//-------------------------------------------------------// Alterantion of Fate -by kench204- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Prologue part 1 Long ago in the land of Equestria a land scarred by war and destruction sure it has recovered, but the damage has been done. Anyways The Royal Sisters were to engage the Evil King, but little have they known that the king was alone. The Great fiend appeared and defeated the Sun Princess while the dark lord corrupted the Moon Princess forcing the injured Sun Princess to retreat. Chapter 1 "Why did you stop?-" A yellow pegasus filly with a white mane and a nightcap on her head asked while in her bed next to a light blue unicorn stallion (with blue mane with orange tips) was reading a book to her, "-What happened to the princess?" "It is getting late-" the stallion answered, “-from what I know the princess may return." "Are you sure?" the filly asks the stallion. He says while tucking her in, "Well, we are still alive aren't we, sorry for ruining the ending." "It okay, goodnight Tem-tem," said Dazzling Gleam. Temporal responses, "Goodnight Dazzling Gleam." After the blue stallion leaves Dazzling Gleam's room and shuts the door, he turns around to see an orange pegasus mare (with a yellow mane with red tips). "So is she asleep, Temporal?" she asked. Temporal answers, "I don't know Gale; I left her room after saying goodnight to her." "Well we have to go meet with the cart first," Gale whispered loudly. She grabs Temporal's hoof and pulls him out of the inn, and into the yak-drawn cart At a keep perched on one of the cliffs on the lower portion of the mountain, a cart enters through the gates carrying crates upon crates of supplies, which begins to be inspected by the guards. A light grey pony in black armor approaches one of the yaks pulling the cart. "Before we start gorging ourselves on cider and hay, our Lord wants to see your document of tonight's shipment-" After saying that the delivery yak handed him the paper, and after looking at it for a while he said, "-Alright lets place these in the cider hall for later, and if I see a single drop enter your muzzle well I hope Estrago hears a good reason for it." After the barrels were placed inside the room holding a plethora of barrels the guards left the room, one cork quietly pops out from the barrel. A quiet voice came from it saying, "I think it's clear." Two ponies dressed in dark clothing exiting from the two hallow barrels. One of them heads towards the only door was in the room they are currently in. One of them slowly opens than to take a peek. The female thief whispers, "The coast is clear." The two thieves sneak around the hall and look around each corner until they see a door guarded by many guards. "Psst, do you have our secret weapon," one of them whispers, and uncorks a bottle quietly and pours out releasing blue smoke enveloping the guards, who struggle to stand up, but they all in short time fall to the ground. One of the thieves grabs the keys and pretends to tip his non-existent hat to the guards, and the two head to the treasury. The next day at a different keep which is a bit higher than the other one, Temporal and Gale placed eight pouches filled with bits and jewels onto the table, "A job well done right your lordship,-" announced Gale to a griffon (Grizzal), "-now how much does this cover." He grabs one of the filled pouches with his claws and shakes the bag, and Grizzal laughs. "Still not enough to pay what you both owe, quite a shame you were so close," Grizzal taunted in a condescending tone. Gale has gotten angry from the remark he made before she tackles him, Temporal grabs her, and he tries to diffuse the situation. "Now, now let’s not try to get ourselves killed, how many more of these 'jobs' before our debt is paid off." "See why can't you be like your brother, he at least can control himself, anyways all you have is one more 'job' to do, however, I have to negotiate with the other lords about security till then be here next week," he loudly boasted. “Unbelievable! Can you believe that jerk?-" Gale shouted as she along with Temporal exit Grizzal's keep, "-Seriously, we put our time into helping him for what, not even enough to last a week at the inn." "Yeah, but I prefer to keep my head on my body, remember those with money have power and those who don't are those used to, I don't know where I was going, but he is rich; we are not," Temporal spoke. Gale sighs in defeat after hearing what her brother said, "Maybe I just hope the last job is true." The two begin to trot through the lively town filled with merchants and crowds of various race and species, and they passed through them as they approach the train station and entered the train. "I just wish both living and eating here wasn't so pricey, out of all things we still have to pay for the trip here and back," complained Gale after taking her seat. Temporal takes his seat as the snack cart slowly passes the rows of the train car until it reaches him. Temporal requests while hoding a four bits on his hoof, "Give me and my sister two of your cheapest snacks," which the cart owner takes and place four small lollipops took their place. "So much for a fancy lunch," Temporal remarked. Gale