Iris was the daughter of Korra and Mako, the king and queen of friendship. Akari wasn’t he daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry. Mai and Hiro were the twins siblings of Asami and Bolin and they were Iris’s cousins. Nori was the daughter of Kombu and he was married to Rarity. She could change into a merpony an she loves everything to do with fashion and nature. Chi was Nova’s wisp sister and she lives with Sunset Shimmer and Nova. Gallent Seed was also the son of Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst. He was shy and didn’t really like sports. The friends were happily walking and talking. Naga, Korra's polar bear-dog hybrid was walking beside Iris when her stopped and started sniffing the ground. "Naga, what is it?" Iris asked. Naga walked towards the alleyway and barked. "What's up with Naga?" Mai asked. "I think she smells something in the alley." Iris asnwered. "Probably something dead." Naga went back towards Iris and tugged at her clothes, "No, guys. I think she wants us to check it out." Naga nodded and started walking down the alley. Iris followed her mothers' pet and her friends followed too. Looking around, they diddn't see anything intresting. Suddenly, Naga barked at a cardboard box. “You think someone’s there, girl?” Iris asked. Naga nodded and started nudging the box. “Only one way to find out.” Iris approached the box and lifted it up. What everybody saw made their hearts stop. There was an anthro alicorn laying unconscious on the ground! The girl looked at be about fourteen. Her clothes were in sheds, her hair was really messy and she had a lot of dirt and grime on it as well as her body. Her body also had some bruisers and scratches on it. “Oh my goodness!” Nori cried. “Holy mother of Raava!” Hiro added. “What happened?” Akari asked. “I don’t know.” Iris stated. “But she needs help." Iris carefully picked up the alicorn and placed her on Naga's back. " Me and Naga will take her back to the palace. The rest of you, go gather everybody else and have them come to the palace.” Iris ordered. The twins nodded and went off while Iris and the others went to her castle. Soon, the mane 6, Bolin, Asami, Lady Leilani, Queen Celestia, Queen Luna, Queen Korra, King Mako, Sunset, Nova, Sunburst and Iris’s lizard spirit siblings, San, Mika and Ali were present. Iris placed the unconscious mare in one of the guest bedroom. Korra placed a wet rag on her forehead to bring down her fever. “What ever could have happened to the darling?” Rarity asked. “Not sure but to leave in such a state.” Korra started. “It must have been pretty bad.” "For now, we should leave the mare to rest and check up on her in the morning.” Leilani suggested. Everybody agreed and went off. The next day, Iris went to check on the alicorn, only to find her sitting up in bed, looking around the room. When she saw Iris, she squeaked in fear and hid beneath the covers. "No, no, no. It's alright." Iris cooed. The alicorn slowly came from underneath the covers. "Really?" she squeaked. “Do you wanna tell me your name?” Iris asked. “C-C-Crystal Diamond.” “Well Crystal, I wanna introduce you to my friends and family, is that okay?” Iris asked. Crystal nodded. Iris exited the room and soon came back with her friends and family. "Well, nice to see your awake, young one." Leilani said, carrying a plate of food for Crystal. She graciously accepted the plate and quickly ate everything. Man, was she hungry. "We're so glad you're alright." Fluttershy said. Crystal just gave them a small smile. "Not very talkative are you?" Rainbow asked, earning her a head shake from Crystal. "Well, Crystal?" Twilight started. Crystal looked at her. "Have you ever used your magic before?" "... A-Actually... I n-never d-did." After a moment of silence, Akari yelled, “You’ve never used your magic in your life!” Crystal nodded fearfully. “Easy Kars, you're scaring her.” Chi said. Akari calmed down and apologized. Queen Celestia came forth, "Well then, we should start we some magic training for you." "O-Okay." she replied softly. Celestia looked at Twilight, "Twilight, will you be Crystal's magic teacher?" "Of course." "And I can help her fly." Rainbow offered. "Excellent." Leilani said. Suddenly... BOOM! A loud explosion occurred in Harmony City! “What was that?!” Mako asked. “I don’t know, but it can’t be good.” Korra replied. The gang raced to city hall and saw the problem; a weird creature was wrecking the place! It was blue and small with black fur covering its head and neck, concealing everything but its mouth from view. The fur around its neck also has six purple spots encircling it, which resemble bruises. The hair on the top of its head takes the shape of a single small horn. It also has a short tail that appears to be bitten off. It was ramming anything in front of it, lampposts, stands, benches and even people. Police were trying to restrain it with their ropes but the creature fired a beam of fire at them, burning them easily. Also, two other were chasing after the first one has blue body and a white underside. It has white, three-pronged fins on the sides of its head and a white bump on its forehead. Above its large, round, white snout are oval, purple eyes. The second was sheep-like creature with fluffy cream-colored wool covering its entire body, as well as a curly tuft of wool in the middle of its head. Its head is blue, and it has black eyes. Its four feet are blue and have two digits on each foot, and it appears to be on tiptoe at all times. Its conical ears and tail have a yellow-and-black striped pattern. Also, it has an orange sphere at the end of its tail. "What are those things?!" Mako asked. "Whatever they are; one of them is wrecking the city!" Korra said. The other two creatures were trying to calm down the first one. "How are we gonna stop that one?" Rainbow asked. "Maybe we can our magic?" Twilight suggested. "Ummm... Mom, don't look now but Crystal's already doing something." Akari pointed to Crystal who walked actually walking towards the creature. "Crystal, are you crazy?!" Mai cried. "Get away!" Hiro added. Crystal continued walking towards the creature, who was blasting fire from it's mouth. It stopped Crystal and growled, scraping the floor with his right, front leg. "So you wanna fight huh, Deino?" The creature cried, "Deino!" "Alright then." Crystal closed her eyes and concentrated. Her body glowed and in a second she changed into a yellow mouse-like creature with a lightning bolt-shaped tail, long ears with black tips and red cheeks. "What just happened?!" Twilight cried. "Crystal just shapeshifted without magic!" Akari added. Deino cried and charged Crystal. Crystal dashed forth and electrified herself and rammed Deino. Deino skidded back a little and recovered. He blasted a shock wave from his mouth, but Crystal leaped over it and dove towards it. Her tail glowed and turned to steel. She smacked Deino on the side, sending him crashing to the ground. Deino got up again, but this time Crystal unleashed a bolt of electricity at Deino, shocking him badly and he fainted. Crystal changed back into her normal self, as the other two creatures came to Deino's side. "Dratini?" "Mareep?" Crystal came up to them and picked up the fainted Deino. "Feeling better now, Deino." Deino opened it's eyes and cried happily, "Deino!" Crystal smiled, "Good." Crystal placed Deino down and was suddenly greeted with a roar of applause and cheers from the people of