Chapters Spiral: The Tale of The Third Kazekage
I walked down the isles of the convention for the last time as I looked around at all of the stalls and cosplayers walking down them. Many of them were dressed up as heroes such as Batman, Green Arrow, and others of the like. There were others who were famous villains and even a guy dressed up as Renamon from Digimon. I myself was a Naruto fan and have been for sometime now.
Currently I was dressed up as the Third Kazekage and had an almost perfect match for him. Even wearing the cloak from when Orochimaru revived him. Though I didn't have the same body type he was seen with in the anime. I was a little to short and my hair was a natural blond. I don't need to mention that I'm a little to chubby.
I looked off to the side to see a stall full of items from various anime. I saw the Dragon Balls off to the side and a collection of various figures and weapons from Naruto. That was the main thing that caught my attention and I quickly made my way over there. Standing at the counter was a girl dressed up as Kagome from Inuyasha happily humming the Naruto song Sadness and Sorrow as she sewed a set of doll clothes.
I looked at the displays and noticed a miniature set of The Chikamatsu Collection of Ten Puppets off to the side. On the other side I saw a red book labeled 'Naruto Justu and Kekkei Genkai' with the Uzumaki swirl on the front cover. Finally on the wall of the booth was a bandaged version of the Samehada made with meticulous detail.
"Hello I would like to buy some items." I said casually. She looked up towards me while placing the sewing kit and clothes on the counter.
"Of course. What items would you like." She spoke in a surprisingly accurate impersonation of Kagomes voice.
"I would like the Chikamatsu puppets, the Naruto Jutsu and Kekkei Genkai book, And the Samehada please." I said as she brought the items to the counter. She rung up the items and placed the book and puppets in a plastic bag. Picking up the items I started to walk towards the exit when a bright light shined beneath me.
I looked down to see Hidens rune on the ground. I tried to move out of the way but it felt as if my legs were frozen solid. Suddenly two halves of a coffin sprouted out of the ground. Still unable to move the two halves of the coffin closed on me with a loud thunk.
As soon as this happened my vision went dark and I saw no more.
(Equestria - Castle of Two Sisters)
Nightmare Moon was scared. In front of her was six mares wielding the Elements of Harmony. She had to do something fast or she would surely fall.
She immediately thought of summoning something to protect herself from the attack being charged up. She remembered a race of powerful demons she studied long ago that could wipe out the pathetic ponies that stood in her way! Quickly she charged up the spell and fired.
Right as the Elements shot the beam of light at her a tan coffin sprung up and dispersed the beam in an instant. The Elements as well as their wielders then fell to the ground, completely unconscious. Deciding to wait for the right moment to gloat her victory, Nightmare Moon walked into the shadows and out of sight. While doing so the coffin slipped underground with a loud "THUNK".
The Elements awoke and began celebrating before she reentered.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha… AH HA HA HA HA HAAAaaa! Did you really think you would be able to beat me? I am Nightmare Moon! And I will show you why your fate is sealed!" She said summoning the coffin with the same loud sound as before. After doing so the front of the coffin fell with a thud and a single figure walked out of it.
The figure had light tan skin with spiky dark blue hair. He had a white robe on over a blue cloth onesie tied in the middle with white bandages. On his feet were blue sandals and black cloth running up his legs. The scariest thing about him are his eyes. They stared into the Elements with an almost glowing yellow hue. On his back was a strange object covered in bandages.
"Now my demon. It's time to show these fools not to mess with Nightmare Moon!" She said before once again laughing out loud. The figure looked around and saw a mirror, and began to stare at it.
(P.O.V. - 1st 'Demon')
I looked at my changed visage and felt terrified. Staring back at me was a different being than what I am. I was taller, skinnier, and I have yellow eyes for Christs sake! I must have been standing there for who knows how long before I heard a voice behind me.
"What are you waiting for you idiot?! Hurry up and destroy them!" I looked behind me to see... A human pony hybrid? Curios to what she meant I turned again and saw six more of these strange creatures looking at me with both fear and... curiosity? I looked up at the first pony and said one thing.
"No."
Her face went from one of frustration to one of fury. Her eyes began to glow white as well as the strange horn on her head.
"HOW DARE YOU! I WILL DESTROY YOU FOR YOUR INSOLENCE!" She screamed before shooting out a powerful beam of energy towards me. Obviously pretty terrified I crossed my arms over my eyes and closed them. Suddenly the light from the beam was gone and I opened my eyes. In front of me was a wall of iron sand that stood like a pillar. I looked back at the first pony who had a look of shock and fear on her face. I frowned and made the ram seal.