takes one of them, "Well at least it is better than nothing." Later as the two left the train as it made it to their stop, which is a small town. Gale asks, "So what is the plan after our job is done with him?" "When we get home I have something to ask," Temporal spoke. "Why not now it’s not like anyone would care," his sister remarked. As the two ponies leave the station Temporal remarks, "Well, our gilded-armor friends might disagree." Near them, a couple of guards stood there, "We are here to escort you in the name of our master." Gale responds with hostility in her tone, "You could tell him that we could head home on our own and to use those swords and shove up his..." Before she could finish her brother interrupts, "I must apologize for Gale, she is a bit grumpy around those in armor and very sharp weapons." "Work on that temper of yours otherwise you tossed into the dungeon to rot," One of the guards said. Meanwhile in the recently robbed keep, two griffons, one them being Grizzal trotting across the hallway leading from the treasury. "I can't believe you were robbed," Grizzal announced. "I know, how would Estrago react after this, I know I could lie to him, you know he won't miss a few coins," said the other griffon. Grizzal pulls the griffon to him and he tells him, "Oh, *wince* I wouldn't say that I have heard from our fair prince would not like that, you know what would happen if you lie to him, after all, he might replace you for someone else or worse, but hey it was your idea, it has been nice knowing you." The griffon gets on his knees and begs to Grizzal, who did nothing but smile at his victim's dismay, however, black smoke starts gathering around the two and a sky blue bird flying to one of the torches both putting out the flame and freezing it as it lands on it. The smoke soon forms a dark grey unicorn with a black mane and blue eyes the two stood there motionless to the unicorn that appeared before them. "So this is what I see before me, not even a bow to me, so does my position to the throne mean nothing to you," said the dark pony. Before the griffons could have said anything a voice boom behind the unicorn, "Hi baby brother!" the voice came unicorn only a bit lighter in color. "Hi Estrago-" the other unicorn said in a dull tone, "-Can you please stop calling me that?" Estrago jokes in his cheerful tone, "No can do Sudario, it is against my law as brother cares about my siblings no matter what." Sudario just sighs with his hoof on the gap between his eyes. Estargo continues, "So did you come here for the party?" “No I have heard that someone is robbing my brother and he is just throwing money to the recruitment center to find the thieves rather than finding them out,” Said Sudario. “Well they kind of good at their job all that guards could find is slumber powder, no magic trail, no feathers, not even a strand of mane or tail,” said Estrago. After hearing that Sudario realized something that was said, “My, our little thieves know not to leave a piece of evidence they are quite professional, but why to replace the guards?” Estrago answers, “Well I heard that the guards were lazy, but given the evidence, I am not sure.” After hearing that Sudario grows a devilishly wicked smirk on his face. Meanwhile back in town, Temporal and Gale are still being escorted by the guards, until the twins see an old mare in a dirty brown hooded robe being attacked by two thieves (one minotaur and an earth pony). "Hey, guards there is someone being mugged why don’t you do your jobs and stop ‘em,” Gale spoke. One of the guards responds, “Our orders are to escort and to protect you two not to deal with the vermin, such as them.” After hearing that Gale was on the verge to attack the thieves until Temporal stops her. He says slyly, “Hey now they are just doing their job let’s just take this shortcut I sure it will be fine.” After Temporal said that he began to trot through the alley with the old mare in it with his sister to follow suit. “You do realize this is a very dumb idea Temporal,” Gale whispered In return Temporal whispers as well, “Hey now we are just gonna see how good they are at their job completely different from us getting our hooves dirty.” As Temporal pushes one of the thieves into the other. “Hey watch where you are going you, idiot!” the minotaur thief yelled. “Go this doesn’t involve you I could handle this myself,” said the old mare. The minotaur punched her down before she gets punched again Gale dashes in front of the old mare, however, the guard tackles the thieves to the ground. "Are you okay?" asked Gale as she helps her up. "I said that I didn't need your help, you troublesome nobles!" the old mare shouted. "Told you they will stop them, but we are in sooooo much trouble for it,-" Temporal remarked as Gale glares at him with an annoyed glare, "-Besides can't afford to pay them to leave us alone." The old mare got up and trots off away from the alley after the guards dealt with the muggers. "You're lucky that Grizzal wants you two unharmed otherwise you will like them," grunted one of the guards. "Hey we are sorry I thought I could speed up this escort," complained Temporal. The other guard response, "Well you are wrong." After hearing that