Harmony City. Crystal blushed and rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment. After cleaning up the damage made by Deino, Crystal and the entire gang went back to Iris's palace. "How did you do all tat stuff, Crystal?" Hiro asked. "I've been shapeshifting since I was little." Crystal replied, blushing. "Well for someone who never did magic before, you sure knew what you were doing." Leilani prasied. "Those attacks weren't magic. The attacks were specifically ulutlized for the pokemon I changed into." "Pokemon?" Twilight questioned. "Ys, like Deino, Dratini and Mareep. Pokemon is short for Pocket Monster. They are little creatures that come in all shapes, sizes, types and rarity. Each one has a range of moves it can learn based on it's type. Deino is a dark and dragon type. Dratini is a dragon type and Mareep is an electric type." "So what was the pokemon you turned into?" Akari asked. "That was a Pikachu, an electric type." "Well, you sure packed a punch, Crystal." Applejack commented. Crystal laughed lightly. "Well, I believe I can exlain her ability." a voice said. Everybody looked and saw good old Tenzin, standing at the doorway. "Tenzin, what are you doing here?" Hiro asked. "I've come to tell you about Crystal's magic ability." he replied. "My magic?" Crystal asked. Tenzin nodded, "You, young lady, process an ancient and powerful form of magic called Animal Magic." "Animal Magic?" Korra said. "It is a very rare and powerful type of magic that allows the user to control and summon all kinds of animals.” Tenzin explained. “And when she bends, the element she uses changes into an animal as well.” The gang and Crystal were amazed by Tenzin's words. "So I can summon animals and my bending cane change into animals too?" Tenzin nodded. "Awesome!" Chi exclaimed, "You'll be able to do all kinds of things with that mixture!" "Yeah! So what do you say about getting started?" Twilight inquired. Crystal smiled, "I say... let's do it!" Magic and Bending TrainingCrystal was in the front of the palace with Korra. They were on either side of the area. The rest of the their friends were sitting on the side lines to watch. "Alright Crystal, we'll start with airbending, alright?" Korra called. "Alright." Crystal replied. Korra started by making a small ball of wind in her hands and tossing it into the air where it dispersed. "Now, you're turn." Crystal took a deep breath and concentrated. She created a small ball of wind in her hands like Korra, but she made it into the shape of an eagle. She tossed it into the air, where it grew larger and larger until it was the size of a fully grown eagle. "Woah!" Chi gasped. "Incredible!" Twilight added. Crystal moved her hands and arms, making the eagle move up and down in the air until she brought it to her side and it dispersed. Crystal opened her eyes, "How'd I do?" Seeing the shocked expressions of her friends and teacher, "... Did I do well?" Korra snapped back to her senses, "Yeah, yeah, you did great for you first try." Crystal smiled. "Now, let's continue." As the airbending lessons prgressed, Crystal showed great potential; making a large pegasus and making it blast Korra with a strong gust of wind and makiing a large tornado as well. Korra also touched on her Animal Magic as well. "Okay, Crystal, I want you to attack me using your airbending and Animal Magic, alright?" Korra inquired. "Okay." Crystal glowed and changed into a snowy white, pegasus. Korra blasted her with a gust of wind, knocking Crystal back, but she used it to fly high into the air. Crystal dove towards Korra, spinning downwards, encasing herself in wind. At the last second, she launched the attack at Korra, sending her flying. Korra flipped over and landed on her feet. "Not bad." Crystal landed and snorted. "I'm ready for more." Crystal galloped towards Korra with her wings glowing. She tired slashed Korra with her wings, but Korra blocked them and retaliated with a strong punch of wind to Crystal's side. Crystal skidded back and brushed the damage off. Taking to sky once more, Crystal rushed Korra in a burst of speed. Korra leaped over the attack and actually landed on Crystal's back! Crystal neighed in shock and tried to buck Korra off but the girl wouldn't let go of her target. Korra began making a ball of wind in her hands, planning to send Crystal crashing into the ground, however, Crystal had another idea. She dove towards the ground at a blinding speed. "What is she up to?" Rainbow asked. "Beats me." Applejack replied. Nearing the ground, Korra was almost done her attack. At the last second, Crystal came to a sudden halt, throwing Korra off of her back and she fell to the ground, canceling the attack. "What the-?!" Mako said. "Of course, Crystal knew when Korra does her wind ball attack she's not holding onto her; she used that to her advantage to stop Korra from using a close range attack." Twilight explained. Crystal landed on the floor as Korra got up, panting. "Alright Crystal, that's enough for today." Crystal glowed and changed back into her self. The two went over to the others. "That was awesome, Crystal!" Rainbow cried. "Yeah, you sure know how to battle." Nova added. "You're a fast learner that's for sure." Sunburst claimed. Crystal smiled at the compliments, "Thank you." Unknown by everyone, someone was watching them. Her proportions were that of a sickly skinny woman, her arms and legs practically bones with insect-like hairs sticking out, and her feet only had two toes. Her entire skin was black, with gray spots, resembling either freckles or sickly spots. Her hair was long and teal, wet looking with holes and pieces that draped over her face and shoulders. She wore a green, dark turquoise ragged one shoulder dress that reached her knees and a green sash around her waist. Behind her back were a pair of torn up insect wings. On her forehead grew a twisted, half broken horn as she adjusted her head and gave her guests a sly, devilish grin, showcasing her sharp fangs. Her name was Queen Chrysalis, leader of the changelings. She had seen everything from her hiding place from a distance and she was interested in this new alicorn's abilities. "So, there's a new alicorn in town huh? With powerful magic too, I must have it." she eyed Iris and her friends. "And I know just how I'm gonna get it." From behind her were three changeling wolves. "You know what to do my babies." The wolves snarled and disappeared into the shadows. After training, Iris and her friends were walking through Harmony City with Sapphire and her pokemon friends. "You did really well in training, Crystal." Iris praised. "Yeah, you're gonna kick major butt in the future with your skills." Chi, in her anthro form, added. "Hehe, thanks you guys." Crystal said. Suddenly, three changeling wolves appeared on the scene and quickly snatched Iris and her friends, grabbing them by their waists. "Wah! Hey! Ugh! Gah! Ow! Ah!" If you don't know what they look like, picture some starving wolves (skinny legs and exposed rib cages and all. Horrible, I know), and replace the ribs with the shells, holes on their legs and bony tails with almost skeletal-like heads and razor sharp fangs, dripping with green goop. "Guys!" Crystal cried. The wolves turned to her with her friends in their mouths. One wolf growled, "You want the back then meet out Queen at the City Hall, alicorn." With that, the small pack dashed away quickly. Crystal dashed back to the