Twilight sat with her friends
The day was coming to an end
Everyone was coming together
To share gifts with one another

It was the time of year for sharing
For love, gifts, and caring
To be with loved ones
To share love in the tons

But not for Twilight
To her, the holiday was a blight
Feeling so alone and distant
Even next to her number 1 assistant

Her friends were near
The gifts flowed like beer
None of it mattered
None of it flattered

She simply wished for the holidays to go
As she stared out of her window
The snow silently fell
No one knew, but she could tell

She wanted to be like the snow
Disappearing into the flow
The banks growing with every flake
Indistinguishable at every take

She felt so alone
Stuck in a room on her own
Next to all her friends
Sharing their latest trends
