The ponies of Equestria rarely approach the Spiky Mountains, and they shouldn't be blamed for that: no pony would want to get in the middle of the fierce war between the Hooffields and the McColts. There is nothing those two families of ponies want more than eliminate their rivals. That's the reason they wake up every morning, the reason they haven't moved to another valley, the reason they exist. And they won't stop fighting until flags of the same color fly on the peak of both mountains. Either red or blue.