"I AM... THE THIRD KAZEKAGE! AND YOU SHOULD NOT USE A SUMMONING TECHNIQUE SO CARELESSLY!"

The Third Kazekage Vs. Nightmare Moon
The iron sand began taking the shape of several pyramids. All of which pointed at Nightmare Moon. Suddenly the pyramids shot towards her at insane speeds. Using her earth pony strength she punched the ground causing it to crack under the pressure. She then lifted the shards of the earth using her levitation magic in order to block the approaching attack.
The pyramids slammed into and immediately cracked the shards of the ground and began pushing more and more into them. Before doing so however Nightmare jumped out of the ring of protection around her as the sand broke through and massed together, aiming to crush anything that was inside it. As soon as it did so, the sand floated out in several streams and began to surround the Kazekage. Who was maintaining the same ram seal as before. It started to cling to his very skin and harden, creating a shell of solid iron.
"Magnet Release: Iron Body Jutsu!"
Pulling the bandaged item from his back. It began to unravel and reveal a mass of strange blue blades that moved slightly, almost as if it were alive. Seeing this Nightmares horn began to glow and in a flash a scythe with a crescent moon shaped blade was in her hands. Both silently entered their stances. Nightmare holding the blade strait in the direction of the Kazekage, and the Kazekage holding the blade horizontally behind him.
They both stood there silently for a few moments. The moons light leaking through the broken windows of the room. The light reflecting off of the Kazekages body lighting up the darker parts of the room. It was so quiet you could hear a sleeping rabbit a hundred miles away.
Suddenly both Nightmare and the Kazekage started running towards each other as they swung their blades at each other. The two massive blades met with a loud "CLANG" that could be heard threw out the castle. Both of them jumped back slightly and Nightmare lanced her scythe at the Kazekages neck. The Kazekage ducked underneath it and jumped upwards, swinging his blade at the same time.
Dodging backwards to avoid the blade Nightmare swung towards the Kazekages right leg. the blade connected with a loud metallic scratching noise that caused her sensitive ears to ring. taking this advantage the Kazekage lifted his right foot and kicked her in the stomach, causing her to slide back for several feet.
Not wanting her to recover the Kazekage ran towards her at blinding speeds and sliced downwards. Nightmare quickly dodged though not enough to avoid damage completely as the blade cut her right arm. Deciding to play rough Nightmare started firing beams of magic at the Kazekage as he flipped and blocked each of them with his blade. Which somehow didn't effect the blade much to the confusion of the bystanders of the battle.
The two combatants jumped away from each other and stared at each other once again. Nightmare Moon was breathing heavily and was clutching her injured arm that was holding her scythe. She looked at the uninjured and hardily breathing Kazekage with murder in her eyes. She then started to feel weaker and her vision started blurring.
"Wh...What's happening?" She asked out loud with wide eyes. The Kazekages frown slowly turned into a insane grin as he started to chuckle a bit.
"It looks as though Samehadas abilities work on your energy as well." He said causing confusion for everyone in the room.
"Wh...What do you mean?" Nightmare said as her body started to feel even heavier and she started to lose the feeling in her legs.
"You see. My sword Samehada has a set of very peculiar abilities. The most useful ability is its ability to absorb any energy it comes into contact with." The Kazekage stated causing all present to nearly gasp in shock. The Kazekage chuckled before continuing.
"It was simple really. When you used your magic to lift the earth I felt Samehada start feeling out your energy. After it learned your energy signature it was a simple process of letting it come into contact with it. Which you have graciously provided for me." He said causing Nightmares eyes to widen further. Before they narrowed in anger. the temperature in the room suddenly dropped by several degrees.
Picking herself up she began wildly swinging at the Kazekage. Hit after hit her scythe cut and scrapped against his armor as he tried feudally to dodge the flurry of attacks. parts of his armor began scraping off revealing the tan skin beneath. Nightmare then swung at his head which he blocked with Samehada. This caused the blade to get knocked out of his hand and slide to the other side of the room. Kicking him Nightmare Moon looked down at the Kage and began laughing maniacally once again.
"You thought you could win huh? Well you can't! Because I am the goddess of the night!" she stated out loud to her defeated opponent. She lifted up her scythe, intent on delivering the finishing blow. Then her vision became even worse and pain racked her body all at once. She began to scream in agony as she fell to her knees.
It was then that the Kazekage stood up and slowly made his way over to the bystanders. Once he reached them he picked up Samehada.
"What are you standing here for?" He asked them knocking them out of their fear induced trance. Completely ignoring the still screaming Nightmare Moon. "Aren't you going to finish her or something?"
