The heart of a dragon

I sat on the cart as I waited for the girls to finish shopping. We recently arrived at Griffin claws (I'm sensing a pattern here.) And I thought it would be a good idea to let them go buy some stuff for themselves while I guard our wagon. So I gave them some bit's to buy what they want. I wish I could go with them and have a good time but with all of thieves around I already stabbed three, and a hour ago. Oh before I forget day put a spell to let me know if there's anything wrong. As I sat there I noticed a book in a shop window it had a picture of a diamond dog, pony, fox and Ailcorn. Figuring the voyage across the seas would be a long one and I decided to buy the book and put them into one of my pockets. Eventually I got bored enough to read so I chose the book and opened it up and started read.

(Canterlot castle breakfast)

The main six the princesses and discord all sat in the dining hall, not one of them spoke a word or that was till rainbow dash spoke up.

“Princess not to sound rude or anything but who was that yesterday and why was he so pissed off?” Asked rainbow dash as she looked at Celestia

“You know I'm wondering about that too? He used to be so… funny but now he just cold.” Said discord looking at Celestia

“I to wonder Tia did some happened to him?” Asked Luna

“Well do you two remember the old law that says that the high level gods and demons have to give their kids soon after there born and they can pick someone take care of the kid?” Celestia asked with a nervous voice

“Oh yeah that was a part of the peace treaty between the gods and demons. But what does this have to do with anything?” Asked Luna

“Do you two know the king was married to a demon” discord and Luna shook their heads “well they had a kid and well he asked if I could raise him and I said no.” Discord, Luna looked mortified

“Tia! Why would you do that?! I remember you saying that you always wanted a kid, so why would you say no!” Yelled Luna

“Right! I still remember that during my time in stone you'd talk yourself about how if you had child you'd name it solar flare!”

“I don't know! I panicked and said I wasn't ready for that so I said no!” Celestia yelled suddenly a flash of light blinded everyone in the room. When the light faded stand in front of one of the windows was the angel of love.

“Good morning Luna discord, Celestia.” when the angel said Celestia's name with a bit of anger.

“Oh goddess what brings you here?” Asked Luna with surprise

“Well here to talk about Jay, and I'm guessing the king didn't tell you what Jay's been though.”said the angel as she walked up to the table.

“You'd be correct.” Said discord

“*Sigh* I'm guessing by what I walked in on was Celestia telling the king no?” They nodded and the angel shook her head before seeing the main six sitting in the room. (No Fluttershy is not with them) “oh sorry I didn't see you girls there! If you want to leave now is the time, because I'm not going to lie it gets pretty bad.” After a few long minutes nobody moved, except for guards who were forced to leave by discord who then locked the doors and windows. “Well I going to go off the record and say that I'm probably breaking a couple of laws…… well tell started at when Celestia said no to the king. After she said no to the king, was forced to give up his baby to a random god. And what got god was he given to? Xeno'jiiva the god of order.” She said as she tossed a card into the center of the table, suddenly a holographic image appeared above the card.

gasps filled the room as they stared in fear of the mighty dragon. “yes that is him, but it get worse, not even two days after he received baby Jay he was murdered and left to defend himself. And while he was trying to learn how to crawl, the world outside for a better words was in chaos and not the good kind. So the humans that killed his adopted father came back to the place and they found Jay and hope he set the world back. *Sigh* but when he was five years old he was lonely and he wanted a friend he had imaginary friends that's all well and good, but the fact is he was actually making them out of elements of earth like gold diamonds and iron. And when the humans found out an used him to make money. They would feel him to make rare materials to sell to people. The worst part in my eyes is the fact they starved him, beat him, cut him, and wiped him to the point he couldn't move.”

“uHow someone be so cruel! And to a child at that!” Yelled discord

“*Sigh* I really wish could tell you, I really do. Listen I need to get going I'll probably be back tomorrow if I don't have a mountain of work to qdo.” and with that she was gone

Meanwhile back with Jay

“So are we doing out here Jay?” Asked nightmare moon as she a top the cart wearing really revealing clothes and so was daybreaker and apparently they found a alteration spell that expanded their ‘assets’. And now because I got a nosebleed they are going to stay that way and not a hour later the others wanted them to case them to. So now every time I talk to them I can't look straight at them or nosebleed. (This is what nightmare and daybreaker are wearing)

“Well I thought instead of trying to buy ride and avoid someone trying to rob us of our bit's. So I'm going to build the ship.” I said as I cracked my knuckles

“Um how are you going to do that? If you don't mind me asking?” Said Fluttershy

“Oh it simple really I'm going to use magic.” I said as I faced the open land in front of me and started channeling my magic into the ground and made twenty of two types of golems, wooden golems and mithril golems or that was what I was trying to do but somehow made forty of them. I was confused at first but wrote it off and started imprinting the blueprints for the ship they then leave and started building it. (If you're wondering what they look like here you go)

I dusted my hands off as turned around only to be greeted by the girls giving me a shocked expression. “What?” I asked as the golems started to work behind me.

“YOU CAN USE MAGIC?” yelled Daybreaker

“er yeah I've always been able to do that, just not that many.” I said scratching my chin.

“Why didn't you tell us? Do you not trust us?” Asked Selene with tears in her eyes

I saw the tears and quickly wrapped her in a hug. “I'm sorry girls it's just I don't use my powers much because of what happened to me in the past.”

“What do you mean 'what happened to you in the past’?” Asked foxy

“*Sigh* you girls might want to take a seat, it's not going to be easy.” They looked at each other before nodding so I used my magic to make some rock chairs. As they say down I pulled a bottle of whiskey.

(One hour later)

“... And that's how I came to this world. *Sigh* I guess you girls are going to leave me now you wouldn't want to be with someone who is broken.” I said as I sat there looking at the ground. I no longer had my armor on and my scarred chest on full display.

I heard shuffling before I felt someone slap me across the cheek. I slowly put my hand on my cheek and looked up at who slapped me. I saw daybreaker standing in front of me tears running down her face and slowly fell to the ground.

“Don't you ever talk about yourself like! You are NOT broken, far from it Jay! in the short time I knew you, you proved to be one of the greatest people I know. You continue to make our hearts grow ever more in love with you. You may think that you can't be loved but that not true, we love you so please don't talk like that?” She said as she wrapped me into a hug and girls quickly following suit, and I broke as I hugged them back and cried.

After I calmed down they refused to let me go so nightmare moon used her magic to cook some food. Before we fell asleep together.
