Just so you know, I am not an expert writer. So may I remind you, this story is terrible. So if you want to criticise, please be nice... I get hurt easily...
"I'm pretty, right?"
Niss was currently looking at herself in mirror. Another day of school… It was hard for a small sapphire siren to take in so much knowledge in just one day. She smiled softly as she saw her reflection. No makeup covered an inch of her face except for the pink lipstick that matched perfectly with her purplish skin tone. Her shiny, golden eyes shined softly in the even more golden sunlight, which glowed on her through the window in her room.
It was amazing that Niss could be so beautiful without no makeup. Sure, she wore lipstick and sure, when it came to performing, she had to put some on. But when it was a normal day, she never wore any heavy makeup like The Dazzlings and her two best friends, Combob and Consense.
The Dazzlings wore makeup to look sexy, not much makeup, just eyeshadow that was a darker color than their normal skin tone and mascara and that was about it. Combob wore makeup because she was goth. She only puts on black eyeshadow, mascara and black lipstick. She looks rather good in it, Niss thought. Consense wore makeup to make herself more pretty. She wore more makeup than her and Combob and even the Dazzlings and she was younger than all of them combined. She wore light blue eyeshadow, red lipstick and mascara. Her and her low self-esteem. If only she could see Connie walk around in public with only her natural face. Connie rarely let anyone see her face without any makeup except for Niss. She just wished that Connie could finally think positively about herself.
Niss then sighed and grabbed a damp washcloth from the bathroom and proceeded to wipe her lipstick off. When she was finished, she looked down at the moist cloth, seeing smears of pink on it. She then looked in the mirror, now without a trace of makeup on. She looked more beautiful than before. She took off her black and white striped headband, went back to her room and laid it down on her dresser. She then smiled big and sprinted out the door, the sunlight hitting her face even harder. But she didn’t mind, all she cared about was meeting her friends at Sugarcube Corner. Niss pulled out her phone while running and decided to text her crush, telling her that she’s on her way. The second Sonata texted back, Niss ran into a couple of boys and a couple of girls. She fell on her back from the impact as one if the girls snarled at her.
“Hey, watch it, dumbass!” The girl growled.
Niss did not seem offended that someone called her that, but she did seemed annoyed, “Geez, sorry! I was just trying to get to my friends!”
“What? Are they imaginary? Because by the way you look, it looks like you don’t have any!” The four laugh while Niss growled.
“And where are yours? Did they ditch you or something with your smartass attitude?”
“Take that back!” One of the boys snapped angrily. Just then, Niss realized that the boys and girls consisted of, Flash, Timber, Trixie and Gella Loathe (Connie’s Ex girlfriend) and Gella was the one Niss ran into.
“Nope… Don’t feel like it…”
“Are you hearing yourself right now?” Flash butted in.
“Do YOU hear YOURSELF? I said sorry when I bumped into you!”
“Probably running from a crush who rejected her feelings. I can see why. That’s the ugliest girl I’ve ever seen!” The four laughed again. Niss eyes watered heavily and stomped over to the laughing Flash in anger and upset.
SMACK!
Flash rubbed the side of while the other three stared at him in shock. Flash moved his hand from his cheek, revealing a red hand print.
“Okay, now I know Niss and she would never do that…” Gella replied, still shocked by the slap Niss gave Flash.
“Guess you didn’t know her as well as you thought you did…” Trixie said, Gella giving a little glare to her.
“Oh, it’s payback time… We need a plan…” Timber said as he put a finger to his chin, thinking. A few minutes later, Gella smirked.
“I have a plan…” She commented and gave out an evil chuckle.

Niss was laying on her bed, crying into her pillow softly, ‘Why would they say such things…? I’m not that ugly am I? I mean, sure, I don’t wear makeup like most girls… But I’m still pretty… right?’, Niss thought as she heard a knock at the door. She raised her head up from the pillow, her eyes bloodshot and red from tears. Her heart broke as she heard a familiar voice from the other side of the door.
“Nissy? Are you in there? I thought you were coming to Sugarcube Corner to meet with us… You were taking so long that I had to come over and see if you were alright… then I hear you crying… Are you okay? Did something happen?” Sonata’s voice came from the other side of the door. But instead of usual bubbly voice, it was more calm and more quiet and had a bit of worry and sadness.