Temporal says nothing, and they all head off. As the group makes to the inn, the guards left the two. “Another successful night, and yet our work does not matter with how much we make working for that griffon, he take us for granted,” the guard pegasus complained. As the two enter, a small filly jumps towards them with a smile on her and a pointy hat on her head. “Tem-Tem and Gale are home!” Dazzling shouted. The owner of the inn replies, “Yeah, the two are back from work, I just wish to come back earlier." Temporal says, “Sorry, but we were held up a bit by some muggers and you know how good the royal guard is good at being there, not for stopping the problem.” “Save it, just get ready for the shift would you.” Said the innkeeper The twins agreed and got into uniform and the owner and his daughter head out to another room of the inn. Later that night, Gale is sitting on the roof of the inn she and her brother are staying at, staring off to the distance. "Found you Gale!" shouted Dazzling Gleam, in which Gale turns around. she says jokingly, "Shouldn't you be in bed." "The same goes for you too, huh sis," -Temporal joked while climbing up to the roof- "sheesh it's easy for two since you both can fly." "Tem, what are going to do after this?" Gale asked and the stallion looked her in confusion. "After what?" Temporal asked "*sighs in defeat* nothing that you need to worry about," Gale said calmly while patting her head. Temporal shouts, "I have an idea! Well since we will be done working with Grizzal, let's talk what would our future holds, Gale what are going to do if you were rich." "Isn't it obvious I would fly out and join the resistance, what about you Temporal." "Well it may sound sappy but to live a life of peace and prosperity settle down and well be ordinary," Temporal replied. Gale chuckled, "I didn't know you were that sappy..." "Wait! what about me," -Dazzling Gleam interrupted- "I want Tem-Tem and Gale to stay." After hearing that tears forms around the filly's eyes. Temporal says, "Well could always visit this place." "You promise?" Dazzling cried and the two nod in agreement to the filly's joy. The two nod in agreement and Temporal says, "It's getting late, all of us have a bright tomarrow to look forward to." Meanwhile, at Estrago’s castle, Sudario was interrogating the guards in a dark barely lit room in it were two chairs, a candle, and a table. Sudario's bird perches itself on top of the chair glaring at the guard with its icy cold eyes. Sudario slams his hoof on the table and says “So tell me how did you fall asleep when all night royal armed forces are required to take any means of staying awake from endurance potions to just sleeping during the day.” “I don’t know your highness one moment I was awake and our endurance potion shipment was gone as well just tough it out and then I was asleep,” The guard spoke worriedly as the room grew darker and black smoke begins to seep out from Sudario's body beginning to engulf the table. "So who usually sends the shipment," he said in a really restrained tone. "It was Lord Grizzal, sire!" shouted The nervous guard. After hearing that a toothy grin appeared on the face of Sudario, "I guess Grizzal's invitation just got better for us." Author's Note This is my first attempt at writing a story, so write in the comments on how to improve, if it isn't up to snuff //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 The next day, Temporal pulls a huge bag from under one of the two beds. After pulling it out Gale bags into their room. Gale asks, "Hey Tem are ready for work yet? uh, what is in the bag?" "Well you see I keep a secret stash, I even snuck some extra bits in my suit," Temporal answered as poured out an assortment of jewels and coins "I can't believe you steal from Grizzal, nice-" Gale complemented, "-so how much did you take?" "...ty five, ...ty six, ...ty seven-," mumbled Temporal "-ah horse apples! We still do not have enough for a small carriage to take us to another town." "Well, there is tonight's job, unless you another hidden stash to sell," said Gale. Temporal shakes his head, "Sorry, I don't have anything to sell unless the clothes of our backs count, then no plus used clothes don’t make much in short amount." After the two finished talking they heard a hoof stomping outside their room and down the stairs. “Hey Temporal get down your break was over ten minutes ago-” yelled the innkeeper, “-the last thing I need is a freeloader, who is skipping out on his job!” Temporal shovels the pile of bits into his pillowcase as quickly as he could with Gale's help, "Oh yeah, that was the reason I came up here." Temporal glares at his sister for that remark as he shoves the pillow under his bed, "You know how to get under my skin do you." "Who else but family," Gale joked Temporal trotted out of the room, and Gale followed suit. As the two made it down the stairs they see the old mare from yesterday entering the inn. "Hey you're that ha...