There are two realms. One of light, and one of shadows. Each realm had its own ruler.

The Light Realm has the great Queen Twilight Sparkle. She is a great and kind ruler who cares for all of her subjects.

The Shadow Realm has the powerful King Sombra. He is a cruel and cold ruler who only cares about power.

Since I was a filly, I was taught to hate the creatures in the Light Realm or the, Light Creatures because I was a creature of the Shadow Realm, a Shadow Creature. I didn't see any reason to hate them but, I have to, especially since I am the daughter of the King of Shadows, Sombra.

I am the Princess of the Shadow Realm. My name is Luminous and this is my story.