Sonata really did care about her if it meant to change her whole mood. Normally when it came to these situations, Sonata is extremely quiet unless people asked her to speak. Hell, maybe even more quiet then Connie. But this was on a whole new level. Sonata seemed like she wanted to comfort her and whatever got her down, she wanted to cheer her up. Sonata wasn’t exactly the best at comforting someone, but Niss knew based on her voice, that she wanted to at least try.
“It’s unlocked…” Niss quietly said as she rubbed her eyes and wiped her tears from her soaked face as Sonata walked in. Sonata’s eyes widened at Niss’s state and quickly walked to her.
“Are you okay? Did something terrible happen? What happened?” Sonata asked with extreme worry.
“It’s nothing…” Niss lied.
“Tell me! Tell me! Tell me! PLEASSSSEEEE!”
“Sonata--”
“With a banana on top?” Sonata softly smirked when Niss slightly flinched at the mention of her favorite food. Before Niss could reply, Sonata interrupted her again, “We can get you some at Sugarcube Corner~ Maybe a banana shake?” Sonata teased.
Niss quickly turned her head away from Sonata, trying to not fall under her spell of banana related food, “Sonata, stop~”
“Banana cake?”
“Nope,”
“Banana pie?”
“Nope,”
“Hmmm… Or maybe you could--”
“Okay! Okay! …. I’ll tell you…” Niss said to her as she turned back around facing her.
“There’s a good girl…” Sonata softly said with a warm smile as she sat on the bed with Niss. Niss blushed when she saw her face was pretty close to Sonata’s. She could basically feel her hot breath on her face: she could basically smell the tacos she’s been eating before she got here or to Sugarcube Corner. This was a bit unsettling getting this close to her crush, so she put a hand to her chest and softly pressed against it, signaling Sonata to move back a little.
“Sonny… personal space…” Niss blushed more, pressing her chest again. Sonata tilted her head to the side in confusion but then realized how close she was to Nissy and scooted away from her.
“Oh! Sorry!” It was Sonata’s turn to blush now.
Niss sighed and took a deep breath in before speaking, “Yes, I was gonna go to Sugarcube Corner to meet with you… But I accidentally ran into Flash, Timber, Gella, and Trixie… and… and t-they started calling me names and…” Niss couldn’t go on as she silently broke into tears. Sonata held an arm out to her and started rubbing her back comfortingly. She knew Niss wanted space, but that didn’t care to Sonata anymore as she scooted closer to her friend, so close that their shoulders were touch- no, rubbing against each other.
“Shh~ It’ll be okay! Just don’t listen to them… I know it was an accident… They’re just grumpy… That’s all…” Sonata cupped Niss’s face with both hands as she said that, making Niss’s shiny golden eyes look into her pinkish magenta ones, “It’ll all be okay…” Were Sonata’s last before she pulled Niss into a hug. It wasn’t a tight one, nor it was too soft. It was a very gentle hug, which surprised Niss a bit, but knew Sonata was like this because she wanted to comfort her: the hug was just for her.
Niss softly put her chin on Sonata’s shoulder, enjoying the warmth coming from the ruby siren.
The two stayed in that position for a while until Niss spoke up again, “Sonny…? …. Am I pretty…?”
Sonata eyes widened softly at that response, “Of course you are!” Sonata then froze and broke the hug and gave Niss a sad look, “Did they say you weren’t…?” Sonata asked softly as her face inched closer to hers, making the both blush.
“I… well…” Niss began, but before she could finish…
KNOCK! KNOCK! …. KNOCK! KNOCK! …. KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
CRACK! CRACK! SMASH!
Sonata and Niss quickly rose from the bed. Not even questioning what it was, they immediately ran downstairs, only to find the same four broke down the door of the house.
“What the hell do you want?” Niss yelled again, mad.
“Oh… We’re not here to do anything to you…” Gella replied with a huge evil smirk on her face as the four pushed Sonata out of the way and surrounded Niss.
Suddenly, Niss was picked up by the collar of her shirt by Timber, who looked pissed, “Look what you done to my friend. Now, it’s time to do the same to you… only worse....”