-" before Gale could finish Temporal kicked her front leg, "- ow!" Temporal asks, "Sorry for my tactless sister, she was wondering why are you here?" "Well I need somewhere to stay for the night, after going from one town to the next, but I tend to grow tired," said the old mare. Temporal clops his hooves together and says, "Alright, what can we do for you?" The old mare asks in a calm tone, "Are you familiar with the resistance, I heard rumors that they might be in town." After hearing that the innkeeper shouts, "We wish that those crazed warmongers to not be here and I hear that they are here of all places!" "Now, now dear-," his wife tries to calm him down, "I am sure they are just rumors." "You're right dear, it's just that what happened fifteen moons (years) ago and it was not the best news to hear the resistance only brings nothing but trouble." "They can at help at times, but unfortunately it comes at a cost not many can afford,-" said the old mare, "-I just wish that both they and the empire could control themselves." Temporal looks at the clock and asks, "Hey boss is okay for me and Gale to get off at four, come on we will pay both in full along with a quarter for next month's rent?" The innkeeper responses in a calmer tone before the resistance was brought up, "very well just be here no later than the ninth (today's date is the twenty-seventh), if you two want the night off." As the twins head out the door, they are stopped by Dazzling Gleam grabbing one of Temporal's hind legs, "Tem-Tem doesn't go I had a bad dream of you and Gale in trouble." It catches the old mare's attention and she rubs her chin with her hoof "Don't worry it's just a dream, who knows tomorrow Gale might be a potato tonight," He replied, to which made Dazzling Gleam laugh. After doing so the twins head out with saddlebags and suitcases on their backs. After the twins entered the train they opened the suitcases to see a fancy suit and an elegant dress properly folded and stuffed into the cases. "Wow! he really went all out for us!-" Shouted Temporal as he lifted the suit with his magic, "-huh what is this?" He lifts a mask and a bottle that says masquerade potion and looks at Gale's case to see the same thing: a fancy outfit, a mask, and a bottle. "Hey Tem do you have a plan since we don't have any sleep dust this time?" asked Gale. Temporal replies, "Well let's not worry he usually leaves a plan somewhere in these cases." After saying that Gale finds an envelope in her dress and opens it too, which they smile at it. Later at the castle entrance, two ponies in fancy garments approach the door pony, one of them is red unicorn with a cream-colored mane, in a black suit with matching top hat and a blue face mask holding a black cane, and the other was a peach-colored pegasus with a violet mane in an elegant white dress with a blue face mask holding a white fan. "Greetings my fair door pony, what-tith bring-ith we come from a far gracious and our kind-hearted Prince Estrago!-" announced the red pony in a posh tone, "As guests of Lord Grizzal, himself!" The peach pegasus face hoofs in embarrassment, "Pardon my brother. he tends to make everything a bad one pony show at these events." The two handed him their invitations, he motions to the ballroom nearly filled with different creatures chit-chatting with one another and upon the white split staircase and a strong column is a large platform with a long table placed upon it hosting the selected nobles and ladies that show high favor to Estrago, and Grizzal. Black smoke started to enter above the large table and descended to a fancy looking chair, as the smoke sits in the chair a figure forms from it to be Estrago. "Sorry I am late to this get-together but I was heavily busy with certain plans, but that doesn't mean you can't party without the prince!-" announced Estrago, "and don't you worry we shall provide for everyone here what we can!" In the crowd, the peach pegasus whispers to her brother, "Out of all the royalty in our town I kind of think He is the least self-absorbed out of nobles here." "Okay time to start the mission, Gale, I mean Ebony Breeze," whispered the red unicorn "Got it, Midnight Breeze,-" Gale replied quietly, "- Don't pull that again." Midnight Breeze (Temporal) nods and heads over to the buffet table scouting out the room while tasting the food, leaving Gale by herself surveying the other half of the room. as she proceeds through the room; she bumps into a regal blue unicorn stallion with a flowing red cape and a yellow mane unintentionally knocking her to the floor. He looks at her with his light blue eyes to see that she bumped into him, and helps her up. "My aren't we careless around here," He chuckled in patronizing tone. "Sorry, but I wasn't able to walk around ya and your bribable crowd, your poshness," Gale remarked to which the crowd gasped. The unicorn says, "I can see you don't care about rank yet you are quite confrontational, I could have fun with you." Gale replies, "As long as ya keep hooves or magic where I can see them." The ballroom music begins to play throughout the room The unicorn extends his hoof to Gale, "Care to dance mil' lady?" Gale answers, "Only if you tell me your name, by the way, my name is Ebony Breeze." "My name is Majestic Crown," He answered. The two waltz together on to the dance floor, as the two locks at one another Crown's light-blue eyes and Gale's green eyes. He moves his face close to hers, but as Gale tries to back up, she slips on her