Just another random, terrible fic of mine. 😂 I don’t have the best stories.
I wanted to post this on Christmas Day but I was on vacation and I might’ve forgotten. I guess Happy New Year?

Dreams of Cute and Snuggles
T’is the night before Christmas. And you’re in for a wonderful dream.
During your blissful sleep, waiting for Christmas Day to come, you think of the wonderful things you’ll be doing. You’re goin to visit your parents, of course, have a nice feast and all, and of course even for your age, you have presents to receive and freak out over.
Now a College student, you’ve gotten more mature. But, something prevented you from stopping your childish imagination.
A few years ago, you were introduced to the cutest filly in the whole wide world-Flurry Heart. It was a very special experience that you treasured greatly. You never told anyone about it, not even your parents. You kept that memory all to yourself. But all fun times end at some point- After having fun, cuddling, and even having a bit of a fight, you and Flurry were once again separated miles apart from each other.
But you didn’t let that stop you from knowing more about her.
You started to pick up on this series, “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic”. You fell in love with the series in a short period of time. Though not a big spender on merchandise, you still love watching the show now and then, making your friends give you strange looks. But that never mattered to you, since you’re just finding an excuse, really, to see Flurry Heart.
You don’t want to forget her. Her stay was short, but it gave you a lifetime of fun and happiness.
And frankly, it seems like she doesn’t want to, either.
************
**thud**
Your eyes open as a ball of floof hits your face. You are sleeping on clouds. Endless fields of fluffy clouds. So, getting hit with a ball of cloud doesn’t hurt so much. Getting up slightly and looking around you, there was nothing to be found. Literally just fields of clouds as far as you can see under a purplish night sky.
You get up and start walking around. You feel cool and every step is a pleasant, squishy experience. You have no idea why you’re here, and what you’re doing here.
You feel a tap on your back.
“Do you remember me?”
It was a female’s voice. You turn around, and come eye-to-eye with a familiar figure. You recognize her traits- The white pinkish fur, the purple and blue mane, the beautiful wings and horn, and her gorgeous eyes. Though, she looks different since you last saw her- She’s taller, and she can speak, even. She has a mark on her flank, which was a cutie mark. It seems to be a heart with magic swirling around it or something.
“Perhaps if I...”
The figure turns into a filly. It’s then you realize it must be her.
“*smiles* Flurry Heart?”
She turns back into a full grown pony and nods at you. She gives you a loving hug as she stands on two hooves. You return the action, leaning into the embrace. It has been a long while since you’ve last seen your favorite pony and friend. She looks very different than what she used to be. Flurry Heart smiles wider and wider as you give her a nuzzle- Something she always liked.
“*sniff* I missed you,” You cry.
“Me too.”
You both let go with a chuckle, sit down, and start to talk.
“Long time no see, I guess,” You giggle with a blush. “Looks like you’ve grown a lot, Flurry.”
She laughs.
“Hey, you know this is only a dream, right?”
“Hm? What do you mean?”
“Well, Yes, I’ve grown a bit now as it’s been a while since we last saw each other, but not this much in a few years, come on. But, if you want to know why, basically, we have a princess that can enter ponies’ dreams, and-“
“Princess Luna.”
“Oh? How’d you know?”
You pat her head and rub your hand on it.
“You said it yourself, it’s been a few years. I’ve been learning a lot about you guys. I’ll spare the details since you wouldn’t understand anything I say but yeah, just take it as if I know everything about you guys.”
She giggles.
“Okay, I’ll cut to the chase then,” She says. “Princess Luna and my mother were talking about something the other day. I guess it must have been what we’re doing now. *giggles* I gotta go thank her for setting this up as my Hearth’s Warming gift.”
“So you’re telling me we’re sharing a dream right now?”
“I guess so? Even I don’t know.”
Both of you laugh.
“Well, dreams don’t last forever, Flurry. I’m guessing we have... 6 hours or so until I wake up? So until then, I’ll be here to stay with you.”
You pull her into a hug.
“*giggles* You’ve grown a lot too, but I’m glad you still like me,” Flurry says.
“You too,” You giggle as you let go. “By the way, how do you even speak right now, exactly? And how are you fully grown? I have way too many questions!”
“Oh, it’s simple,” Flurry explains, “One word- Dreams.”
“Huh?”
“Duh! It’s a dream! Anything can happen in my dreams!”
