Everything is peacful in ponyville as always, well almost.... "Buck!"  Raibow yelled as she crashed into the ground "Rainbow, you ok?" Asked a concerned orange filly "I would be If 'someone' hadn't distracted me by yelling my name." Rainbow said clearly annoyed by the orange "B-But y-you said you would teach me how to fly today" the filly said with a hint of sadness "I don't have time to teach you how fly, I gotta keep praticing to join the wonderbolts." "b-b-but..." "Besides isn't it usually the parents job to teach their kids how to fly?" Rainbow said matter of factly At this Scootaloo froze, for she had never told anybody that she didn't actually have any parents.  She look down glumly, ears flatened, her eyes clouded in emotion. "Y-you're right I'm sorry for bothering you" scoots said in a sad appologetic tone With that she turned, ran to her scooter and took off as fast as she could.  She didn't know where she was going but she didn't care, she just want to get as far away from here as possible. After scootaloo had left Rainbow was still annoyed but slightly curious as to why her number one fan was so upset when she had mentioned her parents.  She realized that she had never actually seen the squirts parents before and that she had not told her anything about them.  Rainbow started to really worry about the little filly, 'what if she abusive parents, what if they just didn't care about her, what if...' was all she could think about.  she decided to try talking to her friends to see what they knew, and with that she was off. After a few minutes of riding she stopped somewhere outside of ponyville, it was geting dark.  All of a sudden a stallion tackled her off her scooter and started tying the squirming scootaloos' legs to her body with rope using his magic. "Hey, let me go, SOMEPONY HELP M-mmmph!..." was all she was able to say before her assaliant put duck tape over her mouth and straped on a fairly tight muzzle. "Mmmph!" she yelled The stallion  punched her in the face, before yelling "SHUT UP you little BRAT!" The stallion then picked up the struggling, crying, orange pegasus filly wih his magic, put her in a brown sack and carried her away with her muffled screams and desperate struggles at freedom. When rainbow got her friends she asked them exactly what they knew, which appearently wasn't much. "Sorry darling I don't know anything about Scootaloos parents, even Sweetie Belle doesn't know." Rarity said apoligeticly "Sorry sugarcube, ah got nothin" Applejack said The rest of the girls pretty much said the same thing, well except Fluttershy, she seemed to be a lot more quiet than she usual even for her. Finally she asked if she could talk to rainbow alone.  Rainbow being who she is, went outside to talk to Fluttershy alone. "So what exactly do you know about scoots that I don't know?" Rainbow questioned "W-Well...I...did happen to see scootaloo heading outside of ponyville on her scooter, she looked quite upset" Fluttershy said very concerned "Why exactly, are you telling me this?" "B-Becuase the best way to find out about Scootaloos' parents is to ask Scootaloo herself" Fluttershy explained 'Fluttershy does have a point' Rainbow thought, Without saying a word she headed off to find the orange pegasus filly. When Scootaloo woke up she that it was very dark except for the moonlight coming through a small window.  She thought that all that had happened was just a really bad dream, so she went and stretched her legs trying to wake herself up.  She noticed that when she moved her head she heard chains.  She quickly looked down and saw that there was a collar around her neck and metal chains attached to both the collar and the floor.  She started looking around fearfully and saw that not only was she chained to the floor but was also inside a cage. "HELP! SOMEPONY, ANYPONY HELP!" she screamed then softly said "please,help" She realized that obviously nopony was ever going to come, she sat down and cried to herself for what seemed like hours before finally drifting off to sleep Rainbow had quickly flown to where Fluttershy had last seen the orange pegasus filly only to find that the filly wasn't anywhere to be seen.  Just when Rainbow had just about given up, a light shined in her eyes but not quite from the sun.  She went toward the shiny object expecting it to just be a glass bottle or a piece of aluminium.  She stopped when she saw the twisted remains of the scooter that she had seen her number one fan often ride around.  Panick took hold, a million possible situations runing through her mind.  It only made things worse when she saw the blood and the two sets of hoof prints, one the size of a fillys the other the size of an adult most likely a stalion.  She followed the smaller tracks until they stopped at a flated patch of grass right beside the larger of the two.  Rainbow didn't know exactly what happened but one thing was for sure, something had happened to scoots.  She thought about getting the girls but decided against it for she had been the one that caused this, so really it only made sense that she should be the one to set things right. Rainbow followed the larger hoof prints deep in the everfree, then the prints were gone.  "Oh great, now how the hay am I going to find her when the tracks have stopped".  This just made rainbow more frustrated and worried.
