Gundam Build Fighters Eqg
Canterlot,the capital of Equestria, a beautiful city with dozens of the towers of glass known by the populace and most of the world, as skyscrapers. The city was bustling with hundreds of cars and other similar vehicles zipping through the cities on many streets connecting the city, and on a quiet corner of Canterlot was a humble little store. Nothing extravagant just a single large room, and a few small rooms in the back behind the simple counter with it cash register,and manning this register was a tall man with royal blue hair and eyes, and a apron over his simple jeans and white T-shirt.
The man was currently polishing a figure, which just so happens to be his main product, for this little shop was a model shop, models for the Gundam franchise. He was polishing a figure with silver blade wings long enough to reach to its ruby lined feet, it’s arms were silver while its chest was a stunning shade of sapphire with a glowing circular light,it’s head was had a golden v-shaped prongs,it had a sapphire face mask on its battle helmet shaped head.
“Well today is pretty slow,” The man commented as the finished polishing the figure and put below the counter out of sight giving the model a content smile.
The man was correct, this store had been down as it luck for a while, these models were getting more popular as were the sport surrounding it,gunpla battles. Two or more people place their model,know as gunpla,on a special computer table of sorts, then fight till one of them gives up or their gunpla is destroyed and/or unable to continue the match. The real attraction of this game was that not only were sold holographic controls made by the table able to move the gunpla in a way that perfectly mimicked their anime counterparts,but the field added effects such as explosions that felt and looked real.
The store’s door opened,causing the little bell to ring.
“Welcome!” The man at the counter said with friendly smile as a older man and his young daughter,about twelve, walked into the store.
“Alright Sweetie Belle, go ahead and pick out something for yourself, I'm going to try and find that kit your sister is always talking about for her birthday,” The man said to his daughter promoting the purple and pink haired girl to run straight to the man behind the counter.
“Excuse me mister,could help me find a Gundam exia kit?” she asked with big puppy dog eyes.
“Absolutely!” The man said walking down one the aisles, “Let’s see where did I put-Ah there it is!” He grabbed a box that showed a robot with a green glowing core with blue clamps around them, blue shoulder armour,white arms and legs with grey and red highlights,that red paint lining the feet area, a narrow shield with blue edges that only spread to across the center area,but was predominantly white. It also had a rectangle like device on one of it’s other arm.
“Exia so cool right?!”Sweetie said grabbing the box with sparkled as she looked at the box before completely nerding out, “Setsuna F. Seiei used Gundam while working under Celestial being, a organization sworn to eliminate war,by destroying all organizations of war and any who support war in any amount, although a primarily close quarters mobile suit,it was based of the Gundam Astraea making it a capable of almost any combat mission, it GN particles allow it to reduced its weight allowing it to fly or dash across the battlefield with grace and speed not found in most other suits,”
“Yea it probably one the fastest suit out there,can’t really write home about its defensive capabilities though,” The man said nodding.
“What do you mean?” Sweetie asked in confusion.
“Its true Exia is incredibly agile,but it's over reliance on close quarters highlights it weak points for a sharp eyed opponent, in certain postures its inner structure are shown from underneath its Gundanium armour, practical its main power cables,a quick opponent could take a shot or slice and take out those cables,effectively disabling the Gundam,” The man explained, “That being said that opening is quite small but that doesn't that mean you shouldn’t keep that in mind when going into battle with this Mobile Suit,”
“Huh thanks mister I wouldn’t want to learn that the hard way,” She said as they walked back to the counter.
“Okay I got it, let's get these and get going,” The Dad said putting a model kit box on the counter.
“Lets see one Exia and one Strike Freedom Gundam,that will be five hundred bits,thank you and have nice day” The man said with a smile.
“Thank you sir,and you too!” The dad said putting the boxes in a bag and walking outside with his daughter.
“Well that was something I guess,” The man said looking a bit disappointed, “Although that little girl was adorable,although I question the wisdom of letting her watch Gundam OO, and I need to stop talking to myself,”
Suddenly a blue skinned girl with white hair burst into the store, “The great and powerful Trixie demands a rematch,”
“Ugh again Trixie? You do know I have store to run,I mean just look at all these customers I’m getting,oh well I guess you leave me no choice lets do this,” The man said laughing at the antics of the younger woman.
“Trixie will beat you this time, Mr.Blade,” Trixie said fire in her eyes as they took either side of a large hexagonal table computer.