“Ahhhhhh. Right. I’m stupid.”
“Aw, don’t say that,” Flurry gives you a nuzzle on your shoulder. “Also, I may not be able to speak, but I can think with my mind. I have a lot of thoughts going on in my head and since we’re in a dream, and from what I know from Luna, dreams are thoughts in your head while you sleep, and you imagine you are in it. Because of this, I can speak with my thoughts in dreams.”
“I see,” You reply. “Is that the reason why you can turn back to a filly or just a mare anytime you want?”
“Mhmm!”
“Pretty cool. So... How is life, Flurry? Having good times with your mom and dad?”
“Oh, the usual, they still love me a lot and I love them too. We have so much fun together. I also have a lot of fun with my aunt sometimes, when they have important things to do and don’t have time for me.”
“Twilight?”
“Uh Huh! She’s the best aunt ever,” Flurry coos, squishing her cheeks. “She would always have fun with me around her castle. Her friends may sometimes be over and they like me too. Huh, it seems like every one likes me, even though I’m just a filly! I wonder why?”
“Hmmm, I don’t know, but I like you because you’re cute.”
You turn to Flurry, and start making childish noises as you tickle and gush over her. It turns into a tickle attack, and she retaliates by pulling you down with a hug. You both land on the fluffy clouds, as Flurry buries her muzzle into the embrace and nuzzle you with comfort and joy. You let out a sigh in comfort, easing yourself into the hug your companion has gave you.
It’s funny- You feel completely at home, even though you’re in a dream. The soft, fluffy clouds made for a fantastic mattress, much softer than the one back home. You proceed to unfold Flurry’s wings, and turned into your makeshift blanket as you turn to the side, allowing you to pull her close to your heart. She feels like your plushie- But this is the real deal. You snuggle with the plushie every night when you sleep, imagining yourself once more getting all snug with your cheeky filly, even hoping to have a dream with her.
And now, your wish has come true.
“*sigh* I miss your hugs.”
“*giggles* So have I, Flurry. Seems like snuggles from your mom and dad aren’t enough?”
Flurry giggles.
“They don’t really cuddle with me like you did the other day.”
“*giggles* Haha, I can say the same when I was a kid.”
“Really?”
You part away from her just a little, and nod. You both keep your hold on each other, lying on the clouds as you tell each other stories.
“You know, the best thing about childhood is the amount of love and care you get. Back when I was your age, my mom and dad really loved me too. I sleep with them every night in their warm, protective embrace. But ever since I became a teenager, I started to become independent. I kinda start to miss the old days, but I moved on from it since I thought it was a bit childish, haha.”
“*chuckle* How can you say that?”
“Mmmm?”
“Cuddling is one of my favorite things to do. I’m still just a young filly and I really love my parents, and I love to curl up in their bed as we sleep. My mother is so sweet, when my father isn’t home from work, she’d be singing lullabies to me before we sleep. The feeling of nuzzling against someone dear to you... The comfort that you give each other... It all makes hugs so great for me.”
“I can agree.”
You spend a good while to focus on the hug. You and her nudge close to each other, a warm blush taking over your face. You start to twirl and play with her mane. You rub against her body and feel her soft patch of fur. Flurry proceeds to nuzzle your nose, which you gladly return as she slides her hoof on your back.
A while later, she turns away from you and tries to escape. But you hold not her tight.
“Where do you think you’re going, Little filly?”
You give her a wink as she rolls her eyes.
“Please, I’m a little bored. I wanna do something else when we have time together.”
“What do you mean? This is great~”
“Let me out, come on.”
“Nooooooooo~”
You coo in cheer as you pull her body towards you. She keeps trying to get loose, but you wouldn’t let her since you’re enjoying the hug. Flurry moans and turns back to you, giving a wink. She rolls herself on top of you as she unfolds her wings. Annoyed about her refusing to give you her wings for comfort, you retaliate by rolling yourself over her. This turns into a weird situation of you and Flurry constantly rolling over the other in a hug playfully, laughing.
“*chuckle* Flurry, Stop it!”
“Nope! Not until you let me go!”
“Awwww... But you’re so soft and cuddly! I wanna Cuddle you all night!”
“Hmph, it’s my dream! Let me go and let me have fun!”
“Nuh-Uh!”
“Come on!”
“No way!”