palace. "Everyone! Everyone!" The gang immediately came at the sound of her call. "What's wrong Crystal? And where are Iris and the other?" Mako asked. "Some were skinny wolves came and snatched them up." The gang gasped. "They said if you want to see them again meet our Queen at City Hall." Korra clenched her fists, knowing whose responsible for the kidnappings. "Queen Chrysalis." he grumbled. "Who is she?" Crystal asked. "She's a big meanie pants who wants to steal the love from every creature." Pinkie explained. "But what does she want with Iris and the others?" "No time for that Pinkie, we have to save the kids." Rainbow said. "Right, let's go." Leilani added. Everybody dashed out of the palace, including Deino, Dratini and Mareep. They all went to City Hall and sure enough there was the changeling queen surrounded by her changeling wolves. The changeling wolves had also captured a few civilians as well. Iris and her friends were all tied up in the changeling wolves slime. "You won't get away with this, Chrysalis!" Iris said. Chrysalis laughed. "Oh yes I will, once that little alicorn hands over her magic, I'll be able to takeover Equestria and the Spirit World." "Crystal will never give up her magic!" Chi exclaimed. "We'll see." "Chrysalis!" a voice called. Chrysalis turned and saw the royal family and Crystal with her pokemon. "Let our kids go, now!" Twilight demanded. "Not until, the little alicorn gives up her magic." Chrysalis bargained. "No way, creep." San said. "Let our little sister and her friends go!" "Give me her magic then." That's when Crystal stepped forth, "I'll give you my magic, if you can beat me in a battle, bug queen." she challenged. The royal family, lizard spirit siblings, Iris and her friends and the civilians all gasped. Crystal was challenging Chrysalis to a battle for her magic. Chrysalis smirked. "Deal." The two stood on opposite side of the street, staring each other down. Korra and the others stood back a little. "Draw." Chrysalis said. She charged Crystal, who jumped over her and kicked her in the back. Chrysalis growled and fired her magic at Crystal. She used her own magic to create a barrier around herself and deflected the attack. That's when she glowed and changed into Pikachu once more. "That's the best you can do?" Chrysalis taunted. She lunged at Crystal whom leaped towards her and smacked her with an Iron Tail Attack, sending her crashing to the ground. She landed on the ground. "Pika Pika." "Is that the best you got?" The Queen got back up and lunged at her. The two engaged in a close combat fight; Chrysalis trying to punch Crystal while she's using Iron Tail to block. That's when Crystal unleashed Thunderbolt at close range, sending the Queen flying back and into the stairs of city hall. Getting up once again, Chrysalis decided to up the anty. "Changeling Wolves, Attack her!" The wolves snarled and charged Crystal. Leaping into the air once more, she changed into another Pokemon. This one resembled that of a wolf. Name; Lycanroc, Midday Form. Crystal howled and launched rocks from her tail, blasting some of the wolves back. Crystal landed on the ground and charged the wolves at blinding speeds, easily knocking them to the ground. Finally, she jumped into the air and made large rocks appear around her. She launched them at the wolves, crushing them easily. Chrysalis growled. "She's incredible!" Bolin cried. "Yeah, she's kicking their butts!" Korra added. The other were very impressed with Crystal's battling skills. Crystal approached Chrysalis and snarled at her. Knowing she couldn't win this fight she decided to retreat. "Wolves, fall back!" The wolves listen to their Queen and rallied around her. "This isn't over yet, Crystal. I'll get that magic!" she declared. With that, she and the wolves disappeared. Crystal went over to her friends and cut the ropes with her claws. Iris and Akari hugged her. "Thanks, Crystal, you saved us." Akari praised. Crystal happily liked the two girls, making them laugh. Mai and Hiro released the other captured people. Crystal changed back into her human self and once again she was greeted by the cheers and applause from the civilians. Korra and the others came up to her. "Way'd a go, Crystal!" Rainbow exclaimed. "You beat the stuffing out of threat Queen and her wolves." Mako added. "You sure showed her." Ali said. Crystal smiled and blushed at the praises she was getting. That's when everybody heard a whimper coming from one of the rocks. "What's that?" Gallent asked. Crystal went to it and saw it was one of the changeling wolves. The wolf was whimpering in pain. "Poor thing, let me get this off of you." Crystal used her magic to lift the rock and make is disappeared. Looking at the wolf, she saw the front, right paw was swollen and bleeding. "Awwww." Crystal bend down to touch the wolf. "Crystal don't it's dangerous!" Iris cried, but she didn't. She touched the wolf on it's face and amazingly, the wolf actually leaned into her touch. "Well I'll be darn." Applejack said. "Don't worry, I'll get you all fixed up." Crystal said to the wolf. The wolf looked at her and tilted her head. Crystal carefully lifted the wolf up and walked back to the palace. "Poor thing, you must be hungry, I'll get you some food too." All her friends, including the royal family and the lizard spirit siblings were just staring with small pupils and small straight mouths. They all just watched as Crystal walked off, leaving them still trying to process what thy just witness. "What just happened?" Mako asked. "Crystal just befriended a changeling wolf." Hiro answered. Kindness in an Unexpected FormCrystal entered the palace and took the changeling wolf into the sickbay section of the palace. She placed it on a bed and looked through the cabinets until she found what she was looking for; the first aid kit. The wolf whimpered and she approached it with the strange white and red box. "It's alright. This'll help you feel better." The wolf calmed a little as Crystal got out a gauze, hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls. First, she washed out the wound with some water. She saw the wound was just a medium-sized scratch. After that, she poured some of the peroxide on the wound, earning her a yelp from the wolf. "Shhhh." she cooed. Placing the cotton ball on the wound and then wrapping it up in the gauze, she was soon finished addressing the wound. "There you go, big fella. All fixed." The wolf looked at the bandage and up at Crystal. She lean in and licked her as if saying, 'Thank you.' "Your welcome." Iris, Akari, Mai, Hiro, Gallent Seed, Chi, Korra, Mako, Asami, Boiln, the Mane 6, Queens Leliani, Celestia and Luna, Starlight, Sunset, Sunburst, Nova and the lizard Spirit siblings all entered the sickbay, seeing the wolf was up on it's feet again. "Sooo... you've healed it, huh?" Rainbow said. "Yeah." The wolf jumped onto her chest and started licking her. "He's big softie, can I keep him?" A moment of silence fell. "Well... Ummm..." Korra started. "The.. um... thing is, uh." Iris added. Nobody knew exactly what to say to her. Changeling wolves were vicious and dangerous, but this one acted like a puppy. "Please?" she pleaded. Korra sighed, "Alright, Crystal, you can keep it." "YEAH!" Crystal cheered, hugging her new pet. The wolf howled too and glowed as well. "What's happening to it?" Chi asked. Chi got the answer when the light diminished revealing a completely new changeling wolf. He looked like