux decided to calm him down, "Do not worry, the darkness he took away, it's tiny, it's the leftovers of what the seal could not contain "
"I understand, and what about your sisters?, if the darkness in your heart has calmed down, there's nothing stopping you now," Stein declared.
"True, but I do not know if I can, after two thousand years, what kind of explanation or excuse will I give them," Lux explained, staring fixedly at the moon.
"Well, wherever you decide to go, I will accompany you, master," said Stein, kneeling in front of Lux.
After admiring the landscape for half an hour, Lux and Stein decided to go to the nearest city, Canterlot, they had two hundred bits, Stein took his time, to check each of the fifty cultists after the massacre, although, neither Stein nor Lux, knew how the money worked in this new kingdom.
After walking for about two hours, the entrance to Canterlot was seen in the distance, Stein recommended Lux to hide his true form, Lux after thinking about that suggestion decided to transform into a unicorn of average size, but with the same colors,
"Perfect !, I do not know how times have changed, but Alicorns have always been a rarity, first we should investigate how much money we have, and then decide how to use it, what do you think?" whispered Stein, studying the surroundings.
"I think it's an excellent idea, I'd like to get a book on modern society too, I think it would be useful," Lux replied, in a low voice.
"Excellent!" Stein exclaimed, being interrupted by Lux's hunger roars. "But, we could go for food first,"
"Yes, I think it would be for the best," replied Lux blushing,
Upon entering Canterlot, the first thing they noticed was that there were ponies from all the tribes together, after about ten minutes walking, being guided by Lux's nose, they arrived at their destination, Joe's Donuts Place,
"Welcome to Joe's Donuts, my name is Joe, how can I help you?," exclaimed Joe with a smile
"Well, surprise us?" Lux said uncertainly,
"Ha! A mysterious Joe on the way!" exclaimed Joe, on the way to his kitchen
"Donuts? They seem to be sweet of some kind, master," Stein whispered, looking at the donuts on the counter
"Sweets! Only the richest could afford that kind of luxuries two thousand years ago, now what do we do?!" Whisper Lux worried
"I think we should run away, the cultists did not look like rich ponies, so" whispered Stein being interrupted by Joe with a tray with twelve donuts
"Here you are, the special Joe!" exclaimed Joe raising his chest with pride, "Twelve quality donuts, glazed and chocolate filling,"
"Mr. Joe, I want to be honest with you," Lux said with a sad look, "I only have two hundred coins, I do not think I can pay for such luxury"
"Two hundred bits? The special Joe is only worth ten bits," Joe said, looking up and down at his new clients with a suspicious look,
"Wonderful, bring another special Joe," exclaimed Lux with a smile
"Okay...," Joe replied, walking to his kitchen, bewildered about what just happened
Two hours later, Lux and Stein had eaten twenty special Joe's, the taste, the texture, for a moment they forgot the world around them.
"This is divine !, unique !, wonderful !, I understand why it was so expensive so long ago," said Lux with a face of pure pleasure
"This ..., there is nothing I can say, that is not an insult to such a masterpiece! Wonderful!" exclaimed Stein with a dreaming expression,
"Guys, twenty specials, ten bits each," said Joe
"Oh no! We did not!" exclaimed Stein with terror on his face
"The worst thing of all is that, I do not regret anything," said Lux, eating the last donuts on the tray,
"Here it is Mr.," Stein said handing the bag with the two hundred bits to Joe,
"Thank you, come back soon," said Joe, saying goodbye,
"Okay let's go!" exclaimed Lux, licking the tray, before leaving the store,
"We have to re-design our strategy, master," said Stein, following Lux.
After three hours of touring the city, marveling at the buildings, the kindness that the ponies offered, both Lux and Stein were puzzled, after a while, they decided to sit in the park that was on the corner to discuss what to do now without money.
"As you know, we spend all our money in the Donuts shop," declared Stein.
"I do not regret it, I would do it again," exclaimed Lux, salivating just because he thought about donuts,
"I understand, but now we must resort to the methods of sustenance, that we used to use, two thousand years ago," said Stein with a malevolent smile,
"Stealing?, I'm already started, half an hour ago, I already have a total of forty-five bits," declared Lux with an equally malevolent smile,
"Perfect, let's try to get at least another two hundred bits before the nightfall," Stein said.