This seemed to reboot the six as the trinkets began to blow and they lifted into the air. Their eyes began to glow as well as a large rainbow beam shot at Nightmare and encircled her. The sounds of her screaming stopped and the Elements once again fell unconscious.

(Canterlot - Outskirts)
After breakfast I parted ways with the rest and headed towards the edge of the castle grounds. I have no idea where I am in terms of power and I need to find out. After arriving in an empty ridge I placed Samehada on the ground propped up against a tree and fell into a stance.
When I was thirteen I was sent to a martial arts school everyday after my regular classes in order to learn discipline. After attending for about four years constantly I stopped in order to focus on the other aspects of my schooling. Though a few years later I moved and started attending a new smaller academy and learned for another three years. I had to drop it once again when I started attending collage, but I maintained a healthy diet and light workout to make sure I didn't forget.
I started going through the stances I remembered and felt fired up at the end. It felt like I had a flame in my heart that would only be extinguished by fighting. Though the thought of fighting only brought my mind to the battle with Nightmare Moon. She was supposedly a goddess right? So how did I a weeb keep up with and defeat a goddess even though I had no experience fighting with or using chakra?
I sat down in a meditative position and searched within myself. Quickly I felt a warmth flowing through my body. I assumed this was chakra and tried to shape it inside my stomach. I felt the warmth concentrate in my stomach and move towards my chests. I then felt it in my throat and realized what was happening. Opening my eyes I turned my head towards the edge of the ridge and went into a squatting position. Breathing in and exhaling a huge breath I saw a huge torrent of pure blue chakra be propelled into the ridge.
Seeing the chakra dissipate I decided to start experimenting. The first was using chakra to increase the height of my jumps. I ended up going to high and cleared the mountain range. Looking around as I ascended I saw a small village in the valley bellow the mountains. In the distance I also saw the shapes of a few modern buildings. I assume it's a city of some sort. I looked behind me as I started to slow down and saw what seemed to be a city made of clouds.
As I started descending I remembered that falling hurts. As I started freaking out I remembered the push I felt from the chakra blast earlier. Focusing I felt the warmth once again build up in my stomach and up my chest. I started inhaling earlier and formed the tiger seal. Instead of pure blue chakra it was a blast of steam and quickly slowed my descent.
'So the tiger seal alone can boil chakra. Interesting. This will require further investigation.' I thought to myself as I hit the ground. Thankfully the steam slowed it enough to where it didn't hurt to bad. Though it did cause a small tremor from the impact.
Getting up I noticed a small stream from the miniature crater I created. Moving Samehada from the tree to a rock I started taking off my cloak. It was then that I felt something pressing up against my side. Feeling inside the cloak I found two items (though to be honest how they didn't fall out is beyond me). The first was the book I had purchased from the booth, and the second was the scroll for the puppets I had purchased.
Placing my cloak and the puppet scroll on the rock with Samehada I sat down and opened the book. Only then I saw that it was blank! What a waste of money. I turned from page after page and found nothing! Just as I was about to toss it a faint glow emitted from the first page. It now had two new entries on it.
Magnet Release: Iron Body Jutsu
Creates a solid iron shell around the user used for defense or increasing striking power, and the pieces can be telepathically controlled.
Hand seals: Ram
Wind Release: Steam Discharge Jutsu
Creates a focused beam of steam that can be manipulated by the user. The steam can act as a blade, spear, or diversion. This steam is very malleable and can be charged with other forms of chakra due to the low requirements to perform it.
Hand seals: Tiger
I stared at the page with saucer wide eyes. The justu I used against Nightmare Moon, and the one I used to slow my descent. They were both in the book! I couldn't believe my eyes. I wiped them with my hand and looked back at the book. Still it remained unchanged. I quickly looked to the cover and saw that the words had changed. It now said 'The Powers Of Taka'.
I quickly decided that it was best to just place the book down and move on. Moving to the river I felt out my chakra again. This time I tried to focus it onto my feet. Feeling the same warmth in my feet I stepped onto the water, and immediately got blasted at least eighty feet away. Getting up I walked up to the edge of the river and looked around. I seemed to have it figured out where I stood. I seem to have the physical capabilities of The Third Kazekage. Though I didn't have any amount of control.
I spotted a tree a ways away and walked towards it. Once again collecting chakra in my feet I ran towards it and up it. About a third of the way up the bark broke and I was blasted away. This was going to take a while.