“First off, how do you know where I live? Second off, I said I was sorry! Third, CAN YOU PLEASE PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN?! And please, don’t hurt me…”
“Pfft! You seriously didn’t think just because I’m your worse enemy and because I was close to Connie and you and your friend, Combob and I knew where all you guys lived, you seriously thought I forgot?!” Gella commented with an evil chuckle.
‘Huh, good point…’, Niss thought.
“And we know you said sorry, we’re not dumb. But sorry wasn’t enough. Plus, you slapped our friend. So how could we forgive you?” Trixie replied next with a smug smirk.
“Why would I put you down? You do deserve what you get!” Timber growled as he pulled back his fist, getting ready to hit Niss. It looked like he was aiming towards her face, “This’ll make you uglier!”
“NO!”
PUNCH!
Niss looked in shock as she was being dropped to the floor by Timber, who fell to the ground with a bloody nose and lip. Timber looked up at the person who punched him: Sonata Dusk.
“HOW COULD TWILIGHT LIKE SOMEONE LIKE YOU?! YOU’RE RUDE AND PICKY AND WILL ATTEMPT TO PICK ON ANYONE WHO YOU THINK IS WEAKER THAN YOU! WELL, GUESS WHAT?! IF YOU DON’T CUT IT OUT, I WILL TELL TWILIGHT THAT YOU’RE DOING THIS TO MY FRIEND! SO JUST GET OUT!” Sonata yelled as she held up a fist to Timber’s face, who just chuckled.
“Please, Twilight still thinks a charming, nice guy. While you are one of the sirens who almost took over the school with her ‘charming spells’ and ‘adoring songs’. Who do you think she’s gonna believe…?” Timber reminded her, his voice getting low and threatening. Sonata just growled, her face getting red with anger. She then tackled Timber and punched him in the eye, then the side of the face, the neck, and so on.
Niss just stared as Sonata beat up Twilight’s crush. She never knew Sonata was capable of doing… this! She then had to stop Sonata when she heard a bone crack from Timber when she punch his shoulder. Niss pulled Sonata off of Timber, who was on the ground, badly beaten.
“You crazy woman! Stay away!” Timber yelled as he crawled away from the two sirens, scared for his life.
“NO! YOU stay away from her! I might be the siren who took of the school! But if you mess with Niss again, you will never see the light again!” Sonata threatened as her eyes glowed slightly red, making the four run out the door, never wanting to meet Sonata’s surprising wrath again.
“Sonata… you saved me…” Niss said as that sentence repeated in her mind over and over again. No one would really believe that or maybe even laugh at Niss if she said that to someone’s face, but it was true.
Sonata smiled in response, “Of course! You’re my friend! And that’s what friends do, right?” She went up to Niss and hugged her tightly, who returned it, “I could never let anyone hurt you~”
“What’s up with you today? You never beat up someone over me…” Niss replied, now very worried if this was the real Sonata she was talking to.
“Of course I would…” Sonata softly smiled, then it faded as if she remembered something, “About you being pretty thing… Nissy, you are pretty… You’re even beautiful, if I can add that… Can I?” Sonata turned to her to see Niss’s blushing face. Niss nodded and Sonata smiled big.
The two then walked up back upstairs to Niss’s room. While they did they this, Niss held Sonata’s hand, who squeezed her hand back in response. Once they arrived to the room, Sonata hugged Niss again, which confused Nissy. The hug continued for a while until Niss spoke up.
“What’s this for?” Niss asked as Sonata finally pulled away and stared into her eyes.
“Just to make you feel even more better… You’re beautiful… Don’t forget that…”
“Y-Yes, but…” Sonata then frowned, prepared for what Niss was about to say next, “Naturalness… Isn’t that what makeup is for…?”
Sonata was now confused, “What do ya mean?”
“C-Connie said that makeup makes you look prettier than you already are… is that true…?”
“What? No… Makeup is to make you look natural if someone doesn’t like the way their natural face looks without it… You don’t need it however… Don’t you think you’re pretty without it…?”
Niss then looked in the mirror. Her hair was a bit ruffled up from crying, her normal yellow eyes were still bloodshot red, but barely and dried up tears strains were still down her cheeks. “Yes…” Niss answered quietly.
“Then stay this way…” Sonata replied as she sat on the bed. Niss sat down with her soon after.
