//-------------------------------------------------------// Star Whirl the Winged -by HalfNotes- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Office //-------------------------------------------------------// The Office It was a rainy afternoon and the sun was setting, lighting the gray clouds to a shade of yellow-orange. A filly made her way to Mrs. Cherry Blossom's office. Her hoof quietly knocked on the wooden stable door, and the metal handle lit up a shade of blue. The filly's eyes timber eyes light up to see a tall unicorn mare with a long, light pink mane. Her green eyes glanced at the filly, one blade of hair covering the right. Her highlights seemed to glow in the ray of sunshine, the green lighting up the grass. Her furry light red coat shone through the gray darkness of the building. She seemed like a mare who would be hyper and active, but she was very...well, organized. She squinted down at the young mare and pulled her in. Her voice was sweet, like the honey sap from Willow Tree the filly gets in the morning. "May I ask your name?" The filly gulped and looked in the mare's gentle eyes. The filly answered a soft whisper, "Star Whirl" Star Whirl glanced away. She knew that the mare would call the Ponyville police before doing anything to take her away, but instead she grabbed a pen. "And how may i help you?" She muttered, setting one hoof on the table to hold the crisp, white paper. The floating ink pen caught Star Swirl's attention. "Oh um, i need to speak with Princess Celestia. By, um, any chance, could you get a hold of her?" The mare looked surprised. She looked the filly with a flared look. "Now, what would a filly want with a princess?" Star Swirl gulped. Then she lowered her eyes, flaring back. "That is none of your business! Just get her here!" The filly stopped her hoof on the leather chair. Cherry Blossem glanced at the black wired phone on the wall. "Okay, then" She dialed the numbers and spoke, gentle, kind words. Unlike she did with Star Whirl. It's like the princess had full respect for everypony. They didn't for witch other ponies. Star Whirl sighed, glancing at Cherry Blossom. "Well, the Princess is on her way here. She will speak with you in there," The mare's hoof pointed to a brown door door with a golden handle, stating the words "Staff only". Though this office was once a supermarket, she still should have put "Office". It seemed as if more miserable ponies worked there, but all that was there was dim gray walls, wood flooring, black leather chairs, pictures, and a wooden desk. Star Whirl thought it was the same thing in the Office room. A sudden knock awoke her thoughts. She glanced out the cold, wet window. A golden carriage with 2 stallions attached awaited the Princess. Celestia walked in, slowly, with a bright smile on her face. "Hello, and whom do i owe this visit to?" Star Whirl was happy to see a friendly place in such a cruel, dark, building. Star Whirl jumped down and smiled. "Me, your highness," The princess smiled and nodded. They walked into the room, and Star Whirl was right. The cruel images set back into her mind. "So  princess?"  The princess smiled. "Yes, how can i help you?" Star Whirl gulped. She was nervous to ask the princess such a thing of nonsense, but it was worth a shot. "I want to become a unicorn. I heard that you could help?" The princess flew back in her chair in shock, eyes widen. Oh no, i just messed up big time! The princess returned to normal, but her voice a little stiff with a smile. "Now little Star Whirl, you're a pegasus, and you need to stay that way. You have duties to do up there, not down here." After she said that, she left. Star Whirl was mad. The Princess couldn't even help her! She'll never get her cutie mark in magic now! SHE WANTED IT! SHE NEEDED IT!