a normal healthy wolf with snowy white fur with silver stars all over his body. His wings changed to that of a falcon. "Woah, it transformed!" Twilight exclaimed. "But how?" "Maybe when Crystal showed it kindness, it was able to feed on that and transform? Changelings do feed on emotions." Akari suggested. "I think you maybe right." her mother agreed. The wolf walked over to Korra and nuzzled her leg. Korra bend down and stared at him. "You look much better like this." she commented, getting her a lick from the transformed changeling wolf. The wolf bounced over to Crystal and rubbed against her. "So what are you gonna name him?" Iris asked. Crystal thought of some names that would fit her new companion. "... Welcome to the family, Silver." The wolf barked, accepting the name. Deino, Dratini and Mareep came over and greeted their new friend. Soon, everyone was in the palace throne room discussing Crystal's abilities. "So we know she can change into animals and create animals with the four nature elements." Twilight went over. "And now Chrysalis knows she can do this too." "So what, she'll just beat her but like the last time." Flash said with a smirk. "It may not be that easy. She may develop new ways to try and steal her magic." Korra sighed. '"Well then, we'll just have to continue to train her." Mika stated. The others agreed went to find Crystal to start her training again. They found her already bonding her with wolf pet by laying fetch. "Alright, g get it Silver." The wolf barked and chased after the ball. H got it in his mouth and brought it back to Crystal. "Good boy." "Crystal!" Korra called. Crystal saw them and went over to her friends. "Yes, Korra?" "Crystal, you wanna start training again?" Crystal grinned, "Yeah." Korra and the others grinned at her happiness, "Alright, let's go." This time for the training session, they went to a wide open field, this way they would battle at full force and not risk hurting anyone. Iris and her friends were present too, along with Crystal's pokemon. "Alright Crystal, this time we'll be working with firebending." Korra said. Crystal froze a little and the sound of 'fire'. Mako rolled his eyes. Fire was Korra's favorite element. Korra started by launching a ball off fire at Crystal, however, instead of deflecting it like everyone expected her to, she just dodged and hid behind a tree. "Huh? Crystal?" Korra called. "What was that about?" Rainbow asked. Deino, Dratini and Mareep went over to the tree where their trainer was hiding along with Iris and her friends. They saw Crystal curled up in a ball of fear, whimpering with tears coming out of her eyes. "Crystal... what's the matter?" Gallent asked. Deino and Dratini nuzzled their trainer. "Deino?" "Tini Dra, Tini." The three pokemon haven't seen her like this, even though they've know her few a few days, but they didn't like it. Crystal did something between and sob and a breath, ".... No.... fire.... memory." "Memory? Of what?" Gallent asked. That's when Korra, Twilight, Celestia, Luna and Leliani came over. "Children, what's wrong?" Leilani asked. The saw Crystal huddled up in the ball. "Why is Crystal so distressed?" Luna asked. "All she said was 'No... fire... memory'." Akari said. "Memory about what?" Celestia asked. "That's the question, but based on her reaction, it had to be pretty terrible for her to be afraid of fire like this." Iris added. Crystal sat up and sniffling, wiping tears from her eyes. "Crystal... do you wanna tell us why you're scare of fire?" Korra asked gently, kneeling down beside her. Crystal sniffled and nodded, "Can we talk... in the palace?" Korra nodded and the girls took Crystal to the palace main room. They wanted to speak to her alone so they asked their friends to leave. "So it started when I was about nine years old..." Flashback Nine-year old Crystal was playing in a field with her parents watching her from a bench. She was happy and cheerful until fireball came out of nowhere and almost hit her. "Crystal!" her mother immediately raced over to her daughter and picked her up. "Are you alright?" Crystal nodded, very shaken up. That's when the family heard a loud swquck from above. Looking up they all say a giant yellow bird with a long, flowing head crest and a billowing tail, both made of flames. Additionally, its wings are also shrouded in fiery plumage. Its straight, pointed beak is brown along with small talons. The bird kept blasting everything with a fire attack, burning the fields easily. "Mommy!" Crystal sobbed. Her mother held her daughter tighty, trying to calm her down. Her father used his firebending to disperse the fire long enough for the family to escape. The large bird flew away while the family tried to recover from what they just experienced. End of Flaskback "After that I became afraid of any fire, coming towards me. Me using fire attacks is fine, but I just get that horrible memory when fire is launched at me." Crystal finished. The Queens were all shocked and horrified from Crystal's story. "That's terrible." Korra said. "No wonder you freaked." Twiight added. Crystal nodded. "How about we just focus on wind, water and earth. Then, if you feel ready by then, we'll train with you fire bending?" Korra offered. Crystal liked the idea and nodded. Korra smiled and they all exited the room. "Korra, what happened?" Mako asked. "Yeah, what's going on?" Chi added. Korra and Twilight explained everything to the group. When they were done, they were in a mixture of sadness and shock. "Poor Crystal, so that's why you were so scared when Korra fired fire at you." Fluttershy cooed. Crystal shyly nodded. Iris and Akari came up to her. "Don't worry, just focus on the other three elements and then you'll focus on fire." Iris stated. "Alright." Crystal said. "So why don't we start with some water bending?" Korra proposed. Crystal nodded. But before they could began Mareep came into the room, crying in distress, "Mareep! Mareep!" "Mareep, what's wrong?" Nova asked. Mareep ran out of the room and the gang followed her to the outisde of the palace wherer Deino and Dratini were present, however, something was wrong. Deino and Dratini were glowing! "Why are they glowing?" Mai asked. "Cause they're evolving." Crystal replied. "EVOLVING!" Everybody exclaimed. And sure enough when the light vanished in place of Deino and Dratini were two different pokemon. The first one was the same color as Deino, except it had two heads and four legs with two thin wings on its back, each ending in two points. The second was a longer version of Dratini. It had a small orb underneath it's neck and an orb of the top of it's head. Its head is flanked by two small, stylized wings, which are white and curve into a swirl at the base. "Sweet Mother of Raava! What are they?!" Hiro and Mai cried in unison. "Zwellous and Dragonair, the evolved forms of Deino and Dratini." Crystal said. "But how?" Mako asked. "Pokemon evolve when they reach a certain level or by an evolutionary stone. Deino and Dratini must have reach their evolution level." Crystal explained. Zwellous and Dragonair came over to Crystal and nuzzled her. "Hehe, I'm so happy for you both." "Zwellous, Zwe!" "Nair." The friends were happy for the pokemon. Mareep came over and cried happily for her friends. "Now how about that water training?" Nori asked. Crystal smiled, "Alright."