Inside the castle, Celestia and Luna were discussing, about, the wave of magic they felt, while trying to locate the origin of the source, Shining Armor and Cadence were also helping, the wave of magic was of such magnitude that Celestia decided to call the Elements of the Harmony and Discord.
"What kind of monster, can have such magical power," asked Luna
"I do not know, but even Discord is helping, and Discord does not take anything seriously!" declared Celestia, looking through the window,
"Hey! I can be serious! Maybe, well, I was able to locate the source of that magic power." said Discord while drinking a shake
"Well?, where is it?!" exclaimed Twilight,
"Okay, you're not funny! The source of that power is currently in Canterlot," Discord declared with special effects behind him.
"Here!, why did you take so long to tell us!" exclaimed Shining Armor "If you excuse me, princesses, I will prepare the royal guard,"
"No need, I'll take care of that, I know where it is, and only I!, can stop if it goes wild," said Discord, with a superhero cloak.
"Thanks, Discord, Equestria will be on your debt, we will prepare something for when you arrive with the creature," Celestia replied.
"Alright, I'll be back," said Discord with a German accent, putting on some sunglasses,
After a while of stealing, Lux began to feel bad, in a time of peace, where there was no need to steal, he was stealing.
"Ready, master, I managed to gather one hundred and fifteen bits," Stein declared proudly approaching Lux,
"It does not matter, we're going to return it," Lux said, with guilt in his eyes,
"As you wish, but where will we sleep today? Or what will we eat?" asked Stein, trying to understand the recent change in attitude,
"We'll manage, let's go," answered Lux
"There's a guard there, let's say we saw a thief with these bits, we stopped the thief, and now we're giving money to him, so he can get the money back to the ponies," Stein whispered, pointing to the guard,
"I think it's a great idea," whispered Lux,
"Hey, Mr., a while ago we met a thief, we stopped him, and these bits are the ones he was carrying," Stein said, looking at the guard,
"I hope you improve your lies because that was horrible," said the Guard changing form to Discord,
"Oh my ! what in the heck are you?" exclaimed Stein,
"That's hurtful! I'm a Draconequus!" replied Discord,
"You look like, the bad result of an orgy," said Stein, still lost in the strange appearance of Discord,
"Excuse us Mr. Guard, he does not filter what he says sometimes!" Lux said, breaking the argument between Stein and Discord
"How dense are you? I'm not a guard, but you could say I work for the royalty at the moment," said Discord, looking at Lux.
"The royalty?!, like Celestia and Luna!!?, I regret having bothered you! We did not want to take these bits, and we're leaving," Lux declared holding Stein by an ear with his magic,
"Oh no no no no, you two will, come with me!" declared Discord with a police uniform,
"No, thanks," refuted Lux
"Yes, thank you," Discord refuted, clacking his claws, teleporting Lux and Stein to the Royal Room,
"No, thanks ..." Lux refuted, but a couple of seconds later he noticed that he was no longer in the park, that there were twelve ponies besides him and Stein.
"Oh ... shit," Stein exclaimed, seeing the situation they were in.
Inside the throne room, Lux and Stein were surrounded by twelve ponies, Lux was in shock and panic, in front of him, two unmistakable magic signatures, Celestia and Luna, near his sisters was another alicorn Lux didn't recognize and behind him blocking the door there were six mares blocking the only exit from the room.
"What did I say Celly?, thirty minutes, or it's free," said Discord, delivering a pizza to Celestia,
Lux was paralyzed, looking for the right moment to teleport out of that place, just as Discord began to deliver a receipt to Celestia for the 'pizza', Lux tried to teleport out of the castle, failing completely, some weird magic was blocking him, he was sure that he could overpower the source in his Alicorn form but he didn't want to expose himself.
"Nice try!, but I can't let you get away, I need a new story to tell Fluttershy tomorrow is our weekly tea party," exclaimed Discord looking at Fluttershy, while Fluttershy was thinking 'But I'm right here, I'll know in advance...'
Stein, seeing the panic in Lux's face, decided to take the initiative, seeing Lux suffer, it was like receiving a sword in the heart for him.
"Excuse me your Majesties, My name is Stein," Stein said getting on his knees, "You see my friend here, he has nothing to do here, I met him recently, he was just giving me a tour of the city,"
"A lie? so soon ? to spare you the embarrassment, this room has a spell that notifies us when someone lies, so try again," Celestia said in a serious tone staring at Stein,
"My name is Stein, the only crime we have committed in Canterlot is stealing, Discord has the money," said Stein, staring at the floor, since the death of the cultists was outside Canterlot, technically he was not lying.