“Alright,time to put your money where your mouth is,and I’ve told you before Trixie just call me Aqua,” Aqua said rolling his eyes as he placed the gunpla he was polishing before, onto the field and putting a device into a slot on the machine. Trixie did the same the key difference was that she placed a gunpla with a head that had a single red eye, two long horns pointing perpendicular to its head, a shogun esc chest, and skirt above its legs, the gunpla was predominantly light blue but many of its highlighting was purple.
“Oh a Zeong eh? This should be interesting,” Aqua said with a smile.
“Plavsky particle dispersal on,” The computer beeped as a blue light came from the black surface of the table.
“Aqua Blade, Gundam Wing Sapphire, launch,” Aqua said.
“Trixie Lulamoon, Trickster Zeong, launching!” Trixie said with a smirk.
Suddenly Aqua was now in a black hologram background with several light blue holograms in front of him displaying various information, and two glowing spheres of the same color, He grabbed the spheres in each hand now in full control of his gupla as it ran through a forest, the sound of it joint moving together with it mechanical whirr. Aqua look though the main screen turning ever so often to look at the the screens on either side of him.
“Come on where are you,” He said gritting his teeth before tapping the left spheres bringing up two little v shaped boxes labed combat and birds mode, display a robot and a jet like vehicle respectively. He twisted it to the right cycling to the jet icon without looking down. Suddenly the Gundam jumped into the air and formed into a bird esc jet before flying into the air. It was then that a glint of light reflecting off metal caught his attention as two cables wrapped around the jet.
“Damn it she was waiting for that!” Aqua said gritted his teeth as he tried to cycle back to combat mode,but it flashed red denying the transformation, he hit the thrusters trying to pull out of his opponent’s grip to no avail. A second later electricity surged through the cords and surged through the suit.
“Shit!” Aqua said his systems began to shut down under the strain.
“I got you where I want you Mr.Blade,” Trixie taunted over her suit’s speaker as she began to reel Aqua in.
“Don’t be so sure,” Aqua said as she pulled him close to her suit and got ready to grab it, he increased the thrust output burning her suits face and causing her to let got in surprise. He quickly flew a few feet away and shifted back into his combat mode, before bringing out his large buster rifle. He fired a huge beam of energy, prompting Trixie to narrowly dodge the attack. She brought out her beam rifle and fired a while running away.
“She’s obviously trying to lead me into a trap, better be careful,” He said after he missed her legs by a inch as she had jumped to the left at the last second,allowing her escape into the forest.
He decided against flying over the forest and trying to sniper her from the sky, and carefully followed her into the forest. The forest was dark but not enough to make it impossible for him to see what was in front of him. He trekked through the forest getting tenser and tenser the deeper he went.
“Damn it Trixie show yourself all ready!” Aqua growled under his breath.
Suddenly he heard something moving prompting him to fire at the sound. The sound moved again and he fired again, over and over this happened until he finally hit it as he chased it through the forest. He rushed over to see that Trixie’s Zeong in a smoking heap with a hole through its chest.
“The suits destroyed why hasn’t the match been enden unless-” Aqua muttered before a beam of energy narrowly missed him.
He whipped around to see that he was surrounded by small funnels that started firing beam at him. He tried to fire his rifle to to destroy them,only to find he had used his last round.
“The Wing Gundam’s rifle only has sixteen charges and a full powered shot like the one you fired at me in the begging is worth six, so it was only a matter of getting you to use them all up,I guess you now seeing the downside of using such a popular mobile suit even if it is modified,” Trixie said her voice location indistinguishable.
“Clever,” Aqua smirked, “But let's talk about those modifications,” Suddenly his wings flew of his Gundam’s back and split into eight hovering blade like weapons, before firing beams of green energy and destroyed a few of the funnels.
“Shit, so your can use funnels too?” Trixie said as a few of the funnels managed to destroy a few of Aqua’s funnels. Then her zeong whirred to life,jumped up and grabs Aqua’s Gundam into a full nelson.
“Crap!” Aquas said squirming against the grip.
“Now I'll end this!” She said as her distracting had allowed his remaining funnels to be destroyed before targeting him directly.
“Didn’t want to use this the energy consumption is stupid high,” Aqua said pressing a golden circular onto the right hologram. The Gundam was covered in a coat of glowing gold light, he then easily broke the hold by smashing his head into his opponent. He cycled his right shepherd to a blade icon, a white slim cylinder popped out his Gundam’s lower calf he grabbed the cylinder and pulled it out lighting up its green energy blade. He then whipped around slicing the suit in half before cycling to a head icon, allowing him to shred the reaming funnels to scrap with his head cannons. He then grabbed the rifle from the destroyed mobile suit and fried it in the hair, destroying the suit’s flying head that was hovering from above.
“Battle end , victory Aqua Blade,” The computer chipped.