One Unique DiscoveryOne day in Harmony City, Iris and her friends; Akari, Noro, Hiro, Mai, Chi and Gallent Seed were walking down the street with the bright sunlight shingling down on the beautiful city. Iris was the daughter of Korra and Mako, the king and queen of friendship. Akari wasn’t he daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry. Mai and Hiro were the twins siblings of Asami and Bolin and they were Iris’s cousins. Nori was the daughter of Kombu and he was married to Rarity. She could change into a merpony an she loves everything to do with fashion and nature. Chi was Nova’s wisp sister and she lives with Sunset Shimmer and Nova. Gallent Seed was also the son of Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst. He was shy and didn’t really like sports. The friends were happily walking and talking. Naga, Korra's polar bear-dog hybrid was walking beside Iris when her stopped and started sniffing the ground. "Naga, what is it?" Iris asked. Naga walked towards the alleyway and barked. "What's up with Naga?" Mai asked. "I think she smells something in the alley." Iris asnwered. "Probably something dead." Naga went back towards Iris and tugged at her clothes, "No, guys. I think she wants us to check it out." Naga nodded and started walking down the alley. Iris followed her mothers' pet and her friends followed too. Looking around, they diddn't see anything intresting. Suddenly, Naga barked at a cardboard box. “You think someone’s there, girl?” Iris asked. Naga nodded and started nudging the box. “Only one way to find out.” Iris approached the box and lifted it up. What everybody saw made their hearts stop. There was an anthro alicorn laying unconscious on the ground! The girl looked at be about fourteen. Her clothes were in sheds, her hair was really messy and she had a lot of dirt and grime on it as well as her body. Her body also had some bruisers and scratches on it. “Oh my goodness!” Nori cried. “Holy mother of Raava!” Hiro added. “What happened?” Akari asked. “I don’t know.” Iris stated. “But she needs help." Iris carefully picked up the alicorn and placed her on Naga's back. " Me and Naga will take her back to the palace. The rest of you, go gather everybody else and have them come to the palace.” Iris ordered. The twins nodded and went off while Iris and the others went to her castle. Soon, the mane 6, Bolin, Asami, Lady Leilani, Queen Celestia, Queen Luna, Queen Korra, King Mako, Sunset, Nova, Sunburst and Iris’s lizard spirit siblings, San, Mika and Ali were present. Iris placed the unconscious mare in one of the guest bedroom. Korra placed a wet rag on her forehead to bring down her fever. “What ever could have happened to the darling?” Rarity asked. “Not sure but to leave in such a state.” Korra started. “It must have been pretty bad.” "For now, we should leave the mare to rest and check up on her in the morning.” Leilani suggested. Everybody agreed and went off. The next day, Iris went to check on the alicorn, only to find her sitting up in bed, looking around the room. When she saw Iris, she squeaked in fear and hid beneath the covers. "No, no, no. It's alright." Iris cooed. The alicorn slowly came from underneath the covers. "Really?" she squeaked. “Do you wanna tell me your name?” Iris asked. “C-C-Crystal Diamond.” “Well Crystal, I wanna introduce you to my friends and family, is that okay?” Iris asked. Crystal nodded. Iris exited the room and soon came back with her friends and family. "Well, nice to see your awake, young one." Leilani said, carrying a plate of food for Crystal. She graciously accepted the plate and quickly ate everything. Man, was she hungry. "We're so glad you're alright." Fluttershy said. Crystal just gave them a small smile. "Not very talkative are you?" Rainbow asked, earning her a head shake from Crystal. "Well, Crystal?" Twilight started. Crystal looked at her. "Have you ever used your magic before?" "... A-Actually... I n-never d-did." After a moment of silence, Akari yelled, “You’ve never used your magic in your life!” Crystal nodded fearfully. “Easy Kars, you're scaring her.” Chi said. Akari calmed down and apologized. Queen Celestia came forth, "Well then, we should start we some magic training for you." "O-Okay." she replied softly. Celestia looked at Twilight, "Twilight, will you be Crystal's magic teacher?" "Of course." "And I can help her fly." Rainbow offered. "Excellent." Leilani said. Suddenly... BOOM! A loud explosion occurred in Harmony City! “What was that?!” Mako asked. “I don’t know, but it can’t be good.” Korra replied. The gang raced to city hall and saw the problem; a weird creature was wrecking the place! It was blue and small with black fur covering its head and neck, concealing everything but its mouth from view. The fur around its neck also has six purple spots encircling it, which resemble bruises. The hair on the top of its head takes the shape of a single small horn. It also has a short tail that appears to be bitten off. It was ramming anything in front of it, lampposts, stands, benches and even people. Police were trying to restrain it with their ropes but the creature fired a beam of fire at them, burning them easily. Also, two other were chasing after the first one has blue body and a white underside. It has white, three-pronged fins on the sides of its head and a white bump on its forehead. Above its large, round, white snout are oval, purple eyes. The second was sheep-like creature with fluffy cream-colored wool covering its entire body, as well as a curly tuft of wool in the middle of its head. Its head is blue, and it has black eyes. Its four feet are blue and have two digits on each foot, and it appears to be on tiptoe at all times. Its conical ears and tail have a yellow-and-black striped pattern. Also, it has an orange sphere at the end of its tail. "What are those things?!" Mako asked. "Whatever they are; one of them is wrecking the city!" Korra said. The other two creatures were trying to calm down the first one. "How are we gonna stop that one?" Rainbow asked. "Maybe we can our magic?" Twilight suggested. "Ummm... Mom, don't look now but Crystal's already doing something." Akari pointed to Crystal who walked actually walking towards the creature. "Crystal, are you crazy?!" Mai cried. "Get away!" Hiro added. Crystal continued walking towards the creature, who was blasting fire from it's mouth. It stopped Crystal and growled, scraping the floor with his right, front leg. "So you wanna fight huh, Deino?" The creature cried, "Deino!" "Alright then." Crystal closed her eyes and concentrated. Her body glowed and in a second she changed into a yellow mouse-like creature with a lightning bolt-shaped tail, long ears with black tips and red cheeks. "What just happened?!" Twilight cried. "Crystal just shapeshifted without magic!" Akari added. Deino cried and charged Crystal. Crystal dashed forth and electrified herself and rammed Deino. Deino skidded back a little and recovered. He blasted a shock wave from his mouth, but Crystal leaped over it and dove towards it. Her tail glowed and turned to steel. She smacked Deino on the side, sending him crashing to the ground. Deino got up again, but this time Crystal unleashed a bolt of electricity at Deino, shocking him badly and he fainted. Crystal changed back into her normal self, as the other two creatures came to Deino's side. "Dratini?" "Mareep?" Crystal came up to them and picked up the fainted Deino. "Feeling better now, Deino." Deino opened it's eyes and cried happily, "Deino!" Crystal smiled, "Good." Crystal