dress however Majestic catches her with his hooves. "You sure are pretty cute in my hooves." Gale blushes after that compliment, "Let go of me." "Not without a kiss first," He answered "What!?!" "Just kidding come on learn to joke,-" the unicorn laughed as he returns her to the ground, "-I don't kiss a mare after one dance." Gale complains, "Jeez, you're just as bad as my brother." "Oh you have a troublesome brother as well Miss Breeze," said Crown with piqued interest Temporal observes as the two dance, "All according to the note for the most part, okay I can make this plan work just stay in character," he whispers to himself. Temporal approaches a guard, "Excuse-th me, I require the location to-eth the nearest restroom to wash-ith my face?" "Uh down this hallway to your right," the guard answered uncomfortably. Temporal tips his hat and heads down the hallway. He makes it to the restroom, and looks around, it was both very clean and pristine. Temporal undresses from his suit to reveal his thievous attire. "Help-eth I uh, slipped and got my hoof stuck in the toilet I requireth a guard to help-eth me!" A guard pony rushes through the door and saw nothing until the door creeks shut and Temporal jumps out and puts a bottle with blue powder over the guard's muzzle. After smelling it the guard fell asleep. "Goodnight you're going ta need it," Temporal whispers as he takes the guard's badge. Meanwhile, at the ballroom, Majestic and Gale were talking about their siblings. "I can't believe your brother has dragged you here too," Gale laughed while fanning herself "Yeah, by the way where is that brother of yours Miss Breeze?" asked Crown. "Oh he went toooooooooooo, the bathroom I'll go get him," Gale said nervously as she leaves as fast as she could. After Gale leaves the ballroom, Estrago sits amongst a table six of his most loyal of his lords, along with Grizzal and an empty chair next to him. "Nice dance wouldn't you say your princelyness," remarked Grizzal. To which Estrago sighs and says, "Sure was, I just wish Sudario was there, but I know how he would go at it." Sudario pop through the dark mist with a bottle in hoof and says, "Yep, not so fond of it, I was busy getting you the freshest drink straight from New Yakyakistan from my luggage." "Oh fine wine, you shouldn't have, it's unlike you to get us a gift from such a location of any gift to anyone outside of the family," said Estrago. Sudario uncorks the bottle and pour every creature a glass with a sinister grin on his face. "To the law and order of the Darkmist Empire!-" announced Sudario while levitating a glass, and all those around Sudario drink their wine, "so dear brother how is the wine." "Tsk tsk, it is suprisingly bitter,-" said Estrago with the yellow iris of his eyes glowing green, after saying that he gasps because he didn't mean to say that, "- Brother what did you put in this wine." Sudario says after sipping his wine, "Sorry dear brother I didn't wish to make you an example my methods, but you were needed to speak the truth to me,-" his eyes were glowing green when he spoke. Grizzal after hearing that looks at his trembling now empty wine and then he looks towards the princes as Sudario begins to approach him. "Hey Lord Grizzal tell me everything," Sudario demanded. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 After the two thieves changed their formal attire to something more stealthy, they noticed the huge lack of guards roaming the halls, until they reached a T-shaped fork going left and right. Temporal stops Gale to look around the corner of each path to see no creature around any corner. "Gale does something seem off or is this the easiest job we have gotten ourselves into?" asked Temporal. To which Gale replies, "Well we can't go back otherwise we will be stuck with him for even longer." "Point taken," Temporal answers in a hushed tone. As the two go through the hallway full of doors Gale pulls a marble with an arrow in it from her pocket, the two examine each other as the arrow points away from some of the doors, until it pointed at one of the doors. Temporal slowly puts the lockpick in the lock of the door as Gal looks to see if any of the guards show up. After he unlocked the door, he signaled Gale over to him and slowly opens the door to see piles of coins, gem, and gold items on the floor. "Wow, who knew how messy Estrago is with his treasure," Temporal whispered. "Who cares grab as much as you can before any creature notices we're here," Gale loudly whispers as she stuffs one of her pouches with bits. Temporal chuckles to himself while stuffing his bag with bits, and he pulls a sword with golden hilt still in its gem-encrusted scabbard, "Well I wonder how much this worth, but alas it is too big to sneak out with." Before he could place it on the ground something burst out of the pile of coins, it was one of the guard ponies. "Halt criminal scum!" he shouted and more guards burst out from the pile of coins, as well as the door to the treasury. A black unicorn with a light blue cape trots into the room with the guards letting him through, "Well well well I see this trap of mine worked out quite well." "Prince Sudario, this plan of yours was brilliant," said one of the guards. "Sudario, as