"Very well," Celestia said sighing with a disappointed expression on her face, signaling Discord to approach her, "Discord, who of these two ponies is the one we are looking for?"
"That would be, the pony with the panic attack behind his maid," replied Discord, pointing to Lux,
"What's your name?" Celestia asked.
Lux, hearing Celestia's voice raised his head, seeing her sister after so long, Lux could not help the feelings overwhelming him, without even him noticing he started to cry, tears of joy and agony.
"Hey, when the princess asks you something, you answer it! Do not think that those crocodile tears will save you from your punishment!" exclaimed the Rainbow colored mare, approaching Lux, being stopped by Stein,
"I'll say this just once you multi-colored whore, Touch him and you'll regret that decision immediately.!" exclaimed Stein, with killing intent, making Rainbow shiver.
"You dare to threaten, our subjects!?, in front of us!" exclaimed Luna, sounding insulted by Stein actions.
Luna's voice, was like a dagger for Lux's heart, noticing both of his sisters in front of him, Lux was starting to lose control over the spells that kept him as a unicorn, the emotions were too much for him, so it the heat of the moment the spell keeping his magic sealed broke, the spell keeping his appearance was still on, but not for long.
The magic was overwhelming and the pure release of it made Discord experience fear for the first time on his life.
"I would do anything for my master!" exclaimed Stein with anger and regret in his voice, he never imagined that he would have to defend Lux against his sisters, but that didn't matter, he would burn the world for him! family or not, Lux was the utmost priority in any situation.
While the others were in shock by the sudden change of the unknown 'unicorn', Discord was shaking with pure fear, for the first time in his life Discord felt overwhelmed by someone else, so much that he was starting sweat out of stress, Discord teleported Fluttershy to his side, and was deciding between leaving or begging for forgiveness, Discord has always been the strongest, while it was true that he had been defeated more than once it was never a single individual capable of such feat, but know he was completely sure this guy was bad news.
"Discord what are you doing,?" asked Fluttershy, making Celestia, Luna and the girls turn their attention to Discord.
"We shouldn't have mess with this guy... don't tell me you can't feel it, Celestia...he's a monster.."Discord said with a serious tone, Celestia and Luna decided to check Discord claims, and as soon as she did she was stunned by the power the unicorn in front of her had, but for some reason, the sisters didn't felt threatened by the unknown stallion.
Stein was planning their escape, he knew Lux wasn't in any condition to help, but without Discord's magic blocking their way out of the castle, all Stein needed was time, to accumulate the mana necessary to teleport out the castle, perhaps back to the ruins.
The other Alicorn decided to take the lead and ask some questions.
"My name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, I'm the Alicorn of love, and this is my husband Shining Armor," Cadence said while Shining was getting closer to Lux, "If you just answer our questions I promise you'll be treated fairly."
"Show your face!, and stop hiding!," Shining said in a commanding tone trying to removing Lux tog, but before he was able to do it, Shining was flying across the room crashing in a wall.
"Didn't I warn you guys?... Unfortunately, I don't have the time to kill you..." Stein said, Discord was shaking and wondering how Shining was able to hold such stupidity, didn't he felt the massive power in front of him, but in took Discord a couple of seconds to realize two things one, only him and the royal sisters felt the magic power emanating of him, two the pony in front of him wasn't a unicorn, it was something greater which made sense, there was no way a simple unicorn could overpower him.
The sisters, on the other hoof, were in shock, not only they were processing how to react to such powerful magic but also the pony in front of them was an Alicorn, while the other in the room had their jaw hanging, Stein took this chance to teleport.
"Next time I won't be so lenient!!." Stein shouted disappearing out of sight with Lux.
"We have a huge problem now Celestia, I'm pretty sure the elements of harmony won't do anything against him, this is bad really bad..." said Discord in a worried tone, to which Celestia and Luna simply responded with nods, while wondering why his magic felt some familiar.
Stein had teleported Lux and himself to the cave they were sealed in, Lux was having a hard processing everything.
"Are you ok, master?" Stein asked.
"No....I'm not!" Lux said between tears, "I can't be with my family, because the darkness is still inside of me, and nothing can stop it..."
"Master..."Stein said with a sad expression on his face.
"It hurts Stein... it hurts a lot..." Lux said closing his eyes, "Having them so close, and yet so far away."
