This universe is a large place. So large in fact, that one could say infinite. However true infinity is something that cannot be understood. Much like the science of souls, infinity itself is such a large concept that any sentient mind would buckle under the strain if it approached even a fraction of its true machinations. And in the infinite landscape of the universe, a single drop does indeed change everything. If you have one figure who can bend the rules of reality as they see fit, then another will rise. And another. And another. Thus is the curse of infinity. When anything can happen. It has. An infinite number of times. Some beings state this is impossible, as this means something should have destroyed the universe. A flaw in thinking, because true infinity is too large to be destroyed, for every event that causes utter destruction, an event of rebirth happens. For every event that causes a boon in life, a plague descends. Balance is the playbook of the universe, and it has gotten very good at its job.

Some will also decry this theory for far simpler reasons. It cannot be true because nothing has reached out their hand. Which is foolish for much more basic reasons. There may be infinite everything, but that does not mean that it will reveal itself to all. For a much simpler analogy say you found yourself somewhere secretive. A closet in a friends house, or a bathroom for the wrong gender. You have only two real options, leave or stay. Most will choose to leave when they will not be caught, and thus will not disturb anything. In the same way the predators of the universe act.

To understand how infinity can have predators you must understand the basic principle of evolution. Adapting to one's environment. While on planets this can follow relatively simple rules, as a creature begins to leave its native home it can have drastic changes. A prey species may become a predator, a plant may eat bugs, or a creature that eats food may begin to feed on something slightly more esoteric. Fate.

A world with a set fate is a common thing, and though to those inside the globe of fate may not be able to see the ending, one who has seen the play can see how it ends easily. And some creatures feed off of its energy as fate itself withers and dies, changing everything just to keep up with a sudden change in variables. THus orders have been born. Call them what you will. Auditors, Changers, Brotherhoods, it does not matter. They revel and feast on changing the future of worlds. Some find it a delicacy. Something to tapped once and enjoyed as the corrections start small before spiraling out of control. Some are gluttons. Throwing a world into chaos with the first act. And a few feel remorse. Trying to change things minorly, so as to sip the minute changes they've caused in order to preserve a modicum of order in the world they changed.

But all that is a minute detail that is only expounded upon to give you the proper mindset for another strange fact that most creatures never think about. Every fantastical element, story, or science you have ever heard of is true. And not only true but available in what you would consider your universe. While some things call it a multiverse that is a very misleading sentiment. It is less a case if parallel dimensions that you travel through to reach strange new lands, but rather what one might consider teleportation. Because of the sheer distance traveled, however, an entirely different dimension might as well be accurate.

But the reason all this has been revealed to you is simple. Even if you have been taken, your home is still there. And your departure was unmarked. The universe cares not for the changing fates of worlds, and you have been left with a simple truth to accept. You are a catalyst of change, just like the others before you. Perhaps that may stoke your ego, but know that it does not mean you are the hero. Nor does it make you a villain. A charred corpse flying through a window can inspire more change than an alien living a simple life out on a farm.

So as you are shunted from your home, you will be given these tales. They will be a reminder. You are not alone, and if you wish to do anything with the life that was stolen from you, then you must act. Stand tall and follow the examples shown here. YOU. ARE. HUMAN. So act like it, and strain against the buckling weight of this challenge. As fate and destiny begin to fall around you, find your own. And when you do, grasp it, or die a broken soul, whose story will never be finished.