placed Deino down and was suddenly greeted with a roar of applause and cheers from the people of Harmony City. Crystal blushed and rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment. After cleaning up the damage made by Deino, Crystal and the entire gang went back to Iris's palace. "How did you do all tat stuff, Crystal?" Hiro asked. "I've been shapeshifting since I was little." Crystal replied, blushing. "Well for someone who never did magic before, you sure knew what you were doing." Leilani prasied. "Those attacks weren't magic. The attacks were specifically ulutlized for the pokemon I changed into." "Pokemon?" Twilight questioned. "Ys, like Deino, Dratini and Mareep. Pokemon is short for Pocket Monster. They are little creatures that come in all shapes, sizes, types and rarity. Each one has a range of moves it can learn based on it's type. Deino is a dark and dragon type. Dratini is a dragon type and Mareep is an electric type." "So what was the pokemon you turned into?" Akari asked. "That was a Pikachu, an electric type." "Well, you sure packed a punch, Crystal." Applejack commented. Crystal laughed lightly. "Well, I believe I can exlain her ability." a voice said. Everybody looked and saw good old Tenzin, standing at the doorway. "Tenzin, what are you doing here?" Hiro asked. "I've come to tell you about Crystal's magic ability." he replied. "My magic?" Crystal asked. Tenzin nodded, "You, young lady, process an ancient and powerful form of magic called Animal Magic." "Animal Magic?" Korra said. "It is a very rare and powerful type of magic that allows the user to control and summon all kinds of animals.” Tenzin explained. “And when she bends, the element she uses changes into an animal as well.” The gang and Crystal were amazed by Tenzin's words. "So I can summon animals and my bending cane change into animals too?" Tenzin nodded. "Awesome!" Chi exclaimed, "You'll be able to do all kinds of things with that mixture!" "Yeah! So what do you say about getting started?" Twilight inquired. Crystal smiled, "I say... let's do it!"
Magic and Bending TrainingCrystal was in the front of the palace with Korra. They were on either side of the area. The rest of the their friends were sitting on the side lines to watch. "Alright Crystal, we'll start with airbending, alright?" Korra called. "Alright." Crystal replied. Korra started by making a small ball of wind in her hands and tossing it into the air where it dispersed. "Now, you're turn." Crystal took a deep breath and concentrated. She created a small ball of wind in her hands like Korra, but she made it into the shape of an eagle. She tossed it into the air, where it grew larger and larger until it was the size of a fully grown eagle. "Woah!" Chi gasped. "Incredible!" Twilight added. Crystal moved her hands and arms, making the eagle move up and down in the air until she brought it to her side and it dispersed. Crystal opened her eyes, "How'd I do?" Seeing the shocked expressions of her friends and teacher, "... Did I do well?" Korra snapped back to her senses, "Yeah, yeah, you did great for you first try." Crystal smiled. "Now, let's continue." As the airbending lessons prgressed, Crystal showed great potential; making a large pegasus and making it blast Korra with a strong gust of wind and makiing a large tornado as well. Korra also touched on her Animal Magic as well. "Okay, Crystal, I want you to attack me using your airbending and Animal Magic, alright?" Korra inquired. "Okay." Crystal glowed and changed into a snowy white, pegasus. Korra blasted her with a gust of wind, knocking Crystal back, but she used it to fly high into the air. Crystal dove towards Korra, spinning downwards, encasing herself in wind. At the last second, she launched the attack at Korra, sending her flying. Korra flipped over and landed on her feet. "Not bad." Crystal landed and snorted. "I'm ready for more." Crystal galloped towards Korra with her wings glowing. She tired slashed Korra with her wings, but Korra blocked them and retaliated with a strong punch of wind to Crystal's side. Crystal skidded back and brushed the damage off. Taking to sky once more, Crystal rushed Korra in a burst of speed. Korra leaped over the attack and actually landed on Crystal's back! Crystal neighed in shock and tried to buck Korra off but the girl wouldn't let go of her target. Korra began making a ball of wind in her hands, planning to send Crystal crashing into the ground, however, Crystal had another idea. She dove towards the ground at a blinding speed. "What is she up to?" Rainbow asked. "Beats me." Applejack replied. Nearing the ground, Korra was almost done her attack. At the last second, Crystal came to a sudden halt, throwing Korra off of her back and she fell to the ground, canceling the attack. "What the-?!" Mako said. "Of course, Crystal knew when Korra does her wind ball attack she's not holding onto her; she used that to her advantage to stop Korra from using a close range attack." Twilight explained. Crystal landed on the floor as Korra got up, panting. "Alright Crystal, that's enough for today." Crystal glowed and changed back into her self. The two went over to the others. "That was awesome, Crystal!" Rainbow cried. "Yeah, you sure know how to battle." Nova added. "You're a fast learner that's for sure." Sunburst claimed. Crystal smiled at the compliments, "Thank you." Unknown by everyone, someone was watching them. Her proportions were that of a sickly skinny woman, her arms and legs practically bones with insect-like hairs sticking out, and her feet only had two toes. Her entire skin was black, with gray spots, resembling either freckles or sickly spots. Her hair was long and teal, wet looking with holes and pieces that draped over her face and shoulders. She wore a green, dark turquoise ragged one shoulder dress that reached her knees and a green sash around her waist. Behind her back were a pair of torn up insect wings. On her forehead grew a twisted, half broken horn as she adjusted her head and gave her guests a sly, devilish grin, showcasing her sharp fangs. Her name was Queen Chrysalis, leader of the changelings. She had seen everything from her hiding place from a distance and she was interested in this new alicorn's abilities. "So, there's a new alicorn in town huh? With powerful magic too, I must have it." she eyed Iris and her friends. "And I know just how I'm gonna get it." From behind her were three changeling wolves. "You know what to do my babies." The wolves snarled and disappeared into the shadows. After training, Iris and her friends were walking through Harmony City with Sapphire and her pokemon friends. "You did really well in training, Crystal." Iris praised. "Yeah, you're gonna kick major butt in the future with your skills." Chi, in her anthro form, added. "Hehe, thanks you guys." Crystal said. Suddenly, three changeling wolves appeared on the scene and quickly snatched Iris and her friends, grabbing them by their waists. "Wah! Hey! Ugh! Gah! Ow! Ah!" If you don't know what they look like, picture some starving wolves (skinny legs and exposed rib cages and all. Horrible, I know), and replace the ribs with the shells, holes on their legs and bony tails with almost skeletal-like heads and razor sharp fangs, dripping with green goop. "Guys!" Crystal cried. The wolves turned to her with her friends in their mouths. One wolf growled, "You want the back then meet out Queen at the City