Lux POV
I decided to go out in search of Stygian, the pony who had taken a small part of my darkness, I needed to free him from the confines of my own darkness, Stein as always accompanied me, my loyal friend, I still don't know what he sees in me, but I’m glad he's with me. Stygian's location was not a problem, from the cave I could feel the darkness calling me, like a son to his father, once I got an exact idea of where Stygian was, I teleported with Stein to the place, I couldn't teleport to the exact location, the darkness covered a somewhat wide range, which wouldn't let me know exactly where Stygian was, so we ended up in a weird forest. The good news is that we were close to it, as we went deep into the forest I began to remember my reunion with my sisters, my little princesses had grown up, I wanted to hug them so bad.
After a few minutes we arrived, the darkness was throbbing, calling me. We found some pillars apparently each pillar had a meaning, and they were the ones that kept Stygian sealed along with my darkness.
Looking closer I noticed that six ponies had sacrificed themselves to seal Stygian, I could feel the magical energies inside each pillar, without waiting any longer I decided to break the seal, an innocent pony had suffered a lot thanks to my own power, and others had to sacrifice themselves to stop it.
With a magic pulse I broke the seal, the resistance of the seal was equivalent to that of a paper, it was not very difficult to break it, a couple of seconds then ponies began to appear, one for each pillar. Star Swirl was among them, Stein was in shock and so was I.
While pony that took care for my sisters insulted me, for breaking the seal, I was waiting for Stygian to come out, every second that passed I felt the darkness getting closer and closer, after about ten seconds Stygian came out, the darkness covered him, he looked like an Alicorn made out of shadows, Stygian began to threaten the newly released ponies, but when he saw me he stopped, he stared at me, and after a second the darkness left Stygian and came back to me, it felt as if a drop of water fell into an ocean.
The ponies were surprised, especially Star Swirl, none of them could see that I was an Alicorn, I covered my wings with a robe. With Stein I teleported back to the cave, I had already finished my main mission, but the doubt remained in my head, did I corrupted more innocent creatures these thousands of years in confinement?, when Stygian came to the cave I was awake, but maybe I corrupted other creatures over time, in the end my seal was a failure, like a tumor I expanded corrupting everything I laid a hoof on, one more reason to stay away from my sisters.
Star Swirl POV
A mysterious pony had broken the seal, he broke the seal without any difficulties like a colt opening a birthday present, and that was not the most impressive thing, the mysterious pony absorbed the pony of the shadows, and immediately left, leaving Stygian unconscious on the floor, with no trace of darkness in him, just how powerful was the mysterious pony.
“Celestia and Luna need to know this..” I said sighing.
Discord POV
I still remembered that monster, how could I forget, how I could be so stupid!!, his magic was overwhelming, and the darkness inside of him almost made me drown, why didn't I notice that before? What am I supposed to do now? This is the first time anyone has outdone me at everything, should I run or stay for Fluttershy.
“This is more chaos that I can possibly handle.” I said trying to think of a solution to all this.
Celestia POV
Who was that mysterious pony, I was puzzled, Discord was behaving seriously and worried, that's something you do not expect from him, Discord recommended me to investigate a weapon with more power than the elements, and I agreed with him, if this pony was an enemy the elements would not be able to stop him, what I do not understand is why his magic felt so familiar, who is this pony...
“I wonder if I’ll be able to protect my little ponies this time” I said to myself.
Luna POV
Discord was terrified of the mysterious pony, and with a good reason, his magic was overwhelming, but still it didn't scare me, instead it brought me a familiar feeling which for some reason I couldn't remember, I hope he's not an enemy.
“I won’t give up! I will find a way!” I shouted in my room, trying to lift my own mood.
Stein POV
My master and I went out looking for Stygian, my opinions about seeking Stygian was simply to let him die, my master should not be over exercising his magic, the darkness within him could wake up again, but my master assure me that a drop of water would not start a tsunami, my master teleported us to the area where the imbecile was sealed. after walking a couple of minutes we found the place of the seal, six pillars keeping the seal, my master broke the seal with incredible ease, but it was to be expected, my master is the one who stands above all! , when the seal broke, I was surprised to see Star Swirl, but I dissimulated the surprise along with my master, after my dear master absorbed the darkness out that imbecile we teleported to the cave.
“I will always be on your side either saving the world or destroying it, for I am nothing but tool to be used.” I said looking at my master eyes.
“Stein, please find a hobby.” My dear master replied.
