Rarity was walking across a street in Ponyville as she had just gotten back from a long vacation at a beach house as she had needed it to relieve some stress that she had suffered from during her work, she really needed it and she was glad that it had worked for her benefit.
As she finished walking across the street she looked around at the the other ponies going to shops or just spending time with their friends, the weather had been really nice out so there wasn't anything to damper anypony's mood.
She continued to travel further into her town wondering if she should visit Sweetie Belle due to just getting back from her vacation but she realized that Sweetie Belle could just see her on the weekend so she decided to not bother her sister even if she knew that she wouldn't really be bothering her anyway.
Rarity pushed these thoughts away for now as she saw a pony at a stand in the background, Rarity decided to go and check this stand out due to rarely seeing stands like this in Ponyville since it was uncommon to see a sale stand out in the open.
As Rarity approached the stand she saw that the pony had a very pleasant expression which made Rarity feel at ease, she stopped in front of it.
"Uh....hello, you do know that your the only pony out here like this? What exactly are you doing?" Rarity asked, the pony smiled and showed Rarity some jewelry, Rarity immediately became suspicious.
"Your pretending to sell jewelry, You're scamming ponies aren't you?" Rarity accused, the made frowned at the conclusion.
"How did you come to that conclusion, this isn't a scam I'm actually selling jewelry...." The pony explained, Rarity then took a look and saw that the jewelry was pretty genuine, she felt kind of guilty for making accusations, plus how could she know for sure that it was.
"Did you make all of this?" Rarity asked, the pony held up a photo showing herself making the necklaces. Rarity was amazed, she felt like she needed to apologize.
"Sorry for making assumptions darling, I'll leave you alone now." Rarity said as she turned around to leave due to the fact that she didn't want to make things even worse for the mare that she accused.
"Your Rarity right? My name is Lucille, Don't you own a clothes shop somewhere around here?" Lucille asked, Rarity stopped and turned back around to face Lucille as she wasn't surprised to be noticed by this mare
"Yes I am, nice to meet you Lucille I own Carousel Boutique, I make all of my dresses that I sell." Rarity said, the mare examined Rarity intensely as she tried to figure something out, Rarity would give anything to find out what the mare was thinking about.
"I think I actually know you from somewhere but I can't exactly put my hoof on it." Lucille said, this shocked Rarity as she had no idea that Lucille would know her, it didn't make sense to her as she had no idea who Lucille was.
"That's impossible darling, I have never seen you here in Ponyville before, I don't even think your from Canterlot and if you are then maybe we just always accidentally missed eachother, you might just recognize me because we've passed eachother in the past but never did we contact eachother or talk." Rarity explained.
"You really think so?" Lucille asked, Rarity nodded which caused the Lucille to shrug.
"Oh well at least we are meeting now, can I meet your sister?" Lucille asked, Rarity's pleasantness faded as she was asked about her sister by somepony that she didn't know, she became very alarmed.
"How the hell did you know about my sister!?" Rarity demanded which caused Lucille to wince in shock from being yelled at, she raised an eyebrow as she stared at Rarity in disbelief.
"Rarity....you uh do know that most ponies in Ponyville know who the cutie mark crusaders are right? Don't they go and try to help ponies so they can get their cutie marks?" Lucille asked, Rarity sighed.
"Yes they do, I guess that's how you knew who they were, why do you want to meet her though? What exactly are you planning to do to her?" Rarity asked, Lucille gave a confused face.
"Uh nothing really, I just wanted to meet her due to the fact that I always see her outside and I'm interested in how she does things, she's been trying to get a cutie mark ever since she met those other two that she hangs out with." Lucille said, Rarity snarled causing the mare to step backwards.
"Why? Are you planning to hurt her?" Rarity accused, Lucille stared in shock due to this accusation and quickly shook her head.
"What? No. I would never do that to a helpless filly or a helpless colt, I was just asking to meet her because I see her around a lot with her other two friends, I found out that she was your sister from Lyra calm down Rarity like seriously." Lucille said, this didn't make Rarity relax however as Rarity just got even more protective of her sister.
"Somehow I don't trust you, if I were you I would walk away now before I blast you with my magic and break your legs, don't bother my sister you fucking creep!" Rarity yelled, Lucille took offense at this.
"I'm not a creep! I know what your insinuating about me and its offensive to say the least, I'm not doing what you are thinking that I'm doing, maybe you should ask me more before you come to conclusions, if you don't want me to talk to you anymore then I won't." Lucille said, Rarity felt very guilty, she couldn't take back her comment now as it was already said and heard.
"Lucille I'm very protective of my sister sou better not be tricking me in order to hurt her by asking about her in order to get her location, get away before i report you to the authorities!" Rarity yelled.
"Rarity I was just asking a question due to Sweetie Belle's fame, the whole town knows her and her friends due to their antics. Well goodbye Rarity thanks for labeling me something that I'm not. I'm not a filly molester!" Lucille said, Lucille left and Rarity was glad that she had reacted in order to protect Sweetie Belle just in case the pony was a sicko.
In the aftermath of this incident Rarity started to protect Sweetie Belle a lot more, she didn't want any harm to come to her as Sweetie Belle was till very weak and helpless, she wasn't going to let any pony hurt her, she became more and more suspicious of ponies and decided to place Sweetie Belle in a protective program that would keep watch over her when she was in public, she also made sure that Sweetie Belle never went Into the dark again.
Rarity made sure that she would use her magic to kill anypony that would try to harm Sweetie Belle or use the elements with her friends to banish that pony, she told her friends this and they agreed with Rarity's plan, nopony was going to hurt Sweetie Belle.
