Octavia was walking towards a venue in Ponyville where she would perform a classical piece that she had written herself, she wanted to get their as soon as she could, as she walked their she encountered Cheerilee school teacher from Ponyville who was walking back home.
"Hey Cheerilee! What's up with you today? Are you enjoying this fine weather that we are having?" She asked the teacher, Cheerilee looked up at the sky and watched the clouds and then spoke.
"Of coarse I am, everybody loves this weather, did I tell you how I had to search everywhere for Lyra during the time she was moving?" Cheerilee said, Octavia gave her a look of sympathy as that sounded like it was a tough think to do.
"No you didn't, I'm sorry that happened to you, her move saddened everybody but we are all glad that she is happy where she is now and we are glad to visit her sometimes as well, we'll soon get over it after a few years." Octavia said, Cheerilee shrugged.
"I guess, you performing tonight?" Cheerilee asked, Octavia nodded as she pointed towards the outside venue, Cheerilee examined it and spoke.
"Great! Tell me how it goes! I got to get going sorry, I'll see you around Octavia." Cheerilee said, Cheerilee left Octavia as she went to do whatever she had to do wherever she had to do it at.
Once she got inside she went to the back rooms and as she got to the back rooms she ran into Twilight putting her ballet attire on, she was surprised as the princess never performed in Ponyville before as she usually stayed in her castle or did some fun stuff with her friends or did work somewhere else, Twilight stared at her with shock.
"Octavia? Your performing here as well on the same night as me? Well that's a really dumbfounding coincidence." Twilight remarked, Octavia only shrugged in speechlessness.
"I guess I am, you weren't on any of the info brochures so I had no idea that you would be dancing here on this night of all nights, don't get my wrong as I don't have a problem with this new revelation but I'm just shocked at the coincidence." Octavia said.
"I am on the brochure you just didn't look farther down enough, I perform after everyone else even if I am the princess I don't get special treatment anywhere I perform which I don't need any as I'm not better than anyone else so I'm not upset by it because at least the people like it." Twilight said.
"Is there anybody that you know here?" Octavia asked.
"Oh yeah of coarse, my family and my friends are all here to watch me dance, even my classmates are here to watch." Twilight explained.
"Well that is wonderful Twilight Im really glad that they are her, you will be graceful out there im sure of it. Just try your best Twilight as you always try your best." Octavia said.
"Thanks Octavia you really are a really encouraging friend and thats wonderful, I always try my best I succeed at that, I make sure that I never screw up as I want to deliver an amazing performance for everybody in Equestria as I perform in a bunch of places since I started to dance by myself more and more." Twilight explained with passion in her voice.
"Thats great Twilight, you sure sound passionate about dancing and im glad your so passionate about it just like how i am passionate about making music for people.
"You bet i am passionate! I'll always be passionate about dancing even when i get older I will still be dancing, I might not be able to do some of the more difficult moves when I am older but I will still do some basic ballet moves and that is what counts." Twilight said.
"It sure does. Im going to go to the back Twilight, amaze them out there Twilight." Octavia said. Twilight waved goodbye as Octavia went to the back.
Soon the regal princess of Equestria went onstage to perform her ballet routine that she had made for that night and once she started her routine Octavia was blown away from the amazing performance.
Octavia watched as her breath was taken away by the sheer art she was watching, Twilight's dance was one of an angel, it almost made her cry, the princess was wonderful, soon Twilight's dance was over so Octavia tuned up her cello and waited to be called up next, their was a little intermission and soon she went up and sat down in a chair that they put down for her and performed for the huge audiance in the stadium.
Octavia played from memory as best as she could as she tried to remember her notes since she had been told not to bring them, as she perfromed she saw that the audiance stared in amazement and that encouraged her to continue.
Octavia hoped that she wouldnt make any mistakes and to her suprise she didnt, she has played this tune before so that probably contributed to her memory of the song that she was playing.
Octavia did the best as she could, she serenaded the audience and possibly impressed them, soon she was done and the audience applauded, Octavia bowed and soon left as she was feeling very tired, she went home and fell into bed. After she got in bed she fell asleep for a few hours since she had tired herself out from her performance, she dreamed about how graceful Twilight looked while doing ballet and dresmed about her own performace, it had been a good night for her so she looked forward to performing somewhere else that she would be called to perform at as she looked forward to seeing Vinyl about it she couldn't wait for tomorrow so she could talk to Vinyl about the amazing night that she had when she performed.
