First Contact

While at the Crystal Empire,

Twilight saw strange vehicles gliding across the snow, and did not know what to make of them. Later, she saw figures of some sort, rushing towards the castle. Cadence saw them too, and alerted the guards. The guards lost the intruders, due to a sudden plume of blue smoke from a pressurized container.

"This is impossible.", Cadence panicked.

Twilight and Spike got back on task, with locating the Crystal Heart. Twilight became surrounded by black crystals as she tried to get it. Spike reluctantly began descending the outside of the tower, and yelled down to the others.

"I've got the Crystal Heart.", he yelled.

However, Sombra overheard and began to grow a pillar to reach him. Shining Armor picked Cadence up and she saw poor Spike falling to the ground. She spread her wings, and he hurled her upward. Sombra was slowed down, because a mysterious energy shield had materialized out of nowhere, and stopped him in his tracks. Cadence caught Spike and glided to the ground. The heart was put back in place, and King Sombra was destroyed. The Empire was peaceful again. However, the unknown figures had vanished completely. Nopony knew where they had come from, or where they had vanished to.