in the sinister strategist," Temporal thought to himself. "Oh please, all I did was place some of the security in the treasure and let these mongrels into this very room," Sudario boasted. Gale charges at him with all her might, but Sudario knocks her back with a beam of magic from his horn. "How barbaric-," he mocked while dusting himself off, and Temporal tries to blast him with the same spell Sudario used on Gale, but it stopped by a coin Sudario lifted from the ground, "- not bad you can hit a coin, but not me." Temporal tries to do it again, but Sudario motions the guards to surround the two, as the guards get closer to the two, spears drawn closing in on the twins, as they back up to the wall. "Well, this is the end of us," Temporal thought to himself. "Do you wish for your story to continue?" A voice echoed through Temporal's ears as everything room freezes in place. Temporal wonders where that voice came from, "Huh, how come everything stopped?" "Time is running short do you wish to continue?" "If it means me and sister live then yes," Temporal answered. "From this day forth you two shall be bestowed with a different power of guardians" After doing so time has returned to normal and the guards draw closer to them. "Brother!" Gale shouts as she jumps into the and her wings burst into flames, with a trail of fire following her. The guards stepped back from her and the flames she emitted from her wings. "Your highness what is that?" one of the guards asked in a panicked tone. Sudario snarls, "Doesn't matter get them!" Temporal stares at what his sister has done, "How did you do that?!?" "I don't know I thought only to protect you and fwosh firey wings!" she shouted. Gale quickly lifts her wings and a few feathers flung from her and explode surprising everyone, herself included. So he begins by closing his eyes and strains himself, as he stops he opens his eyes to see a ball of magic floating on his horn, as he tries to shoot the bubble off his horn, however by doing so it created a huge beam heading towards Sudario, but he barely avoids it as the beam fills most of the doorway making holes through the walls. After firing that beam, Temporal nearly collapses to the ground; panting with one hoof on his head. "Brother are you okay?" asked Gale flying to him, without noticing her wings were no longer on fire, but now her peach-colored wings were visible. Temporal replies, "Only a loss of balance, I wish it wasn't the end for us." The guards grab their spears and charge towards the twins cautiously. "So not only we captured a greedy lord and a couple of thieves, but two guardians as well,-" Sudario gloated, "-we'll make sure the alicorn princess is found and you are executed painlessly as possible." After saying that, A ball of light dashes straight to the room they were in, and as it stops the ball changed shape to that of an alicorn and flashes them with a blinding light. The alicorn grabs the twins and runs off with them. Sudario uncovers his eyes to see that the thieves were gone, "Guards find them they couldn't have gotten too far from us!" Meanwhile, in a different part of the castle, the twins and the alicorn are hiding in the pantry with two tables blocking the door. After propping a second table Temporal asks, "First question who are you? Second, how did you do that whole glowy everything?" Gale looks to the pale yellow alicorn with a white mane and a brown cape and gasps, "Te... I mean Brother do you know who this is? She's Bright Feather." "You are correct young mare, I see you know of my work" Bright Feather replied. "Yeah, you are one of the greatest heroes of the resistance, you stopped King Longhorn and his gang a day before Prince Eclipse showed up; only leaving one of her feathers behind as a calling card," said Gale. "Yeah, less fangirling more escaping we only have one window not one of us can fit through a blocked door and jars of preserved food," Temporal remarked and eats a pickle from the jar he lifted. "Unicorn blast a hole through that wall!" Bright Feather loudly whispered with her hoof pointed straight at a wall. After hearing that Temporal whispers back, "I don't think my magic can break that wall down with my magic, plus last I check I am not aware of how high we are from ground level." "Either you trust me or not I know unlike yourself I don't fear death," Bright Feather snaps. Temporal say nervously, "Well it's do or die." He tries to prep himself similarly to how he was before until he heard something slamming into the door startling him to the point where he blasts a hole in the wall leading outside of the castle however it was three floors above the ground. Bright Feather then shoves the two out and proceeds to jump out as well. Gale grabs hold of her brother and flies away from the castle and sees a glider unfolds from the back of Bright Feather. Meanwhile back in the castle, Sudario busts into the pantry along with some guards and proceed to search the room. "Your highness, we can't find anything and they took a pickle jar," announced one of the guards. Sudario finds a peach feather on the ground, and he begins to smile sinisterly, "No worries I found everything I need," The feather then changes back to its orange color.