“Sonata…? Why are you doing this…?” Niss asked as she looked at Sonata, who just looked back at her with a confused expression.
“What do you mean?”
“First… You tried to comfort me. Next, you keep hugging me and saying that I’m pretty. Lastly, before Timber could punch me, you fought him… for me…”
“I did say that you’re my friend and I would do anything for you…”
“Yes, but why me? Out of all people? You wouldn’t do it to Adagio, Aria, Combob or anyone! So why me…? Is there a specific reason you’re being so nice to me…?” Niss asked, making Sonata blush.
“I… If I tell you, can you please promise not to react badly…?” Sonata asked quietly.
“Of course…”
“Pinkie promise me…”
“... Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye…” Niss said as she did the motions to the promise.
“Okay…” Sonata took a deep breath as she began, “I did say you were my friend like a million times already… But I guess… Look, you are my friend…”
“Yeah, you said that alre--”
“I wasn’t finished!” Sonata whined.
“... Sorry… Continue…” Niss replied, feeling a bit guilty that she interrupted Sonata from speaking. She was a villain after all and villains aren’t best known for pouring out their heart to people. So she needed to give Sonata her full respect.
“... I… from the first day we met, I felt strange… Nothing bad… just strange… my tummy always feels tingly and I always get nervous every time I talk to you…” The two of them blushed as Sonata kept explaining, “Normal people would say that it’s love… So… I’m just gonna go by what normal people say when they feel this way about someone… I like… No, wait… I love you, Nissy… I guess that’s why I don’t act like myself around you… Why I care about you so much and do all these things for you…”
“Sonny… I…” Niss stopped and thought more about what Sonata just said. Sonata just confessed her love to her, but again, why her? Out of all the boys and girls she could be with, why does it have to be her?
Mostly Connie got all the guys and girls after her, which was reasonable. She was sweet, shy, caring, smart, and incredibly beautiful. Who wouldn’t want her? Well, except for Gella who broke her heart to be with another girl she thought was better than her. Still, Sonata Dusk just said she loved Nissy Silly, more than a friend. She then smiled a bit when she realized she felt the same way about Sonata. She turned to her and hugged her gentle, much to Sonata’s surprise.
“I really like you too… more than friends…”
“REALLY?!” Sonata exclaimed excitedly, which Niss giggled.
“Really…” Niss replied as she laid her head on Sonata’s chest, absorbing her warmth. Niss felt comfortable, feeling Sonata’s chest rise up and down as she breathed, listening to her heartbeat. It showed how much she loved her, and she loved that too. She then felt Sonata’s hand stroke her purple hair, smoothing it out. Niss looked up at Sonata and wrapped her arms around the ruby siren’s neck. Niss finally sat up straight and smiled softly at Sonata, who smiled back. Sonata knew Niss wanted some personal space, but she couldn’t help it when she leaned her face closer to Niss’s. Niss could feel Sonata’s taco smelling breath again, but this time, it didn’t feel uncomfortable. It felt nice.
Niss then looked into Sonata’s magenta orbs while Sonata looked back into Niss’s golden ones. Sonata softly cupped Niss’s face again before slowly closing the gap in between the two, their lips rubbing against each other. Niss felt like she was in heaven. She never kissed anyone before, and it felt amazing. Even more amazing since it was Sonata. Niss then felt some warm, wet, pressure on her lips. Knowing it was Sonata’s tongue, she opened her mouth, letting it in. Niss moaned a bit as she tasted tacos on Sonata’s tongue while Sonata tasted bananas on Niss’s. “Please…” Sonata softly begged as she pulled off her short pink skirt, showing her matching pink panties.
“... Y-You don't think we're going too fast with this…?” Niss asked, getting a good look at Sonata's body. Was Sonata really about to give up her virginity to her, so soon?

The two started to get worried about what had possibly happened to the two sirens, until they heard sounds and creaking coming from upstairs. The two looked at each other with curiosity, but went upstairs anyway. They stopped halfway up the stairs when they the sounds and creaking became more clear. It was moaning: very sexual like moaning. It sounded like it came from both Sonata and Niss. And the creaks they were hearing was from the movement from the bed.
“N-Nissy! I’m coming! Faster!” They heard Sonata’s voice from the bedroom.