(Time Skip - 12 Hours)
I spent the entire twelve hours doing nothing but the tree climbing exercise. If only there was some way to... Oh wait Shadow Clones. I gathered chakra in my hands and performed the famous jutsu. Immediately a loud poof was heard and a hundred clones appeared. They immediately got to work on the exercise and I left them to it. I felt quite winded after that and started to grab my stuff but turned around at the sound of hooves on the soil. I looked up to see a group of armed guards and another in slightly better armor. He stared at me with both shock and anger. He hat a white coat and blue mane and had a picture of a shield on his armor.
"You are coming with us!" He said in an angry and confident voice.

(P.O.V. - 1st Kazekage)
I looked down on the unconscious ponies and started to think about my situation. Mainly on how messed up it is. One minute I was leaving a convention and the next I'm fighting some insane night monster like I do it every Monday. I tried to think about where I was going to go afterwards but I couldn't remember. In fact, I couldn't remember anything about myself!
'What is going on? Why can't I remember anything? Who am I? Where am I? And on a completely different note, how do I know how to use jutsu?' I tried to remember something, anything. Then I saw The Sand Village. I remembered the faces of its people. I remember being killed by Sasori. I remember Lady Chiyo. I know that they aren't real, but they feel so real.
Before I could ask anymore questions the six ponies began to wake up. As if my body moved on its own I jumped up and clung to the ceiling. Listening in on their celebration I could tell that whoever that night demon was she was bad news. Suddenly I heard another voice and another being entered the room.
She was very similar to the nightmare monster from earlier, but she had a simple long white dress on that matched her fur. Her hair flowing in the non existent wind similar to that creature, and she seemed to generate an aura of power and calmness. The most notable thing about her though is her horn and wings. She seemed to be someone of royalty due to the fact that she both had on a crown and the fact the six ponies immediately bowed when she arrived.
Suddenly I heard loud coughing and I looked over to see a creature similar to the two before began to wake up. I could tell that she seemed to be a weakened version of the night creature due to the fact that she had the cut on her arm and the iron sand was seeping from it.
I heard the word sister be thrown around a few times and the two creatures embraced in a hug. I honestly didn't know why I was calling them creatures since I was already calling the others ponies. The purple one then mentioned something and they started to look around. I couldn't hear much of their conversations due to the fact that the ceiling was so high.
It was here that my body decided to let go and I started to float down.
Ignoring the shocked faces of everyone present started to walk over to the white winged pony.
"I assume that you are the ruler of whatever nation we're in. If so then I have a few questions."
(P.O.V. - 3rd)
Celestia stared at the creature in shock. When her student mentioned a demon she had not imagined that it would look like this. The creature decided to wait while she pulled herself out of her shock. When she did she let go of the other pony and opened her wings before speaking.
"You must be the creature that Twilight mentioned. I will answer your questions later but we should do so back in Canterlot." She stated to which the creature nodded. She then looked to her student and her friends before her horn lit up and all present disappeared.
(Canterlot Castle)
All nine appeared in the throne room of the castle and the Kazekage quickly fell into a stance clearly not expecting to teleport. Celestia noticed this and helped calm him down.
"I need to raise the sun and address the public about todays events. Afterwards we can have breakfast and answer each others questions." She stated at which the Kazekage nodded. He then was escorted to the dining hall by the guards as the two princesses addressed the public. When they finished everyone met in the dining hall as breakfast was being served.
"I understand that Nightmare Moon summoned you." Celestia said to start the conversation.
"It would seem so. Though trust me it was not my choice." He said at which Luna winced which caused more pain in her arm and body. This caught Celestias attention and she once again turned stared at the Kazekage. As if reading her mind the Kazekage started to explain.
"What happened to Nightmare Moon was part of my plan. While she was distracted by her blind rage and disorientation by Samehada, I used the shattered parts of my Iron Body Jutsu to slip the iron sand into her bloodstream. When I was cornered I used the sand to start taring up her insides in order to let those six use whatever attack that was to defeat her. Though it seemed to do something different entirely. In fact I started removing the sand from her body while I was waiting." He stated as a matter of fact. This shocked everyone in the room as to how quickly he was able to come up with this plan.
"Who are you exactly? You said you were the third Kazekage. What is a Kazekage?" Twilight asked the Kage. To which he responded by chuckling a little bit and rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand.
"In order to understand that, you would need to know the story of Naruto." He said before going through the entire story of Naruto. Over the next two hours the mares listened with incredible intensity. Crying when Haku died and gasping when Sasuke left the village. They were left crying tears of joy when Naruto brought Sasuke back to the village. When it was over the Kage sighed before speaking again.
"While the story is incredible it was simply that. A story, a work of fiction. No one can use Chakra." He said making everyone drop their jaws in shock.
"Then how did you use all of those amazing powers?" Twilight asked in shocked confusion.