“Oh come on! I almost had you!” Trixe whined.
Aqua laughed, “Yea you did good kid, and you almost and me,too bad you obsessed with hovring up above in the same spot,”
Trixie grabbed her ruined gunpla, and said, “You just wait the great and powerful Trixe will be back to beat you,”
“See you tomorrow Trixie,” Aqua sighed in annoyance.
“Bye!” She said turning to run out of the store.
“Oh by the way Trixie how did you get the part for that Zeong?” Aqua asked.
“From the shop near that one shop that only sells Big Zam kits,” Trixie said running out.
Meanwhile with a man behind a counter with aisles s full of Big Zam kits.
“I,Dozle, have mass produced the Big Zam,now I must wait,” The man said said with crazed smile.
Back at Aqua’s shop.
“Welp guess that means, I have some competition...great,” Aqua said grabbing a broom and going outside to sweep the sidewalk.
After a few minutes of that a promotional truck for the main sponsor of the Gunpla world tournament that was held once a year, Yuy Corp, came by and the driver quickly slapped a flyer on his store’s window and drove off.
“Its annoying that they don’t ask before doing that,but at least they give me kits, in return for half the profits, they even pay any employees I hire, not that I have hired anyone, maybe I should if only to stop myself from talking to myself,” Aqua said facepalming.
“Um, excuse me did you say you were hiring?” A girl with red and yellow striped hair, as black jacket, a purple shirt with a sun on it,and tan jeans asked.
“Um yea,tell you what you come by tomorrow and we’ll see what you can do,” Aqua said after giving her a look down.
“Oh thanks, I won't let you down!” She said running off.
“Eh kids,” Aqua said shaking his head before going back inside.

Aqua was once again behind the cash register in utter boredom as the girl from yesterday, who he now knew as Sunset Shimmer, was sweeping the floor.
“Is it always this slow?” Sunset asked, looking up from her sweeping for a second.
“Ever since that bigger shop in the mall opened up, yes,” Aqua sighed.
“Wow, that sucks,” Sunset said, “How do you make money?”
“I have a few dedicated customers that don’t have time to drive all the way to the mall from here, that and I always get the new models first and that’s where I make the big bucks,Oh and my sponsorship with the tournament organizers,” Aqua said.
“So when’s that?The time you make the big bucks I mean,” Sunny asked.
“Around the holidays usually,” Aqua said shrugging.
The store went silent for a few seconds, “So um what do you think about the upcoming tournament?”
“Not really interested in that, the only person I battle anymore is Trixie and only because she is a valued customer and very determined,” Aqua said waving away the idea of him competing in a tournament.
“But wouldn’t it bring attention to your store?” Sunset asked in confusion.
Aqua was silent for a second, “ Look kid, this store is on it’s last leg, all it will take is another store to open up in this area, and I'm done,” he said before walking into the back room, Sunset running after him.
“But if you were to win the tournament, people might come to the shop thinking the models here are better than sets from anywhere else,” Sunset said.
“Okay, let's assume I have a chance to even come close to winning that tournament,” Aqua said from where he was grabbing a broom from the corner. “As soon as they find out my models are the same quality as every other store’s models, they are never gonna come back here again,”
“Well I-I guess you're right,” Sunset said sadly.
“Anyway let-” Aqua said before he heard the bell at the front counter ring.
Aqua quickly made his way to the counter and was met with a mint green skinned young man with royal blue hair and with lime green highlights and ruby red eyes. He was wearing an Aviator Bomber jacket with a white V-neck shirt, a pair of navy blue jeans, and biker boots.
“Hey do you guys carry the Barbatos Lupus Rex kits? I need some extra parts for the upcoming tournament and the other stores don't carry it,” The young man said getting a bit nervous when Sunset walked into the room and caught his attention.
“Yeah, give me a second and I'll go grab one,” Aqua said going into the back and coming back with a kit that had a Gunpla that was largely white in color with yellow on the sides of the knee joints and the gill like vents on the waist and chest, as well as on the claw like appendages and the spike protruding from the waist and the front of its feet and as well as its V-shaped attentenna.
It has red lining the bottom of his feet, it’s face guard and on the top of its crotch guard. It had a tail like fixture extending from It’s waist, as it held a large black mace in its left hand.
“Thanks,” He said pulling out a bag of coin, “Um how much,”
“Three hundred bits,” Aqua said scanning the kit and handing it to him after taking the coin.
“Thanks man,” The young man said preparing to leave when a group of three young men in punk esc clothing walked in.
“Hey you, the loser with the blue hair,” The leader said marching up to the counter, “Battle me for a free kitt!”