Hall, alicorn." With that, the small pack dashed away quickly. Crystal dashed back to the palace. "Everyone! Everyone!" The gang immediately came at the sound of her call. "What's wrong Crystal? And where are Iris and the other?" Mako asked. "Some were skinny wolves came and snatched them up." The gang gasped. "They said if you want to see them again meet our Queen at City Hall." Korra clenched her fists, knowing whose responsible for the kidnappings. "Queen Chrysalis." he grumbled. "Who is she?" Crystal asked. "She's a big meanie pants who wants to steal the love from every creature." Pinkie explained. "But what does she want with Iris and the others?" "No time for that Pinkie, we have to save the kids." Rainbow said. "Right, let's go." Leilani added. Everybody dashed out of the palace, including Deino, Dratini and Mareep. They all went to City Hall and sure enough there was the changeling queen surrounded by her changeling wolves. The changeling wolves had also captured a few civilians as well. Iris and her friends were all tied up in the changeling wolves slime. "You won't get away with this, Chrysalis!" Iris said. Chrysalis laughed. "Oh yes I will, once that little alicorn hands over her magic, I'll be able to takeover Equestria and the Spirit World." "Crystal will never give up her magic!" Chi exclaimed. "We'll see." "Chrysalis!" a voice called. Chrysalis turned and saw the royal family and Crystal with her pokemon. "Let our kids go, now!" Twilight demanded. "Not until, the little alicorn gives up her magic." Chrysalis bargained. "No way, creep." San said. "Let our little sister and her friends go!" "Give me her magic then." That's when Crystal stepped forth, "I'll give you my magic, if you can beat me in a battle, bug queen." she challenged. The royal family, lizard spirit siblings, Iris and her friends and the civilians all gasped. Crystal was challenging Chrysalis to a battle for her magic. Chrysalis smirked. "Deal." The two stood on opposite side of the street, staring each other down. Korra and the others stood back a little. "Draw." Chrysalis said. She charged Crystal, who jumped over her and kicked her in the back. Chrysalis growled and fired her magic at Crystal. She used her own magic to create a barrier around herself and deflected the attack. That's when she glowed and changed into Pikachu once more. "That's the best you can do?" Chrysalis taunted. She lunged at Crystal whom leaped towards her and smacked her with an Iron Tail Attack, sending her crashing to the ground. She landed on the ground. "Pika Pika." "Is that the best you got?" The Queen got back up and lunged at her. The two engaged in a close combat fight; Chrysalis trying to punch Crystal while she's using Iron Tail to block. That's when Crystal unleashed Thunderbolt at close range, sending the Queen flying back and into the stairs of city hall. Getting up once again, Chrysalis decided to up the anty. "Changeling Wolves, Attack her!" The wolves snarled and charged Crystal. Leaping into the air once more, she changed into another Pokemon. This one resembled that of a wolf. Name; Lycanroc, Midday Form. Crystal howled and launched rocks from her tail, blasting some of the wolves back. Crystal landed on the ground and charged the wolves at blinding speeds, easily knocking them to the ground. Finally, she jumped into the air and made large rocks appear around her. She launched them at the wolves, crushing them easily. Chrysalis growled. "She's incredible!" Bolin cried. "Yeah, she's kicking their butts!" Korra added. The other were very impressed with Crystal's battling skills. Crystal approached Chrysalis and snarled at her. Knowing she couldn't win this fight she decided to retreat. "Wolves, fall back!" The wolves listen to their Queen and rallied around her. "This isn't over yet, Crystal. I'll get that magic!" she declared. With that, she and the wolves disappeared. Crystal went over to her friends and cut the ropes with her claws. Iris and Akari hugged her. "Thanks, Crystal, you saved us." Akari praised. Crystal happily liked the two girls, making them laugh. Mai and Hiro released the other captured people. Crystal changed back into her human self and once again she was greeted by the cheers and applause from the civilians. Korra and the others came up to her. "Way'd a go, Crystal!" Rainbow exclaimed. "You beat the stuffing out of threat Queen and her wolves." Mako added. "You sure showed her." Ali said. Crystal smiled and blushed at the praises she was getting. That's when everybody heard a whimper coming from one of the rocks. "What's that?" Gallent asked. Crystal went to it and saw it was one of the changeling wolves. The wolf was whimpering in pain. "Poor thing, let me get this off of you." Crystal used her magic to lift the rock and make is disappeared. Looking at the wolf, she saw the front, right paw was swollen and bleeding. "Awwww." Crystal bend down to touch the wolf. "Crystal don't it's dangerous!" Iris cried, but she didn't. She touched the wolf on it's face and amazingly, the wolf actually leaned into her touch. "Well I'll be darn." Applejack said. "Don't worry, I'll get you all fixed up." Crystal said to the wolf. The wolf looked at her and tilted her head. Crystal carefully lifted the wolf up and walked back to the palace. "Poor thing, you must be hungry, I'll get you some food too." All her friends, including the royal family and the lizard spirit siblings were just staring with small pupils and small straight mouths. They all just watched as Crystal walked off, leaving them still trying to process what thy just witness. "What just happened?" Mako asked. "Crystal just befriended a changeling wolf." Hiro answered.
Kindness in an Unexpected FormCrystal entered the palace and took the changeling wolf into the sickbay section of the palace. She placed it on a bed and looked through the cabinets until she found what she was looking for; the first aid kit. The wolf whimpered and she approached it with the strange white and red box. "It's alright. This'll help you feel better." The wolf calmed a little as Crystal got out a gauze, hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls. First, she washed out the wound with some water. She saw the wound was just a medium-sized scratch. After that, she poured some of the peroxide on the wound, earning her a yelp from the wolf. "Shhhh." she cooed. Placing the cotton ball on the wound and then wrapping it up in the gauze, she was soon finished addressing the wound. "There you go, big fella. All fixed." The wolf looked at the bandage and up at Crystal. She lean in and licked her as if saying, 'Thank you.' "Your welcome." Iris, Akari, Mai, Hiro, Gallent Seed, Chi, Korra, Mako, Asami, Boiln, the Mane 6, Queens Leliani, Celestia and Luna, Starlight, Sunset, Sunburst, Nova and the lizard Spirit siblings all entered the sickbay, seeing the wolf was up on it's feet again. "Sooo... you've healed it, huh?" Rainbow said. "Yeah." The wolf jumped onto her chest and started licking her. "He's big softie, can I keep him?" A moment of silence fell. "Well... Ummm..." Korra started. "The.. um... thing is, uh." Iris added. Nobody knew exactly what to say to her. Changeling wolves were vicious and dangerous, but this one acted like a puppy. "Please?" she pleaded. Korra sighed, "Alright, Crystal, you can keep it." "YEAH!" Crystal cheered, hugging her new pet. The wolf howled too and glowed as well. "What's happening to it?" Chi asked. Chi