The Battle Against The Klaxousaurs

Rarity and Hiro's friends continued their journey to save Equestria and as they did that time passed more quickly than they thought, they had been traveling since meeting Rarity so they decided to take a break at this house which was abandoned due to a Klaxousaur attack.

Once they got inside they set up a small room where Rarity could have privacy and then Hiro and Goro went to work on Strelizia together as it has been damaged. Rarity looked around at the room while her friends settled down for a while.

As Hiro's friends did this Ichigo and Ikuno were discussing about their failed attempt at piloting a Franxx, they knew that their wouldn't be any harm in trying again and plus they didn't try enough the last time they attempted the pistil to pistil connection.

This made Ichigo and Ikuno ask their friends if they could try once again, Ichigo took Ikuno by the hand and led her over to Hiro and the others and spoke.

"Hiro can we try Pistil to Pistil piloting again, I know the result of last time but I'm wondering if we will now have a different outcome. Can we try it?" Ichigo asked, Hiro thought about this and spoke.

"Alright you can, there's no harm in trying a second time but I can already see it failing again if it does work though you two can pilot together on the battlefield if you want." Hiro said. Ichigo and Ikuno thanked him and that's when Rarity spoke up.

"Darling if you don't mind me asking this I want to know why can't two pistils pilot a Franxx but yet pistils can pilot with stamen's? Don't you think that's unfair?" Rarity asked, Hiro nodded.

"Yeah it's pretty unfair but don't worry it might work this time, there's no harm in trying two times." Hiro said.

"Alright, I hope it works for them, how did that past test go anyway?" Rarity asked, Hiro told her all about the last test and Rarity shook her head.

"I hope so to, the last one didn't go to well, I overheard about the last one." Hiro noted, Rarity nodded.

"Alright well go and test it out with Delphinium, do you mind Goro?" Ichigo asked but Goro shook his head.

"No I don't, besides it would be a historical milestone if two girls could pilot a Franxx, go on and try it." Goro said, Ichigo kissed Goro and they both went out to Delphinium while Hiro went to watch over the test to see the results.

Ichigo and Ikuno got dressed into their suits and entered the Franxx and Ichigo got into the pistil position by bending over into the Pistil position while Ikuno got dejavu from this, they didn't want to fail especially Ikuno, they could have piloted a Franxx together in order to give Goro a break or piloted in case a Stamen was injured.

"Ready Ichigo?" Ikuno asked, Ichigo took a deep breath.

"Yeah let's try this again, I hope this works for both of us and for future Pistil's everywhere." Ichigo said.

Ikuno sat down and the door to Delphinium closed Ikuno sat down and fixed her gloves, Ikuno's suit handle bars popped out from her robotic suit and Ikuno got a hold of them.

"Delphinium has no result yet but that might change." Hiro announced as he watched the monitor.

"Damn just like last time." Ichigo cursed.

"Just be patient, it might work." Ichigo said. They both waited in silence as Hiro was on stand by Ikuno wanted this to work so badly, Rarity watched the commotion to se did such if a thing as this could be achieved.

"If this didn't work last time then how do they think it will work now?" Rarity asked pointing out the fallacy of this test, Hiro just shrugged.

"I don't really know, it will be interesting to see if any results do come in." He said as he checked the monitor.

They stood their in silence as they watched the monitor while Ikuno and Ichigo continued their second attempt, the whole team waited in the back, including Futoshi while eating a cream donut.

Then before they could quit the test results started to trickle in, a weak connection started on the monitor, that connection grew stronger as the seconds ticked by, the friends were sh ones at this result, Ichigo and Ikuno felt something flow through them.

Soon the amount of energy crossed their bare minimum and Hiro told them the results.

"It works girls! Looks like you two can pilot together whenever Goro can't with Ichigo." Hiro announced. He looked to Goro and spoke.

"Your okay with that right?" He asked.

"Of coarse I am, if I'm ever out of commission Ichigo now has a back up pilot." Goro said.

"Wow it actually worked Zero Two commented as all of the commotion attracted her to watch the monitors. Hiro ended the test so Ichigo and Ikuno got out and went back into the main room.

"Congratulations darling, you were pretty determined to make that work." Rarity noted, Ikuno blushed.

"I know we were both really determined in their, now we have eachother as a back up pilot in case either one of our stamen's can't operate." Ikuno noted.

"Well that's enough testing for today come on let's go do something else while we are still here and then later we can head out again and try and fight off these Klaxousaurs so they don't harm Equestria." Goro said, and with that they went to check on the perimeter to check and see if any Klaxousaurs were nearby and then took a break as they knew that they had more tough battles ahead of them, they knew that in order to save Equestria they were just going to have to bear the tough battles that awaited them because if they didn't Equestria would be doomed to a future where Klaxousaurs ruled the entire kingdom if the Klaxousaurs succeeded.