“Which one do you want,” Aqua asked.
“The Gundam X kitt,” He said smirking.
Aqua walked into the back and handed the kitt to the young man, to everyone's bewilderment.
“What are you-?” The punk began.
“Just take it, I don’t gunpla battle,” Aqua said with a sigh.
“Ha that was easy, i'll be back tomorrow for another one if that's the case, later loser!” The punk said before being stopped by the young man from before.
“I’ll battle you for it, I won’t let you push people around like that!” He growled.
“Who do you think you are?” one of the punks asked.
“Polished Blade, at your service. Now, you game?” He said with a smirk.
“Alright, you don’t look tough, let’s go!” The leader said smirking.
The two stepped up to the Gunpla field and and took their gunpla out of the boxes hanging from their belts.
“Plavsky particles dispersal on,” The computer beeped.
The punk leader placed a black armoured cyclops esc Gunpla on his side before placing the cellular device on the panel. While Polished brought out a modified version of the Kit he was buying before. The main differences were the blade like wings extending from the back, and it’s tail was now more like a blade like chain. It held a huge shovel like greatsword, and it had 200mm caliber rifles mounted on its forearms, while its chest was more armour than the standard version of the gunpla. The color scheme was also changed, the suit mostly now being a steel blue, its claws and hands solid gold, and white forearms and legs.
“Polished Blade, Gundam Draconis, let's rock,” Blade said as his holographic cockpit formed around him,and he placed his headset around on his head and played *when the devil rises*.
“Dusk, Shadow Gelgoog, launching,” Dusk said as the field shifted to a heavily damaged space station.
“Alright, let's see… where are you gonna come from?” Polished muttered, his Gundam whirring to life as he landed in the scarred hanger and walked deeper into the ruined space station.
Suddenly, a yellow beam of light fired out of the darkness, hurtling straight for the Gundam. Polished quickly rolled out of the way and fired from his left arm mounted rifle, as he brought his greatsword off his back. His opponent dodged out of the way of the fire, putting him in Polished’s sights.
“Gotcha!” He said hitting his thruster charging his opponent at blinding speeds. He slammed his blade into the black armoured Mobile suit, sending him flying into the wall and causing sparks to fly as the Mobile Suit’s chest sparked with electricity where the blade had cut into its armour.
“D-damn it,” Dusk said before the Gundam sliced his Mobile suit clean in half.
“Victory: Polished blade,” The computer beeped.
“Damn it!” Dusk said grabbing the two halves of his gupla and running to the door, “You’ll pay for this, all of you!”
“Sheesh, someone's a poor sport,” Blade laughed before handing the kitt to Aqua.
“Thanks, you saved me three hundred bitts,” Aqua said as he stored the kitt underneath the counter.
“Why didn’t you battle him yourself?” Blade asked.
“I don’t gunpla battle, not anymore at least, besides it's better to just give people like that what they want. Eventually, they all get bored and leave you alone,” Aqua shrugged.
“That is a really sad outlook on life dude,” Blade said giving him a weirded out look.
“It doesn't really matter if someone takes a kit or two, this shop is as good as dead, and soon I'll have to find somewhere else to get income from,” Aqua sighed, “Anyway thanks for stopping by,”
“Bye,” Blade said walking out of the store.
“Are you really going to give up so soon?” Sunset asked Aqua.
“Yep,” Aqua said with a shrug.
“If you won’t fight for this store, I will,” Sunset said looking determined.
“I’m telling you, that tournament is a waste of time, Its not gonna bring any long time customers here, anyway your an employee, not the owner,” Aqua said shaking his head.
“We’ll see about that,” Sunset said, “Mind if I use the kits in the store?”
“Sure why not,” Aqua sighed going into the back room.
Suddenly Blade ran back into the store with a pant.
“I knew I recognized him from somewhere!” Blade declared.
“Aqua?” Sunset asked in confusion grabbing a kitt from of the shelves.
“Yeah, he was the world champ five years ago, and he held the title for four years! He kinda disappeared after his Gunpla was crushed to dust by a particularly brutal opponent… isn’t that right Ruby Blitz?!” Blade shouted to Aqua who was still in the back.
The sound of something falling down in the back could be heard as Aqua ran into the main room.
“Okay kid, listen up and listen good, I don’t gunpla battle anymore , period, Ruby Blitz was grounded into dust,there’s nothing left, and I don’t plan on rebuilding it anytime soon,” Aqua said looking downtrodden for a second before saying, “I don’t have any interest with playing with plastic toys for anything but humoring Trixie,”
“Toys? TOYS? You used to love Gunpla! Anyone who watches you battle would know that, you… you were the best, you were funny, you had a way of making even a one sided fight fun to watch, and when you lost you jumped back up and kept going, but look at you now! You, the not so proud owner of a dieing store?” Blade said getting angry.