got the answer when the light diminished revealing a completely new changeling wolf. He looked like a normal healthy wolf with snowy white fur with silver stars all over his body. His wings changed to that of a falcon. "Woah, it transformed!" Twilight exclaimed. "But how?" "Maybe when Crystal showed it kindness, it was able to feed on that and transform? Changelings do feed on emotions." Akari suggested. "I think you maybe right." her mother agreed. The wolf walked over to Korra and nuzzled her leg. Korra bend down and stared at him. "You look much better like this." she commented, getting her a lick from the transformed changeling wolf. The wolf bounced over to Crystal and rubbed against her. "So what are you gonna name him?" Iris asked. Crystal thought of some names that would fit her new companion. "... Welcome to the family, Silver." The wolf barked, accepting the name. Deino, Dratini and Mareep came over and greeted their new friend. Soon, everyone was in the palace throne room discussing Crystal's abilities. "So we know she can change into animals and create animals with the four nature elements." Twilight went over. "And now Chrysalis knows she can do this too." "So what, she'll just beat her but like the last time." Flash said with a smirk. "It may not be that easy. She may develop new ways to try and steal her magic." Korra sighed. '"Well then, we'll just have to continue to train her." Mika stated. The others agreed went to find Crystal to start her training again. They found her already bonding her with wolf pet by laying fetch. "Alright, g get it Silver." The wolf barked and chased after the ball. H got it in his mouth and brought it back to Crystal. "Good boy." "Crystal!" Korra called. Crystal saw them and went over to her friends. "Yes, Korra?" "Crystal, you wanna start training again?" Crystal grinned, "Yeah." Korra and the others grinned at her happiness, "Alright, let's go." This time for the training session, they went to a wide open field, this way they would battle at full force and not risk hurting anyone. Iris and her friends were present too, along with Crystal's pokemon. "Alright Crystal, this time we'll be working with firebending." Korra said. Crystal froze a little and the sound of 'fire'. Mako rolled his eyes. Fire was Korra's favorite element. Korra started by launching a ball off fire at Crystal, however, instead of deflecting it like everyone expected her to, she just dodged and hid behind a tree. "Huh? Crystal?" Korra called. "What was that about?" Rainbow asked. Deino, Dratini and Mareep went over to the tree where their trainer was hiding along with Iris and her friends. They saw Crystal curled up in a ball of fear, whimpering with tears coming out of her eyes. "Crystal... what's the matter?" Gallent asked. Deino and Dratini nuzzled their trainer. "Deino?" "Tini Dra, Tini." The three pokemon haven't seen her like this, even though they've know her few a few days, but they didn't like it. Crystal did something between and sob and a breath, ".... No.... fire.... memory." "Memory? Of what?" Gallent asked. That's when Korra, Twilight, Celestia, Luna and Leliani came over. "Children, what's wrong?" Leilani asked. The saw Crystal huddled up in the ball. "Why is Crystal so distressed?" Luna asked. "All she said was 'No... fire... memory'." Akari said. "Memory about what?" Celestia asked. "That's the question, but based on her reaction, it had to be pretty terrible for her to be afraid of fire like this." Iris added. Crystal sat up and sniffling, wiping tears from her eyes. "Crystal... do you wanna tell us why you're scare of fire?" Korra asked gently, kneeling down beside her. Crystal sniffled and nodded, "Can we talk... in the palace?" Korra nodded and the girls took Crystal to the palace main room. They wanted to speak to her alone so they asked their friends to leave. "So it started when I was about nine years old..." Flashback Nine-year old Crystal was playing in a field with her parents watching her from a bench. She was happy and cheerful until fireball came out of nowhere and almost hit her. "Crystal!" her mother immediately raced over to her daughter and picked her up. "Are you alright?" Crystal nodded, very shaken up. That's when the family heard a loud swquck from above. Looking up they all say a giant yellow bird with a long, flowing head crest and a billowing tail, both made of flames. Additionally, its wings are also shrouded in fiery plumage. Its straight, pointed beak is brown along with small talons. The bird kept blasting everything with a fire attack, burning the fields easily. "Mommy!" Crystal sobbed. Her mother held her daughter tighty, trying to calm her down. Her father used his firebending to disperse the fire long enough for the family to escape. The large bird flew away while the family tried to recover from what they just experienced. End of Flaskback "After that I became afraid of any fire, coming towards me. Me using fire attacks is fine, but I just get that horrible memory when fire is launched at me." Crystal finished. The Queens were all shocked and horrified from Crystal's story. "That's terrible." Korra said. "No wonder you freaked." Twiight added. Crystal nodded. "How about we just focus on wind, water and earth. Then, if you feel ready by then, we'll train with you fire bending?" Korra offered. Crystal liked the idea and nodded. Korra smiled and they all exited the room. "Korra, what happened?" Mako asked. "Yeah, what's going on?" Chi added. Korra and Twilight explained everything to the group. When they were done, they were in a mixture of sadness and shock. "Poor Crystal, so that's why you were so scared when Korra fired fire at you." Fluttershy cooed. Crystal shyly nodded. Iris and Akari came up to her. "Don't worry, just focus on the other three elements and then you'll focus on fire." Iris stated. "Alright." Crystal said. "So why don't we start with some water bending?" Korra proposed. Crystal nodded. But before they could began Mareep came into the room, crying in distress, "Mareep! Mareep!" "Mareep, what's wrong?" Nova asked. Mareep ran out of the room and the gang followed her to the outisde of the palace wherer Deino and Dratini were present, however, something was wrong. Deino and Dratini were glowing! "Why are they glowing?" Mai asked. "Cause they're evolving." Crystal replied. "EVOLVING!" Everybody exclaimed. And sure enough when the light vanished in place of Deino and Dratini were two different pokemon. The first one was the same color as Deino, except it had two heads and four legs with two thin wings on its back, each ending in two points. The second was a longer version of Dratini. It had a small orb underneath it's neck and an orb of the top of it's head. Its head is flanked by two small, stylized wings, which are white and curve into a swirl at the base. "Sweet Mother of Raava! What are they?!" Hiro and Mai cried in unison. "Zwellous and Dragonair, the evolved forms of Deino and Dratini." Crystal said. "But how?" Mako asked. "Pokemon evolve when they reach a certain level or by an evolutionary stone. Deino and Dratini must have reach their evolution level." Crystal explained. Zwellous and Dragonair came over to Crystal and nuzzled her. "Hehe, I'm so happy for you both." "Zwellous, Zwe!" "Nair." The friends were happy for the pokemon. Mareep came over and cried happily for her friends. "Now how about that water training?" Nori asked. Crystal smiled, "Alright."