The more you bickered with Flurry, the more you started to push your heads together. You both give a cold smile and let out a little chuckle as your noses squeezed together as well.
“I’m getting some deja vu, are you?” You giggle, winking.
Flurry blushes. “Yeah, kind of. Back when we first met, right?”
You nod happily.
“We were pretty naive with each other, Aren’t we?” You say, scratching your head shyly. “You messing around in my home and me getting furious at you. I was just so worried about your safety, that’s all. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings in any way. It’s frustrating when you don’t listen.”
Flurry frowns. “O-Oh...”
“Hmm?”
“S-Sorry I annoyed you, then. I was curious about everything I see, you know? When you tried to attack me, I was afraid of you and a bit mad how you won’t let me do anything. My parents won’t throw a fit like you would...”
“Sorry.”
You both let out a sigh as you pull each other close.
“H-Hey, this is a good thing to talk about,” You suggest, “Hey Flurry, how about we talk about our first encounter, Hmm?”
“*chuckles* Only If you let me go.”
You make a whining sound. “Fine. Just for you, sweetheart.”
The two of you finally let go, and shake hands and hooves to apologize for the little playful fight you two had a minute ago. You finally sit down to have a nice, casual chat with her.
“I’m curious- How do you feel about me?”
“What do you mean?”
“Flurry, you know I couldn’t understand your words back then, So I have no idea what you’re thinking through our whole encounter.”
Flurry giggles and nuzzles you.
“I see,” She says. “Well, you were pretty intimidating when you threw a fit at me like that... I did cry after you put me back in the box. I just wanted to see everything and play around. *chuckles* But I still love you, after we made up. I had so much fun with you around your house. You were a great companion.”
You nod and rub her head kindly.
“Glad I can make you happy,” You reply. “Did you actually understand all I said?”
“Mmmm, kinda, for the most part.”
“Huh, Interesting. Moving on... Flurry, I had fun with you too. It was cool to interact with babies and kids again. When I was your age, I was just like you, being mischievous and playful. And I did get yelled at by my parents a lot too. But they still love me to this day. What a lovely memory you helped me to recover.”
You bring an arm over to wrap around her neck.
“See, Flurry... Parents and their children are like that. I mean, our encounter is basically the definition of what the two sides do. Children misbehaves, the parents try to stop them, and if they don’t listen, the parents yell at them. If worse, the children would argue with them too. Then the child hates their parents and don’t want to talk with them anymore. But in the end, they’ll still make amends.”
“*giggles* That’s nice to hear.”
“The point is, Flurry Heart, I know at first we were really angry about each other. You wanted to have fun and I was stopping you. I was trying to keep you safe but you wouldn’t stop. I didn’t mean to fight with you and I guess you didn’t either. Because I love seeing your face. And how can I be angry at you?”
You give her a kiss like she’s your daughter. She gasps.
“Awwww.... That’s so sweet of you...”
You give Flurry a hug. She leans into the embrace.
“I’ve missed you, little one. It’s been a few years but I never forgot the fun you gave me.”
“*chuckles* I’ve missed you too.”
She gives your cheek a kiss, making you laugh and hug her tighter. And once again, you refuse to release her from your Cuddle prison. You nuzzle her very sweetly and buried your face in her fur on her back. You don’t want to let go of the cuddly pony, and so the two of you start bickering over leaving the hug again. It lasted for a few minutes, until Flurry makes a special offer.
“How about this,” Flurry says. “I have something that I wanna show you.”
“Hm? A present, I suppose?”
She lets go and nods. She stands up and calls for someone.
“Luna! You there?”
A few seconds later a magic portal appeared under her command. Coming out of it, was another Alicorn that you’re familiar with. She was navy coloured, had a magical flowing dark blue mane, her cutie mark was a crescent moon, and she was wearing her princess amulet, with of course a crescent moon.
“Hello there,” Luna calls to you. “Are you the guest Princess Flurry Heart was talking about?”
You give a short bow.
“Yes, Indeed. Save the introduction, I know you well, Princess Luna. Now, Flurry... Where exactly are you taking me, Hmm?”
“I’m taking you to see somepony special.”
“Oh? I don’t suppose it’s...?”
“Teehee! No spoilers!”