“Reality hit me, that’s what happened,” Aqua said coldly.
“BULLSHIT!” Blade said getting in Aqua’s face, “I know for a fact that one loss wouldn’t have put you down like that, hell, I’ve seen Ruby Blitz in a worse condition after a fight! So what really happened?”
“The way I see it, I don’t have to tell you shit,” Aqua said turning around and walking back to the counter.
“Alright tough guy, how about this, Lets battle, If I win you have to spill the beans, but if you win you don't have to tell me shit! Just as long as you enter the tournament,” Blade said smirking.
“Oh and why would I battle you?” Aqua laughed.
“I thought you said you would battle a valued customer, If you agree to my terms I'll buy five of your most expensive kits, and buy at least one kit every week from now on!” Blade grinned.
Aqua looked at him for a second before laughing, “Man you drive a hard bargain, alright fine... I agree to you terms, Sunny grab the little box from under the counter and toss it to me,”
Sunset compiled and they took their places at the field.
“Plavsky particles dispersal on,” The computer beeped.
“Polished blade, Gundam Draconis, let’s rock!,” Blade said grinning before thinking, “I'm going up against the former champ this is gonna be awesome,”
“Oh by the way kid, I assume that dropping out of the tournament is against our deal?” Aqua asked.
“Oh right, yeah it is!” Blade said blushing at when he realized the loophole.
“Okay, let's do this, Aqua Blade Gundam Wing Sapphire, launch,” Aqua said as the field switched to the Grand Canyon.
Aqua double checked his systems and began his search for his opponent,splashing thought the river at the bottom to the canyon that barely came up to the toe of his suit’s boot like feet.
“Okay, so he’s using a modified Lupen Rex kit, heh, a long range suit with acceptable close quarters cabiblites up against a close quarters suit with decent mid to long range capabilities, this is gonna be interesting,” Aqua chuckled, “Now wh-” suddenly a glint of light reflecting off metal caught from above him caused him to convert to his jet mode. Narrowly flying out of the way of the Blade as he slammed his blade down at the spot where Aqua was standing.
Aqua quickly reverted back to his combat mode and fired off several blasts from his beam cannon, his opponent gracefully dodging his attacks. Blade hit his thruster, dashing up to Aqua and trying to get close enough to hit him with the blade, only to instead get blasted with a full power beam from his opponents buster rifle, sending him flying back.
“Damn,” Blade cursed narrowly dodging another blast from Aqua.
Aqua landed and deployed his wing funnels, it surrounded Blade and began to rapidly fire beams at Blade.
“You know, you used to be a close quarters fighter, but now you're using a long range Gunpla? What’s up with that?” Blade asked, swinging his blade and taking out three of the funnels before firing his arm rifles, effectively destroying four more as he dodged their fire.
He swung his blade one more time,before a beam of energy sliced into his sword arm, cutting off the forearm and causing it to fall to the ground. Blade dodged by dashing backwards with his thruster, firing off several more rounds and destroying the last of the funnels but not before Aqua sliced off his remaining rifle.
Aqua then prepared to fire a beam directly into the cockpit of the Blade’s Gunpla which had now grabbed the sword in its other hand and was charging Aqua. Aqua lined up the shot and pulled the trigger, getting a clink in response, he quickly looked down seeing that his rifle was out of charges.
“Shit,” Aqua cursed dropping the riffle and drawing his beam saber. He hit his remaining thrusters to meet Blade’s charge and attempted to slice through his blade. Blade however had a different idea, not even trying to meet the beam saber in a clash he instead attempted to slice off his saber arm. He succeeded, causing the arm to fall to the ground and into the river.
“Damn it,” Aqua said hitting a gold button on his panel, his gunpla glowing gold and as he brought up his arm and charging at nearly blinding speeds.
“Take this! Shining finger!!!” Aqua said punching through the Blade’s gundam.
“Victory: Aqua Blade,” The computer beeped.
“Welp guess your going to join the tournament eh?” Blade said with a grin.
Aqua sighed, “Yeah a deals a deal,”
“Sweet! Later!” Blade said grabbing his damaged Gunpla and running out of the store.
“This is great! We can both help each other win this thing!” Sunset said excitedly, “I'll bring a friend of mine here tomorrow and we can get to work,” she said running out of the door.
Aqua watched her leave, “Wonder how long it will take til’ she realizes that her shift isn’t over yet,”