"Well you see, the show became really popular. Much more popular than almost any other. People started dressing up as these characters and meeting at conventions. I was one of these people. I was walking back home from one of these conventions when that coffin sprung up around me and brought me here. What's even stranger is that I seemed to be turned into the character I was dressed up as, and I somehow also have his memories." He stated causing their jaws to drop even more. In one case her jaw literally hit the floor.
"If you have his memories, then why don't you use his name? At least until you can remember your own name." Luna suggested to which the Kazekage shook his head.
"I may have his memories, but as far as I know he was never given an official name. Even if he was I don't feel comfortable taking someones name." He stated before perking up slightly.
"I got it! Just call me Taka." He said with a smile.

Guards Become Fodder - End of Nightmare Arc
(P.O.V. 3rd)
Taka and all of his clones instantly stopped what they were doing and stared at the stallions proclamation in confusion. The guards took a few steps forward before the leader picked up one of the clones by the collar.
"Come with us or we will use deadly force!" He stated almost snarling in anger.
'They're acting like the guards from Skyrim. Comply or die.' Taka thought sweat dropping.
The clone didn't respond and instead just stared holes in the guards head before grabbing his wrist and kicking him in the chin. Then all hell broke loose.
Takas clones were all fighting the guards, and were curb stomping them. They threw around sand and steam like they would never see light again. The only one to hold his own was the supposed leader. Dispelling five clones at once he jumped into the air with a battle cry when Taka formed the ram hand sign. Instead of hitting flesh like intended it made a clanging sound as it his solid iron armor.
"Magnet Release: Iron Body Jutsu" He called out before running and picking up his cloak and items. Placing them away he unraveled Samehada and went into the same stance that he used against Nightmare Moon. The guard once again slashed downwards and Taka let it hit once again before giving him a stare that cloud kill a million times over. The guard realized that the sword wouldn't work, and quickly jumped backwards while firing some magic bolts at Taka.
Taka simply hit the bolts with Samehada and just looked at the guard with a bored expression. The guards all stopped and looked in shock of the sword absorbing the magic. The distraction only allowed for them to be curb stomped even more by the remaining clones. Both Taka and the guard sweat dropped at it before Taka let his sword drop to the side.
"You aren't the same as these other creatures. You don't turn into smoke after one hit like some sort of illusion." He stated as a fact before relaxing some himself.
"Yes, well the ones fighting your comrades are merely shadow clones. Constructs created from my chakra. Though each only has around half a percent of it. So they are dispelled after about one hit." He stated as a matter of fact. This caused the lead guard to sweat drop again at the incompetence of his soldiers.
Instead of just standing there like a useless Saiyan Taka kicked the guard into a tree, and to add insult to injury another guard hit the tree on top of him and stuck there by a claw of iron sand. They were light headed for a moment before realizing that the guard on top was up side down(69 position).
After that happened all of the other guards were left unconscious by the remaining clones. They immediately started dispelling themselves causing Taka a minor headache.
It was then that he started using his chakra enhanced jumping to get to the castle. Leaving all of the guards either embarrassed or unconscious.
(Canterlot Castle - Thrown Room)
Celestia like most days was siting in her day court listening to the nobles spout out complaints or ridiculous requests for hours at a time. She usually was quite miserable when attending the court mainly due to the extreme boredom that permeated the air.
She did however have many more things that made it more barrable. These things where her sisters return and the new arrival named Taka. The being of incredibly odd and interesting origins was surrounded by mystery. Just thinking about him made her feel like she was going to burst.
The human brought with him the possibility to learn of an entirely new universe and species. That alone made it worth while to study him.
She was brought out of her thoughts by the sounds of the doors opening. In walked in the creature she had been thinking about just a second ago. Taka walked in with his blade at his back calmly looking Celestia in the face as the nobles nearly buttered their pants in fear of the scary skinned monster.
Ignoring the commotion the nobles were causing Celestia looked back at the Kazekage with and eyebrow raised. She had not seen him since breakfast and he seemed to have a lot more confidence in his step.
Not speaking Taka simply took out the book of powers and placed it on her desk in front of her. Confused at the meaning Celestia opened her mouth to speak. Though she was stopped when Taka raised his hand and began walking out. Looking down at the book her eyes widened in shock at the title. She was about to get up and chase after him when the nobles started screaming and wailing about a monster in Canterlot.
As she sat back down to deal with the evil of the nobility she looked down and saw a note attached to the book. She looked at the book and back to the note before reading it in silence.
'Meet me in your library with your sister tonight. There are some things I need to talk to you about my predicament.'
She looked back to the still terrified nobles before sighing. She knew today would be long, but it would also be a fun night.