You enter a similarly blank dream of endless clouds through a dream portal Luna has set up for you and Flurry. After walking for a while, you notice a pony lying down. In fact, she was no ordinary pony- She was another Alicorn! She had pretty detailed physical characteristics. Her mane had different colours, she was pink in colour, her cutie mark resembled some kind of crystal heart, and you can faintly see her beautiful wings when you get close to her.
Flurry nudges the Alicorn awake.
“Mom?” She coos.
The pony turns, and opens her eyes a little.
“*chuckles* Flurry Heart,” She chuckles, getting up to give her daughter a hug. “You’ve been dreaming of being a big pony again, I see?”
“Yeah,” Flurry replies. “By the way, did you set up all of this for me?”
“Mhmm, kinda. I know you’ve been thinking of seeing your friend for quite a long while and after I suggested the idea to Luna, she liked it too, so she agreed to help me bring you the best Hearth’s Warming present ever. Was it fun?”
“Of course it was! Thanks, Mom!”
Flurry tightly hugs her mother and gives her a kiss. It was then, the pony realizes your existence in the area. She lets go to come and say hi.
“Hi there,” She says, calling for you. “You’re my daughter’s friend, right?”
You nod and shake her hoof.
“Yep! And you must be Princess Cadance, Flurry’s Mother.”
She nods in response.
“I suppose Flurry took me here to let you have a chance to thank me? I thought at some point you’ll try to do so.”
“*chuckles* That’s right,” Cadance giggles. “I kinda did two things at the same time with this idea. First thing, I wanted to say thanks to you for taking care of my daughter that day, second thing, Flurry would not stop whining about wanting to see you again, and I finally found a way to let you two meet each other again!”
“*laughs* Well, glad to know you planned all of this, because I didn’t expect it. Thanks, Princess.”
You give her a brief hug, which she gladly returns.
“If you want to have a dream with her, you could always plan ahead with Flurry and she would tell me through her dreams. Luna will assist on the matter.”
“Really? That’s awesome!”
“*chuckles* Anything for my little daughter, and you too- to be happy.”
Flurry chuckles from behind as you both release the hug. Suddenly, Luna’s horn was flickering with magic, like some sort of alarm.
“Uh Oh, sorry everypony,” Luna says, “Looks like I couldn’t get this dream to last longer. In a little while, you both will be in separate dreams.”
You and Flurry gasp and hold each other.
“Wh- No!” Flurry cries, tugging you. “I don’t wanna leave you just yet! I just met you again!”
You say nothing as you watch Flurry sniffle and cry. You make a guess that she wants to keep spending time with you, and you feel the same way. You don’t want to say goodbye to her just yet. You sit down and hug her tight.
“*sigh* Flurry...” You say, giving a smile.
“Please? Stay with me? I’m not done with all I want to say!”
“*chuckles* Hey, you have to understand. Fun times don’t last forever. Every dream has to end, too. Your fun times as a filly will end when you grow up as well. But it’s how life works. And besides, we can just plan another day to talk together, no?”
She parts from the hug and nods.
“That... *giggles* That would be great. I’ll dream of something more exciting next time, hopefully.”
“Haha, I’m down. For now... Happy Hearth’s Warming, Flurry Heart. I love you.”
You give Flurry a tender kiss on the cheek, that lasted for around 5 seconds. She blushes in shyness and smiles widely when you let go. To your utter shock, she reels you in with her wings and her hooves, and kisses you on the lips. You make a surprised grunt on her assault, but she just laughs as she just pushes you to the ground. The longer the kiss lasted, the more Cadance starts to laugh.
In said hug, Flurry refuses to let go of you. So in return, you refuse to let go of the kiss. Both of you started moaning, and this turned into a playful fight with you and her rolling around with each other locked in your embrace. At this point, you and Flurry are just about mad at each other being in the way, as Cadance and Luna dies in an uproar of laughter.
“*whines* Flurry! Let go already!”
“Hmph! Now you know how it feels! You let go so I can speak!”
“Oh, I will...”
You let go, but launch a kiss attack on her face.
“Ahahahahaha, please stop! Okay! Okay!”
She finally lets go of your embrace on you. But you smile coldly.
“SIKE! Get over here!”
*Tackles*
“Waaaaaaaaah!”
After some more playful arguing between you two, Luna finally comes up to break you two apart.
“Alright, you two,” Luna giggles, “I know you’re having fun and you’re sort of in a fight with each other right now, but I really need to shut this interconnected dream link down. My magic won’t last forever, you know.”
